hi, this is me ari.
you’ll have seen that i deactivated my accounts, both my main and my personal. i ran away from everything as fast as i could which was cowardly, and i don’t expect forgiveness at all, but this is an attempt at exposing everything. please share with everyone who read the fics and/or interacted with me.
in november 2021, i opened up ufo-ikawa. i had originally started with writing my own works, because i just wanted to write and join a fandom i really liked— then it snowballed. i have always felt my own writing was bad, and could never live up to others so i did what any pathetic person would do. i stole works from people who’s writing i admired and wanted to be like. (i also had another blog onigiri-mia which was deactivated due to death threats i was receiving daily regarding old drama, and stolen works were also posted there). instead of gaining inspiration, and reaching out to the writers themselves for any meaninful conversations on how to learn to write, i stole them, rewrote them and claimed them as my own.
and as i did, i slowly started to believe in everything i was saying or doing. i did it so much i felt like i was performing an act whenever i did and convinced myself that it was right. in real life, i am just a person who wanted attention so bad, to be liked so bad, to be part of something that i did one of the worst things just to gain it. i guess in a way, identity theft, and then plagiarism.
which i know is absolutely wrong of me. i have also reached out to the creators separately and said my apologies, except for nine3rds who i have been unable to message. i can’t make them accept any apologies and i take 100% accountability, and it doesn’t lessen any guilt i have now that the truth is out or all the wrongs i did, but i thought that was the first step.
the second step is owning up to it and cutting through all the bullshit lies i’ve told myself. this year, one of my goals was to achieve something good for myself. idk about you, but i truly do believe in karma. i will of course get it no doubt, because of all the bad i’ve put out, but i’m also hoping that by being honest and righting my wrongs that even if i’m at rock bottom right now, i can still start somehow. not relevant but something i just wanted to say.
i just wanted to apologise to everyone who i’ve talked to here personally or formed close friendships with. it’s hard to believe me, but just know that when we were talking about our lives that was all real and not fake. i am still just a person, a shitty one at that, but those irl experiences and thoughts i talked about were real. I’m genuinely so sorry for deceiving you in some way. i will never interact again, i will stay off of this site for good, and i will also never try to write and post anything again, so i hope u get some peace of mind out of that. i’ve tried to apologise as best as i could to the close friends i made on discord— i have also disabled that account to let them see, and will eventually be deleting it. thank you for talking to me and making me laugh and just listening to me, even if i didn’t deserve it.
if you’re angry at me and resent me, i completely understand and will not try to speak further. i’ve tried my best to explain it all above, but i won’t open my asks because i hope this post explains it all enough. you can say anything you’d like under this post if it helps.
i’ve deactivated my account but i know the fics stay there so please delete any reblogs and unlike any fic. i am genuinely sorry for deceiving everybody for selfish reasons (that absolutely do not excuse anything). i have a lot of work to put into myself to try and fix things, but i hope this is a start.
now for the most imporant part, i wanted to link the original writers’ work. they are all incredible, and if you liked what i stole then of course you will like them even better as the original. please give them the love they rightfully deserve but please also respect their rules on who interacts:
AO3 lovelanguages
AO3 softbeoms
AO3 nine3rds
that’s all i have to say. thank you, and please share.

delicate. | harry styles.
summary: two lonely people find solace in each other for the night and something delicate blossoms from it.
pairing: harry styles x fem!reader
wc: 6.1k
warning(s): fluff and smut (a first attempt at it)
a/n: aaah i’m excited and nervous to post this. i guess it’s considered a Christmas fic because it’s set around that time. i do hope you guys enjoy this! i also wanna wish you all happy holidays! side note, i recently made a ko-fi account, so if you’re able to and like my writing, feel free to donate to it! anyways, enjoy! reblogs/feedbacks are very much appreciated! all my love and stay safe <3 (disclaimer: the gif rightfully belongs to @hampsteadharry )
He pushed through the door of the bar, jazz music filling up his ears as he wandered to get a seat. He sighed as he sat on a bar stool, waiting for someone to attend to him and possibly give him the strongest drink here if he felt like it.
Harry felt tired. He’s been tired and exhausted for a while now. Tired from work. Tired from the glitz and glam. Tired of people getting close to him because of his name and status. Just mentally and physically exhausted. But that’s not to dismiss the fact that he still loves his job. He loves and enjoys making music and seeing his fans - who he declared as the best fans in the world - singing back his songs to him.
Though, there comes a time where he doesn’t enjoy it as much as he thought he should lately. Being a well-known singer, songwriter and actor seemed pretty cool but no one knows how tiring and raining it could be. Always having to prove yourself and explaining yourself because of ridiculous rumours that articles make up. Always ending up hurt when you found out your friends were using you because of how well-known you were.
So, he announced that he’d be taking a break from all that. Of course, there was an uproar from his fans but in the end, they understood and sent him lovely messages about having to keep his mental health his main priority.
So now, here he was, sitting at a bar, trying to drink away his emotions. Perhaps, he would find a girl that he could go home with to fill in the empty space of his bed for the night. His break was quite eye-opening to say the least. Harry realised how alone he felt. He thought it was just all in his head because how could he be lonely even when he still had few of his friends around? But he didn’t know that being alone and still feeling alone were different.
And the irony of it nearly being Christmas, there wasn’t much magic or cheer going around for him at the moment. He’ll have to get his shit together before going back to visit his family for the holidays.
“What can I get ya?” a voice snapped Harry out of his thoughts. A woman stood before him behind the bar, he realised it was one of the bartenders there. She wore a long sleeved black shirt, the sleeves rolled up until her elbows. Her long hair was tied up into a ponytail, strands of hair framing around her face. He thought she was pretty. Beautiful, he would say.
Bartender lady snapped her fingers at his face, knocking him out of his thoughts once again. “Seemed to be far away there. Are you sure you’re good here? In a bar?” She said and she smirked at Harry. He felt the blood rushed to his cheeks, having been caught staring at the pretty bartender lady.
“S-Sorry. A whiskey for now will do,” he said softly. Pretty bartender lady smiled at him and nodded. “Alright, then,” she said, heading off to get his drink.
Harry’s eyes followed her figure, almost like he was entranced by her. He was not sure why he did. Seconds later, she put his drink on a coaster in front of him. “Thanks,” he quietly said as he picked up his drink.
“Don’t mention it. You seemed like you need it,” she said almost knowingly. He chuckled at her words. Well, she got that right. “Yeah, just trying to clear my head a bit,” he shrugged at her.
Pretty bartender lady nodded. “Rough day?” She inquired. Harry raised an eyebrow at her question. He probably thought that she was trying to make a conversation other than cleaning shot glasses. He hesitated a little, thinking she might just be another fan and might spill whatever that comes out of his mouth to the nearest journalist. But then, he remembered that he’s already one drink down to probably getting drunk and his mind won’t really care even if he woke up hungover the next day.
So, he shrugged at her question. “Guess you could say that,” he said as he set down the empty shot glass. “I don’t know. I guess I just have a lot of things in my mind. And drinking does numb my emotions a bit. If that made sense,” he chose to say as he looked at her.
She only giggled at his words. “That sounds quite deep. Should write a song about it,” she joked and for a second, Harry thought she knew about him. Because for once, he’d like to talk to someone who’s unaware of his celebrity status. Someone who’d talked to him with a sense of normalcy. Instead of talking to the famous Harry Styles.
“Maybe I should. And I’ll credit you in it,” he joked. She laughed, throwing her head back as she did. “Oh gosh, I always wanted to be a famous songwriter,” she said dramatically. They both laughed at this. It was weird to Harry, this scene felt so normal, it felt as if he knew her for a while now.
She nodded at his empty glass. “Want another?” She asked. Harry thought about it before asking. “Actually, what’s your favourite drink?” Pretty bartender lady was surprised to say the least, but smiled at Harry. “Why?” He only smiled back. “‘Cause I want another drink. And I want to treat you one too. I’ll even pay for yours, love,”
She blushed at this, not expecting him to be so forward yet sweet. “Cheeky, aren’t you?” She said smiling at him, and she noticed a hint of blush on his cheeks. “My mum always taught me to be a gentleman,” he shrugged,
She chuckled at this. “Fine then. I’ll be right back,” she said, going to get whatever her favourite drink was for Harry. Harry smiled as she walked away. He couldn’t help but feel some sort of liking towards her, but not knowing why. Maybe because she was just a pretty bartender lady.
She returned later with two glasses of her ‘favourite drink’ and set them in front of him. Harry was skeptical to see the strange colour of liquid, raising an eyebrow at her. She only smiled and raised her glass up.
“Bottoms up,” she said as she drank from her glass.
Harry sniffed the drink a bit before thinking he was being silly and drank it. As the sweet taste hit his taste buds, he chuckled as he shook his head. “Apple juice? Really?” He questioned.
She laughed as she took another sip on her drink. “Well, you asked for my favourite drink and I gave it to you,” she said with a smirk in her face. “So, you don’t drink?” he asked curiously. She shrugged at him. “A bit sometimes. Just don’t prefer it unless I wanna get really drunk,” she let out a small laugh. Harry chuckled at her words, finding himself agreeing with her.
Harry noticed how pretty of a smile she had. He didn’t know why a tiny detail like that stuck out to him. He found himself quite intrigued with the pretty bartender lady, which he realised he had been calling her that in his head without knowing her name. He stared into her eyes and found himself hypnotized by them. Suddenly, it seemed like they were the only two people in the room. Okay, stop. She’ll think you’re weird.
It was as if his mind took control over him and he found himself asking her, “When do you get off?” He asked, his eyes widening after realising the words that came out of his mouth.
What the fuck!?, he thought.
She was surprised, her mouth agape as she processed what he had just asked. But she seemed to compose herself quickly. “And why do you wanna know?” She asked nervously.
Harry paused before choosing his next words carefully. “Because you seem really cool to talk too. And I’d like to talk to you more,” he said. He was nibbling on his bottom lip, a habit he had whenever he got nervous. He shrugged before he continued, “It’s nice to have a friend, you know?”
Pretty bartender lady - and Harry swore he’ll get her name soon - nodded at him and smiled. Like she knew what he meant. “I’ll be off at 10,” she said. It was only 30 minutes until then. Harry was initially surprised at this, not thinking whether she would agree to - whatever he wanted to with her later.
He nodded in response. “I’ll, uh, wait for you here, then,” he spoke nervously. She chuckled and took their glasses away so she could clean and attend to the other customers before her boss yelled at her.
As she walked away, Harry called out to her. “Wait!” She turned around, eyes wide when he called her. “Um, what’s your name?” He asked. She smiled as her heart melted at the innocent question.
“It’s Y/N,” she replied.
Harry nodded, a small timid smile appearing on his face. “I’m Harry,” he said.
She smiled and nodded at his short introduction. Now, the pretty guy with forest green eyes had a name she could call him. “I’ll see you later, Harry,” she said as she returned to the back of the bar.
Harry sighed, seeming to be smitten already by her. “Yeah. See you later,” he said softly to himself.
❋
Now, Y/N was no idiot. She knew who Harry Styles was.
She wasn’t like the biggest fan, but she appreciated his music and thought he was a lovely guy in general, according to the fan experiences she read. She didn’t know much about him, other than he was a former member of a very successful boyband and his music was just incredible. Plus, she thought he was pretty handsome.
And when she saw him walking through the doors of the bar, she had to take a double take to make sure her eyes weren’t deceiving her.
She usually took her job quite seriously, she was polite to all customers and made sure they were always satisfied with their drinks or snacks. It was usually because she wanted to get the tips she needed to pay her rent. So, when Harry sat down by the bar, she couldn’t help herself but go to him.
But now, she was supposed to meet him after her shift. Which was strange to her because all she did was being nice to him and making up a conversation. Did he realise that she was pretending to not know him? Was this some sort of mind trick that was playing on her? Though, he mentioned how it was nice to have a friend. Maybe there was something behind that phrase that meant something deeper to him.
It was already 10 PM. Y/N said goodbye to her coworkers as she grabbed her scarf and coat from her locker. Her heart was beating fast because she realised she was about to go on a little rendezvous with Harry Styles, well, that was what she thought.
She wasn’t expecting anything. She honestly thought he might have just left, realising how silly it was to wait for a bartender friend he just made.
But she walked towards the front of the bar and he was still sitting in his seat like he said he would, waiting for her. And she felt like her heart might burst.
❋
Harry didn’t think he’d find himself sitting at a 24-hour diner, eating some waffles with a pretty friend he just met at nearly 11 PM. He was starting to blame that one whiskey drink he asked for earlier as to be honest, he didn’t know what was happening.
When he met Y/N in front of the bar after the shift, he was nervous, shifting on his feet in habit. When Y/N asked him what he had in mind, he froze because he realised he didn’t think this through. All he wanted was to talk to pretty bartender lady Y/N. The rest was all hazy to him. Luckily, Y/N just laughed at this and guided him to her favourite diner.
They both ordered waffles with honey and blueberry toppings, courtesy of Y/N as she said they were the best waffles she ever had. Y/N got herself a chocolate smoothie while Harry just ordered a nice hot tea. It was a nice little meal.
“So, Harry, what brings you here to LA?” Y/N asked him as she munched on her waffles.
Harry sipped on his tea before clearing his throat. “Uh, I live here, mostly for work. But I’m on a break now,” he said, not giving out too much information. “Hmm. But you haven’t lived here long, I assume. Could tell by your accent,” she said knowingly.
He smiled at this. “Yeah? You like my accent, darlin’?” he teased her and pride filled himself as he saw her cheeks flaring up in the colour red. “Quite the flirt, are ya? But yes, your accent is cute,” she said as she ate. “Good to know,” he smiled and winked at her.
Y/N rolled her eyes at him as she blushed. He seemed to be quite the flirt, teasing her and calling her pet names. If it were any other guy, she would’ve just left. She admitted that she might not have the best ways in maintaining a relationship. It was always whether she was too picky or bossy and her insecurities always got the best of her. She was used to feeling of being used for sex and her body even when she wanted to believe they wanted something more out of it. She closed herself off from love for a while now. While everyone said that her time will come, she just ignored them. Her main priority was herself and that was for sure.
But there was something about Harry that was pulling her in. He wasn’t far from what the papers write about him but at the same time, he was. He seemed somewhat closed off as she was. She didn’t want to pry, she’d never do that. It was like he was in this fish tank surrounded by spectators watching his every move. Maybe the life he has had somewhat prevented him from forming a real, honest attachment. Or maybe she was just making this all up.
She sipped on her smoothie, her eyes focused on his. She realised how green his eyes were looking up close. “So, I have a question. And I want you to answer this as truthfully as possible,” she said, propping her head on the palms of her hands. Harry raised an eyebrow at her, chuckling a bit before nodding. “Alright, love. Lay it on me,” he said, leaning back on the booth.
