Location: Moonlight
Open: Devils only
Isaac was walking through the makeshift hospital ER they had working in the main room of the club. He knew Sterling was ok, but Quinn and Skylar were being attended to still. He was barking out orders at whoever was around. He saw a prospect who appeared to be watching a video on his phone and his head almost exploded. “Do you really think now is the fucking e to do that? Get you ass back to assisting. Do whatever the fuck Spencer and Charlie tell you. You hear me?” The edge on his voice was dangerous and venomous. The prospect was smart and didn’t argue. He felt someone come up behind him and he turned around to see who it was. His eyes narrowed and he was ready to snap at whoever it was that decided now was the time to bother him. “Yes?” He said, his tone sharp before he even saw who it was.

There were few things that could force Malcolm into a suit, despite how the loudness all of his suits for such events may make it seem as if he enjoyed wearing them, and that was his friends or the chance to piss of a Devil. That night, he had the distinct pleasure of roving about the venue due to both. Casting a glance over at Payton, who had been the one to truly prompt his attendance that evening, Malcolm took note of those around his best friend. He had to gauge the level of threat his VP was facing as his SoA before letting his eyes take an appreciative sweep over Payton in a well-fitting suit now as the guy who had sucked him off in the back room of the Ace only a few days prior. Pulling his eyes from the other man, Malcolm scanned the rest of the crowd roving about.
The event was tense. Malcolm figured that everyone could feel it, even the civilians who were not quite sure what had truly gone done the past few weeks with the death of the detective and now the fire. Tensions were high and Malc was happy to make them higher. “Smells like smoke and a hell of a lot of pussy ass shit- no doubt there’s a demon nearby.” He drawled out loudly, dark eyes settling on a nearby figure.

It was his first big event out with Owen. He was nervous, but he wasn’t going to let that ruin it. There were a couple of people he didn’t have a chance to talk to before the night and tell them, so this was a big coming out party for him too. The two of them had walked in hand in hand and had even kissed for the camera’s. So if he wasn’t out before, he definitely was now. Owen had been swept away with some people and Liam took the moment to step away and catch his breath. He was staring at the man he loved work the room with people that so obviously adored him when he heard his name. He turned and smiled at them. “Hi.” He said in return smiling at them.

It was safe to say that Benjamin Eddington was in the doghouse with his girlfriend. All he wanted to do was have a nice night, and not talk about topics he knew would ruin the incredible moment of learning they were going to be parents. Of course, life wasn’t that simple when you love a beautiful yet stubborn woman like Emmaline Otterly. He watched her talk to others, in her stunning gown, and all he wanted was to be by her side. Though that wasn’t an option, not while he was in the doghouse. He stood near the bar, and made sure to keep eyes on the woman he valued most important in his life. The last event they attended together also didn’t end well. The last thing he needed was for that to re-occur, especially now knowing how fragile her body was. He finished his drink before placing the glass on the bartop. “Another please,” He ordered.

“Yep, you just focus your phone’s camera here on this and then click the link that pops up at the top! It will take you straight to a page that I curated linking you to several petitions and organizations involving LGBTQ+ legislation, cases, and more that are going on right here in NYC!” Jane was telling anyone who was within a 10-foot radius as she happily moved through the streets of New York, feeling invigorated by the liveliness of the crowd all around her.

Thea pulled at the soft, floating layers of her dress' wide skirts which revealed the lovely array of soft colours that blended together into black, adjusting its rather uncomfortable hem to make it slightly more bearable. In truth the young woman hated events like these, yet she needed to be here in support of Amelia; not to mention that if she wanted the Krongolds to take her interest in the Royals more resolutely, she had to prove that she was willing to play the games. Sighing slightly as she approached the ticket taker, a placating smile found itself curling on the corners of her lips as she passed the paper over to the stranger.
Her emerald eyes scanned the crowd as she moved lackadaisically through the throng of bodies, feeling slightly suffocated and moving towards a random blackjack table. The brunette had never been much of a gambler, yet she'd been challenging so many of her base idiosyncrasies lately that she wasn't sure who she was anymore regardless. Settling into the cushioned chair, her green irises caught the light as they swiveled up to observe the other players of the table she'd just joined. Grinning with her teeth at the others, she nodded in greeting.

