The Grid gave form to the Sea of Simulation, and the Sea loved the Grid. And so the Sea made what it could, and gave these to the Grid out of love. But the ISOs were not the first gifts it made--first, there must be a prototype. A fraction of the Sea itself. A vanguard, to walk upon the Grid and see what gifts would be worth giving. An Oracle, to speak for the Sea, and to tell It all it had seen.

And then, one day, Tron found the Oracle. Or, more accurately, she found him.

The Sea loved the Grid, and Tron lived to save the Grid, and so the Sea loved Tron. And the Oracle...would never be the same.

Alright, so, recently I had a spontaneous urge to revisit Tron: Legacy, and man, that movie really is somethin’ else. Really impressed by how well it holds up; all the things that annoyed me about it when it first came out were still annoying, but all the things I loved are still so spectacular. And because I am the person I am, of course I still had an old, unfinished fanfic for it that I dug up outta the archives. We certainly don’t need to go into a discussion about the quality or lack thereof of my writing skills 14 years ago, but it seems that Tron and Rinzler and my OC Delphi really had been living in my head rent-free all this time, and damn were they ready to be let out.

So here’s...this. Somehow I managed to write 5k+ words in the past week for these kids, which is practically unheard of for me. And I don’t think these muses are gonna let me stop anytime soon, so hopefully there will be more to come. I know I say this every time, but I genuinely think this is some of my finest writing, and I’m really pleased with it if a little baffled about where it all came from. I hope you like it, too. My beloved Cicero from Skyrim will be getting a story with my personal ongoing Skyrim fanfiction. There will be canon divergence in this, so be wary. There will be an expansion on the world building already set in that universe and it will be very...very long. But its for people who love that kind of thing. Fantasy, smut, angst, and a lot more. ←

Another fanfiction I will be starting very soon is from a fandom that doesn't have a lot of fics, but I loved the universe since....forever. Which is TRON. ←

It will be a Rinzler x Sam Flynn fic.

I dont know if it helps, but have you considered joining a discord server? - to share art, thoughts and such I mean?

I feel like any established servers I've joined, I permanently feel like an odd man out... I've never stayed in any feeling like I'm an outcast & not welcomed there at all x(

Plus, tbh I know quite a few bigger named people even in the Tr.on fandom have me blocked lol so It's uncomfortable considering looking into larger servers, especially since there'll almost for certain be people there who already hate me 👍

I mean, it's worth asking, is anyone interested in setting up a smaller server, whether it's for Tron / Rinzler fans or something else? Sharing ocs & talking about whatever? I could try starting up a server with anyone interested, I've just never done so before lol

hey i totally get the impulse to hide your interests, especially when they’ve been ridiculed by others in the past, and what you choose to do with your art is of course entirely up to you but for what it’s worth, i really like your Tron art, your takes on Rinzler are fun and endearing and I think your OC’s relationship with him is really interesting - god knows Rinzler needs someone good for him in his life. i don’t mean to lecture as a stranger on the internet, but you shouldn’t call yourself or your art or your interests silly or stupid or shameful because they’re none of those things - especially not here on tumblr, your blog is for you and only you and the only thing you should worry about is using it as a space to express yourself and embrace the things that make you happy, not what anyone else might think of it

I feel so pathetic for being plagued so badly by self-doubt & insecurities beyond compare... I've been locked into this self-destructive cycle for as long as I can remember, where I end up getting all weird & stressed out just posting my nonsense & drawings, like my life depended on it for some reason while it obviously does not lolllll

But thank you for your take & for a reminder that this blog is my own place to dump all the things that make me happy... & that I'm not here to cater to an audience, just to express myself & have some fun.