Y/N blushed at the pet name given and cleared her throat. “Why did you want to see me?”
It was silent between them. Harry should’ve known this question would come up. Truthfully, he didn’t know how to answer it, he was never one to make friends with a random person and go on a little rendezvous late at night. He shrugged at this, “Like I told you, it’s nice to have a friend,”
“That couldn’t be all,” Y/N smiled. “You don’t seem like the kind of person to befriend a bartender and go out with her for a late supper the same night,” Harry blushed at this and scratched the back of his ear with his finger. “I don’t know. Maybe I just wanted to be spontaneous a bit,”
Y/N hummed at this, sipping on her drink. Harry’s eyes were trained on her and she somehow found that a bit intimidating. “I got off work just to clear my mind a bit,” he continued. “Sometimes, I’d go out with my friends, I’d meet some girls and spend the night with them, just to feel something. Just to not be alone,” This was the most Harry had opened up to someone in a while.
“But you still feel alone,” Y/N spoke. Harry frowned at this, not quite sure what she meant. “You could be with someone, and still would feel alone. I get that,” she explained.
Harry’s mouth was agape. “Y-Yeah, I guess,” he mumbled out. “Can I ask you something?”
“Go ahead,”
“You really don’t know me, do you?” he asked, cocking his head to the side. She let out a small laugh. “I knew who you were the moment you stepped foot into that bar,” she said. Harry’s eyes widened. All this time, he was glad he thought Y/N didn’t know him but she treated him like any other normal person. But she knew all along.
“That was.. Surprising,” he chuckled as he ran his hands through his curly locks. “But, you didn’t seem to look like y’know me. Treated me like a normal person,” She stifled a laugh. “Well, would you rather I’d treat you like royalty? Curtsey in front of you?” She joked.
Harry laughed at this. “No, no. It was nice. It’s good t’just pretend your life is normal for once,” he nodded at her. “I’m sure you have some friends that treat you like you are just Harry,” she smiled.
Harry only shrugged at this, “A few of them do. When you’re in the industry long enough, you’d know how to tell apart the few people that are honest and real with you and the many who just use you sometimes.” Y/N frowned at this but nodded. While she couldn’t connect to being in the same industry as him, she knew perfectly how it feels like to be used by people you allowed yourself to get close to.
He brought his cup of tea to his lips, realising how cold it was getting. “You want some?” He offered his drink to her. Y/N nodded, taking the cup from him. “You like tea?” She asked.
“I do, but I prefer coffee,” he smiled at this random conversation. “Please tell me you don’t take your coffee black,” Y/N narrowed her eyes at him, as if she was daring him to admit it. Harry smirked and shrugged at her. “Sorry, love. It’s the best way to have coffee,”
“No, it’s not! It’s so bitter!” Y/N exclaimed and laughed at this. “I don’t think this would work out,” she pouted. Harry swore his heart beated a little faster, seeing her lips pout. He wondered how they’d feel against his. “What wouldn’t work out, love?” He smiled at her.
Y/N blushed at this, looking down at her lap before she looked at him again. “Whatever you want this to be,”
They spent their time getting to know each other and by the time it was midnight, Harry ended up paying for their meals, ignoring her protests as he did. Y/N was tempted to wipe off that smug smile off his face. The December air howled as the night went on as the decorative holiday lights lit up the street they walked on. The two walked side by side, their hands brushing against each other’s. If Harry had the guts, he would intertwine their hands together. But he didn’t. Not yet, at least.
“Random question, but do you prefer sunrises and sunsets?” she asked out of the blue. Harry thought for a moment before answering, “M’not sure, actually. Never really paid attention to them all that much.” Y/N nodded at his answer.
“Sometimes I like to wake up early just to see the sunrise,” Y/N spoke. Harry looked at her, raising an eyebrow. “Yeah? You like sunrises?” he asked gently, the cold air making his breath visible to see. “I do. I like sunsets too. But no one ever stops to appreciate the sunrises,” she sighed.
“Maybe it’s because they can’t be bothered to wake up so early,” Harry joked, making her laugh. “Yeah. Well, I do that. My apartment has a nice view of it. It’s nice. The city is just beginning to wake up. The golden glow casted upon it,”
Harry nodded at her. “Is this your way of inviting me over?” He teased. Y/N paused, her cheeks flaming up. It wasn’t her intention, but she might as well have done so. Harry was a nice company to keep and she liked him. She really did like him. “Maybe,” she mumbled.
Harry smiled at her sudden shyness. It was something he liked about her. He really liked her. And he wanted her to take him back to her home, as pathetic as that made him seem.
“Well, lead the way, darlin’,”
Y/N struggled to put her keys into the keyhole of her apartment. Nervous was an understatement for her. She had a really sweet and attractive man waiting behind her and she was about to invite him in. She was almost sweating at the thought and she didn’t know why.
She opened the door, letting the warm air of her small apartment flow through them. Harry found it quite cozy. There were plants placed in different corners of the room, he noticed a record player by the television. There was also an easel standing by it. It was small, unlike his luxurious houses, but homey.
“You paint?” He asked. Y/N blushed at this, she forgot to put away your paint and clean up. In her defense, she didn’t think you would have company tonight. “Yeah, s’just a hobby. And somewhat a side hustle,” she said, taking off her coat and putting in on the couch. Harry did the same, subtly wiping his sweaty palms against his dark jeans.
“Uh, d-do you want something to drink?” she asked nervously. Idiot, you just had drinks. “Or, if y’want, I have some chocolate chip cookies. If you like chocolate chip cookies. I mean, y’don’t have to but-,” Y/N was cut off upon hearing Harry chuckling at her, his expression amused as he listened to her nervous rambling.
“Don’t worry, darlin’. I’m good,” he said, smiling at her. She blushed again at the use of the pet name.
It was silence, the only thing that could be heard was their breathing as they looked at each other. Harry slowly walked over, Y/N’s breath hitched as he did so. She was nervous and she was scared, she hadn’t done this in a long time. His arm settled on her waist and it was the first time he touched her. His eyes, green as ever and filled with lust and passion, were focused on hers. She could feel his breath hitting her face due to the proximity between them.
Y/N gently placed her hands on his chest, feeling it rising up and down as he breathed. His forehead was already pressing against hers, their noses slightly brushing against each other. “Can I kiss you?” Harry finally asked ever so softly. And Y/N couldn’t help but nod her head. “Please,”
His lips crashed into hers, gently at first, but she kissed him harder, making it more passionate. She could hear him moan into the kiss as their tongues battled for dominance. His hands travelled lower to her backside, she moaned aloud as he squeezed them. When they pulled away, they would instantly pull into another kiss again, wanting to be close. Harry lowered his hands further behind her thighs, signaling her to jump so he could hold her tightly against him.
“Y/N, I won’t be able to stop,” he said, gasping for air. Y/N only kissed him again, replying as her lips were against his. “Then, don’t,”
Y/N wasn’t sure how they made it to her room, laying nearly naked on her bed. She just realised how many tattoos he had on his body. She traced over the art scattered over his skin delicately. “Harry,” she whimpered as she felt his hardened length grinding against her core. She could feel her arousal seeping through her underwear. She gasped as he pressed kisses down her neck onto her collarbones, her eyes rolling back when he sucked a sweet spot there. His fingers entangled themselves between hers, squeezing them tightly.
“Harry, please,”
“I got you, baby. Gonna take my time with you,” he said gently as he kissed her forehead.
Y/N could feel her heart beamed at the sweet gesture. She had one-night stands before, but none of them felt as intimate as with Harry. The way he kissed her, held her, it almost felt right. And she wondered if he felt it too.
When they’re fully naked and Harry lined himself against her, he looked at her, as if he was asking if she was still sure of this; if she wanted this; if she wanted him. Her eyes were shining as the moonlight shone through her curtains, her hair sprawled against her pillow. She was beautiful and ethereal. He almost couldn’t believe it.
A nod from her was all it took for him to push himself in, the two moaning in relief as pleasure shot through their bodies. He slowly thrusted, taking his time with her. The feeling of euphoria running through their bodies as they held each other close. Her legs were wrapped around his hips, wanting to keep his warm body close to her. “Harry, faster,” Y/N pleaded.
It was almost like a switch went off his head before Harry spreaded her legs further, thrusting harder and further into her. Moans and groans filled the room and the scent of sex and sweat filled the air. Harry had his head buried into the crook of her neck, breathing hard as he felt the pleasure burning at the bottom of his spine. He was close and he knew she was too from the way she was clenching around him.
“You close, baby?” He breathed out as he looked at her. The bed was creaking with every movement they made. Y/N moaned in ecstasy as she nodded her head, trying to keep her eyes on him. She didn’t want to miss a thing with him.
Harry took her by surprise by pulling out, lifting her up so she sat on his lap. He guided himself into herself, groaning as she welcomed him in her. Y/N moaned loudly as she felt him hit deeper, feeling herself clenching around him. She quickly began to move against him, smiling as she saw Harry shut his eyes in pleasure, murmuring her name. “C-Close, Harry, fuck,” she groaned as she moved faster.
Harry sat up and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer as if it was possible. He thrusted his hips upwards against hers, adding to the euphoric pleasure that was coursing through them. “I know, baby. Fuck, y’feel so good around me,” he moaned out, looking at her with hooded eyes. She wrapped her arms around his neck, their heavy breaths hitting each other’s faces.
It was only a glance into his forest green eyes that triggered her high. She moaned out loud, her body shaking against him, and just the sight of her high triggered Harry’s. He groaned against her neck and cursed a string of profanities under his breath as he kept thrusting his hips into her, prolonging his orgasm. When they calmed down from their highs, they took deep breaths before pressing their lips together. Harry could hear a whimper from the beautiful woman above him. He was delirious with the bliss feeling.
They laid on their sides, admiring each other’s glowing yet sweaty state. Harry closed his eyes and sighed as Y/N brushed her fingers through his hair. “Y’alright?” he murmured to her. She nodded and gave him a shy smile. He thought it was cute of her acting all shy after having done such an intimate and dirty activity with him. He kissed the tip of her nose, smiling as she scrunched it up. “You’re beautiful,” he admitted.
Y/N let out a deep breath. There was no denying the attraction she felt for him. The setting was so intimate, far from what she thought it was going to be. She felt herself opening up to him, something she prevented herself from doing for a long time. She was scared of this, but she liked it at the same time.
“Hold me?” she asked and Harry pulled her against his body without a second to waste. Their breathing was the only sound they paid attention to. Y/N nuzzled her face against the crook of his neck, her finger tracing the tattoos on his chest.
“Are you gonna stay?” she asked softly. She was not expecting anything, but she hoped he did stay.
Harry smiled and pulled her closer. “Only if y’want me to,” he said. Y/N returned the smile, tracing out his lips with her finger, feeling how soft they were.
“I’d like that,”
❋
When Harry woke up, he felt an empty cold space beside him. Confused at first, he sat up slowly, wondering where the pretty woman he liked was. He turned his head and there she was, sitting by her window looking out into the early morning. She was sipping on something from her mug and she was wearing his dark blue T-shirt from the night before. She looked absolutely breathtaking.
“You’re up early,” he said, catching her by surprise at the sound of his voice. She smiled at him and made her way to sit on his lap, putting her mug on the bedside table. “You missed the sunrise.” She ran her fingers through his messy bed hair. He sighed, realising how much he liked her doing that simple yet intimate gesture. “Yeah? Was it pretty?”
“Very,” she sighed as Harry laid his head on his shoulder. He held her tightly in his arms, similar to how he did when they slept. “Well, you’re prettier,” he said, planting kisses up her neck. She realised how deep and raspy his voice sounded in the morning, it sent shivers down her spine. “Well, you’re a charmer,” she murmured.
Harry looked up at her, taking in her morning glow that she was emitting. “Your eyes are really pretty,” Y/N said softly as she admired his forest green eyes. “Yeah? Y’think so?” he said, playfully fluttering his eyes at her. She laughed at this, throwing her head back. Harry thought it was the sweetest sound. She traced the outline of his lips with her index finger, feeling how soft they were under her touch. Harry kept his mouth agape as she did so.
“Can I kiss you?” Y/N whispered. He smiled at her, remembering his exact words from the night before, before nodding. “Please,”
The fluttering in his stomach intensified as their lips met. The thing that clouded Harry’s mind was how soft her lips were and how sweet they tasted. Their kiss almost made him feel dizzy for how much passion there was. When they pulled away, he looked at Y/N with hooded eyes, his breathing was heavy from the blissful sensation he felt. He gently wrapped his arms around her frame and it just felt right.
He pulled her into another kiss, a moan elicited from Y/N that sent blood rushing to his lower region. His hands travelled up his shirt she was wearing and he let out a groan, realising she had nothing underneath it. He felt drunk by her touch, her scent; everything. It was a delicate feeling he felt and he didn’t want to let go of it. He could get used to this, the feeling of her. For once in a long while, he didn’t feel alone anymore.
It was no doubt that Y/N felt the same.
It all just felt right.
❋
The snow was covering the backyard, the trees and bushes were covered in white. Y/N watched as the snow fell while sipping on her hot chocolate. The house was decorated for the special wintery day. The tree was lit up and decorated with many ornaments as well as pictures on it, the presents laying closely below it.
Voices snapped her out of her thoughts, she smiled as she heard footsteps approaching the kitchen. She turned around to see her husband holding up a sleepy little girl in his large muscular arms, the little girl they were blessed with as their daughter. Harry was talking animatedly to Ruby, trying to wake her up in the Christmas spirit.
He gasped and pointed his finger at you. “Look, Rue! It’s mummy! An early bird, isn’t she?” He said to Ruby as he bounced her gently in his arms. You rolled your eyes at his silliness. “Mama,” the little girl reached out to her mother as she rubbed her sleepy eyes. Y/N set her mug on the counter and grabbed lifted little Ruby in her arms. “Morning, Rue baby,” Y/N cooed softly at her, closing her mouth with the back of her hand when she yawned.
“Think she’s a bit tired,” Harry chuckled at them. “Y’think? Who’s the idiot that woke her up early?” Y/N asked sarcastically at her husband. He only lifted his arms up in defense, a smug smile painted on his face. Ruby quietly giggled at her parents. He sipped on a mug of hot chocolate and she narrowed her eyes at her as he leaned back on the counter.
“Are you really drinking my hot chocolate?” Harry paused for a bit before swallowing the warm drink. “I’ll make ya another one, love,” he rubbed the back of his neck. Y/N rolled her eyes at him before chuckling. “You better, Styles.” She felt Ruby shifting in her arms and gently bounced her. “Y’alright, bubs?” She pouted at her daughter.
