My first-ever art of Matt from Death Note. I drew myself some panels and freehanded these with a Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen (basically a black felt marker) so there was no erasing. These are from 2008, which makes them, oh, 16 years old as of this posting in 2024.

Pen/ink of the day. This leaky bastard with the oddly curved nib is a constant thorn in my side. I got it from using rewards from our employee appreciation program at work, so it was essentially free. When it writes well, it is amazing. It likes wet inks, and so do I, but this fucker leaks randomly. My hands currently look like a 5 year old who has been unsupervised with a box of markers.
