A XVIII Century Scotish Wedding Dress.

Since i saw the first season of “Outlander” i really wanted to make Claire Fraser Randall Wedding Dress. I mean, look at it.. is GORGEOUS. I know is not like exactly the same dress, but is a very closed MM reproduction and i did the best i could do according to my meshing knowledge.

A Bit of Fun: 15 Questions

I have been tagged by @rkm282 ~Thank you :-).

1. Are you named after someone?

Sort of, my mother loved the story “Peter Pan” so I was named after Wendy. She told me if I were a boy she would have named me Peter. 

2. When was the last time you cried?

I got a little misty eyed a few days ago. There is a terrible fire happening north of where I live and an entire town was burned down. People had minutes to leave, many had no choice or time to collect their valuables or pets. So far there are 79 dead and hundreds still missing. They have managed to find many pets suffering various degrees of burns from the fire. It’s been so smokey here where I live to where it’s unhealthy but I just keep remembering the suffering that these poor souls are enduring. Lord it makes me so sad just typing it.

3. Do you have kids?

No.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Quite often. 

5. What’s the first thing you notice about someone?

Their attitude and appearance equally. I work with people on a daily basis so I usually go by my gut feeling despite what they look like.

6. What’s your eye colour?

That would depend on my mood and what I’m wearing. They are sort of a gray green. Sometimes they are a olive green or a hazel.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Scary movies with happy endings :-D.

8. Special talents?

I can manage offend people without even trying!!! Sort of joking... Actually I can draw and I’m a bit crafty. 😁

9. Where were you born?

California.

10. Hobbies

I like doodling, drawing. I enjoy snapping photos. I like knitting a little bit. I also like crafting stuff but honestly I don’t usually have enough time to do this stuff.

11. Pets?

Absolutely. Three indoor cats: Benjamin, Alice and Tobias. Three parrots: Squeak, Billy and Snoopy. One outside cat: Freddy. One Fish: Pretty (a red Betta).

12. Sports you play/have played?

I used to on track and soccer - I was left wing. That was a LOOOONG time ago!!

13. How tall are you?

5′10″

14. Favourite subject?

When I was in school it would have been science and art...and lunch!

15. Dream job?

I would like to be able to work with animals. More exact: To be independently wealthy enough to volunteer my time working with homeless pets. Establishing a free vet clinic to teach vets in training as well as educating pet owners of proper animal care.

So I’ve been looking for some inspiration for Sims 4 build ideas and as I’m just a tad obsessed with Versailles I wanted to try turning one of the worlds into a Versailles style town. I still have plans on finishing my Sims 3 Villandry Build and World (https://www.tumblr.com/blog/sims-3-villandry), but I’ve really fallen in love with playing Sims 4. It’s so much easier and quicker to build lots and I love the fact it doesn’t crash every 5 minutes even with the obscene amount of CC I have in both games!

I was originally only looking to make it an 18th Century time period world, but after finding this house currently for sale in the town of Versailles I quite like the idea of mixing 18th Century and modern together so I might actually make 2 versions of it. One modern and one 18th Century. These are side by side comparisons of the real house and my build of it so far.

I fully intend to share the builds and game save files once they’re completed, so I hope you guys like the idea. This house, that I’ve initially named Maison de Versailles, is still a work in progress, but it’s coming along nicely. I’ve had to make a few changes thanks to the build limitations of Sims 4. Plus the original house doesn’t have a very large garden, so I’ve taken artistic license by adding a greenhouse and pool. I’ve also had to change the layout slightly as there weren’t enough photos of all of the rooms or a floor plan available.

As soon as its finished and I’m happy with it I’ll upload it to the gallery and refer back here with links to all the CC I’ve used and then I’ll do it’s 18th Century Version. Plus this is also a shameful plug of my side Tumblr (https://www.tumblr.com/blog/thesims4versaillescollection) as I’ve used some of my custom versions of @felixandresims​ walls and I love his custom content so much. Plus it’s his lovely custom content’s fault that I’ve not finished my Villandry Build yet ;o)

Grand Salon Wall Set

I was already working on this set when son999999 showed screenshots of similar panels on @felixandresims‘ Patreon Community page. However, mine have different panels at the base of them, which I created using sections of the main panels that I edited so I thought I would carry on with mine. They have 3 swatches, Light Brown, Dark Brown and White and come in all 3 wall heights. They are best used in conjunction with Felixandre’s Trianon Manger Walls shown in the last screenshot.