“Snow,” she said, pointing out the window where the snow was falling. “Yeah, bubs! It’s snowing!” Y/N exclaimed excitedly to her, making Ruby giggle. “Dada, snow!” she exclaimed to her father.
Harry laughed at his daughter’s adorableness. “That’s right, Rue!” He agreed, stroking through her curly hair that she inherited from him. He placed a hand gently on Y/N’s clothed stomach. “And how’s bub number 2 doing?” He asked softly. Y/N smiled, her heart beaming at the gentleness of her husband. “They’re doing great in there,” she said, placing her hand over his above her two-month growing belly.
Harry beamed at this, pressing a gentle kiss on her lips, eliciting a small whimper from her.
“I love you,” he whispered against her lips. Even after all these years, she found his green eyes just as beautiful and hypnotizing.
“I love you, too,” she said and smiled at him as they broke away.
Perhaps, Harry would consider himself lucky that his sad lonely self walked into the bar she previously worked at five years ago. Maybe if he hadn’t opened up to Y/N or went back to her apartment, he wouldn’t be able to have this little family he was blessed with. There was something so delicate and real he felt that night that he wanted to keep. So naturally, they both let their walls down and took a chance on each other. And perhaps because it was nearing Christmas that night, he would think of it as some Christmas miracle.
“Wanna open the presents, Rue?” Y/N asked Ruby as bounced her in her arms. Ruby giggled, not even understanding what her mother said, and nodded. “Yeah? Wanna open presents with mummy and daddy?” Y/N said excitedly as she carried her into the living room. Harry chuckled at the precious sight of them as he followed them.
As they sat down in the living room, he took a moment to just admire his wife and his daughter. Y/N, though wearing one of his Christmas sweaters and sleep shorts, looked just as beautiful and ethereal as she did the night they met. She held little Ruby in her arms, who was busy tearing up the small present in front of her. His wife cheered at their daughter as she took out a little stuffed teddy bear, giggling as she waved it around with her small hands.
Y/N looked up at him and gave him a loving smile as she intertwined her fingers with him. Despite them being in such cold weather, her hands felt warm against his. He admired how they fit perfectly in his. Ruby babbled incoherently to her parents about her gift, in which they nodded like they understood what she said. Harry’s heart warmed up just thinking of how they’ll have another addition to their loving little family soon.
His heart was full of love and happiness. He no longer felt alone. He had everything he wanted in that moment, his growing little family.
Everything was just right.

She
had reblogged something about how we can't be in love if our demons can't dance together before we ever met but
She
met me and took it all back. said something about settling for a motherfucker who won't get out of bed... as if i asked to be thusly afflicted. as if i didn't warn her how hard it is to love me. I'll have times where my body won't find the bed for weeks... won't have need for the rest, it would only distract from my whimsical Purpose and my mind would race ever the more for it. the flipside (Also disclosed) is the counterpart to the Mountaintop of Mania. the dizzying drop and dismal existence of the
Abyss -
of depression. don't settle for a mfer who won't get out of bed. as if i didn't warn her that there will be times i can find no solace anywhere - but feel numb in my cave and will remain there for a time to recoup and recovery.
it was always the
hypocrisy, for me
She called me a bipolar whore - many times - even in front of our daughter. but she gave that pussy up to a bar manager for cash. she sold her body more than once. she fucked my enemies, my friends, and anyone else who would look at her twice.
AND SHE
never apologized when she got diagnosed bipolar. she never saw the irony. didn't even realize she was projecting her rage upon me when she called me that. a bipolar whore.
that good thing that you damaged? that beautiful man who rightfully regrets looking at you twice? the one you happily and QUICKLY submitted to two posts after promising to never submit again? the one whose scraps of love you cling to and who continues to string you along like a dog on a leash? will be fine.
yeah, you exposed him to something horrible without his knowledge or consent.
but you were not special to him. you thought he was going to take you with him? raise your daughter? pathetic.
there is only one man who was blinded enough to not see through you.
to not care about the apathy, disrespect, and disregard for love language.
he was me, but i took off my rose colored glasses. because when you're wearing rose colored glasses...
red flags just look like regular flags.
everyone who knew you previously warned me that you were a snake, like the one you aptly identified yourself with by tattooing on your arm. everyone! but i didn't listen.
rose colored glasses.
i told them all in turn that I didn't believe them to their faces and even so... your traumatic childhood would proclude you from ever even ATTEMPTING to take my daughter from me.
i was wrong.
and i am heartbroken for it.
i believed in you.
you are a disappointment.
those things you wrote about being bad at love and worthy of all the pain and heartbreak?
are true.
i am woefully bitter at this point. i am terrified that I'll lose in any capacity my reason for being.
i cannot wait until your looks fade away... and all that's left of you is your horrid disfigured soul. no one will think you are beautiful, then. no one will even attempt to deceive you for sex.
at least-
they'll stop passing you around the bar scene like an end of night ciggy.
you're used up. diseased. dishonest. distrustful. disdainful. and dishonorable.
yes.
you deserve all this pain.
wallow in it.
you foul beast.
ps... you wrote the post about not putting me on your social media... on... your social media... between an entire Twitter page that has been dedicated to spewing vile poison about me for three years. just call it like it is.
you didn't want people to know what a despicable person you truly are.

*; OOC » I wanted to exclude myself from any kind of drama, but with a lot of drama surfacing on my dash recently I just have too big of a trap to shut. This is not about any person or any incident in particular. This is about the poison that is call out culture.
As it may come to a surprise (or not) I am very much charmed by Heinrich Heine and his poetry/writing as he followed me through my life. (More literally than you can imagine. Moving on.)
There’s a famous sentence Heine wrote. "Dort, wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man am Ende auch Menschen" -- Now I know not everybody speaks German, and I don’t expect you to, so let me translate it for you. You might have heard of it.
"Where they burn books, they will in the end also burn people."
What does this have to do with Call Out Culture, you might ask?
Most of the time I see callouts or hate it is often directed at someone (a person) for something fictional (A book). Call Out Culture largely supports the act of shaming the person and their piece of fiction at the same time. They are trying to burn the people and their books.
Most reasons people have been called out, as far as I have observed over so many years, on Tumblr is closely tied to a fictional character, topic or scenario that someone else does not agree with. This someone else doesn’t have to be just one person. It can be, but it’s not limited to one person. I will continue to refer to that group of people as ‘someone else’ or ‘SE’ as I go along with this. Furthermore, the accused people will be referred to as ‘the shamed’. Just to keep it clear who I am talking about.
Often times, this someone else attacks the shamed for something trivial. Shipping something SE doesn’t like. Roleplaying a character that has been deemed problematic, sometimes rightfully so, roleplaying dark topics or triggering content.
Someone else is not afraid to boldly accuse the shamed and their piece of fiction in any way shape or form that can and will harm them. Why is it, that they do it? Because someone else disagrees with the shamed.
There is however another vital point, and that is key. You are NOT forced to engage with people or fiction that make you uncomfortable. You are free to remove yourself from the situation at any given time. The anonymity we are granted on the internet, that many of us uphold, is a blessing and a curse.
If you disagree with someone, if you see something you do not want to see, you can remove yourself from the situation and prevent contact with that person or the media. Many platforms offer you the option to block people and to blacklist their URLs and tags.
Nobody forces you to follow someone who roleplays topics or themes that upset you. Nobody forces you to have someone who roleplays topics or themes that upset you follow you either.
You are responsible for exposing yourself to the things you see and the people you follow. You are not responsible or entitled to put the shamed into ‘their place’, because most of the time, ‘their place’ is your comfort zone.
The shamed gains nothing by getting groomed to fit into SE’s comfort zone. The disagreeing party that calls out the shamed is doing so to expose the shamed for their wrongdoings that could have oftentimes been prevented by making use of the “block” function Tumblr provides. It is the most efficient way to keep someone else’s and your comfort zone discomfort free.
The shamed gets attacked for their choice of word, character, topic. While the initial problem is the fiction that upsets someone else, they forget that the shamed is a real person that gets hurt in the process of those Callouts or negative commentary.
It is not someone else’s choice what other people are allowed to write. It is, however, someone else’s choice what they themselves want to see and expose themselves to. If they fail to protect themselves taking the measures of un-following, blacklisting, and/or blocking, it is not the shamed to blame for their choice of fiction, it is someone else’s blame.
Someone else is accusing the shamed of inhumane acts based on their choice of fiction. In doing so, they are doing something as inhumane as their claims: They are hurting and upsetting an actual person. For what? Self-proclaimed Justice?
Call Out Culture supports mob-mentality that turns bystanders, that had nothing to do with someone else’s issue, into an opponent to the shamed, a person they haven’t previously interacted with, and by default, everyone that stands by the shamed’s side.
I’m not saying there aren’t justified cases of Callouts. If the shamed themselves has actually done wrong, e.g. purposely deceived, abused, manipulated, or even blackmailed other people, or inflicted physical or mental pain/trauma onto people, they deserve to be put on the spot.
It is important to separate the shamed from their fiction. The fiction can be problematic, but that does not mean the person behind it has to be equally as problematic. What is important is respect. Respect for other people. Respect for their boundaries, their preferences, their triggers, etc.
We are hundreds and thousands of people on this website. We can not expect everyone to know everything about our preferences and triggers. The only person who can keep ourselves save online is each and every one of us individually for themselves.
We are all online. We’re all here. We are not in court. Nobody is entitled to perform the task of bringing others to (self-proclaimed) justice for the fiction they engage in. I want everyone to remember they are not obligated to interact with people that make them uncomfortable. Nobody owes anyone an apology for stepping away from a situation that is attacking their personal comfort.
However, the shamed are often not allowed or able to step away from the situation once they have been called out. They will have too many hateful people to deal with. The only way they are able to step away is to leave Tumblr and maybe other platforms for good.
I want to thank anyone who has made it to the end of this. I’m truly grateful, trust me. I know this is a very long post and lots of people will probably not react to it since the tags I am using are often blacklisted and will hide the post, which is a perfect execution of the point to protect yourself from things you do not want to see.
As of now, June 19th 2020, 1:06 AM, this is my personal statement about why call out culture is problematic itself. People are free to reblog this and share their opinion, thoughts, support, disagreements, everything, regarding the matter and topic of this post. There is just one thing I want to ask of everyone at any time:
Please be considerate towards people. Thank you.

🤣🤣🤣 The gif's!!! I love it so much! 🤣
I cackled so much during this scene lol! Helena’s plan really is evil in a way, but I’m still supporting it. Go with your true love Peter, dear!
Helena's audacity, right? 😏 And it's so second child-energy. 🤭 But she would've done it anyway and so she gave Y/N indirectly what she wanted. And that's all that matters, amirite?
But it also shows reader’s maturity and responsibility so well. Sure, she’s in love with Dean and would love nothing more than to marry him, but she’s also clearly worried about her father, their financials, and their reputation. I truly hope Dean won’t be pissed af over their little scheme 😭
Oh, most definitly! She's the older one, she carries the responsebility. And even though her heart longs for Dean, she wouldn't just make such a decision on her own. There's just too much at stake. Besides, she's also considering Dean and his feelings. More than one person is involved here. And that's the difference between Helena and her.
But no matter how this ends, I’m still blaming Dean slightly for it, too. Have you not clocked Helena’s not that into you?
🤣 He was blinded by love! Or beauty... She stood out to him.
You’d think he at least would talk to her enough before asking her father for her hand in marriage 😂 (Although she may have politely lied and entertained his advances).
Your instincts are not far off here! 👀 Because they did talk beforehand, a lot actually. But Helena simply enchanted him.
And I don’t know a ton about Scottish wedding traditions, but everything about it was so interesting! How they kind of celebrated separately and Dean only later joined her and her general lack of knowledge on that wedding night subject. I really feel for women during that time 😩
Yeah, it's so different, right? Only men celebrated with eachother while the older women gave the newly bride a peptalk for the first night together. Because the men didn't need that. And I read that in some years family members from both sides were present during the consummation of the marriage. 😖😖 I choose NOT to do that.
You did such an amazing job at conveying her confusing emotions during this too 🫶
Aaaww, thank you so much! I really tried my best! 🥰
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me! It's so much fun! 💜💜
Rightfully deceived

Series Masterlist My Masterlist
The day before...
"Please, Y/N! You need to help me out here."
The noise in the castle had become significantly louder after the guests had arrived two hours ago. Dean Winchester only had a few men with him, but that didn't make them any less loud. The wedding preparations were largely complete and soon they would have to go downstairs for the evening's feast.
But Helena didn't want to go down. She didn't even want to go through with the marriage the next morning. The younger woman was holding Y/N's hands like a plea with tears in her eyes and had just revealed her great plan of escaping the gruesome future their father had sold her to. Which were Helenas words, not hers.
Apparently she and the young man she was activly seeing in the last months wanted to elope and get married on their own. Y/N had known that these two were very fond of eachother, but she had never thought that it was that serious. Especially not when you have a man like Dean Winchester on your side that shows interest in you.
"Listen, Y/N... " spoke Helena again and brought her back out of her thoughts. "... there is now way this can go wrong. Noone's going to know until the next morning."
"Helena..."
"He won't see you until late in the night. If he's even able to get up the stairs to your bedroom after the wedding celebration." she tried to reason.
"But eventually he will find out that I'm the wrong bride!"
"But then you're already married!"
Y/N huffed and freed her hands out of her sisters grip. This was ridiculous.
"And you think that will make him soften and forget the fact that he got betrayed?"
Now Helena was a little lost for words. "Well... it's not... really betrayal..."
"Yes, it is, Lena! It is betrayal. And what do you think he will do with the arrangment he made with our father? Have you thought about that?"
Silence filled the room, but Y/N could see that Helena was a little fuming inside. Of course her sister did not think about the consequences of her actions and just wanted to do what she wanted. And as the older one Y/N should just say no. But this was Dean they were talking about. Her heart was a little biased here.
"I'm sorry. Y/N. But I'm not going to marry him. I love Peter and he will come and pick me up tonight."
"What?"
"I will be gone in the morning. And if you really care about me, you will let me go and help me out."
Over this revelation Y/N was just stunned and watched Helena turned around and leave the room.
Now...
They all had to be in the chapel in an hour and Helena had made her promise true. Last evening at the feast she was sitting next to Dean, talking to him and being her usual self. And to everyone else very visible, Dean was only even more fond of her as he already had been. It had broken Y/N's heart to watch the scene. Before they went to bed Y/N again had tried to reason with her, but as she knew her younger sister she remained stubborn.
"Where is your sister, Y/N?" her father came over and asked. "She needs to dress and her maid is nowhere to be found."
