"Oh shit, am I late for movie night again?" 

Riz is already laughing as he reaches for the remote– it had been decided, back when "nerd movie nights" were first established, that he would have complete control over said remote, to keep order. 

"It's fine, we're barely five minutes in," Adaine offers. 

Fabian is panting something fierce, standing in the doorway of the dorm she shares with Riz. His coat is already sliding off his shoulders, his hair only half-pulled up in a way that makes him look even more frazzled, and he slumps against the wall as soon as the door slides shut behind him. "You guys live too far away," he complains. 

"This is why you should've come here," Riz says, as Adaine laughs. 

It's a quiet night. Adaine should get up and help Fabian take his coat off and get settled, but she's already so comfortable, curled up in Gorgug's arms; he doesn't move, just snorts so softly Adaine barely catches it even with her close proximity. He, unlike Fabian, had arrived with plenty of time to spare, helping Adaine fix up their typical movie-night snacks and grab some pillows and blankets from the tiny storage closet to make their space just a bit more comfortable. 

They don't have a real living room, here in this dorm, but they do have two beds; Adaine and Riz both are small enough to just share since neither one of them sleeps in a typical fashion or even at the same time, which means the other functions as their go-to couch for when the whole party is visiting. Tonight, though, Gorgug and Fabian are the only guests, which is the standard. 

Riz, in this case, is helpful, jumping up to fuss over Fabian's general appearance and guide him over to where Adaine and Gorgug are already sitting, leaning against the wall with a truly exorbitant amount of pillows cushioning the space. "We did pick out something without you though," he says, and Adaine can't help but snicker at the way Fabian's expression falls. "Don't worry, it's supposed to be super engaging." 

"I always worry when you and Adaine are the ones picking out the movie," Fabian huffs, but he's smiling. 

Then, he's prodding at Adaine's side, nudging her not-so-gently. "Move over, I want to be in the middle this time." 

Adaine flips him off casually, but she's not going to oppose shifting over, all but climbing into Gorgug's lap. Gorgug merely tucks the blanket they're sharing around her so that it can accommodate them both, and Adaine curls her head into his chest, sighing softly.

How I feel about this character: i love him so much!! murph knows how to play a paranoid bastard and play them well. him conspiracy boards? scarily relatable. riz is my adhd king and i love it. i also love the “weird” way he cares for his friends, and how happy he was when fig just offered to knock him out if he lost control in Hell <3 we stan a responsible (not always) king

All the people I ship romantically with this character: i personally headcanon him aroace but i can see how people ship fabriz!

My non-romantic OTP for this character: all of the bad kids! and penny and zelda! i just feel like they’d vibe

My unpopular opinion about this character: uh...idk if i have one? i wish when people wrote him they’d lean into his feral traits more? but that’s it!

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: honestly? i really wanted a scene between pok, sklonda, AND riz! just all of them together one last time <3

I really respect Murph taking every chance he gets to make his character as pathetic as possible. Jens lying about having a car and secretly taking the bus while crying. Kugrash leaving his family to be a rat living in the sewers. Cody selling his soul to the wrong demon. Truly he found the best way to play dnd.
