Listening to "God Games" made me happy for a very particular reason. We got to see/hear Ares AND Athena. I adore those too. They would hate me because they're rivals and if they asked who my favorite Greek god or goddess was, I'd just have to say it's a tie between them. Sorry. I just want to give Ares some credit here, though. The guy gets a bad rep because he's viewed as the bad sides of war, but there's the potential of his power being used for good. Sometimes, you have to fight for people's rights. A revolution against a cruel dictator can't happen without that spirit of battle. He might not be the god of winning per se, but there's more complexity to him than just being the god of war in general.

Plus, let's consider the other gods and their...indiscretions. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've tried to research Ares and I haven't seen anything with him forcing himself on anyone. It's terrible that this is such a huge deal, but he deserves an Olympus award for that. Same goes for all the others gods and goddesses who are that way because we have others (*cough* Zeus, Poseidon, Calypso, etc. *cough*) who don't give a single darn about consent.

My only problem with Ares was that I thought he was a cheater. Now, I actually don't really feel that way. To be fair, I still don't condone adultery and if someone's married or in a relationship, they should be off limits...that said, the same logic means that Aphrodite should have been off limits to Hephaestus because she was actually with Ares first. That's why I find it funny how Athena refers to her as "Your lover" when talking to Ares. It's true, though. Sure, they're cheating NOW, but they were actually together until Hephaestus pulled his "Dad, Mom's gonna be trapped in this chair forever unless you give me a pretty wife. Preferably that lady who my brother really likes. :D" Of course, the story changes a lot depending on which version you go to, but I've consistently seen him trap her before she's married to him. So...I feel like those are grounds to annul the marriage.

Anyway, I just like these little war siblings and would love to see more of them in media portrayed positively.

Newcomers to the TEU, here's the rundown:

Tachophobia is the main story created by myself and @boom-fanfic-a-latta. Sonic is kidnapped by Starline and hypnotized into thinking he's just a normal person (Niko) who was having delusions of being Sonic.

Pragmatophobia is an AU offshoot by @estellardreams where Starline then also kidnaps Tails and Amy and hypnotizes them into normal people (Kyle and Camellia). (He later also kidnaps Shadow)

Athazagoraphobia is AU offshoot of THAT by me where Shadow's treatment wasn't interrupted and he's hypnotized into a normal person (Damien).

Heliophobia is and AU offshoot where Starline kidnapped all of the Trauma siblings (Niko, Kyle, Camellia, Damien) at relatively the same time and has to take care of all four mentally ill children.

Chronophobia is a new AU offshoot by @allpainnogain99 where Silver has been kidnapped and is likely soon to succumb to the same fate as the trauma sibs.

All the other AUs haven't been talked about a whole lot as of yet, but we are more than willing to answer questions about them! If you have any questions in general, send them our way!

A Proper Summary on WHO'S THE MOST DANGEROUS TRAUMA SIBLING BECAUSE THE POLL IS GETTING THE QUESTION WRONG.

I hhave a feeling that people are messing up what the question is... When I said "Who's the Most Dangerous Trauma Sibling™?" I meant in their current forms, not if they snapped out of their states on who would be the most vengeful... That answer would've gone to Damien, anyway.

No, I'm going to fix this predicament... By telling EVERYONE who's actually the most dangerous. Starting with the least.

Nikolai Peterson

Do I even need to explain? The small, anxiety riddled hedgehog who can't fend for himself and has too many problems in his mind? You think HE'S the most dangerous? Really?

He can't run, so definitely not Sonic. Agoraphobia literally shows his recovery process, and it did take a while for him to revert close to normal but those traits still remained.

And his anxiety is PROBLEMATIC. That boy can't fight for anything and Starline constantly capitalizes on his weakness. It's... Rather pathetic, really.

There's a lot more to go into but... He's not strong. At all.

Niko is normal. That's the point. He doesn't believe he's Sonic. He's the complete opposite to him in every capacity, too.

