I've reached a point in my life where now I'm doing anything in hopes that I just die. I'm purposefully taking way too much of my medication each night, in hopes that I just end up overdosing and dying in my chair. I'm forcing myself not to eat, mainly because I lost my appetite, but because I'd rather starve to death then suffer myself alone. I don't have many friends now. None at all even. Everyone always leaves in the end, so why not get off planet earth forever? I'm starting to put electronics way too close to me when I'm taking a bath, maybe hoping I accidentally I knock into the water with me.

I don't have much to live for anymore. I lost the one thing I thought I'd have forever, and I can't move on no matter how hard I try. People tell me to get help, but I don't have financial means of getting help. I don't have insurance, and I can't ask for help because no one will. I genuinely have no idea what to do and how to continue living my life like I used to. I made a simple mistake and what I want to correct but I'm not being given the chance. I can't find ways to meet new people, I opened up my 'questions' on here in hopes someone, anyone, would try and connect with me. I put my Discord username in my bio in hopes someone adds me so I can meet new people, but I'm just a vast speck in an abyss of nothingness. My life never mattered to anyone else. I don't feel loved by anyone anymore. So, I probably won't live to see 2026, or anything like that. I probably won't even see Christmas this year. This isn't even me 'attention-whoring' or whatever it's called, I'm just venting because i have no other outlet. I'm lost and broken in a giant space of an emotionless void, and I'd like help, I'd like friends, I'd like to see that there's something better for me out there in the world, but when you thought you had that and you lose it, all over one mistake, it really feels like the world is against you and there's nothing left for you.

I suffered all through the majority of 2024 by myself, getting into an accident that injured me that I walk with a slight limp, one that I had already from being hit by a car in 2017, but now it's more noticeable and is majorly fucking up my day-to-day life than it used to and I have no means of getting it treated. Losing a piece of myself with the loss of my own Dog that was the final connection I had to my father that I lost in 2021 due to cancer, that I'm still reeling from. It's just not fair. I know I shouldn't be complaining, there are people out there who understandably have it worse than me. In comparison, what I've been through is like a paper-cut to what others have gone through, but when you're an introverted, mentally ill, socially anxious trans woman from a state that is heavily conservative and wants to actively kill you, it's hard not to feel like everything is pointless. No one's ever accepted me for who I am, aside from one person and they're gone and I'm truly alone in the world. I'm so lost, and angry, and just...I've lost myself and I want the pain to all be over. I don't want to say 'any help is appreciated' because what help can there be? I know what would help me, but I can't get it and never will have it ever again. I was going to better myself, I was. But now I'm just reminded each and every day I had something perfect in my life and I let it get away from me because I am a fucking colossal piece of shit, who can never say what she's ever really thinking because I'm scared of pushing those away with whatever I say. People can see this and go "this fucking girl is off the rails, she needs to get off tumblr and do something with her life other than want to wallow in misery. Life is just hard and you gotta go forward with it no matter how hard it gets." But I don't have any other outlet. I don't. And I would want to do something with my life, I had a plan in mind of what I wanted for me, but it's all changed now.

I had a goal I worked towards and it's gone. It's gone, and I'll never get it back. My fear's of abandonment and being replaced have all become realized in the last week. That I was never special to those I held dear. That I was always just someone who was expendable and could be replaced, when I thought I wasn't. I had a bond that I thought was unbreakable and it broke because of my shitty decisions. I'll hate myself forever for it. I just want a chance to start over, start again, but I won't ever get that. Never. I'll never meet someone just as wonderful. There's no one out there for me anymore.

I'm in a spiral and I can't stop spiraling. I don't know how everyone else handles with it, but I can't. If I could have just one last chance, one last one, to make everything right, to heal, to fix everything. I'd take it, because then and only then would I have any potential chance of being able to feel like myself ever again. But I'm not going to get it. Never in a million years. I've ruined everything. When you love someone so much, and they just replace you without a second thought, as if your time together meant nothing. I've done nothing but cry, and toss and turn for the last week. I genuinely cannot sleep at night, I'm literally up to the crack of dawn with my eyes dried out from crying the whole time. I've never hurt like this. I'll never be fixed from this. The only way I feel I'll ever feel better about myself and what's happened is if I am able to try and fix it, rebuild a bridge I destroyed that I want to fix and change so badly, or if I just die, by my own hand. I was caught trying to stab myself in my bathtub, but I don't think of it as divine intervention. I feel like it was more me being tortured, being forced to stay here, in some shitty hell where I'm broken, forced to endure a life without the one I love by my side anymore, because It's all I've ever deserved in life. To be tortured because I've never been a good person I guess, despite me trying to be. How can it all go out of control so quickly? I've repented and begged for so much forgiveness but wasn't given it. I can't help but feel like I destroy everyone I love, because I'm mentally ill, and I suffer every day for it. Relationships can still be fixed no matter what, I always thought that, they may never be the same as they used to but...I refuse to believe in a world where two people can't still have some resemblance of a relationship.

I've just been posting frequently because I genuinely have no one else to talk to. No Friends. No Family. No Therapist or Counselor, not even a Doctor. So I just vent on here, hoping someone sees me and hears my plight. I'm not asking for sympathy or pity or anything. I'm not asking for anything at all. I just want someone to know that I was here, and I mattered, and that to learn from a mistake I wish I could take back that I made.

Don't let silence linger, lest you want to be all alone for the rest of your life.

