Favorite Childhood Book: i saved this for last because oh boy do i have an answer for this. no i lied it's several answers based on what part of my childhood we're talking

-toddlerhood: Jamberry. it's a board book that still gives me a warm happy feeling

-age 5ish: the Ramona series. my parents say i really saw myself in that girl

-gradeschool: The Magicians of Caprona specifically, but all of the Chrestomanci novels in general. except Witch Week. that one is only good once you have an understanding of british history. also Animorphs, which is really funny now that i'm trans. heavily shaped me in ways i could not have understood

-age 9ish: Artemis Fowl and its, at the time, two sequels. they get progressively worse after that point and i'm actually glad i didn't get more until i was out of my really bad obsession

-age 10ish: the unending world of Warrior Cats that i am for some reason still buying to this day. no really i have over 80 of these things and a new one literally in the mail at this moment please send help

-age 11ish: Chris d'Lacey's Last Dragon Chronicles, specifically Icefire. i saw the cover of that book long before i started reading the series, and i can't explain what it changed in my brain but it made me who i am today. the fact that the story also drew me in the way it did makes it seem like fate

-age 12ish: the Dark is Rising sequence. gotta have some arthurian legend in here. there was more than this but this is a greatest hits kid of post.

i recently got into the clone wars animated series and ive been watching it in timeline order, and while i have only made it halfway through, i want to say i am EXTREMELY enjoying everything you’ve been writing for it. thank you for loving the clones as much as the jedi, and for loving the series as whole-heartedly as you do every one of your fandoms. it comes across in your writing, and that’s what makes it so good. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

oooh yeah you’re probably right! now that u mention it, judging by the butterfly species, it’d make sense if it were somewhere in central or south america. these critters drink caiman tears and other fluids because it’s nutritious for them, apparently.

I’ve learned a neat new trick: “bleeding” bath bombs!

I can do this in blue, green, yellow, orange, or red. More colors will become available once I can find more blooming dye vendors beyond just Mad Micas.

This bath bomb (Bleeding Hearts & Folded Flags) is a United States Memorial Day (May 27) exclusive that I’ve made for some of my May birthday crowd. The blend is predominantly May Chang (Litsea) and Ho Wood, but with subtle after-notes of German Chamomile, Blue Tansy, and Peep.

Note: I’m going to thank my wonderful friend @riverkingdom for this discovery. They asked me in their commission if I could make a color changing bath bomb. I figured out how to do it to adhere to this request and wanted to show everyone just HOW dramatic these crazy things can get.
