Bonnie nervously checked her phone reflection, still uncertain about her new ginger hairstyle. Despite her nerves, she also felt a surge of confidence as high school was finally behind her. She was ready to embrace new experiences during the upcoming summer while continuing her relationship.

As she entered the mansion, she could hear Klaus moving around in his study. Instead of sharing photos of her new look with him, she decided to surprise him in person. Besides, she knew that her hybrid partner was not particularly tech-savvy.

Bonnie knocked twice on the door before stepping inside. "I'm back! Did you miss me? What are you working on?" She greeted him with a kiss on the cheek and casually leaned on his antique desk, preparing to tell him about her day.

Klaus couldn't help but notice everything about Bonnie's appearance. Her warm skin tone and green eyes seemed to glow even more with her new ginger hair. He couldn't quite tell if her freckles had taken on a different hue under the new hair color. Every aspect of the witch fascinated him, and she never failed to surprise him. She was undeniably beautiful, leaving him momentarily speechless.

"What's wrong?" Bonnie asked, her eyes widening. Then she remembered her recent change. "Oh! You don't like my hair, do you?"

Klaus remained silent, and Bonnie felt her nerves intensify and her palms grow sweaty. "I only meant to get a trim, but I ended up changing the color. You hate it, don't you?"

Klaus pulled Bonnie closer and kissed her passionately. "You look stunning. Your hair complements the color of your eyes."

Bonnie playfully slapped Klaus on the chest. "You had me worried! I thought you were going to tell me it looked terrible."

"I was left speechless. Simply admiring your beauty."

"You're so sappy," Bonnie giggled, planting two more kisses on his cheek. "But you're mine."

Rikki, we’re getting a Bennett witch duo moment at epic cons (Bianca Lawson and Kat!)

I love that as a Bennett witch enthusiast! I went to look it up and share the days for my followers who could be in Atlanta and wanted to attend.

The Bennett witches deserved proper screentime to tell their stories! They created and helped everyone within the supernatural world. But, in this franchise that means nothing because they weren’t white. Not to make this post negative here’s some Bennett witch actresses together. I still petition that Emily should’ve came back in some way. Thanks to Lucy’s actress Natashia Williams she shared some behind the scenes photos from the series finale. Last year at a con Jasmine Guy and Persia White snapped a photo.

Kat and Janina look so cozy here. I wish the show cared to develop Qetsiyah and Bonnie versus the route they went with.

Here’s to more Bennett witch moments in the future. Since Bonnie’s ending is traveling the world I assume she’s looking to her family, her entire bloodline can’t be gone.

Why do you think Klaus would be good for Bonnie?

Klaus is selfish, impulsive, invasive and simply everything Bonnie should stay away from and that makes the dynamic’s potential interesting.

Being with Klaus encourages Bonnie to value her own life. There's nothing selfish about prioritizing your own well-being sometimes. Bonnie is used to putting others first and completely ignoring her own needs. Being with Klaus would be liberating for her.

Bonnie doesn't need to go "dark" but the sudden change in values would convince her friends that she's gone bad. Bonnie has bent her morals just for her loved ones. Why not for herself too? That being said, Bonnie will always care about others. I think Klaus would understand more than others feeling unappreciated by the people you love. That understanding makes them a good pair.

What does Klonnie wear for a Halloween party? Do they do couple costumes?

Glad you asked! I have been headcanoning that Bonnie is a big Percy Jackson fan and that she loves Harry Potter(a trait I stole from Kat). I don’t think Klaus would care for that much for dressing up but he’ll follow suit for Bonnie. Klaus is definitely a Slytherin. Klaus finds this out from Bonnie’s love of roleplaying! Is now a bad time to push Kat as Akasha? I’d think she’d an amazing vampire. Kat has joked a few times her thinks she could play Klaus.

glad there’s a fandom to boost up this ship with! I’m going to take a page out some of my mutuals book and go with Bailey Bass. I can see earthy-themed, cottagecore, old-school, classical and Nordic names for their child.

On to Bailey’s casting she has Kat's heart shaped face and JM's dimples. Kat/Bonnie's brown/green eyes. She’s a good cast. She’s already played a vampire before as Claudia. Here’s some visuals.

Do you think if Bonnie was the one to become pregnant with hope instead of Hayley that Elijah would’ve fell for her? I honestly think it’s possible because how could you not? But It would be so much different especially cause klaus would be in love with her too which would make things more complicated and Bonnie would probably not want to go through what elena went through with the Salvatore’s😭 platonic Elijah and Bonnie would be a cool duo but based on the originals, Bonnie is also his type.