I'll have contingency plans just in case something is to happen to me. Just to say if I, the owner of this blog, passed or something. Whether that's a note by my PC letting whoever finds me be told to announce on here of my passing or something else, not that anyone would miss me being in the world.

I'm just in so much pain right now and I want it to stop.

So, obviously Asteria is not my real name, I think that goes without saying. The reason why I selected it though is sort of silly!

Before I got into writing fanfiction I was actually entertaining the idea of designing k-pop related merch! It’s something I may still explore in the future so I won’t drop any design ideas or my prospective business name here, but this is necessary context I fear.

One of my absolutely favorite k-pop groups is BTS. Basic bitch answer I know, but I just think their music is very, very good!! My favorite member is RM, and one of his many nicknames is “The God of Destruction” because he… well, he breaks shit. A lot. Relatable king honestly.

So when I was planning this brand, I thought it would be cool to have a mascot. She’s a cross between my love for BTS, my love for classical Greek aesthetics and my love for one particular artist that I was very fortunate to get to work with, and guess what? You can view the piece here!

Anyway I decided this girl needed a name, so I started researching who the Ancient Greek god of destruction was, and that led me to the Titan God Perses. And guess what? Perses had a wife named Asteria!

When I started posting fanfics, I settled on using the name as a pseudonym… for fun (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

So that’s my super embarrassing, long-winded explanation behind my username!

some facts about me!

why is my username marknee?

my user is a play on words, and partially a running joke in my life. the first portion of my name sounds like ‘knee’ (ni), so i combined that word with one of my biases, mark lee - whose last name rhymes with said word. thus, i merged my own name (of sorts) and mark lee’s together and you get: marknee (mark-nee) or also seen as (mark-knee [ni]) or (mar[k]-nee).

who are my biases?

BTS. namjoon biased, yoongi bias wrecker. (re: hyung line enthusiast to my core.)

SEVENTEEN. scoups biased, jeonghan and seungkwan bias wrecker.

what groups do i listen to?

honestly, i will listen to any group, any song, any genre if i vibe with the music. my main playlist is about 48hrs long! i listen to red velvet a lot though. their whole discography is worth dying for - especially their b-sides. but i love love love nct’s music too. and shinee. and every sm group ever.

when did i get into kpop?

unbeknownst to me, i actually started listening to kpop in 2016! my first song was boombayah by blackpink, and i just remember absolutely loving it. but i officially got into kpop mid-2017! best decision ever.

You had been friends with Namjoons since you had worked together during a talk show. They had invited you to represent the “social media” group and Bts was supposed to be the “music industry” area.

Needless to admit, you were a big fan of their music and performances. However, you understood the overwhelming sensation of being bombarded by too many questions so you made an effort to stay calm and friendly. When the event was over, you had had the opportunity to meet all the memebers and actually become friends with most of them. Little did you knew that Namjoon would be the one to catch you entire attention. He was intelligent, interesting to hear and a wonderful listener too. Other memebers would joke about you two being two seperated pieces of the same puzzle. ARMYs and your fans noticed it too, watching your Tik Toks or short videos together. Really soon, they were begging you to film a vlog with him. You had his number so you thought that, while beingin the same country, you could ask him if he wanted to be in one of youe videos. He, of course, said yes.

The last one had really caught your attention and you soon added various of their songs to your playlist. You even mentioned Suga´s rap on your videos, claiming how talented he was. ARMYs made their magic and, out of nowhere, Yoongi was on your DM´s asking you to collaborate with him

Your heart nearly popped off your chest as you read the message nearly one hundred times. Fortunately, you pulled yourself together and accepted his offer without even thinking.

You had been working with one of BTS sponsors for a while nowr.

They had contacted you because of your huge influnce among teens and young adults, telling you that they would love to have you in their business. You accepted liking their terms and friendly atmosphere and soon you were travelling around the world participating in events and talk shows. That night you had to be in an award show talking to popular artists and you were extremely excited. However, the company told you to focus in one specific band; BTS. They had come from Korea and this was an opportunity they couldn´t ignore. You made your best to talk to them, which they were pleased to do so, and you even got their manager´s number to contact them on behalf of the company.

Although your chat was brief, Hoseok was nseaky enough to slip his telephone number into your purse. He had tried to be discreet but a camera had caught his action and soon your fans were begging you to have him on your channel.

“I don´t mind all”-he shrugged-” It means I can have more time with you!”

Jimin (Park JImin)

You had filmed yourself doing the “Idol Challenge”, going viral in just days.

Jimin, being always thoughtful with his fans, scrolled through the tag finding their dancings amusing and entertaining. He tried to see every video he could but yours charmed him immediately. You had a bright smile on and you had actually nailed the choreography. A sudden urge to ask you if you wanted him to teach you one of their choreographies overtook him and he found himself texting you. Of course, you said yes.

You had panicked due to his recognition.

Your fans nearly smashed their keyboards while writing comments on your most recent video about the event and how you should consider inviting Taehyung for your next video. You wanted to please your viewers, you really did, but insecurities were far stronger. What if he laughed at your poor attempt to convince him? Or maybe he wouldn´t even open your request, claiming that he was far better than a mere youtuber. However, you truly knew he wouldn´t do such thing. You were neither the best player among your group nor the worst, and Jungkook knew it because he watched your videos. Therefore, when you asked him through the game´s chat if he wanted to join your streaming, he accepted without hesitation.