Kyle Molina

Kyle is... A unique case. He's a completely blank slate.

I am not exaggerating.

He kept resisting Starline so much that the platypus had to resort to drugging him so much that he couldn't think straight and his memories were buried underneath the fog.

A very thick and deep fog, to be specific.

To summarize who he is now... He is very calm and collected, but still holds an imaginative mindset underneath that silent and stoic exterior.

Kyle is also not the type to get mad. That's very clear. He's more likely to show fear than anger or sadness in general.

He's like... The type who doesn't emote very often. He's generally calm, collected, and keeps his thoughts in order. Starline couldn't wipe his intelligence, but he did wipe his memories, leaving a very intelligent child on his own with no idea why he's even like this in the first place.

"You cannot fly. You do not have two tails."

Kyle was made to believe he was a normal fox. What sets him away from Camellia is that his memories are all gone.

A blank slate can't do anything if it knows nothing was there at all.

Damien Bridges

This one is... Obvious. Damien is borderline insane, and that's been a continuous fact with him. He is just as smart as Kyle, but due to his more unstable mind he's a lot more... Unhinged, so to speak.

Damien is practically the definition of "dying inside" and I am not joking. He's been smiling so much, his pupils have shrunken down, and he's constantly on the verge of a mental breakdown every single day.

Insane laughter is there too. And it can get bad to the point he spirals.

But where this differs is... How Starline handled him versus Amy. We'll get into her next.

Damien has mental restrictions on him, so he'll not snap and be forced to rely on Starline. It's mainly the case of repeated fake flashbacks that Starline helps him through so Damien must rely on him for help and safety from these recurring traumatic experiences.

And if people TRY to take Nox from Agoraphobia into account for the fact that Damien is the most dangerous, KEEP IN MIND he became the major antagonist when he went off his meds and essentially "broke out" of his programming. He doesn't count.

"You are not Shadow the Hedgehog. You are not the Ultimate Lifeform."

Damien is similar to Niko in his treatment in a lot of ways, but his trauma response is completely different in correlation with his new personality. As such, he's on the edge of being erratic, insane, and hard to deal with. The only thing that keeps him in line are his mental restraints.

Camellia Rivera

I had this discussion with Sky so I'll rephrase what I said here: She's the closest to her OG counterpart, and as such the most likely to fight back and grow aggressive towards others. Damien has the disadvantage of mental restraints, Camellia doesn't.

Camellia, in Heliophobia, is the only character who's run away from her family. In other circumstances, like Pragmatophobia, she is the first person to realize she's been manipulated by Starline. The first one to discover the truth. And even her efforts in both Pragmatophobia and Athazagoraphobia don't go unnoticed. She makes an effort to help save others also stuck in this trap (whether it works or not, no idea).

Camellia is also very strong-willed. That energetic, bubbly personality presents her as being a lot more confident and open about herself and her ideals. She might slip into anxious territory occasionally, but she's been very strong entirely through her existence.

"You are not magical. You are normal."

And what happens when you remove the idea of someone being magical but leave their personality untouched? You get Camellia.

And Camellia is absolutely someone you shouldn't get into a fight with.

The ocean is a fickle thing, and so are the deities that control it. From beauty and tranquility to savagery and destruction, the ocean can flip on a dime. Poseidon, God of the Sea, was the one responsible for that. His temper, his disgust for humans, his general distaste for everything that wasn't perfect, was easily seen as a reflection in the water.

They say that the ocean is composed of the Sea Goddess's tears, that she cried every time a life was lost to the ocean tyrant. You knew that Poseidon was dangerous, and that he was a bad man, but you couldn't help but love him. To you, he was kind, considerate, albeit cold most of the time you were in public together, but you couldn't fault him for his personality.

Though being the goddess of the sea, you didn't possess the ability to speak to the animals in your care, but you were able to read minds when thoughts were directed at you. Most of the time it wasn't a very useful power unless you were talking to an angry guppy, but it had its pros.