A little panic rose in her chest. As soon as she was awake, Y/N had looked for Helena, but she was really gone. If she was honest, she could not entirely blame her for going after her heart. She knew how it felt to be in love. It just had been the worst moment to do so. And now, she was running out of time.
"Just... sent Millicent to her. She can help her getting dressed."
Millicent was her own maid and once she was in Helenas room she would understand. Y/N made a decision then and there. After her father left again she ran as fast as she could over to her sisters room and hid in there, waiting for Millie. The dress and veil was already laying on the bed and her heart squeezed a little upon that sight. A knock on the door made her hide behind the screen before she asked who was outside. Whe she heared the voice of her maid she released a relieved sigh.
"Come in and close the door behind you." Y/N said and waited before she came back out from behind the screen.
"Mylady? What..."
"Let noone else enter the room until I'm fully dressed in the gown."
Whilst Millicent's eyes widened in surprise, Y/N already tried to get out of her own dress. After a few seconds of struggleling her maid rushed forward to help her.
"But why are you putting on the dress that belongs to your sister?"
With a small huff Y/N turned to her maid. In the safe space of an empty room with only them two alone in it, they could drop the formal speech and behave freely like the friends they had become over the years.
"She's gone. My sister's gone, Millie."
"What?" came Millie's shocked response. "When?"
Y/N finally stepped into the wedding dress and pulled it up her body over her shoulders. It was a beautiful dress. Red and gold. Expensive. Heavy. And she fitted barely into it. Not only was she a little shorter than her sister, Helena had always been the skinnier one of the two.
"Last night. She didn't want to marry Dean and ran away."
"With this Peter guy?"
"Yeah..."
Millie began to close the dress up on the back and Y/N started to think again. This would only be a temporary fix for the current situation. The calm before the storm.
"So... what is the plan?" the maid asked into the silence.
"Get through the day. Marry Dean... and hope he doesn't completely freak out tomorrow."
Millicent came back around, flatening the fabric on her shoulders before reaching for the veil. The two women looked at eachother for a moment and Y/N knew that her friend understood her internal struggle. She was the only one Y/N had told that she was in love with Dean and it dawned on both that this was going to be a big deal.
A sudden knock on the door startled them and Millie hurried to get the veil over Y/N's head just in time, before the door opened. Her father was stepping in to see if the bride to be was finally ready.
"Oh Helena... you look so beautiful." he smiled and looked so proud. Y/N' stomache started to turn.
"Thanks." she whispered and tried to mimic her sisters lighter voice.
"Well. it's time to go. Your husband is waiting!" he exclaimed excited and left the room again, totaly oblivious to the tension that had build up with every passing second.
Once the women were alone again, Y/N closed her eyes under the veil and took some deep breaths. But when she felt the veil lift a little she opned them back up again and saw Millicent look at her worried.
"Are you ready?" the woman asked quietly.
"No."
Dean's hands were warm. His smile was gentle and he looked really happy. And just for a second Y/N thought it was because of her. Looking up into his smiling face made her heart burst with love for this man who had no idea that he was getting betrayed right at this moment. And just like that the guilt sat in, making her feel bad for doing this in an instant.
"I do." she heard him say with his rich, dark voice before he turned his head back again to the woman by his side.
Now it was her turn to say it. The pastor was already finished with his speech and everyone was waiting for her to answer. She looked back into the room full of people she loved and cared about. Her father already beckoning her to say something with his eyes. She turned her head back to Dean and tears started to sting her eyes.
If he only would've looked at her more than once. If he only would've tried to get to know her too. Maybe he would've fallen in love with her as well. She was not like Helena. Not so pretty and skinny and beautiful. She knew that. But Y/N had always tried to engage in the conversations with him. To make him notice her, see her too. However, it never really worked the way she wished for. But at least for this moment, no matter how short it would be, she wanted to try and make him happy. She wanted to be the woman by his side.
"I do."
Dean felt good. Really good. He was married to a woman that he was truly fond of. She was younger, sure, but that did not seem to bother her too. And now, they could officially be together. To that he had to smile. He reached for his cup and drank a big sip of the whiskey, whilst he looked around the room.
The celebration of his wedding were only midway through, but Helena had already excused herself. She seemed to be a little nervous and obviously wanted to get a little alone time with the other women. He could not blame her. This night would be special, for both of them. Eventhough he already knew what was coming.
"You got a pretty big smile on there, brother."
At that Dean had to chuckle. His younger brother Sam sat down in the empty chair nex to his and sported a smug smile on his face.
"I'm married, Sammy. I've been waiting for this a little while."
"Yeah, but at home were women too that would've married you on the spot."
Dean did not need to ask who he meant. They both knew Sam was talking about Cassie.
"But I always wanted Helena. And now she's my wife."
They both cheered with eachother. Everyone was in a good mood.
"Are you happy?" Sam asked after a couple of moments and Dean turned back to his brother.
"Yes. Yes, I am."
Within the next hour the music got a little louder and people drank more and more. It was an exuberant evening. And even though Dean tried not to drink too much alcohol himself, he couldn't hold back because of the good mood. Sam stayed by his side the entire time and a few other of his men joined them to drink and celebrate. It was fun, but he still noticed something.
"Have you seen Y/N?"
Upon that question Sam let his gaze roam over the other participants, but he too could not see her.
"No. Why?"
"I don't know. It's just... I have not seen her all day."
"Okay... so what?" Sam asked. "She's probably busy with other things. She'll have to say goodbye to her sister tomorrow and she's surely with Helena right now." To that Dean nodded his head. "Just like her maid."
"Her maid?" now it was Dean's turn to look at his brother a little surprised. "You mean Millicent?"
"Urm... yeah... if... if that's her name." Sam answered and cleared his throat.
"Ooohh, Sammy! Do you like her?" Dean grined.
"No! Just... shut up." he protested, but the slight red tinge on his cheeks told otherwise.
Dean laughed and kept quiet. But only for a moment.
"Technically she would be older than you."
"Dean, I swear!"
"Okay, okay!"
The older Winchester held his hands up in defeat, but he could not stop the smile on his face. His brother was never a good liar.
Y/N had left the celebration shortly after the food was served. Her nerves had gotten the best of her. She was sweating under the veil and with Dean so close to her she had a really hard time not to give away that it was her and not Helena. But her husband had fun and she did not wanted to ruin it for him.
When she arrived at the new bedroom, Millicent was already there and had prepared a bath for her. The roaring fire in the fireplace had heated up the room nicely. Winter was starting to come around and the nights got colder and colder.
After getting out of the heavy wedding dress and sliding into the hot bath she felt like she could breath again. Millicent stayed with her until she was ready to fall face first into the bed and just sleep the day away. Which seemed to work, but not for long.
It was already late at night and the fire was out long ago, when Y/N heared the door opening to the now shared room. Heavy footsteps followed and she started to hold her breath. To her luck she was laying with her face to the door, away from the window. If she was honest to herself, she had hoped she would be left alone tonight. That Dean maybe would drink so much that he fell asleep in the dining hall. But it seems she was out of luck here.
He stumbled through the room, hitting his foot once or twice on the side of the bed. It was pretty cloudy so there was not much moonlight to illuminate the room. He kicked off his boots and it sounded like he sat down in the armchair near the window.
"Urgh... 'shouldn't have the last drink..." Dean slurred which was followed by a smacking sound.
The next thing she heard was fabric falling to the ground. That was it, right? Now it would happen. Her heart started to beat faster and when she felt the bed dip next to her, she tried to stay as still as possible. After a few seconds the room fell silent again. Only when she started to hear light snoring from behind her, she allowed herself to relax again and drift back to sleep.
The next thing that startled her awake was the warm feeling on her back. It had gotten cold in the room, it was still dark outside and she tried to lean in more into the warm feeling. The heavy arm that was laying over her middle hiked up a little higher, pressing her more to the warm chest.
Upon that realization Y/N opened abruptly her eyes, her heart starting to pick up speed again. But she was not the only one who was awake now. Dean started to kiss softly along her neckline and down to her shoulder. His lips touched her light as a feather and still it set her skin on fire. Then his scent hit her nose. He smelled like wood, whiskey and something warm.
What was she supposed to do now? Noone had really talked to her about every detail with this. What was expected from her and what she had to do. Dean's hands began slowly to explore her body. Careful and gentle. But as soon as his warm hand touched her bare leg she could not hold back a soft moan. His hands felt rough and a little calloused but still his touches were soft.
Dean layed one of his legs over hears so that she had to turn on her back. A little nervous again she did not look into his face. Yes, it was dark, but somehow she feared he would recognize her anyways. With soft fingertips on her cheek Dean turned her face towards him and touched her nose with his, before his lips landed on hers. This feeling was new and almost overwhelming.
On reflex she pressed her hands on his chest only to feel that he was not wearing any clothes. A thrill went through her veins and she let her hands wander over his firm, strong chest. Dean groaned softly and deepened the kiss. Surprised by his actions she opened her lips a little and the man waisted no time to let his tounge slip into her mouth. The only thing she could do was mimic his actions and it felt so good. She did not know if she was doing it right and if, Dean did not let it show.
Now Dean got more adventurous. He rolled on top of her, cageing her in with his arms and nestled between her legs. Y/N could feel something hard against her thigh and there was only one explanation what it could be. It made her feel funny between her legs and somehow it scared her a little. She broke from the kiss, taking deep breaths in and Dean seemed to sense the small change in her.
"Don't worry, sweetheart. I'll be gentle. I promise."
Y/N did not really know what he meant by that and before she could really think about it, one of his hands made their way down between her legs. Oh god, he was about to feel that something was going on there. She tried to close er legs but it was nearly impossible with him laying in between and holding her legs apart with his own.
Another moan left her lips when his fingers touched her sex, massaging her heated core and rubbing soft circles over a certain point that made her feel even better. She began to buckle her hips a little and Dean hummed satisfied before he kissed her again.
His hand picked up speed and she started to feel something build up deep withhin her. She felt one of his fingers enter her but it did not hurt. It only intensified this feeling that had her thriving underneath him now.
"That's it. Yeah, let me feel you."
Dean whispered in her ear and then she couldn't hold it anymore. The sensation was just to much to handle, her moans had become louder and louder and it felt like a hot liquid poured through her body and made her shake, before she collapsed. Her chest was heaving and for a moment she did not understand what had happend just now.
Dean kissed down her jaw to her collarbone and sucked the skin into his mouth. Slowly she came down from this high, but her husband did not stop just there. His lips sucking in her skin distraced her enough before she felt the pressure against her entrance. This was it. This was consummating the marriage.
"Take a deep breath for me." and she did as Dean told her.
With one calculated thrust of his hips he was deep insight her. There was a small sting of pain that did not fade away so fast, but the pressure inside her was the one thing that she really had to get used to. Dean held still, his hands were stroking softly through her hair and when he felt her relax again, he started to move.
Slow at first, so that she had time to adjust to him but that did not take long. He picked up his pace and with every move it started to feel good again. The pain turned into something more and then the coil and pressure in her middle was there again. Now Dean moaned louder as well and she held onto his shoulders.
Just when Y/N thought she could not handle it anymore, she felt Dean's movements get a little out of rhythm and his breathing got heavier. And with his last poweful thrust he took her with him over the edge again while he spilled his hot seed deep insight her with a groan. His forehead landed on her shoulder and Y/N stroked a hand through his hair. Dean kissed her again slow and sloppy, before he rolled down from her and layed on his back.
The slight disappointment that settle in on her upon losing the skin to skin contact with the man she loved, did not surprise her. This was not how she had imagined it, it was better. It was to much and not enough at the same time. So she tried to relish in this bliss that she felt and turned on her sight to face him.
Exhaustion was pulling on her and it got harder and harder to stay awake. Eventually she gave in and closed her eyes with the feeling of an heavy arm on her hip that pulled her close again.
When she woke up the next morning she felt good. Tired and a little sore, but good. The sun was already high up and provided a little warmth. She opened her eyes and saw Dean's face first. He was still laying on his side and supported his head on his hand, looking down at her.
She smiled and was ready to greet him, when the memories flooded back into her conciousness. Her eyes widened in shock as she heard him talk.
"And who do we have here?"
A/N: It all went well until... it didn't. 🙈 The cat's out. What will happen next? Let me know what you think. Feedback is very much appreciated! 💜

Anyway, wonderful job! If you have room, would I be able to be on the tag list for the series? Have a wonderful day!
Hello lovely! 😊
Thank you so much again. I've just answered your reblog and I'm happy that it was exciting for you! 💜

I was furious with Dean in this chapter. Wanted to whack him with a spoon for real 🤣
Other people wanted to do that too. 🤣 Maybe it would've helped with the troubles ahead. 🤭
I love the development of their relationship 🥹
Yeah, always a few steps forward and then back again. That will stay with us for quite some time. 👀
God, I will have to yell at you soon for whatever you’re stirring up here, won’t I? 😂
I could say 'no' now, but you already did, so... 🤣 And you'll probably gonna yell some more. 🙈
I feel so incredibly bad for her!!
Yeah, she goes through a lot. But she's not willing to give up that easily. And even I was rooting for her to leave his sorry ass at one point. 🤫🤣
And to your questions: I think you got the answers already, right? 🤔 But let me just say that Cassie always wanted more than Dean did. Not a good constellation. 🤭🤭

The weather was starting to get colder day by day now. Winter was fast approaching and Y/N could feel it. She was standing infront of the castle, the only home she had ever known, and watched Dean's men getting ready to leave.
The carts were already loaded and the horses saddled. Her belongings were also already stowed away. At least the things she could take with her. All that was missing was her own horse, Arrow, a young stayer she had hand-raised. This way she could at least take a little piece of home with her.
She tried not to stay in anyone's way, but the men from the Winchester Clan did not seem to be bothered by her. And eventhough it felt like time was running in slow motion, they were ready to leave faster than she liked. Dean was still not around, but his brother Sam was. He smiled nicely at her whenever their eyes meet and that made Y/N feel a little better. After the horses were harnessed, Sam came over to her.
"Are you okay?" he asked and touched her shoulder lightly.
"Well... I'm better than I thought I'd be." she answered honestly, but before Sam could reply, Dean joined them.
"Are we ready?" he did not sound so happy.
"Yeah, we're all set." Benny said from one of the carts.
"Alright. Let's go." Dean replied and a few seconds later he sat on his horse and was holding out his hand towards Y/N.
She looked at him in surprise. What was he indicating? Did he want her to sit with him on his horse?
"I... I will ride on my own horse." but as she was looking at Arrow she saw that Millie was already sitting in the saddle.
"Your maid will ride it with the rest of your belongings." Dean said and was still holding out his hand.
