I was too tired last night so I’m making my post now. I just want to say how unbelievably proud I am of the cast of The Addams Family at Rise Above Performing Arts! They killed it up there this past week even through mic issues, missing people, costume malfunctions etc. These kids inspire me non-stop. They are so caring and talented, t welcome new people into the Rise Above Family like they’ve known them forever, they work unbelievably hard, and they are constantly striving to be better. Being the choreographer fo Rise Above is one of the highlights of my life. That’s another season in the books. Now onto the regional premiere of School of Rock! Wow. I cannot day enough how grateful I am for Rise Above Performing Arts. I am beyond proud to be their choreographer and board member! This company is my creative outlet and I am honored to get to work with so many kind, thoughtful, and crazy talented kids! This company is always challenging me to grow as a choreographer and this season is certainly going to be a challenge! But I can’t wait to go through it all with my Rise Above family! I will never be able to express just how thankful I am for these two young ladies. They have grown into beautiful people that I could not be more proud of! They are my babies, my mini-mes, and my eyes and ears when I am not at Rise Above. I could not be more glad to have these two little budding performers and choreographers following in my footsteps and I can’t wait to see everything they do with their tremendous talent!
