This is what they wear to sleep!! When the weather gets hot, they might remove their shirts though :3 (Or wear something else entirely. I have no idea!)

...Wow! Estevan is really obsessive. Well, I guess he's always been like that. He learned from the best after all, his mother! Attending the police academy certainly helped with that too. Although if I made him point out every single abnormal thing about the place they're at and the people that are there, this comic would be 20 times longer! So I only focused on one thing... Don't worry, after this, he'll go and investigate chat with all the other party goers!! Everyone will just think he's a really friendly guy XD

Rolando is just Rolando. He doesn't really care about anything, but he'll give into whatever silly game Rina and Cindy want to force upon him and the party goers since they're annoying enough! (Well, they didn't really need to try hard this time, clearly XD) Also, as a side note, Rolando absolutely hates that his hair isn't styled like usual, but I forced him to go like this! Just like I forced them both to be here! And all my other characters!!

Oh my god, this is a little embarrassing, because I roleplayed exactly like this when I was younger with my siblings (minus the youngest)!! Yes, you're getting a slice of my childhood reading this! XD I tried to copy just how quirky everything was...

Cindy (the tall girl) was the OC that I roleplayed as most of the time, while Rina (the short girl) was the OC my older sibling roleplayed as most of the time! In hindsight, I should have included my other siblings' main OCs too. You guys could have seen a 6 foot tall 12 year old!! Oh well... Maybe next time! It's just that eventually it ended up being me and my older sibling mostly roleplaying only, so I didn't think of it.

Cindy and Rina would always go and bother make friends with the characters of whatever new world we created! New world as in new story any of us created (which usually consisted of a very, very vague plot XDD). The main characters of all the stories we created got the privilege of attending pajama parties held by Cindy and Rina! They usually borrowed any one of their friend's castle or mansion for parties!

i like to think im not a hater when it comes to “the opposing ship” but something about s2 rini just irks me

and i don’t mean it like it makes me dislike nini as a character because it genuinely doesn’t, i’ve always liked her character just fine regardless of rini

but more so that i want to throw imaginary tomatoes anytime they had some ‘cute’/‘romantic’ scene together like get off my screen???

i really must’ve missed what had everyone in shambles about rini during s1/2 because even before 1x09 (*when i became a full blown rina shipper) i was watching people irl and the internet freak about how ‘good’ rini was and i was just not seeing it. i was actually the happiest when nini flushed her dress down and said she was done with boys and the first thing i thought was “ok lesbian” bc neither ejnini or rini were doing anything for me. i don’t even like gini now but those were the only edits i was saving before becoming a rina because nini and the boys literally had no chemistry for me idk

(*ik rina had their first real moment in ep 6? but i had assumed they were just going to be an “obstacle ship” for rini so i didn’t let myself get too attached to them but then ricky looked at gina like *that* while she performed, waited for her to get off stage, and said “i wish…” and i fell so hard and have never recovered since).

Surviving Romance Rant (Spoilers)

I know the Author's already said something to the effect of Surviving Romance not really having a strong focus on romance plots, but consider this.

I see comments both for and against Chaerin/Kim falling in love and I can understand why people wouldn't want her to be in a relationship. With all the focus upon how empty Kim's attempts to force love with someone who's ONLY trait as a person is to love her really is, it would be a good message if at the end of it all, she doesn't find someone and is satisfied with having bonded with her classmates.

BUT WHAT IF, Kim DOES end up falling for another person, and this time around, it's a true, healthy romance with mutual understanding from both parties instead of mindless romanticism?

I don't think Mihui should be a romance option since I personally feel that the importance she has in restoring Kim's will to live shouldn't be tied to romantic attraction. I absolutely love her character, but I feel what she does is more meaningful in a platonic light.

Jihyeon however, is somebody Kim's come to know from the ground up. Jihyeon barely gets mentioned in the original novel, so how do they even get close?

They just interact with each other.

Kim gets to have these small moments with Jihyeon like with how she learns of Jihyeon’s music hobby and Jihyeon confidently stating they’ll recover from their injury and become a volleyball player after laughing off Kim’s admission of lying to her. Hell, half of chapters 23 and 80 is just the two of them, talking and enjoying the others company.

They work rather beautifully as an emotionally isolated girl getting along with someone with their own life and identity, but still maintaining that gentleness Kim Huisu so desperately wished for at the start of the story.

Who knows, maybe from that something special could blossom….

(I swear if they become endgame I could just die happy)