You resided in Poseidon's deep sea palace. While he took care of the more diplomatic measures, you ensured the safety of the ocean's inhabitants, fauna and flora and the like, including the servants and the nymphs. You hadn't seen much of your husband in recent months, but when you live forever, the human's concept of time is mere seconds for a god. You weren't worried about it, you thought you didn't need to be, but that's when you found him.

A few months ago...

Poseidon had told his wife that he would be in the heavens on official business, and to not worry about him if he was gone for an extensive length of time. This was not unusual for the god, seeing as he might as well have had his own palace in the heavens with how much he was there. If only he was honest about why he was going in the first place.

The nymph that had tempted Hades before he married Persephone, Mynthe, had a sister, Meisha. Meisha was a beauty, kind and intelligent, as well as reserved, any god would have fallen for her, and they did. Meisha had a certain talent, releasing pheromones like a flower to attract her prey; it worked as a sort of aphrodisiac.

When Poseidon met Meisha, it was a few centuries ago, not long after you two were wed. Meisha had a large family. She was Mynthe's half sister, and the rest of her family wasn't Mynthe's problem. She needed to provide for them, but she didn't want to work for it, so what better way to care for her siblings then to live in a fucking palace. Meisha set her eyes on him, and her plan was set. She wanted the most powerful god wrapped around her finger, and she wanted the territory that came with him. She knew that with you in the way, the god would never fall for her on his own, and she wasn't powerful or influential enough to kill a goddess, so you were her main hindrance. She resorted to using her pheromones on the god, a slow, agonizing process for her.

The way Meisha's pheromones worked was that they enhanced her natural appeal and scent, making the victim's vision of her skewed, so she would be viewed as more sexually appealing to her prey, heightening the likelihood of them falling for her. To release the pheromones, it's not like a switch that she can turn on and off, she has to actively push it out of her body, which takes patience and precision, too much at one time and it could kill her.

When she met Poseidon, she started the process, releasing pheromones and flirting with him. Every time she saw him after their initial meeting, she would do the same thing, until Poseidon started seeking her out. Their rendezvous became more frequent, and more heated. Everything was going according to plan.

Poseidon knew something was wrong the moment he met this nymph. Something about her unsettled him. He missed his wife's company, but he found himself unwillingly drawn to her. Meisha was like a parasite in his brain, driving him to do things he would never normally do, like sleep with another woman.

He didn't understand it, to think of his wife, the only being other than himself that he had ever loved, which he would never admit aloud, was becoming revolting to him, while the nymph gained attractiveness and appeal in his eyes. She was everything he wanted, all that he needed. He didn't need his wife, wait, why would he think that? What was his wife's name again? All he knew was that it wasn't Meisha.

Poseidon lost himself in her essence, drowning in his own despair. He felt something was wrong, his subconscious telling him that these feelings were not his own, that he should distance himself at all costs, but his body wouldn't allow him too. Poseidon had never had a high sex drive, but when he was around Meisha, he only thought with his dick.

He couldn't let his wife find out.

Present...

You had missed your husband, but you knew he would return soon. That was until your good friend Aphrodite invited you to her palace to stay, she needed help with something or another. When you read about going to the heavens, all you could think of was surprising Poseidon.

You had packed your things and made your way to the celestial realm. You had gotten settled in at the palace and you had told Aphrodite about going to see your husband. She was ecstatic. She knew about your husband's infidelity and did not want you to be oblivious any longer, she just wanted to be a good friend.

That was when you caught your husband fucking that nymph whore. Shock and dread filled you in that moment, he was so caught up in the deed that he didn't notice the door open, but Meisha did, and she knew just how to break you. She looked you dead in the eye and smirked, and then started moaning louder, encouraging Poseidon's wild thrusts. She started pumping out pheromones, making you sick and making him insane, pumping inside her like he needed it to survive.

