The only time his age is established is in the thrid movie. Which is made by whomst? Sunrise

50 years in stasis doesn’t count.

But his mother died ‘a long time ago’ and her grave is dilapidated. Yah, 50 years is sure a long time....

For 7 years, from the beginning of the manga to the third movie, everyone just thought he was 15.

YASHAHIME SPOILERS

Looking back at episode 18 when today's episode came out, I wondered how Sesshomaru felt seeing his other child alive and together with her twin Setsuna. From this episode, we were shown that Sesshomaru is not that bad of a father (again! Like how many more times will be need to be shown that Sess did not abandon his children).

I am hoping Sunrise will wrap up Yashahime well because if they end up in a cliffhanger, I will fly to Japan demand an explanation. I need a whole family reunion and a reunion in general with the OG cast.

Now with Riku and Towa... I am actually not feeling the ship at the moment (sorry RikuxTowa shippers). Maybe in the future when I see more interactions between the two. For now, I am enjoying the sisters' catching up on the time they missed with each other.

I don’t know if you’re keeping up with Trashahime but as a SessKagu shipper I just thought you’d be displeased to know that Riku has been confirmed an incarnation of Kirinmaru’s (from his horn) and yet they’re pushing a potential romance between him and Towa.

Gee I wonder who THAT could parallel? 🙄

All these Kagura references & recycling for the twins and Sunrise even has the audacity to repeat the SessKagu story using Sesshomaru’s own daughter! Are they just mocking SessKagus at this point?

And Sinners like to say Sesshomaru only had pity/compassion for Kagura and feelings never existed between those two —- Well riddle me this Sessrinners, if SessKagu was never a “thing” like you claim, why are they repeating literally the exact same template to use as a romance for one of Sesshomaru’s daughters? 🥴

Well, I think even Sunrise realizes that paralleling their own Sesshōmaru ship by having Sōta marry Towa wouldn't go over well, so they had to go with paralleling the superior Sesshōmaru ship. I can't fault them for that, at least. I can, however, fault them for not making the two people in their parallel SessKagu ship even 1/100 as interesting as Sesshōmaru or Kagura. (And I say this as someone who's not even a fan of Sesshōmaru!)