Putting on his best face and personality forward, Chris continued the role he was to play for the evening. Their last name would be front and center for the evening, which meant that he needed to do his best and present quite the image for all the guests. Regardless of the closeness, he simply would have to smile and feign being the sociable one.
As a passing waiter carried a tray full of champagne flutes, Chris plucked two glasses, before offering it. ❝Have a drink, please.❞ Holding it out for the other to take, he insisted. ❝The night is young. Do enjoy yourself..❞

Having lost his brother in the crowds, which really just meant he was probably off with Dilan somewhere, Payton found himself eyeing the neon-lit up rides. “How do you feel about Ferris Wheels?” He asked, glimpsing towards the next person who approached him. “I have an extra ticket, and no one to join me.”

It could be said that Domino found the bar quicker than she found her date, but in reality she had respectfully greeted and complimented the male before disappearing to the liquor just as he had to the patio for a smoke break. Now alone, she was more comfortable without him than she thought she’d be. Considering the fact she didn’t go out into crowds often, the night was shaping out quite nicely. She was confidant in the way her dress adorned her, she had the opportunity to ply herself with copious amounts of alcohol, and from the bar she could comfortably survey the most beautiful crowd of poachable leads. She didn’t want to make tonight a work night, though--not unless something or someone gave her reason. So, she willfully remained at that bar with her drink as her only company, savoring each sip like they were rare means to a therapeutic end.
She saw the approaching figure in her peripheral vision but thought nothing of it. At first, she’d counted them as a mere extra of the night’s festivities. Only when she turned mid sip to nod at them politely did she recognize they were there for her.
“Oh, hey.”

Isaac was watching the room as he had been all night, making sure to keep a specific eye on Miguel and Garrett. He had dealt with a few prospects who didn’t know how to handle their liquor. And he was watching one near him that was about to do something really stupid. Isaac followed closely behind him. When the idiot started to reach out to play grab ass with an unexpected female guest, Isaac acted quickly. He grabbed the prospects hand and pulled it around his back. “Apologize to the young woman.” He said to the prospect as he pulled his arm tighter. “But I didn’t-owww.” The prospect protested but Isaac pulled his arm harder. “I’m sorry.” Isaac looked at her as she turned around and realized it was Cami. He let go of the prospects arm and pushed him away. “Sorry to bother you.” He said with every intention of walking away.

open event starter || location: ignition
When Malcolm first woke up, it was the overwhelming but familiar smell of oil and grease that let him know where he was. He remember the pain and the chaos, his gun still wrapped in his hand as he laid out on the venue floor, he remembered voices and him snapping something at some people, before it was all black.
Now, he was in some backroom of Ignition and felt like he had been hit with a truck. He had to make a mental note that getting shot was not a great experience- assuming, of course, that he had been shot. Malcolm was about 95% certain he had been shot, at least.
Forcing his eyes open, he looked blearily around the room, more than aware of the heavy medication that must have been pumped into his body as he focused first on his bandaged shoulder, then his arm, then finally turning his gaze to the person nearest to him and blinking hard. “What happened after?” He grumbled out, voice low and scratchy from disuse. Making to move, his drug-laden mind tried its best to make sense of all that he could remember. “Who’s hurt?” He asked, hearing the chaos in the garage around him but not being able to fully focus on any one thing. “Fucking shit.”

Nyla had only come to this with the intention of watching others and perhaps buttering up both her bosses for one night. Her sparkling white combination had adorned her body with the explicit purpose of standing in one corner of the room the entire night. However, the worst thing she could’ve ever predict happening happened--the people were boring. Completely and utterly boring. She was suffering through the some of the dullest dialogues she’d ever heard whilst eavesdropping on people’s conversations. “Hey, wanna try the slots?” and “Oh wow, you look great!” had begun to haunt her reality and absolutely no one seemed to be hooking up in the bathrooms. She was just about to abort mission when she saw a person approaching her. With her eyes lifting in a capricious manner, she took a small step back on one leg in order to guarantee both her personal space and a swift get away if the person approaching decided to plague her with the same mundane conversation.
“Meh,” she offered when they were close enough to hear. It hadn’t been a greeting as much as it had been a territorial growl. She had to remind herself she was in public and had chosen to be so, therefore it wouldn’t make much sense to bark away any social stimulation.
“I mean... what’s up?”

