opinion on 2013 Vox? Aka his first ever design?

Cockroach Vox? He's such a little guy, but to be honest, I can't think about shipping him in any romantic way. He gives me the vibe of Vox as a kid rather than a small demon like Baxter or Niffty. Otherwise, what a lad! Love him. ♡ Rillo

He's so goofy looking! I love that some people have interpreted him with more toony powers compared to canon powers. Honestly I feel like 2013 and canon Vox would hate each other and for that reason alone I want to put them in a box together and shake. Such a fun design! - Soul

hey there, i love love love the art in your fics and as an artist myself, i am suuper curious which program/app you use and if you have a special brushset. it’s js so gorgeous and i’ve been wondering this whole time, ty in advance!

Hello hello! Thank you so much for all the love. I use Procreate primarily, and the dry ink brush that comes with the program for lining. I do like experimenting a lot with the different brushes though, so I would highly recommend playing around. I can also recommend any brushes from MaxPacks - super fun to experiment with and all very high quality. All the best!

Is Matthias going to play some sort of role in the sequel to SwM? I just thought that since he was such a big antagonist in the finale of the story, but his appearance was so short, that maybe he might have a bigger role in the sequel? Idk tho, you don't have to answer if it's spoilers 💀

Well, the next comic will be exploring a fullblown transformation with one of those two ;) It's over 20 pages long right now and we're getting some plot in. I'm super excited about it, but the large number of pages is a little scary haha. We both would appreciate plenty of patience before part 1 is released.

I saw someone ask you about merch. I must say, i would srsly buy it if you ever finished any or all your radiostatic fics and selled their printed book copies somewhere. With the illustrations, maybe on some nice paper, these are so good i would love to pay for them however much they would cost!

I don't think I'd ever consider selling my fanfiction, but you're free to print and bind them yourself! Obviously don't sell the binded copies, though.

As for my art, I've certainly sold prints, stickers, etc. in the past so I'm not unfamiliar with the process. I appreciate that some of you want to buy them and I'd be more than happy to make them when there's more demand for it. The best I can offer at this stage are preorders, but they'd have to be a tad pricier to cover shipping and printing (likely) small batches.

I mean, if I do go for it, would y'all want the art I've made for fics (that's super niche, I fear), or more canon radiostatic fanart? Or not fic related, but still human? I do like the idea that human radiostatic would be a little more subtle haha.

Hello! Thank you so much for those kind words! That's a surprisingly difficult question to answer, since my influences have changed several times throughout my growth as an artist. I know Loish is always a fun one that I've been following since I was young. I'd sell my soul to draw like J.C. Leyendecker. I should do some master studies with his work honestly - maybe I will and throw Vox and Alastor in for funsies. A recent influence/inspiration has been sqwdkllr on tumblr (particularly a fanart piece they drew for a radiostatic fic).

Otherwise, I kind of piece together various aspects of different art pieces I like and keep it in my visual library to play around with later. It's hard to pinpoint because of that.

As for my fics, I guess reading other fics and talking to my friends sparks a lot of ideas honestly. I throw a lot of fic ideas around with my beta readers/friends and that helps shape it into something more concrete. I owe them my (fanfiction/writing) life. Without them, I wouldn't have improved as much as I have. Would highly recommend getting beta readers, even if just to brainstorm with.

You're both so talented, from the writing to the art I felt like I was reading a whole published book (which I think maybe you should actually do lmao). Your characterization of Rdsttc is (imo) so spot on and so human sometimes I think my heart just means to explode. Hello hello! Rillo here. Thank you so much for these super kind words! My dirty little secret is I act out what I write out to see if it sounds natural and human as you say haha. I don't think my spark for creating will ever truly die, whether that be original content or, if times are kind, fandom related works. I'm just glad my writing makes people feel things. Joy, sadness, paranoia, etc.