Who wouldn’t fall in love with Bonnie? How can you not fall in love with her! I’m in love right now. Elijah does have a track record of dating women of color too when you consider TO. He doesn't fall in love with them solely for being women of color. This isn't fetishization. He just has a diverse taste in women which is very different from his history with Petrovas.

Elijah has a tendency to betray people when they don’t fit in with his agendas. Elijah has betrayed Bonnie twice. Once after he sought out Bonnie to fight his brother. Then again with Abby’s death. Elijah is to blame along with the Salvatore’s. Exploring that distrust Bonnie had with Elijah would be very interesting in a Klonnie sense. How can she trust him after he’s shown he does not value her the same way the Salvatore’s has done.

Klaus loves knowing that Bonnie doesn't like Elijah. He is fully aware that his brother might yearn for or pine for Bonnie but she would never be interested in someone so two-faced. For as destructive and evil as Klaus is, he's never pretended to be anything but himself. He knows who he is. Elijah masquerades as a noble gentleman. Bonnie naturally gravitates towards a more "sensible" brother (e.g. her early friendship with Stefan), but Elijah lacks the remorse that the Ripper does.

Final thoughts I’ve always found this an interesting parallel whether this was intentional or not because of how undervalued Bonnie is. Bonnie has been wronged by many people including her friends which people do not acknowledge. Yes, the MFG does cause Bonnie pain just as much as the enemies in the show including both of her love interests but Bonnie is just as deserving of being explored. Keep in mind how intertwined the Bennetts are throughout TVDU.

Considering all Kat’s mistreatment and specifically how she was put in unflattering outfits and wasn’t in control of her hair causing damage, how would you restyle Bonnie? With keeping in mind her characteristics or the simply ones Kat worked over time to bring to life, what colours would she choose to wear? Would she opt for clingier clothes or baggier or mixture between the two. (You can ignore the mid 2000’s atrocious fashion). Weaves, braids or natural hair styles? And even what extra curricula’s would she join on her own?

I love being asked this. 2010s era style is truly awful lol. Bonnie will always have soft girl vibes to me and I see her style reflecting that. She's tiny and delicate, but also a very fierce warrior. She's the type to wear short, floral dresses and show off her petite figure. It was strange how conservative they tried to make Bonnie despite being a cheerleader.

On to hair, I really wish she had the chance to experiment. That could mean braids, twists, color or anything else. I don't like to talk about Bonnie's hair sometimes because this fandom can hyperfixate on it and completely ignore all the other racism in TVD. Reading scenes in Bonnie fics where she teaches men centuries or a thousand years old about black hair makes me cringe. She's not the first black girl they've ever met!

For extracurriculars and hobbies, I think of things related to what Bonnie canonically shows interest in. I think she would love flower farming. She is very in touch with nature. We often see Bonnie taking pictures. That fits with her being on the Yearbook club (I was too!) and she's pretty active in attending high school events. Also related to photography, she'd love scrapbooking. We see Bonnie as an artsy girl. She'd love documenting moments with friends and family. Bonnie is also pretty sporty so I can see her doing a triathlon (swimming, biking, running). Bonnie is shown jogging in TVD and she was an avid swimmer as a lifeguard.

If Bonnie created her own coven, how would it be different from the Geminis, Heretics or NOLA covens?

This an interesting question! I think Klaus would encourage Bonnie to have a coven, actually. However, I think he would see them as servants or soldiers like his pack of hybrids. Bonnie would see her coven as a family. Potential coven members should be risk takers like Bonnie. She didn't have training so her magic involves a lot of trial and error testing.

Morals/values that aligned with Bonnie's would be a prominent factor in selecting witches. As much as I’d love a girl-squad for Bonnie, I think she would accept male witches without a coven. She understands what it’s like to be abandoned and belittled, so she'd gravitate towards witches who can relate. I LOVE the Bennett witches, but Bonnie's ancestors didn't treat her very well.

I imagine warlocks would flock to Bonnie and want to be subservient to her. She’s a BENNETT witch from one of the most powerful witch bloodlines. Everyone should want to join her coven. Some would attempt to court Bonnie to gain power in her coven and others are more genuine in their interest. Either way, her suitor Klaus would be very jealous.

