Rest in peace to the legend and one half of the The Wild Samoans tag team and Roman Reigns and Rosey's father, Sika Anoa’i. Thank you Sika for everything you have done for Wrestling. I am so proud of you and your amazing, talented and badass family. Truly a special and ground-breaking Wrestler. I'm so happy you got to see Roman achieve so much success and have that beautiful moment at WWE Hell In A Cell 2020 with him. I swear wrestling "fans" never fail to make me lose all faith in humanity. Y'all out here making fun of cultural practices, uploading it to YouTube, pretending to be Roman on Facebook to scam money out of people for the funeral, dirt sheets posting the pictures/videos, random ass people sharing the obituary and commenting on the site not in honor of Sika but to talk about how much they miss Roman or Jimmy. I am SO sorry to hear this. I cannot believe what Roman is feeling, what the rest of the Anoa‘i family is feeling. I extend my condolences & send them ALL my love.

Sika was such a legend & incredible & amazing. He had a great life & I’m so grateful that he got to see his son achieve his own greatness bcuz I know it filled him w/ pride to know he raised such an incredible child.

He lived beautifully, but sadly there’d never be a time that we wouldn’t be saying it was too soon. Now he lives in all our hearts.

Honestly…

Like don’t get me wrong I miss him too and would love to see him return but my god, this is about his private life and the death of someone very close to him

Please leave his father’s funeral pictures/video alone and show some respect. He needs support and he needs time.

I feel bad that Roman’s father’s funeral pictures are being broadcast online for everyone to see, even though it’s clear it’s a very private affair.

RadioApple Week Day 6: Dance

An excerpt from DYWTK Chapter 37: Reach

The previous few days had been beyond painful for the radio demon. Boredom was genuinely one of the worst things that could happen to Alastor at any given time, and his number one source of entertainment had taken an unexcused break from his primary position. It didn’t help that he had to sit and watch as the king, his king, paid attention to anyone but him. That was finally over though, and now they could both benefit from a little exercise.

Alastor might have offered the fallen angel a head start in their little game, but he didn’t need it. Once again, the radio demon was awestruck by Lucifer’s aerial abilities. His wings absolutely glowed in the low light, the contrast of the red and white was positively brilliant. The king’s evasive maneuvers were amazing as well, he was almost impossible to catch. Almost.

Alastor’s tentacles went at the king from every direction, and yet he still remained completely untouched. The angel transformed into various animals to avoid being captured, not yet bothering to take any offensive moves. He must’ve been having too much fun zipping around like some kind of flying insect. But in every single one of their sparring matches, he eventually got cocky. The radio demon knew it was only a matter of waiting for an opening.

That opening presented itself when Lucifer decided to taunt Alastor by turning into a large, white and gold spotted sika buck. His golden hooves landed on the ground just long enough for the radio demon to strike, but out of nowhere, the demon’s shadow tripped him. Intentionally. The fucking thing was even smiling.

Alastor didn’t have much time to think about how he was going to rip the thing to shreds though, as his thoughts were abruptly stopped when he landed not on the ground, but in the arms of a familiar archangel. They both froze in place for a moment- Lucifer holding the radio demon the way one would dip their partner in a waltz. The king must’ve had the same thought. He smiled wide and said, “Dearest, may I have this dance?”

In response, Alastor tuned his mental radio to a bit of music, an old Rachmaninoff piece that he quite liked. It was one he and Lucifer had performed together in the hotel’s music room. The fallen angel’s eyes lit up as he recognized the melody and he pulled Alastor back onto his feet.

The two danced a little waltz to the music, and just like fighting, Lucifer was amazingly agile with his wings out. The song started slow and picked up a couple of minutes in, and the king quickened the pace of their dance along with the music. He led the radio demon into twirls and dips and honestly, it was the most exhilarating dance Alastor had ever been a part of. He’d been so bored for days, silently wishing for the king to offer him more than a glance. It reminded him of the frustrating few days leading up to their first deal.

But finally, his angel had remembered where he was meant to be and who he was meant to be with. He was meant to be here, with Alastor, keeping him more entertained than he had ever been before in his long, dull, cold afterlife. Now that his existence had been graced with the affection of the most powerful being in the realm, he simply couldn’t settle for less.
