season 5 of riverdale is great because it really puts you in a “there’s no way the town’s not winning this one they will never beat the town” mindset then when they start fighting percival in season 6 all together you go wait a second... town loss? and THEN they send them to the 50s in 7 and you’re like wow okay town win in a BIG way they’re never beating the town from the 50s BUT THEN they start acting gay and horny and fully integrated and there’s angel tabitha congratulating them on correcting the moral arc of the universe and narrator jughead has not been coming into work as much and you’re thinking oh yeah sure town loss they beat the fucking town it’s over for the town now (in 1955) right?