Klonnie wedding vibes?

Walk with me. I've done Klonnie wedding content before but this screams their name to me. Bonnie would LOVE a fall wedding. Fall is the time of the harvest and it's so significant to nature. It speaks to her as a witch. They get married in an inn. It's intimate, but packed with friends, family and allies. Lots of green and peach and orange. Picture warm lighting from the candles. It's all very tasteful. They spend their honeymoon glamping (luxury camping). I love this for them.

I thought Ansel did know about Klaus but Esther just told him to stay away? He seemed to know he was his son at the time of his death because he said he was watching over Klaus ever since

After Ansel dies, Klaus breaks his werewolf curse and that's when Ansel starts looking after him. Canonically, Esther suppressed Klaus' wolf to keep her affair a secret. Ansel knew of Klaus but was unaware he was his son. There is no indication that Ansel willingly left his son to be raised by Mikael.

It's also implied that Klaus' inner wolf is what protected him from the wolves that killed Henrik. Possibly, it was the full moon that allowed them to recognize Klaus as one of them. Personally, Esther’s relationships with both Mikael/Ansel was underdeveloped and left plenty of questions. I want to highlight that Klaus werewolf heritage is completely unexplored and I think that purpose was to not overshadow Hayley. Not getting further into that but where was the explanations for that side of Klaus family since he not only tried to make a line of hybrids to fill the void but after a thousand years of wanting his werewolf side that he was deprived from? Where was Klaus werewolf form at all?

All of Ansel’s relatives cannot be dead because how do you explain Cary? Not speaking for everyone but this is why some klonnie fans do think that Hope could have benefitted from a witch Mother to explain Klaus wolf heritage further without the overlapping of supernatural sides.

would antonia gentry work as a klonnie kid?

Antonia doesn’t really look similar to Joseph/Kat for me. She had the freckles like Kat if you’ve seen her without her makeup, and the softness around her cheeks. If I had to pair Antonia as a child of a Bonnie pairing, I believe she would be more fitting with Stefonnie. Paulerina (Paul/Kat) had amazing chemistry at cons/interviews and that bled into a level of protectiveness Stefan had towards Bonnie that was lost in the later seasons. Maybe she'd be a Klonnie kid in a different way.

I can see Klaus adopting Stefonnie's kid when he gets with Bonnie after Stefan's death. I don't think Steroline was even together when Stefan flipped his switch (if they were, let's pretend they weren't). Imagine Bonnie and Human!Stefan have hate sex after he killed Enzo. Stefan still goes on to die, but leaves a pregnant Bonnie behind. I can see Klaus being the father that stepped up. Stefan was his best mate. It makes sense to the Original Hybrid that he takes over father duties. He'd be so happy to take Bonnie to NOLA and tell Hope she's getting a sibling.

Since we're on the subject of Klonnie and their canonical parental dynamics. How would they bond over their parents with each other in your opinion (talking about Mikael/Ansel when it comes to their fathers)?

Also, how would that present itself in how they'd be parents if they were to have children together?

Bonnie and Klaus would bond over how little they actually knew their fathers. Ansel didn't even know Klaus since Esther was hiding his wolf identity. Rudy was always gone so Bonnie doesn't really know him. He's more like a roommate that's always busy than a father.

Bonnie’s direct as is Klaus so I imagine them wanting to have the tough conversation during Bonnie’s pregnancy. Bonnie’s parents all failed her in some way. Grams never told the truth about their heritage, Rudy loves her but struggles with the supernatural side and Abby never tried. Esther loves Klaus in her own way but not more than protecting her lies to stop Mikael from hurting him. Point is, both have been burned by their parents and would want to ensure that they’re on the same page. Their child would deserve unconditional love and should be protected at all costs. I never liked how Hope became everyone’s child or responsibility in canon. I think Bonnie would set that boundary early that at the end of the day their daughter would be at the responsibility of her and Klaus.

It’s said that Kol always had an affinity for witches (romantic or platonic), what do you think their relationship would be like if Bonnie was with Klaus? I don’t expect her to play therapist for anyone, ESPECIALLY that family, but I think Klaus and Kol could bond over her. He could also probably help her with her witchcraft as well.

