“You need a ladder to catch the moon” 27”x29” acrylic on board. As an artist the one question I get pretty often is where do you get your inspiration from. I sometimes struggle to come up with an answer. Not so with this painting. We were driving home one night with our incredible granddaughter in the back seat. There was a beautiful full moon out that evening. It seemed to almost be following the car. Riley was watching it the whole way and seemed amazed by the fact that wherever we were she could still see the moon. I asked her if we could catch the moon. She said “ You need a ladder” She never ceases to amaze me.