"Then... I... can walk. It's not a problem. "
"Yeah, you could. But our trip will already take a day by horse." which meant it would take even longer by foot. "And the nights are getting cold."
He sounded neutral, but Y/N saw in Dean's eyes that he was starting to get annoyed. She really didn't want to make it more difficult or complicated, but she could also imagine that he wanted to have as little as possible to do with her.
"Well... maybe I can sit on a cart..."
"Oh for god's sake." Dean grumbled under his breath and hopped off his horse.
Before Y/N could react in any way, Dean was at her side tugging on her arm. And within seconds he picked her up and sat her down on his horse. As if she would've weighed nothing. She squealed upon that action while Dean sat up again right behind her. He reached around her and picked up the reins again with both hands.
"Everybody move! I wanne be home before midnight." Dean called out and the travel company set off.
Y/N looked back over her shoulder and some tears started to burn her eyes. She had had a lot of lovely goodbyes including big hugs and warm words. A lot of people from her clan wished her well. Only her father did not say much except some warnings words to not embarass him.
The trip back to Dean's castle was quiet and without any disturbance. They stopped once for ten minutes to eat something and to go to the bathroom. But now they've been on their way again for several hours. The day was starting to dim down slowly and Dean was sure that Y/N's back and hips must've started to hurt a little by now. But they moved faster than expected and would therefore be home earlier than planned.
He was thinking about another stop, when he felt the woman infront of him leaning a little more into his chest. And when her head fell onto his shoulder he looked down on her to see that she had fallen asleep. Her face was relaxed and her chest rose and fell evenly.
Dean started to smile and his heart began to beat a little faster, but that didn't hold very long. This was not Helena. He had to keep remembering himself, that this was the wrong woman in his arms. Pictures from last night reappeared in his mind and he frowned. Eventhough this was Y/N, why did this feel so right?
When Y/N awoke the next time, the horse she was sitting on had stopped in his tracks. She felt Dean's strong chest on her back and his arms that surrounded her to hold the reins. It was warm and comfortable, eventhough her butt and thighs hurt a little.
"We are here." Dean said quietly into her ear.
And so she looked around. The day had already moved into the blue hour, but it was still bright enough to see everything. They stood infront of the castle. A big castle. At least three times bigger than her's. Dean had already gotten off his horse while men started to surround them and helped unpacking their things. There were so many people here.
With a look back over her shoulder Y/N was trying to find Millicent and when she spotted her, she saw that her friend had gotten help from Dean's brother Sam. The woman had a slight smile on her face and it warmed her heart a little.
"Are you able to come down?" asked Dean and Y/N turned her head to him.
She wanted to say 'yes', but somehow her voice did not work and so she just nodded her head. The only problem was that her legs felt stiff and Y/N was unsure if she could get down safely and with a little bit of grace. She swung her leg a little clumsily to the other side and almost lost her footing. But Dean was there to help right away and grabbed Y/N by her waist to lift her down.
When she felt solid ground under her feet again, she looked up at Dean and thanked him with a small, relieved smile. However, he didn't smile back and then Y/N noticed that they were standing quite close together. She felt the tight grip his hands had on her waist, felt the warmth radiating from his chest, and for the briefest of moments she felt the urge to rise up on her tiptoes and kiss him. But Dean abruptly let go of her and turned his back to her, untying the bags on his saddle.
"DEAN!" screamed a female voice full of joy and him and Y/N were turning their heads towards the voice.
A young, darksinned woman ran towards them and smiled brightly. She ran to Dean and embraced him tightly. Y/N took a step back, feeling a little awkward and almost as an intruder to this scene infront of her. Dean did not embrace her back, but he didn't push her back either.
"Cassie." was all he said, before slowly peeling himself free from her arms.
"I did not think you would be back today. I thought you'd come home tomorrow or in two days." she said with excitement.
Y/N furrowed her brows and a weird feeling settled in her gut. These two seemed a little to familiar with each other and she couldn't help but wonder what their relationship was.
"It all went down faster than I thought..." Dean said and gave Y/N a quick glance which Cassie followed. "... and I just wanted to be home again."
"Oh! Then you must be Helena, right?" Cassie walked over to Y/N, but before she could answer Dean already spoke for her.
"No. That's Y/N. Her sister." he explained rather emotionless.
Now Cassie looked confused and Y/N felt a little irritated by Dean's tone. It had been his decision to take her with him, right? She had not demaned anything from him, nor had she insisted on comming with him and take her place as his wife. So there was no reason for him to be like that.
"Oh, really?" Cassie turned around to Dean again. "Where is Helena?"
"Not here." Dean replied and swung a bag over his shoulder. "I married Y/N."
And with that he left the two women alone and made his way into the castle.
Since then a whole month had passed and Y/N still felt like she did not really belong here. She felt alone in these big walls and missed her home and her Clan. She visited Arrow a lot and the horse was always happy to see her. Being in the box with him had something so familiar for her, it mended her heart everytime. Millie could tell that she was not quite happy and tried to spend as much time with her as she could. Now, the women could be more open about their friendship. Y/N was the new lady after all.
But Millie was still fulfilling her duties and everytime she was alone on her way, Sam seemed to join her. They talked a lot whenever they could and Millie seemed to be more happy here than Y/N was. The maid always smiled and her cheeks blushed a little when Sam smiled down on her. Y/N was happy for her friend. Sam was a good guy and they were really sweet together. Dean on the other hand...
In the first week he showed her around, but it felt more like he had to instead of he wanted to. They slept in the same room, but he barely talked to her. So, whenever they were in the same room, Y/N started to talk. She could not stand the weird silence between them and eventhough he did not respond to her words, he did not flee the room either. And somehow she took that as a positive sign. Maybe, just maybe, if he got to know her more, his heart would melt a little and his anger about the situation could fade away. At least that was what she hoped.
But after the first week he went on a short business trip. Dean had been gone for five days and that gave Y/N time to get to know the daily routine in the castle better. At one point she would need to start to take over the responsebility for the castle and the Clan. She was married to Dean. It gave her that power.
It did not take long before she met the woman who was in charge the whole time. Her name was Ellen and she basically managed the castle. Her daughter Jo helped her with the tasks and they made a pretty good team. These two were the first ones who had really welcomed Y/N here and started to bring her in right away.
After two days Y/N felt as if they were already friends. Jo was a few years younger than her, but neither of them could tell that. She was funny, clever and beautiful. A few men of the Clan seemed to flirt with her and she knew how to handle them. Y/N was really impressed by that. For her that would've never been an option.
Ellen was rather strict, but she had a big heart and only good intentions. Everyone knew that you should not mess with her, especially since she cooked for the whole castle. But everyone respected her and in truth they all liked her. She was almost like a mother and that made Y/N's heart hurt a little. Since her own mother had been gone for so long by now, that the picture the woman had in her mind, slowly started to fade away.
"Yeah, and that's how we handle the dinners." explained Ellen while she cooked the lamp stew on the big stove.
"But... that's a pretty big pot. Isn't he heavy?" Y/N asked.
Ellen had said, that only the women would serve the food. Carrying out the pots, pans and plates.
"It is pretty heavy. So four of us will carry it. It's the same when we eat suckling pig. But that's not all the time."
And still, in Y/N's ears it did not make sense. There were a lot of strong men here that could carry the heavy things alone or in groups of two. It would be easier for everyone. But to that Ellen had only one thing to say.
"That's how we did it in all those years and Dean probably never wanted to change that."
But only half an hour later Y/N's point got proven when four women came into the dining hall with the heavy pot and one of them lost her footing on the stairs up from the kitchen. The other three lost their balance too and half of the stew spilled over the floor.
Ellen exchanged a knowing look with Y/N after both women rushed to their aid. In the end the men were the only ones who got to taste the stew and everyone else had to eat the side dishes. It was still enough for all, but it was a shame about the delicious meat. And that was not everything that could use improvement.
When Dean came back from his first business trip Y/N tried to talk to him. But Y/N felt like he did not even listened to her. He was focused on his papers that were lying on the table near the window in their bedroom. He did not even look up to her, only grumbled. She had never felt so lost, standing in the middle of the room and not even being noticed by her now husband. Two days later he went on the next business trip and it made her only fell worse.
Everyone else in the castle was really nice to her. She tried to be as polite and friendly as she could, wanting to show them that she was interested in the people of her new Clan and the way they lived their life here. And it seemed as if the others responded well to that. Slowly they welcomed her more and more and became more open to her. At least that was some consolation.
The only one she didn't really seem to warm up to was Cassie. The young woman seemed to be clearly avoiding her and Y/N wasn't entirely sure why. She had a feeling that Cassie really liked Dean and she knew from Millie that the young woman would have liked to marry Dean. That's what Sam had said. But Y/N hadn't expected the whole situation to end like this either and that's why she didn't think the behavior was entirely fair to her.
But while Cassie was too focused on Dean, Y/N realized that there was someone who probably really liked Cassie. It was a blonde Scottish man named Alex, maybe a year older than Cassie, and he always tried to be near her and help Cassie. But she didn't appreciate his advances. On the contrary, she seemed rather annoyed by him. And somehow Y/N recognized herself in the situation. So at some point she took advantage of the opportunity and tried to have a conversation with Alex.
"You really like her, don't you?" Y/N asked with a gentle smile on her face.
"Who? Cassie?" Alex looked kinda embarassed.
Y/N nodded. "Yeah, I do." Alex admitted after a moment.
"Did you tell her?"
"What? NO!" he looked down on the ground and Y/N could feel that he was not feeling comfortable right now. "I mean... she likes Dean."
"Yeah... I've noticed." now Y/N was not felling so comfortable with that topic.
"Don't worry about her behavior. It's not because of you." Alex explained.
That was the moment when Y/N realized that the rather shy and quiet boy noticed more than one would think.
"Then what is it about?" Y/N wanted to know.
"It's because he was supposed to marry Helena. And then... he came back with another woman."
Which meant that she was angry, that the other woman was someone else and not Cassie. And again Y/N was asking herself if it still had been a good idea to actually come here.
A/N: It could've been better, right? Dean's not really there and now we have Cassie also. 🫣 🫣 Let me know what you think. Feedback is very much appreciated! 💜

Oh, how the drama is unfolding!
And you're still at the beginning!
I honestly understand Dean completely. He really was duped by the sisters. (Also imagine the gender roles were reversed and what a shitstorm that would be for a man lol)
True! They played him. No wonder he's angry. 🤷🏼♀️ But oh my god! Let's not talk about reversed roles here! 🙈
But those two lines hit haaaaard:
"... the damage is already done."
"She's the wrong woman."
I audibly gasped 💀
You'll probably gasp some more in the next chapters. 🙈
And her father is a dick...
Yes, he is! And that's way he remains nameless. 😎
God, I’m so curious to see what happens next! My heart is in my throat, Jess!!!
I'm so glad you like my little story so far, girl! I really appreciate it! 💜

"What the devil are you doing?" Y/N's father was not amused.
He was fuming. Next to him stood Dean, dressed halfway decently and both were looking in her direction. Y/N on the other hand was sitting infront of the newly lit fireplace, the thin blanket wraped around her frame, her hair loose around her shoulders.
When she woke up and Dean had finally catched up on what had happened to him, he got up in upset, had put on his kilt and shirt and ran out of the room. Y/N needed a few seconds to react and when she heared footsteps coming back, she too got up with the blanket to hide her naked body, awaiting what was about to come. But before Dean was back, Millie had come in to look after her friend.
"Is everything okay?" she asked with a whisper.
"I don't know yet..." answered Y/N just as silent.
Then they heared her father approaching loudly speaking and Millie started the fire again before she got ushered back out of the room. A worrisome look on her face.
"This is unbelievable! What were you thinking?"
Looking down on the floor, Y/N did not know what to answer to that. No matter what she would say, it would hurt someone.
"Where is your sister, Y/N? She was supposed to be in here. Not you!"
Yeah, she knew that. She was not the woman Dean wanted. That was crystal clear to her, but it still hurt to hear it again.
"I asked you a question!"
"She's gone." Y/N said with a small voice.
"What? To where?"
With a quick look to both men she saw the bewildered look on their faces. Dean crossed his arms infront of his chest and her father had put his hands on his hips. She had to tell them the truth. It was inevitable.
"She ran away... the night before last. She... didn't want to marry Dean."
Silence followed to that revelation and Y/N turned her gaze away again. She didn't want to look at Dean and see the disappointment and anger in his eyes. Her father huffed and cursed under his breath.
"This girl..." he turned around and paced a little through the room, before realizing something. "Wait..."
With a stern look he turned back at his daughter. "Did you know about this all along?"
"No!" Now she had to look up, but regretted it right away. "I only found out about it myself the day before yesterday."
Dean uncurled his arms again in disbelieve. "And you did not think about trying to stop her?"
"Of course I tried to stop her! But she's stubborn. And... she asked for my help."
Y/N could not keep eye contact with her now husband. The reproachful look he gave her was almost unbearable for her. What did he think of her now? Was the obvious already bad impression he had of Y/N anyway even worse now?
"And you just did that?" Her father exclaimed.
"She would've left anyway, no matter what I said or did to her. What else was I supposed to do?" The woman now looked at both men again, only with honesty in her eyes. "I'm the older one. I need to take care of her."
That strung an all to familiar cord insight of Dean. He was the older one, too. A burden he knew all to well. Y/N turned her head away again and he softened slightly. The way she sat there, slumped over on the small stool in front of the fire, she seemed fragile. His brows furrowed.
The blanket she had slung around her body loosened a little on her right shoulder and gave him a good look on the hickey he had sucked on her skin last night. His mark that claimed her as his. Well, not Y/N, it was supposed to be Helena. He averted his gaze and looked over at the bed where he saw another evidence.
He cleared his throat. "I need breakfast. I can't think well on an empty stomach. Besides..." Dean paused and the man next to him gave him a questioningly look. "... the damage is already done."
Upon his words Y/N saw how Dean nodded over to the bed, before he left the room. Her father also seemed to notice what he meant and left the bedroom only seconds later with a shake of his head. Curious, she stood up and tried to see for herself what the men were talking about.
It took her a moment, but then she saw it. A few small red drops of blood could be seen on the white sheet. Her cheeks blushed in an instant. Oh god, this made it all just worse.
This was unbelievable. He had been betrayed. Dean stormed down the stairs through the dining hall to get out and get some fresh air. With a short look to the side he saw his brother Sam who looked back at him questioningly. But Dean did not stop in his tracks, he just kept going.
After a couple of minutes he stopped infront of the staples. His anger slowly faded and his brain started really to catch up on what had happened. He was married. To the wrong bride. Because the woman he actually wanted to marry had run away the day before. Helena ran away from him.