What you weren't aware of is that he did. If the prey refused the directed pheromones, they die. That's why Poseidon felt so conflicted, and his subconscious was sending you a message, telling you everything he had learned and everything he felt, and how he had no control.

Your sorrow turned to rage. You tore your husband off Meisha and threw your cloak at him so he could cover up. You broke Meisha's concentration as you grabbed her, and her pheromone spell broke apart, releasing Poseidon. He felt guilt for the first time in his life at that moment. He had hurt the one thing he truly loved in a way that shouldn't be forgiving. He was shell shocked.

You dragged Meisha to the rocky pier overlooking the sea, just outside of the celestial gates. The skies darkened with your approach, swirling clouds and thunder struck, Meisha realized that she underestimated you, forgot that you weren't just the ocean god's housewife, but that you were a god yourself, and that she had fucked with the wrong person.

You walked to the end of the ledge and threw Meisha on the rocky floor.

"Get in the water.." You muttered, your eyes turning from their calm E/C to a glowing red with your rage. Meisha just stared at you, too frightened to move.

"Get in the water." You spoke, still quiet, but this time more commanding. Meisha still didn't move, frozen like a deer in headlights.

"Or I'll raise the tide so high, your little village will all die. Get in the water."

She didn't move, but she spoke.

"Stop this, please."

"Get in the water." You stalked closer to her, grabbing her jaw harshly in your grip, pulling her face towards yours.

"I'll make tidal waves so profound, both your sisters and your brothers will drown."

"NO!" She squealed, getting up in your face.

"THEN GET IN THE WATER!" You shouted, your hair floating as torrential downpour came in waves as the tide did in fact start to rise.

"GET IN THE WATER!" You screamed at her, she flinched back, involuntarily crawling closer to the edge.

"Don't mistake my threats for bluff, you have lived more than enough. Get in the water."

Meisha was sobbing now, screaming in terror as you continued to get closer. She stood up, trying to escape you. She stumbled as she reached the edge, desperately looking behind her before looking back at you, but you were already in front of her. You shoved her off the edge.

"Get in the water."

Drew some Trauma Siblings!

A lot of people headcanon Héctor as being an orphan, since he tells Miguel that he's never been on any ofrenda, and if he'd had parents or siblings or whatever somebody probably would have put him up at some point.

What if Ernesto was an orphan too? And this is how he and Héctor met - they both grew up together in the same orphanage.

The name "de la Cruz" - "of the cross" - certainly sounds like it could be the name of an orphanage, if it was run by a church. Perhaps Héctor's surname was de la Cruz as well, before he married Imelda and took on her name, having no family name of his own. But Ernesto never married, and the de la Cruz name he kept.

So Ernesto becomes famous, and this is part of the reason why he's so beloved - he built himself up from nothing, with no family or friends to help him, except the childhood friend and music partner who mysteriously disappeared very early in his career. It's a rags-to-riches story; Ernesto succeeded with nothing but his own talent. People thought If he can fulfill his dream with nothing, I can too.

Then Ernesto dies. And after everyone in the Department of Family Reunions stops being so excited about Ernesto arriving and asking for his autograph, they run into a bit of a snag.

The whole point of the Department of Family Reunions is to facilitate family reunions. When someone dies, they notify the family to come reunite with their newest member.

Except Ernesto doesn't have any family. He was left at the orphanage as a baby; he doesn't know anyone's name.

Now, they can't have the great Ernesto de la Cruz leaving the Department of Family Reunions alone! Surely they can find some family for him?

Digging through the records, they find that one Héctor Rivera named Ernesto de la Cruz as being "as good as a brother to me" back when he arrived two decades ago, along with his wife and daughter. Since he's the only lead, they notify him.

Héctor arrives at the Department of Family Reunions, happy to see his friend again, and ready to help Ernesto adjust to the Land of the Dead, although he did have a few questions about the songs.

As you can imagine, this meeting was incredibly awkward for Ernesto.
