I had a moment when I went back to League of Legends and actually had fun (especially with Renata Glasc, really cool character and interesting gameplay), but that moment has passed.

Between:

Vanguard anti-cheat being outright malicious spyware with absurd resource usage,

a new mastery system that retroactively fucked my hard-earned challenge token and replaced skill expression with bullshit grinding (minimum 30 games or so on a SINGLE CHAMPION to get from previously top level 7 to new token-awarding 10),

game balance and items pushing more and more into hyperactive zoomer gameplay "who gets to explode the other player in 0.5 sec even if you're playing a tank",

and now Riot revealing a new skin tier equivalent to OVER 500 FUCKING USD,

I am just SUPER done with this game. For good this time. Already uninstalled and cleaned up any residue off my PC. Good fucking riddance. I'll stick with Legends of Runeterra until they inevitably fuck it up too (and it's already going downhill). Oh yeah, and waiting on Arcane S2, but that's an entirely different medium fortunately

Ok ok so apparently they *will* bring in Swain, which means that LeBlanc will probably be there too, and I don't see how they wouldn't bring in the Du Couteaus too. (I don't think this is the blorboism talking).

Hater moment: I just hope they don't decide to focus on Ionia stuff (unless it's about Irelia)

For some reason I'm not really interested in watching Arcane season 2, but I've heard there's content about the Black Rose and more connections to Noxus.

Question for people who watched it and who know some of the general lore: is there anything about or that could indicate they'll bring in Swain and/or LeBlanc into some potential future show?

tbh I also wanna draw them getting into more fluffy silly situations. I have had this animation thought rotting around in my skull with them flying together (that I simply do not have the skill to make right now ;-; ) They are both just goofy teens!!

Not quite sure what you meant by personal headcanons so I’m gonna assume you mean for their relationship. Rito Link isn’t native to the village, he probably moved there at a young teen age. Both him and Revali have had a rocky start; Revali wasn’t the nicest to the outsider kid and Link was a bit of a brat who holds a grudge. Eventually puberty hits and Revali finds his gaze being drawn to the other rito’s dusky gold feathers more than he’d care to admit (and also finds himself acting more a fool than he ever imagined he could). Link finds the whole thing more annoying than anything. He has no real interest in any of the boys in the village and their stupid posturing. It’s only after Revali has some humbling experience (not sure what atm) that Link warms up to the idea of his companionship as a friend.

They immediately become inseparable, one can hardly be found without the other nearby and soon the village jokes start. It makes their friendship weird. Over time (and maybe some secret experimentation on their parts) they admit that perhaps they’re fonder for each other, more than friends.

It was so weird when i was watching you/tu/bers and also tumblr react to the final totk trailer and either like. forgetting who tulin was and just calling him a random rito (mostly the yt/br). or remembering him and being like "oh thats Teba's son! WAIT WHERES TEBA IS HE OKAY SHOW ME TEBA" and like. im worried for him too but i think, like yunobo, hes probably trying to fight back against the monsters and natural(?) disasters near their settlements (malice over death mountain and big tornado over hebra). Like I think during gameplay we'll probably travel to goron city/rito village and help plan where goron/rito fighters will be stationed fighting to keep the monsters at bay. and join them with the whole 'fight battles with all these people!' mechanic. but in summary i think both yunobo and teba are fine (obviously, as shown by the glimpse of the boulder breaker in that one clip). can we please acknowledge how cool tulin looks and how he's grown up instead of pushing him to the side in favor of teba!!!

Linktober 2023 Day 16 - Dragons (Roost Island)

Took a break from the daily drawing grind, plus got alcohol markers, to make this.

Dragons? Nah, Dragon Roost Island. One of the most memorable locations in the series with one of the best songs in the series. I gave some alterations, like actual stairs, a pier, and more palms. What the island would more reasonably be like if it were fully sized.