"What's going on? What happened?"
Sam had catched up to his brother and started to worry about him. Dean should be the luckiest man on earth right now, but he sensed right away that something was wrong.
"Helena is gone."
"What?" Asked Sam. "When? I mean... she was there yesterday. How..."
"No, she was not." Interrupted Dean his younger brother. "She eloped the night before the wedding."
"Are... are you serious?"
"Do I look like I'm kidding?" Dean asked in all seriousness.
"But you married yesterday."
"Yeah, Y/N." He dropped the bombe. "I married Y/N."
To that revelation Sam's eyes widened and he looked stunned. Yeah, even Dean's smart brother could not understand what was going on.
"No, wait... there has to be a reason for all this... right?"
"Yeah, and that reason being that she didn't want to marry me, Sam." And Sam saw the hurt behind Dean's eyes. "Helena just didn't want to marry me. And I thought..."
Dean had to turn around and grip the fence infront of him. Was this a bad dream? And why did he not notice anything sooner? At least last night he should've noticed something. He ran his hand over his face.
He really shouldn't have had the last drink. When he stumbled into the bedroom last night he did not even think about consummating the marriage with his new wife. All he wanted to do was climb into the warm bed and sleep.
When he woke up again in the early morning hours the room had gotten cold. He needed a big gulp of water. After his thirst was quenched, he climbed back into bed, but his side had gotten cold too. So the only right decision for him, was to slide over to his wife. There it was nicely warm and comfortable.
The only problem was that falling back to sleep became difficult. The closer Dean layed behind his woman, the more he picked up her scent. She smelled like amber and vanilla and something spicey. It was almost intoxicating, a smell he hadn't expected. Which should have been the first warning sign.
But when she slowly started to push back into his chest, he got more brave. Her skin felt soft and smooth, her curves a little more full. Which should have been the second warning sign. However, the more she gave in to his touch and started exploring herself, his brain stopped working. Her body molded to his like they were made for each other and it had felt so good. He simple didn't want to stop.
"No, Dean. There has to be a missunderstanding. I mean... what did Y/N say to this?" interrupted Sam Dean in his thoughts.
"She knew it. She knew it was happening and did not do anything against it." and again the older Winchester got angry. "They tricked me, Sam."
"No. No, Dean." Sam layed his hand on his brothers shoulder. "I'm sure there is more to this. There has to be."
Dean huffed. If that was true, then why did noone say anything before the wedding ceremony? Why did noone try to do damage control in the first place?
When Dean woke up this morning and looked right into the sleeping face of Y/N he was confused. Did he walk into the wrong door last night? So, he looked around the room but by observing his surroundings he recognized that he was in the right room. His bags were laying on the ground near the armchair and Helena's wedding dress hung over the screen by the door. That irritated him. Then why was Y/N next to him in bed and not Helena?
Only moments later Y/N startled awake and smiled at him warm before her brain catched up on the situation, too. Her expression changed quickly into shock and to his question she did not answer. Which finally upset Dean and made him spring into action. Something had just felt wrong.
"This is not what I have agreed on. This was supposed to be going down differently." Dean said and shook his brothers hand off of his shoulder.
Concern grew in Sam. "But it is what it is now... right?"
Dean tunred around to face Sam. "She's the wrong woman."
"But... but you're married to her now, Dean. You're not going to... step back on that... do you?"
But Dean did not answer right away.
"What... what are you planning to do? You can't leaver her here in disgrace."
"This was not the deal, Sam." said Dean as he slowly made his way back to the castle. "I can't do this." was the last thing he said to his brother before he completely turned around and walked back.
"I'm assuming you already consummated the marriage, right?" Sam called after him.
To that Dean stopped in his tracks and almost looked back to Sam over his shoulder, but only for a few seconds. Then, with a shake of his head, he kept on walking. He had made up his mind.
"I really can not understand why you thought this was a good idea. To step into your sister's place." Y/N's father kept lecturing her still.
She had made it down to the dining hall. Fully dressed, but without any hunger. As soon as she came through the door, heads had been turning in her direction and conversations quiet down. Great, they all seemed to know what had happened. Y/N lowered her head and quickly found her seat at the table. Millie was right by her side, but it did not take long before her father showed up, too.
"We'll be lucky if he doesn't withdraw his offer." Her father was trying to whisper, but Y/N didn't need to look around to see that he was not.
"I'm sorry." She answered. "I was just trying to do the right thing."
"But you are not the right woman!" He exclaimed before he took a deep breath in. "You girls always meant nothing more than trouble."
The doors opened again and Dean stepped back in. She saw him approach the table with a stern look on his face. But her father hadn't noticed yet.
"We wouldn't be in this situation now if your mother had given birth to at least one boy."
The room fell silent as Dean came to a halt a few steps infront of the table. Now Y/N's father noticed him too and he stood a little straighter than before. But Y/N could not look up at him. It was enough for her to hear her misery unfolding. She did not need to see it in his eyes.
"Pack our bags, guys." And then he came two steps closer to Y/N and her father. "Millicent, you should pack her things, too."
Upon hearing those words Y/N had to look up at Dean in surprise. The look on his face was still stern and he spoke the next words in all seriousness while looking at Y/N now.
"We're leaving in an hour."
A/N: Someone had a change of heart here. It's a very difficult situation. 🫣 Let me know what you think. Feedback is very much appreciated! 💜

The snort I let out at that cute sorry was so loud you probably heard it all the way over to your side 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 I told you I normally don't do such long chapters. 🙈
And again, I feel so awful for reader. I feel like Arrow is the only friend she truly has 😭💔 (No offense to Millie, but she’s had her head up Sam’s ass most of the time lol)
Also says a lot what damage Dean’s words truly did to her if she’d rather freeze to death and hide in a pile of hay 😅
Yeah, this was her breaking point. She’s strong and can take a lot, but even for her there comes a point where it's just enough. And she obviously did not plan to freeze to death. 😂 Y/N just needed a moment for herself. To think about everything and get her head straight. Unfortunately, things turned out differently.
Dear Lord! Finally he catches on!
Oh yeah 😏 He's finally at a point where he can accept the situation he's in. It's not what he had hoped for, but it's also not that bad either.
My money’s on her horrible father then!
Interesting! You will soon find out if you're right with that. 🤭
Awww, this made me so happy! He’s coming around to her and fully falling in love. I’m glad they’re finally moving forward together 🥹💕
Totally! It was long overdue and all that she deserved! Now we can only hope that it will stay that way! 👀
Rightfully deceived

Running down the stairs Y/N saw Millie standing at the bottom who called after her, but she could not stop. She told her that she needed a minute and kept running out of the castle. She did not care about the looks from the others as she ran towards the staples. But she did not stop there.
Benny called after her, Sam too who stood next to him, but Y/N gave them no reaction. After she left the stable behind her, she just kept running. Up the next hill as far as her feet would take her and until the castle was no longer visible. Y/N first stopped again at a small group of trees where she could hide inside. She needed time to think and just wanted to be alone. At least for a little while.
Here, her tears could fall freely and her heart could break. Another crack breaking the smooth red surface. She just didn't know what to do anymore. Dean wasn't on her side. No, he preferred another woman. And of course she understood his anger, but it had been over two months now. He should slowly get used to it or at least try to understand her side. It wasn't easy for Y/N either.
The fact that she loved Dean didn't make it any easier. His distance and that cold shoulder hit her hard. It could be so easy, if only he saw her as more than the woman who had robbed him of his happiness. He didn't mention Helena anymore, but sometimes she had the feeling that he looked at her and saw her sister's face.
Maybe she should just walk away, pack her things and disappear. Unfortunately it wasn't that easy. She had no money of her own and there was no question of her taking Dean's money. And she couldn't and didn't want to go back to her father. She missed her clan and the life she was used to for so long, but she actually wanted to start over here with Dean. She loved him and that was the problem. Deep down, she just couldn't leave him. She was hopelessly lost.
A cool wind rushed through the branches and leaves, swirling the fabric of her dress. If only she had grabbed a coat. She found a moss-covered spot near the roots of a large tree, where she sat down and leaned her back against the trunk. She wasn't ready to go back yet.
Dean had just stared after Y/N before the anger caused him to sweep his desk empty with his arm and knock any objects onto the floor. He took a few deep breaths before took to his heels and ran after her. At the bottom of the stairs, Millie was standing exactly as he had left her before.
"Where is she?" he asked and Millie pointed a finger to the door.
"She went out."
So Dean made his way towards the entrance of his castle, but Millie hold him back.
"Dean, wait!" she lightly grabbed his arm to stop him. "Don't go after her. At least not right now."
"What?" his brows furrowed. "But I need to talk to her."
"I know her, Dean, believe me. She was so upset... give her some time to calm down. No matter what you said to her now, she would take it the wrong way."
"I... I don't like that. I should talk to her right now. There was a misunderstanding that needs to be cleared up."
And by that he meant the last sentence that slipped out of his mouth. He shouldn't have said that and he had to clarify that. But he also had to clarify other things. Y/N's words had made him think and he had realized that his behavior towards her simply wasn't fair. However, he had been staying away from her for different reasons than she probably assumed.
"What happened up there?" MIllie asked.
Just as Dean was about to tell him about the package, the door opened and Benny and Sam walked in. So the two men were also brought up to date and then Dean expressed Y/N's suspicion that it was Cassie. Sam and Benny exchanged a look that didn't go unnoticed by Dean and Millie looked down so as not to reveal that she knew about this assumption.
"What? You already knew about it?" he asked incredulously.
"Dean..." Sam started. "Cassie always wanted to marry you."
"So what? That's her motive? She knew that I was going to marry someone else."
"Yeah, but she was not happy when she heared that Y/N is not the right woman." Benny said.
"I mean... you only need to look how she behaves infront of you." Sam pointed out.
"And how she behaves towards Y/N. She makes it pretty clear that she is not happy that Y/N is here."
Well, that were news to Dean. But on the other hand, he had been gone for a while. He had never noticed that Cassie avoided Y/N like that. No matter who he saw Y/N with, they all seemed to like her now and she seemed to get along with everyone. She fit the bill really well.
"Okay. This is not happening. Not under my watch." Dean said and made his way back up the stairs. "Call everyone into the dining hall!" He had to do something.
Fifteen minutes later all the clan members were gathered around the large table, at the head of which Dean stood, the package in his hand. A murmur went through the crowd as no one could really explain what the problem was. Dean looked around and saw Jo and Alex standing with Cassie. Benny was standing near the door and Sam was across the room from him. Millie had fought her way to Jo without Cassie or Alex noticing her.
"When I came back from my business trip today, I actually had the impression that everything was fine. But then Y/N found this in our bedroom." and with a thud he dropped the package onto the table after removing the lid.
The severed cat's head almost fell out of the box, causing shocked exclamations among those present.
"This is a threat that should go to Y/N. But this threat also goes to me and I cannot and will not accept that. Y/N is now my wife and I had the impression that you all received her well But apparently I was wrong."
An incomprehensible murmur now went through the crowd, accompanied by the underlying question of who could do such a thing. Dean observed the reactions of the different people, but couldn't notice anything unusual, not even with Cassie.
"So that's how it's going to go here now." Dean raised his voice a little so that everyone would really listen to him. "Whoever did it has the opportunity to own up to it and admit it now. However, if that person doesn't speak up and I find out who it was...then God have mercy on him."
It was slowly getting dark and the temperature had dropped noticeably, but Y/N still couldn't go back. She had seen Sam and Dean riding horses across the countryside, calling out to her. She could also hear Benny, who was probably looking for her somewhere near the stables. Still, she couldn't reveal herself.
If Dean confronted her now, she would probably pour her heart out to him. She had noticed one thing in the last few hours. Her nerves were pretty thin and she wouldn't be able to handle any further rejection of her confession. She still hadn't completely calmed down. So she would now wait until the men gave up their search for the day and then sneak into Arrow's stable.
It took a few hours until Y/N felt safe enough to head back. By now it was pitch black and the cold was now creeping into her bones. Even though she was probably no longer visible, she walked slowly and deliberately. Always keeping an eye on the castle and its surroundings while she ducked again and again.
A lantern was burning in the stable and the candle wouldn't last much longer. However, it still provided enough light for Y/N to find the right box. As soon as Arrow recognized her, he whinnied happily and raised and lowered his head. She immediately tried to calm him down so that he wouldn't give her position away. However, that took a few moments.
"Oh Arrow. What am I supposed to do?"
The horse pushed Y/N's head closer to him as soon as the young woman stood in the box with him. As if he understood her words and recognized that she was struggling inside. She hugged him back, enjoying the feeling of safety and familiarity in that moment.
"That came from the stable! I think it was Arrow!"
Suddenly she heard Benny's voice, which seemed to come from the castle. But he wasn't alone.
"I'll take a look!" Alex called back, seemingly closer.
Oh no, she didn't want to be discovered yet. But after looking around and not really finding a place to hide, Y/N went to the end of the box, sat on the floor and piled the hay up above her. She tried to hide under it as best she could and just hoped she wouldn't be noticed.
Then she heard footsteps coming towards her. She could still see a little through the pile of hay above her head and at some point she saw Alex's legs and how he was walking through the stable. He stopped briefly at Arrow, spoke a few words to him and then went out again.
"She is not here. Everything looks normal." Alex stated as he seemed to walk back to the castle.
Relief flooded through Y/N and she was able to release the breath she had previously been holding. Quietly and carefully, she dug herself out of the hay again. The candle in the lantern barely gave off any light now. Arrow came over and sat down next to her, resting his head on her lap. Y/N also leaned into him a little.
"Just a little longer." She whispered while petting Arrow. "I'll just stay with you a little longer and then I'll go back."
Dean paced around the bedroom. It was already the middle of the night and Y/N still hadn't returned. A bad feeling slowly began to spread within him. After all, it was his fault that it had gotten this far. He had scared her away and made her feel like running away was the only solution. His absence and the silence with which he had punished her had been too much.
And yes, he now knew that he had unconsciously punished Y/N with his behavior. He hadn't married the woman he wanted and in a way Y/N was to blame. But that wasn't really why he had acted like that. Because now he also knew that there was an even more confusing reason for him. He stopped in front of the window and looked out into the cold, dark night.
Back then he had already imagined everything in his head. What the wedding with Helena would be like, their life afterwards here in his castle. What the next five years could have been like. The first child, then the second. For a long time these had just been fantasies for him, but after he got to know Helena, he could easily imagine that the fantasies could be true. He had really had feelings for the young woman.
But then the wedding night was over and in the next morning came disillusionment. He hadn't married Helena, but Y/N. That really threw him off track. And yet there were parallels between him and his wife. That's why he took her with him. And actually he had planned to just see how it goes. It was just the way it was now.
