momoko calls her sister by the greatly disliked nickname rimi-chan, but rimika herself goes by mika when talking with friends or strangers on the streets.

despite wearing bear accessories, momoko compares her sister to a snake. this is a reference to the kanji for snake used in rimika’s name.

IT’S OUR LOVELY NPCS !!!

a rather lazy sketch of them that i needed to do, especially in relevance to the secret santa event… we have rimika and her practiced smile, making a good name for herself in a very traditional manner… she has to be trustworthy and nice if she’s going to bail kotabro out of school prison

he’s way too young to go home from school by himself, haha

i set this thing up mostly to introduce his teacher, widely known as mrs. kumano… she’s a very sweet and gentle lady, i think she’s appreciated in her field. her most distinct features would be her flower tie or her headband.

her design was made with the help of my beloved sister!

while she should definitely wear more professional attire, the kids seem to like it. is that the reason for why she is allowed to dress that way?

she’s also kind of naïve to believe rimika’s nice girl facade…

rimika tends to run away from home for a few hours almost daily, avoiding spending time inside in pursuit of independence.

this upsets momoko quite a lot, as she is the one who takes responsibility most of the time. not even her can stop mika once she bolts out of the door.

while rimika and honami’s brother have decent reasons to go around vandalizing things, nobody knows where kotaro’s brother came from as he is clearly too young to understand this type of thing.

he is still allowed to tag along through a variety of excuses.

momoko’s younger sister rimika is an aspiring street artist, wishing to do graffiti! this evolution of her interests concerns her older sibling, especially since rimika would rather go exploring the streets alone on herself, or with her cool friend group — the brothers of honami and kotaro respectively.