Klaus had an affinity for witches too word to Joseph. Katherine and Isobel gossiped about his taste in witches. I could see them(Kennett) being great friends longterm, it’s insane they were on the other side together and it is Bonnie who rejected the idea of teaming up. When she previously teamed up with Elijah in the past to fight Klaus. I imagined Kennett having a similar friendship to later seasons Bamon. Hear me out even early seasons Stefonnie. Bonnie never had any real longterm help when it came to magic. She loved to meet other witches like Liv and was bonding well with Nora after they became friends. Bonnie wanted to see Lucy again and have that magical bond with someone. Lucy implied there’s a different feeling when Bennett witches are around each other. That’s so unique.

Everyone in the MFG eventually has some friend outside of the main group but Bonnie. If the originals can be friends with normal people like:Cami, I don’t see why Bonnie is so unacceptable to certain fans. Rebekah and Matt even dated yet Bonnie couldn’t have a friendship with one of them?

Kennett was another ship that was just thrown away for Bonnie in favor of a white woman. I remember seeing headcanons for Kennett as the show aired, only for it to never come to fruition and used for Kolvina’s gain. Julie said Bonnie was too good for Kol(and by extension the other men) but never was Davina, Elena, Caroline or Hayley.

Looking at your last reblog I never peeped Michael Trevino’s eyebrow lift and side gaze at Joseph pushing Klonnie…can you imagine Tyler being forced to be the wingman for Klaus?

Suddenly, I'm feeling creative. I haven't written a drabble or a fic concept in a while. I couldn’t help but try this as a prompt. First, check out my previous ask here (TLDR: Klaus and his inner wolf being thirsty as hell for Bonnie) on the inspo behind this post:

Red Moon, Red Roses

Klaus watches her. His eyes follow her every move. The Bennett witch doesn't know he's there (or does she?), but he makes note of all his observations in his mind. What started his sudden fascination with her? It was Rebekah and a throwaway remark about her friends needing Bonnie more than she needed them. It was true. Without her, they had nothing. With the distance growing between Bonnie and her friends, his world was filled with possibilities. Could he recruit her? Attack her? Charm her? Kill her? Seduce her?

He lies to himself about not knowing what he wants from the girl. His inner wolf was screaming at him. It was the night of the red moon that he crawled himself to her. He fought his wolf, but Klaus couldn't resist the siren's call. Those golden eyes trailed her every move. The girl- The woman wore a long, thin nightgown and gently applied lotion to her body. He could practically smell her skin. Roses.

He knew the truth. Bonnie was his heart's desire. Klaus' wolf wanted nothing more than to knock on her door, but he couldn't. The vampire kept him away. He couldn't do it. He refused to be rejected and be unwanted again. Before leaving, he plucks a flower from her garden (the same one she used to make perfume). He drags himself home and finds himself being questioned by his hybrids in the morning. Where was he? He wouldn't tell them. It wasn't until Tyler suspiciously commented that he smells like Bonnie that Klaus' hopes rise.

Tyler was her friend. They weren't particularly close, but Bonnie cared for him. Klaus remembered her concern when he turned the Lockwood boy. Tyler was not a threat to him as a potential rival for his beloved. However, he could be an asset. Tyler was Klaus' way in. The wolf was his chance to be closer to Bonnie. Tyler would help him willingly or not. The football player reluctantly agrees to assist Klaus in his pursuit of Bonnie. Tyler knew it would be hard to convince Bonnie to give the Original a chance, but he'd do anything to keep Klaus from looking at Caroline.

Watch out, Bonnie. Klaus is coming for your heart.

if bonnie had another actress, who would you pick?

no hate to kat graham, it's just always bugged me a little that a mixed actress is playing a fully black (abby and rudy) character

I don’t think of any other actress but Kat when I see Bonnie. Sorry, that’s just me.

I would even say NONE of the core group on TVD can be recast. Kat put in the work to make Bonnie (as did the other performers in their respective roles) who she was even with the added disadvantage of writers working against her. I believe she is truly irreplaceable. Also, the basis of this question is also inaccurate. Why do you think Abby is fully black? Don't let TVD's atrocious lighting trick you.

Abby probably isn't fully black anyway, since she's played by a biracial actress. We don't ever see Abby's father so why are you assuming she has a different genetic makeup than the actress? Persia is visibly MUCH lighter than Kat. Persia has even told the story of how she didn't even know she was black until adulthood and thought she was white her entire life. You have a problem with a biracial actress playing the child of a biracial woman? What is with the all the questioning of Kat/Bonnie's blackness? I can't tell if it's well intention inquiries or purposefully harmful ignorance.