But the journey back to the castle alone had been a challenge. As soon as Y/N sat in front of him, his penis began to stir again. Her soft, round ass against his hips, the scent that wafted from her hair into his nose, had inevitably brought back the images of their night together.
And from then on, every night had been difficult for him. Every minute he had been alone with Y/N he had had to pull himself together. So often his fingers had itched to hold her in his arms or even kiss her. But he wasn't sure if she would have wanted that. After all, she had married him out of necessity and not because she wanted to.
So he went on business trips. But the distance didn't make things any better. When he lay in bed at night and let his thoughts wander, he always saw Y/N in front of him. He thought of her, of the things she had told him and of their night together. She had really caught him off guard and made him long for her. How crazy was all that?
He couldn't stay in the room any longer. With his coat in hand, he made his way back downstairs. The castle lay still and quiet, peaceful, as if nothing had happened. He opened the door and stood on the stairs, his gaze turned back to the dark landscape. His wife was out there somewhere and he was just hoping she would come back so he could talk to her and explain himself. So he could finally do it right.
"Dean?"
Slightly startled, Dean turned to the voice and recognized Ellen, who was standing in front of the kitchen with a candle in her hand and looking at him in surprise.
"What are you doing here?" she asked and came over to him.
"Y/N is still out there somewhere. She still hasn't come back." his gaze turned back.
"But she will come back eventually. She probably just needed time. After what you told me, Dean... you really made a mistake."
"I know!" he exclaimed angry at himself. "But I'm hoping it's not to late now."
Ellen didn't say anything else, but her heart ached a little for Dean. She was also worried about Y/N and hoped that she would show up again soon. She placed a warm hand on Dean's shoulder, showing him her silent support. After a few minutes, however, she broke the silence again.
"Has anyone come forward about the allegations yet?"
"No. And it looks like noone will either."
"She was really on edge last week. Whoever followed her had made her feel really uneasy."
"You also knew about it?" Dean asked surprised.
"Yes. She told me about it."
"Did she also tell you that she that she suspected Cassie?"
"No. But that does not surprise me." Dean looked at Ellen questioningly and she smiled a little. "Have you ever seen how she looks at you? She's jealous. And she's ignoring Y/N since the moment she came here. It would make sense."
With that Ellen was right, but he could hear a 'but' in her sentence. So he asked he to explain.
"when you called the meeting this afternoon and showed us what it was about, Jo overheard Cassie talking to Alex."
"And?" Dean now was eager to know.
"She wasn't as shocked as everyone else about the contents of the box, but she was probably still surprised. And then she said to Alex that she thought the act was good and that it was a shame that she hadn't thought of it herself."
"So she indirectly admitted that it wasn't her... And Jo believes her?"
"Yes. And I believe that too, by the way." now Dean looked surprised and Ellen explained her statement. "She once helped me in the kitchen and was supposed to pluck a chicken. She almost vomited. And the animal was already dead."
"So she couldn't have killed the cat." Dean mused.
"No. Not her. Unless she had an accomplice. But I believe Jo that it wasn't Cassie. My daughter has known her longer than I have."
That made sense in Dean's eyes. "But who was it then?"
"That's exactly the question, Dean. Who did it?"
Early the next morning Benny made his way to the stable. He hadn't been able to find any real peace either. So he wanted to check on Arrow. The sky slowly became brighter, making last night's frost glitter like stars. It had been the coldest night yet. He lit the lanterns and then ran the boxes. Everything seemed quiet, but when he glanced into Arrow's box, he had to do a double take.
There, right next to Arrow in the hay, lay Y/N and she was pretty pale. Benny walked straight towards her, which startled the horse, but it remained calm on the ground. Upon closer inspection, Benny saw that Y/N had sweat on her forehead and her lips were blue.
He didn't have to think about it for long. Benny lifted her out of the hay into his arms and made his way to the castle. She urgently needed to get somewhere warm and Dean needed to know about it too. He hadn't left the stable when Alex stood in front of him, looking quite frightened.
"Go call Dean. Tell him I found Y/N and that she needs help." Benny ordered, but Alex didn't seem to be able to move. "GO!"
Suddenly the young man came back to life and turned around to run back into the castle. Benny also hurried to get there while speaking quietly to the woman in his arms. He noticed how she was shaking and the cold radiating from her body worried him deeply.
He was just walking in the door when Dean appeared in front of him and took Y/N into his arms. But the two were not alone. Apparently Alex had woken up half the castle.
"Benny, ride off and bring the doctor here immediately! Don't take any detours and if he refuses, then tell him that money doesn't matter!" Dean called over his shoulder as he hurried up the stairs with Y/N.
Millie followed Dean straight up the stairs and opened the bedroom door for him when they reached the top. After they entered, Millie pulled back the covers so Dean could lay Y/N there and tuck her right back in.
"Millie, can you please get a few more blankets from the guest rooms? I'll light the fire in the meantime so that it gets warm in here."
"Of course." Milllie said and set off straight away.
After Millie disappeared from the room, Dean looked down at Y/N. Her face was so pale that her blue lips formed a shocking contrast. God, this was all his fault. Just because he once again spoke first before he could think about his words. So he did something useful and started the fire in the fireplace.
Still, it took over an hour for Benny to get back. Only he didn't have the doctor with him, but someone else. A thin man with dark skin sat on another horse. Not as dark as Cassie's skin, but different nonetheless. He wore a turban on his head.
“Doctor MacGregor wasn’t home. He was called to an emergency in Dundreggan last night. But his guest from India is also a doctor." Benny pointed to the man next to him and introduced him. "This is Mr. Gupta. He's an... ajurwedish doctor. Correct?"
"Yes." the man said with an strong accent. "And I'm here to help. If you're willing to let me."
For a moment Dean was skeptical, but then he remembered that every second counted. And so he gave the man his hand and explained the situation to him as they made their way up to Y/N. He saw the concerned and puzzled looks from some of the others they passed, but he ignored them.
Mr. Gupta examined Y/N thoroughly, explaining every step and his findings to Dean. They had already done the right thing by wrapping her up warm and heating the room well, but that wouldn't be enough.
"She is hypothermic. Her body temperature is already in the critical range. Under no circumstances should the room lose heat. At some point she will try to free herself from the blankets, but that must not happen either."
Meanwhile, Millie was back in the room and she and Dean took in all the information and agreed on care for Y/N in the next few days.
"In addition, I will prepare a decoction and a warming paste for her. If used regularly, her condition should improve in the next week. But it will take time."
But Dean didn't care. The main thing is that Y/N would feel better soon. He wouldn't lose her like this. That was out of the question.
Y/N felt weird. She felt hot and cold at the same time, her head was pounding and she was shaking. She noticed noises but couldn't identify them. In general, she didn't know whether she was dreaming or awake.
Whenever she tried to free herself from the sea of blankets under which she felt buried and was sweating from the heat, Dean's face appeared above her, encouraging her to stay under the blankets.
Other times, when the cold made her shiver and she felt the blankets being pulled away, she tried to bury herself under them again. But even then Dean's face appeared, reassuring her that it wouldn't take long as he caressed her. But when he stopped, these parts of his body became really warm and drove away the cold.
And sometimes she had a terrible spicy taste in her mouth that made her thirsty. Then Millie was with her to help her drink. Or were those just dreams too? She simply couldn't tell the difference and so she always hoped that her consciousness would just slip back into the silent nothingness where she could no longer feel anything.
The next time Y/N woke up she felt different. More awake with a clearer mind. She was still cold, but she finally felt like herself again. And she realized that this wasn't a dream. She was really awake. With tired limbs, she moved slowly and moaned slightly.
"Y/N? Y/N!" She heard Dean's excited voice and searched for him with her eyes once she got used to the brightness.
"How are you? Do you need anything?" suddenly he was at her side, holding her hand.
"No, I... I'm fine. I'm just... a little tired and I'm still a little cold." She said quietly, wondering what even happened.
But it didn't take long for the memories to catch up with her again. She didn't go back the night after she escaped. She had fallen asleep at Arrow's side and had lain in the freezing stable all night. It had been her own fault.
She saw Dean take a deep breath and close his eyes briefly before speaking again. "Stay there. I'll call Millie and the doctor." and then he disappeared through the door.
Half an hour later, Dean made his way outside and walked over to Sam, who was chopping firewood. With a firm step he ran towards his brother, who looked at him worriedly after noticing him. Sam put down the axe.
"Dean? Is everything okay?"
"Yes. Yes, everything is fine." answered the older man, took the ax in his hand and began to boldly chop wood.
"Are you sure? Is something wrong with Y/N?" Sam probed.
"No." he swung the axe. "She woke up and was lucid again." again the ax thundered downwards. "She's doing much better than she has in the last few days." with the third blow the log was split.
But then Sam realized what was really going on with his brother. He had seen how the guilt had eaten away at Dean over the last few days. He had made huge accusations against himself, even if he hadn't admitted it. So Sam left him alone with the firewood, knowing that Dean would have to use it to release his pent-up emotions. But still the hope spread within him that this was finally the turning point.
An hour later, most of the firewood had been cut down and Dean was sweaty and exhausted. But he felt better. Now it was time to start all over again.
He made his way back into the castle when Mr. Gupta came out. Dean thanked him for his help and said goodbye to him with kind words. The doctor had made another decoction and prescribed Y/N two more days of bed rest in addition to a hot bath, but he was sure that she would recover completely. She just had to take it slowly and Dean would make sure of that.
When Dean came into the bedroom, it wasn't as warm as before and Y/N was still sitting in the hot tub. She was slightly startled when she saw Dean come in, but didn't say anything. That hit Dean a little, but he could also understand her behavior. After all, he was guilty of it himself and it was entirely up to him to change that.
He undressed and walked towards the tub. Y/N scooted forward to make room for him and once he was in the tub, she wanted to get out. But Dean stopped her and made her sit back down. He picked up the bar of soap that was lying on a small stool next to the tub and immediately recognized the scent. That's why Y/N always smelled so seductive.
By now the bar of soap was pretty thin and he made a mental note that he needed to bring her some again. After Dean had cleaned himself up, he leaned back in the tub and gently pulled Y/N along by the shoulders. She reacted a little stiffly at first, but quickly relaxed again and secretly enjoyed the feeling of finally being able to be so close to Dean again.
When the water slowly got cold, they got out of the tub again. Dean first so he could grab a towel for Y/N. He held it out to her openly after Y/N also had both feet on dry land and wrapped it around his shoulders. Suddenly they were so close. Body to body, face to face that Dean cleared his throat and had to take a few steps back so he didn't do anything rash.
"Dry yourself off and then go back to bed. I'll get you some real food." Dean said as he quickly got dressed and then disappeared from the room.
Later that evening, when Y/N was slowly making her way to dreamland again, Dean sat by the fire and looked over at the bed. Y/N lay there with her eyes closed, cheeks rosy, hair down and a relaxed expression on her face. And for the first time in days, Dean was able to breathe deeply.
After he had brought his wife and himself something to eat upstairs and they were sitting together, he remembered a situation that had happened in his childhood. On one of their trips when he and Sam were younger, his brother once fell into a frozen lake. Her father noticed immediately and didn't hesitate for a second to pull him out and Sam was quickly fine again.
Nevertheless, he had told Y/N about it and she seemed to just absorb his words. So he didn't stop talking. He told her about many things and she literally hung on his every word. Why hadn't he done this before? It was so easy to confide in her and even though he didn't like talking about himself in general, he felt comfortable with Y/N in doing so.
The tiredness slowly overcame him and so it didn't take long until Dean settled down in bed. Moving close to Y/N, he quickly fell asleep too.
But just a few hours later, Dean woke up with a start. He didn't know why, but his hand immediately searched the side of the bed next to him, expecting to feel Y/N. But her side was empty and already cold.
“Y/N?” he exclaimed, sitting up at the same time.
"I am here. I couldn't stay lying down anymore." She replied quietly with a smile and his eyes found her directly.
She was sitting by the fire, her hair falling over her shoulders and she had a book in her hand. But Dean couldn't take his eyes off of her. The orange glow of the flames painted her face and made her appear almost angelic. Dean's breath caught in his throat and he sank back onto the bed.
'God, she is so beautiful. Why didn't I notice this before?' he thought to himself.
After a moment he straightened up slightly and looked over at Y/N again.
“Will you please come back to bed?”
Y/N looked at him a little surprised, but then nodded. "Okay."
She put her book aside and came back to the bed. Dean had already lifted the blankets, implicitly inviting her to slide closer to him. Y/N was very happy to accept this offer. Once she was at his side, her head on his chest, he covered them both again.
"You really scared me." Dean said shortly afterwards into the comfortable silence.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." Y/N replied quietly.
Dean looked down at Y/N. "Please don't just run away again. Not until I can talk to you."
Upon those words Y/N looked up at Dean. "I won't. I promise." and she meant it, because she wouldn't be able to go through this again.
They looked deeply into each other's eyes and suddenly it was as if time stood still. Dean couldn't hold back anymore. With a hand on her cheek, he leaned down to Y/N until his lips were on hers. He kissed her carefully at first, but Y/N didn't seem to mind the kiss. And as soon as Dean felt her tongue on his lower lip, he was done for.
He deepened the kiss and turned a little more towards Y/N, who was able to put her leg on his hip. His hand moved up her thigh until it came to rest on her ass.
She buried her hands in his hair and began to slowly rub herself against him. She moaned slightly into his mouth while his hand, which was on her butt, went back to wandering. The nightdress that Y/N was wearing had slipped onto her own hips. With his thigh he opened her legs a little more so that his already stiff cock could nestle against her warm center.
Dean could already feel how wet she was and he had to hold himself together not to just push into her. But when Y/N's hand landed on his ass shortly afterwards and she pushed him closer to her, he literally slid into her. So he turned her so that she was lying on her back and sank his last few inches into her.
They both groaned and Dean wasted no time. He moved slowly but forcefully inside her. He carried out each of his thrusts with passion as he uncovered Y/N's breasts and caressed them there with his mouth. He licked her nipples and bit them tenderly, making her moans grow louder.
At some point he picked up the pace a little and licked from her breasts over her collarbone to her neck. That bittersweet pressure built up inside Y/N again and she searched with her lips for Dean's, who was only too happy to kiss her back.
He felt Y/N start to throb around his cock and began to chase his own orgasm. Y/N moved with him, holding onto his shoulders and as she jumped over the edge, he followed her just seconds later. He poured himself deep and hard into her while Y/N enjoyed the aftershocks.
They both looked deeply into each other's eyes as their pulses slowly calmed down. But neither really wanted to let go of the other. So they lay there entangled in each other and fell asleep together again.