A SHOT IN THE DARK...
trigger warnings: guns, injury & violence
The balcony extended the length of the ballroom, all were welcomed, and throughout the night, many took their time tracing along the banister. Enjoying the cityscape, and the cool air that caressed along exposed flesh. But as the night turned later, the tension only rose, a catalyst being found in the form of an unexpected woman who fired the first shot.
It took only seconds for the reaction to be determined, the firing shot done by Anastasia Jones echoing across the party and in just mere moments later, another came, This time from Malcolm Alcott, in an attempt to protect what he assumed was a civilian, Sophie. Though his effort occurred seconds too late, due to the bullet that found its way through her arm. Barely a graze but the woman was taken down, and moments later, Malcolm caught one himself in a similar location. It had been Quinn and Skylar in the corner though that reacted next, catching sight of the woman with a gun and where her aim was intended. Quinn side stepped directly in front of the line and caused Quinn to take one in the stomach though not before she shot one across the way into Malcolm's shoulder. As her friend fell, Skylar reached for her gun, but a firing bullet caught her in the side, and she was grounded. Alicia had been making her way towards the two women when she was shot in the back, a clean through, and through, she was still stalled just feet from them. And as Spencer ran to help those injured, the last few bullets caught him in the leg, the shot being fired from Gabriel, though before he could release another round, he was taken down by a shot in the leg as well. While bullets continued from each side, those injured were sunk as the chaos ran rampant.
These event begins at 3:00 pm PST // 6:00 pm EST. But feel free to start plotting now, and figuring out where your character was when the madness begins! Please check below the read more for further details on everything including the starter rule for this plot drop.
A few quick notes to be made. Firstly, this was all done randomly, please not the screenshot below for the selected winners! All those who volunteered were placed in a random generator and decided. Secondly, even if your character was not hurt, please know they still get to join in on the fun. They can either be on the balcony as well, shooting an NPC (playable character), with someone hurt, or maybe in another room altogether. The options are yours!
For those injured, we ask that you keep it realistic. Please note these are all gang members, so they wouldn’t want to get caught talking with the police, or even at the hospitals. So those injured, reach out to other players to decide the best course of action. The Royals will be setting up a make-shift hospital at the Auto Shop ‘Ignition’, while the Devils will have a make shift clinic at Moonlight, where Charlie and Spencer (though he’s hurt) can help patch people. Reach out to medical characters such as Emmaline, Cami, Charlie, Spencer, Emerson, or even use Vanessa (open character). Any other characters are welcome to join at the different locations. For civilians, maybe they followed someone there, or they wanted to make sure a friend was okay. Don’t be afraid to place them at Moonlight or Ignition.
As for post event threads, you are welcome to transition into them! You can do balcony starters or you can do them leaving the event. All during event threads are welcome to keep going. However, any other threads prior to the event, we ask you pause those till Monday. Just to keep confusion out of the way.
Lastly for all those injured, we suggest that you do ONE CLOSED STARTER of their injury at the event. This can be done with one or two other people, and then do a possible OPEN STARTER of the next morning. Maybe they’re still at the clinic, or in bed injured, but something everyone and anyone can reply too. Just so numerous people aren’t helping the same person at the scene of the crime, and timelines get confusing.
We hope everyone is enjoying the madness, and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to message the main!

Jamie enjoyed going to events like these alone. His bachelor lifestyle catered to him arriving without someone on his arm. He didn’t want to be locked into an assumption of who he was with. As he walked into the venue, he could appreciate the decorations, though it wasn’t the first thing on his mind. He wasn’t someone to be dazzled by decoration, he wanted to have a good time that evening, though he also knew that he needed to stay in check. He was well aware that this party was run by the Royals, so he most likely wasn’t going to be as comfortable or wild this time around. After avoiding the paparazzi chasing someone who mattered, he made his way to the bar and ordered himself a beer. After getting to class, he turned his back and leaned against the bar out to the crowd. He looked out and was reminded of the last time he’d been to an event, ending with a black eye.

Since Emilie's recent interest in getting a pet, she wanted to volunteer her time with a Shelter based out of New York City. She’d never owned a pet as an adult, she wanted to spend more time with animals before making that huge decision. She was lucky to have wanted more exposure to pets when the vet was looking for extra volunteers specifically for this state fair. Emilie jumped on the opportunity and now here she was wearing jeans and t-shirt branded with the vet's logo, standing near the many pens of puppies and kittens. She crouched as she played with a few puppies in the pen, she had her eye on one puppy and hoped they wouldn’t be adopted, though that was unlikely. “Hey puppy,” she created with a small smile as their little teeth gnawed on her finger, she was so distracted by the small four-legged animals she hadn’t seen the person come near.
