Everything was silent other than the gentle sound of falling snow and crunching underfoot as they walked. Izuku and Katsuki hadn't spoken a word since they left UA to head to the cafe.

Katsuki shoved his hands further into the front pocket of his hoodie as he shivered. He found himself regretting not wearing anything beyond it, a pair of jeans and his boots. His Quirk relied on his own sweat, so saying that he wasn't exactly a fan of colder temperatures would be an understatement. The only time he generally tolerated it was to go hiking and mountain climbing.

In contrast, Izuku donned multiple layers, complete with earmuffs and gloves. His breath clouded in front of his face as he addressed Katsuki.

"I told you it was cold out...you should have dressed warmer! Are you sure you'll be alright?"

"I'm fine," Kasuki muttered.

The quiet returned as they continued on their way.

"I feel bad that I asked you to go with me now, I'm sure you're regretting saying yes..." Izuku stopped walking and looked down at his boots.

Katsuki stopped and turned around. "Why would I regret saying yes?"

Izuku's cheeks flushed, which was noticeable despite them already being rosy from the frosty air. "I'm surprised you said yes to me anyway in all honesty."

"Why would I turn down an opportunity to go on a date with you?" Katsuki replied as he stepped closer.

Izuku's face shot back upward again in shock and he realized that Katsuki was now only inches away from him. "Y-you consider this a date, Kacchan?!"

"Isn't it?"

They stared at one another for a moment before Katsuki closed his eyes, leaned in and kissed Izuku. Izuku's eyes were initially wide in stunned surprise, but he eventually closed them. He could feel how warm Katsuki's lips were despite the wintry weather.

Katsuki pulled one of his hands out from his hoodie to place it under Izuku's chin. "That warmed me up, but how about I still get you a hot chocolate?"

Izuku grinned as he threw his arms around Katsuki's neck and pulled him into a hug. Katsuki freed his other arm so that he could encircle Izuku's waist.

"Sounds like a date!" Izuku planted a kiss on Katsuki's cheek before he reached down to grab one of Katsuki's hands. The snow continued to land gently as the two now walked together hand in hand.

"You know Izuku, I don't think I've ever felt as warm as I do right now."

i'm relatively new to bnha and the fandom absolutely terrifies me (i have heard. so many horror stories.), do you have any recommendations for like non toxic big content creators (or small content creators who deserve more attention)?

this is my final post! the past few years have been amazing - thank you for everything <3 (more info below the cut)

I will no longer post on this account and wanted to write a note to explain and say goodbye.

Bnha and the bkdk fandom have been a constant source of joy and excitement in my life since 2018 - you were all so kind and encouraging towards me, and I grew so much in skill and confidence as a result! I’ll really treasure my time in this fandom. I loved experiencing so much incredible fanwork and freaking out over exciting moments from the series with everyone in real time. (I still remember choking on my drink and falling to the ground when I saw the vol.29 cover on my tl omg… it was life changing.)

I went on hiatus last year to reconnect with my passion for making art outside of bkdk and learn what I wanted to create without the influence of external validation. I had time to reflect on how much I was influenced by numbers on social media. I thought they didn’t affect me, but in truth, they completely ruled my artistic judgment and decisions. I found new hobbies, new media, experimented with different mediums and subject matters, and in the end… I rediscovered my joy for making art! 

This year, I gave myself a fresh start instead of returning to this account. This is partly because I really enjoy exploring erotic and transgressive themes and I don’t want to share it on a large account to people who followed me under a different pretense haha. But the main reason is that I wanted to create a space without any expectation for what kind of art I should make based on my previous work (since I know the majority of people follow me because I draw bkdk, and I mainly draw ocs and unrelated fanart now). 

All this to say, I hope we can cross paths in the future, but if that day never comes, thank you for the wonderful memories and support you’ve given me over the years! This fandom has so many incredible people in it and I sincerely wish you all the best. PLUS ULTRA!!!! and farewell! :’3

Sure, but it might depend on what you wanna see? I’ll list a handful (who’re still mainly current/active here) I’ve been following over the years now:

Heavy meta/opinions/critique/Bakugou-centric: gandalftheweeb, punkbakugo

I also follow a lot more individual writers who may post more sporadically, and while in general I prefer the more chill blogs, I also know a handful of active (less chill) accounts who discuss all the leaks/fandom takes/news/etc, so if you wanna be bleeding edge spoiled, then wolfcrunch (Deku-centric, many salty anons warning) might be more your speed.

for full transparency, i’m also going to be taking a break from posting art on social media this year for personal reasons!! i wrote a little more about it on twitter, but i’ll share it here as well:

before i open my store, i want to let you guys know that i'm going to take a long break from posting art on social media (maybe until the end of the year) you guys have given me so much support and encouragement, and i'll always be so grateful for it - you've motivated me to grow and learn so much! i really did have so much fun sharing my work with you all and crying over dkbkdk haha!!

i feel nervous about leaving, because i've used external validation as a motivator for making art since i was 13 or 14! but i also think that's why i need to take a break and rediscover why i like drawing, and what kind of art i would make if no one cared/i wasn't conscious of how it would be received on social media.