A/N: I told you that everything would get better again. Let's just hope it stays that way. 😶 Let me know what you think. Feedback is very much appreciated! 💜

I get being mad, but this is like a cruel new form of torture 😩
He was really cruel! She tried and tried, but he just didn't want to give in. Also he did not think that he was doing anything wrong. But he got his wake up-call in full force. And Y/N still was doing her best in the only way she could. 🥰
Are there ghosts in this story?
🤣 No, no ghosts in this one. But I could've thought about that too. 🤔 Someone is on her heels.
And Cassi's really the bad bitch here. She would do almost anything to get Dean. She and Helena do have some things in commen.
And wtf?!?! The dead cat head in her bed?! Who tf is doing this?! (*coughs* Cassie lol)
Like I said, someone's on her heels. And I'm so curious if you will find out who it is before it all will be revealed. 🤭🤭🤭

Dean had been gone on a third business trip and this time he told Y/N that he would be gone for almost two weeks. Y/N had known that he was a busy man. After all, his reputation had preceded him. But somehow she had hoped for him to step back from it a little and spend the time with her. Turned out, she was wrong. It had really affected her, but she didn't want to show it to him.
So, she sad goodbye to him. Again. And it felt as if a piece of her heart had been broken off. A piece he did not see and that he just left lying on the ground for everyone else to walk over and step on it. She had expected resistance and irritation, but not such a cold shoulder. But Y/N just wanted to love him. Why did he not let her love him?
After Dean left Y/N started to to fully take over her position. Ellen had already included her in most things, letting Y/N decide how and what to do and everyone seemed to like the fresh air she brought with her.
She finally ordered that the men had to help carry the heavy objects. So not only did they have to carry the full pots out of the kitchen, but also the heavy tubs or washing vats for the laundry. And the men, surprisingly, didn't mind. On the contrary, they enjoyed the opportunity to flex their muscles. Sam had told her about it at some point. She tried not to change too much too quickly and received acceptance. From everyone except Cassie.
The young woman was still frosty towards her, but Y/N tried not to let it bother her to much. She would need to come around eventually. Or Dean would need to make an decision in the end. And none of them would want that. Hence Y/N always remained friendly and sometimes even tried to start a conversation with Cassie, but she always turned her down. However, she wouldn't let that deter her.
It's been almost two weeks again since Dean had left and Y/N missed him. But she started to feel more and more at home with each day. The castle was big, she had gotten lost a few times, but it exuded a cozy calm. The color of the carpets and curtains, the dark wood everywhere, it all reminded her of Dean somehow. The vast countryside, which seemed almost barren when the weather was good, also suited her husband. He also loved to ride horses and the landscape was perfect for that. It was as if his spirit was everywhere, influencing everything and giving life to everything around him. Even if he wasn't there. But maybe she was just lovesick by now.
"How are you holding up, pretty?"
Y/N snapped out of her thoughts a bit and looked over at Benny, who had just spoken to her. He took care of the horses. She stood at the horse pasture on the outside of the fence and watched Arrow and the other horses as they whiled away their time. She smiled at Benny. A friendship had developed between them.
"It get's better day by day and I actually start to love it here."
"That's good, isn't it?"
"Yeah, I guess so."
"But you obviously would like it more when Dean would be around, too." Benny grinned and Y/N's cheeks took on a deeper color.
"It was not fair to him, Benny. Not at all. And I understand that he's mad."
"But then why did he bring you here? If he would not at least like you, he could've just rejected you."
That was something she had told herself in the beginning too. Something she had hoped for herself. But with every passing day that hope faded.
"Maybe... he just felt pity for me."
"No, pretty. No." Benny came a little closer. "I don't believe that. That's not Dean. You see..."
Suddenly he stopped talking and his brows furrowed. She saw him look past her head and behind her and something in his eyes worried her. So Y/N turned around too, but she couldn't see anything unusual.
"What?" she turned her head back to Benny. "What did you see?"
It took a few seconds before Benny turned his attention back to Y/N.
"I... I don't know." He looked one last time at the spot he had in view, but there was nothing left to see. "But... it looked like someone was standing there... in the shadows."
An uneasy feeling spread through Y/N because she knew that Benny wouldn't joke with statements like that. So she looked behind her again and hoped it was just a mistake.
But by the end of the third week that Dean had been gone, this feeling had become her constant companion. At first she thought it was just her imagination, but after she saw for herself that someone was watching her, she realized that someone was targeting her.
In the meantime she had also told Benny about it, who hardly wanted to leave her side after her confession. At some point this alarmed Sam, who wanted to know what was going on. Even though he spent a lot of time with Millie, he never lost track of what was happening here.
So, the two men started to team up after they agreed on keeping this just between them. The only other person they told was Millie. She was still Y/N's maid and she knew that she could trust her friend. And while they tried to discreetly figure out who might be behind it, Y/N already had a strong suspicion. There was actually only one person left. Cassie.
She was currently in the kitchen, one of the few places where she felt safe, making herself some tea. Lost in thought, she didn't hear Ellen come into the kitchen and place her basket full of vegetables on the table.
"So..." Ellen made herself known and crossed her arms over her chest. "...what's going on here?"
Y/N slowly turned around, trying to look as ignorant as possible. "I do not know what you mean."
"Oh come on." Ellen snorted. "Sam and Benny rarely leave your side anymore and you're constantly looking around like you're looking for something."
That surprised Y/N and you could see it on her face. Was she really acting so conspicuously? Ellen released her arms again and came over to Y/N.
"Don't worry. The others have no idea about it. But I've been in charge here for years and I practically had to help raise Dean and Sam. The two rascals were always up to something. That's why my eyes are just a little sharper than the eyes of others." she smiled a little. "And my mind too. But don't let the men hear that."
After a nervous laugh, Y/N took a deep breath and then told Ellen everything. She knew that she could be trusted too. Besides, she probably knew the place best. She knew all the clan members and everyone trusted her. It wasn't a bad idea to have her on the observer team.
Ellen's eyes widened somewhat in shock. She would never have thought that someone here would do something like that. Y/N was about to tell the older woman her suspicions about Cassie, but it didn't come to that. Jo came running into the kitchen, a small smile on her face.
"Dean is back!" she came around to Y/N and her mother. "He just went in with his stuff and was asking for you."
The blonde young woman looked at Y/N beaming with joy and squeezed her shoulders excitedly. Of course she also noticed that Dean was rather dismissive and distant. She was now all the more happy for her friend and hoped that it meant something positive. Y/N let this affect her and, with her heart pounding slightly, made her way to her husband.
Dean was happy to finally be home again. The business trip had been strenuous and the negotiations had been long. But true to his reputation, he persevered and ultimately succeeded again. Yet another liquor deal that included him as the sole supplier. That also meant that there were more jobs and people were always looking for jobs.
As his castle slowly came into view, he could finally breathe deeply again. As much as he enjoyed traveling, he still preferred wearing things at home. His deputy, Castiel, had everything under control in Edinburgh and he could rely on him implicitly. That was quite a relief and he was grateful for it.
The sun was warm on his back and he had a small smile on his face. But the closer he got to the castle, the more the smile disappeared. At first he couldn't quite put his finger on it, but then he realized what was bothering him. His men carried washing vats and buckets of water to fill them. Instead of training or doing the manual work, they did women's work. What was going on here?
After stopping his horse in front of the castle, he dismounted and marched towards the entrance. Benny came running, but couldn't reach him. He was already in the entrance hall when Jo ran towards him. He asked for Y/N and Jo told him she would get her. He went upstairs to remove his coat and bag before going back outside to talk to Benny.
"How is everybody doing?" Dean asked and led his horse into the stable where Alex took him to rub him down.
"Everything is fine. We were just waiting for you to come home."Benny answered as he walked next to Dean. "This was the last business trip for this year, right?"
"Yes, it was." Dean came to a halt and looked serious at Benny. "What is going on here?"
Benny looked at Dean questioningly, whereupon he gestured to two of his men who were still carrying buckets of water while three maids were doing laundry.
"Oh! Yeah... Y/N has changed some things."
"Why?"
"Because... it just made sense."
And then Benny told Dean about the lamb stew incident and how there were other situations like that. But since Y/N changed that, nothing like that had happened again and the men found it a good change to exercise their muscles. And to impress the women, of course.
That surprised Dean. Especially that these changes were so well received. And even though he might not want to admit it, he saw the logic behind it and it definitely made sense.
Maybe his original annoyance wasn't appropriate after all if everyone agreed with it. And again Y/N brought drastic changes into his life. Even though he tried to stay away from it as much as possible.
"You brought a really good wife home, brother." Benny said and padded Dean's shoulder before he left him with a smile.
But that statement didn't help Dean in the slightest. The only reason he took Y/N with him in the first place was because of the way her father treated her. Even though he was still upset about the betrayal, he could still understand why Y/N had taken Helena's place. There was just too much attached to it and he even admired her courage a little bit. Still, it hadn't given Y/N's father the right to treat her like that. That too had scratched at long-forgotten memories and so he simply couldn't leave her behind. He just couldn't do it.
"Dean!" he heared a familiar voice call after him and he rolled his eyes a little.
Cassie came running down to him again, but this time he was prepared and could stop her before she could hug him again.
"Finally you're back. Have you seen what have been going on here?"
When Y/N came out of the kitchen, she saw Dean disappearing out the front door. She didn't want to keep him waiting and was already running after him when Millie caught her just in time.
"Y/N. Y/N!" the woman was calling out and Y/N stopped in her tracks.
"Yeah? What happened?" now a little alarmed she waited for her friend to speak.
"Dean is back. He just arrived ten minutes ago."
Relief spread through her that what her friend had wanted to say to her wasn't anything worse.
"Oh, I know. Jo just told me that he's back. And he was looking for me." she couldn't suppress a grin.
"Really?" Millie started to grin too. "Maybe the long distance worked some magic."
"I don't know. But I don't want to let him wait to long. It's the first time that he has ever asked for me..." and she tried not to get her hopes to high up.
She was already on her way out again when Millie stopped her again.
"Wait!" she came close to her, so that she could whisper. "Would it not be best to tell Dean... about the situation?"
Y/N had already thought of that. "I don't know yet. Let me first see why he was looking for me and then I will decide."
Millie nodded her head in agreement and Y/N made her way back to Dean. It didn't take long until she saw him, only he wasn't alone. Cassie was standing next to him again. Shouldn’t Y/N be the first to greet him back?
She slowed her pace and tried not to attract attention. The two of them talked and stood so close to each other again that Y/N's heart sank a little. And what she then heard didn't make it any better.
"She changes everything here. She messes everything up." Cassie insisted and took a step closer to Dean. "Why are you letting this happen? I would never do that."
"Cassie..."
"You could've married me. I would never do this." Cassie said and placed her hand lightly on his chest.
Dean didn't say anything to that. He didn't even try to free himself from her grasp and that really hit Y/N.
"And if you remember, Dean... I said I would take over the responsebility from Ellen. Since I was the only woman fitting for it here. Why did you have to take that away from me? From us?"
That was enough for Y/N. She didn't need to hear anything more. With quick steps she made her way back into the castle and without stopping ran up to the bedroom. Once there, she leaned against the door, closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She had held herself together for so long that Cassie wouldn't let her lose her composure even now.
When she opened her eyes again, she noticed a small package on the bed. It was wrapped in dark green fabric and tied with a red bow. Had Dean brought her something from Edinburgh?
She walked towards the bed and carefully untied the bow. It was almost too pretty to unpack. She opened the fabric and lifted the lid of the box, curious to see what was hidden underneath. But as soon as she realized what it was, she wished she hadn't seen it.
On a bed of red, withered roses lay a severed head of a black cat. And it wasn't long before Y/N let out a bloodcurdling scream that could be heard throughout the castle.
When the scream itself reached Dean outside the castle, he suddenly broke away from Cassie and ran back inside. He already saw Millie in front of the stairs, who was just about to make her way up when she saw him.
"Y/N. That's Y/N!" was all she needed to say for Dean to sprint up the stairs.
"Stay here!" Dean ordered and Millie complyed.
He heard Y/N sobbing in the shared bedroom and was standing in the room just a few moments later. Y/N stood near the windows and was completely distraught. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she held a hand over her mouth to prevent any further loud noises. At first, Dean wasn't entirely sure what the problem was.
"What happened?" he asked in confusion.
With a shaking hand she pointed to the bed and then Dean also saw the small package. Weird. When he was upstairs to put his things down, it wasn't there yet. He took a few steps towards it, but immediately recognized what was inside. And if he was honest, he felt a little sick. But he still wondered what, or rather who, had put this there.
"That's... black magic." Y/N uttered in strangled words.
"What? No." Dean huffed. "That's not magic."
He didn't believe in magic and even though it was a really sick action that he wouldn't tolerate, Y/N had to calm down. He took the green cloth that lay next to the package and covered the inside.
"Then it's a threat. Which is addressed to me." Y/N said a little calmer, but still with emotion.
"Why would anyone threaten you?"
"Because you married me. That wasn't well received by everyone here."
Now Dean listened a little. "It sounds like you have some suspicions about who that might have been."
Y/N hesitated for a second. She actually didn't want to broach the subject like that, but they were now in a completely new situation. So she nodded.
"It was Cassie." she said in a firm voice.
"Oh, c'mon." Dean shook his head in disbelief. "Why would Cassie do something like that?"
"Because she wanted to marry you!" was he serious right now? "From the day you brought me here she avoided me. And she made it very clear to everyone else that she does not like me."
That made Dean a little amazed. "I know she's not necessarily easy, but she wouldn't be capable of something like that."
"You thought the same about Helena. And yet, here we are."
That left Dean a little speechless, but he didn't dwell on it.
"I don't know what's going on in your head, but it sure as hell wasn't Cassie." defended Dean the other woman again.
Dean didn't believe her. He simply sided with Cassie. That was enough. She couldn't take it anymore. For the last two months she had endured everything and never complained. His lack of interest in her and the fact that he constantly left her alone. She had endured it all, but now it was over.
"It was her! It could only have been her! I've been followed by someone lately and I..." but Dean did not really pay attention to her.
"But whoever it was, I won't tolerate that. Let's see what I can find out."
"You are not listening to me!" she almost screamed and now earned Dean's full attention.
"I try to talk to you, explain things to you and you don't listen to me! You just don't care! I tell you that it must have been Cassie because she's jealous of me and you don't believe me. Even though her behavior towards you should be proof enough."
"I do... listen..." Dean stumbled over his words, his mind trying to catch up.
And he did. He really listened to her, even if he didn't answer. At first, Dean had found it somewhat strange that Y/N had just started talking. But little by little he started to like it. Y/N talked a lot about herself. What she liked and what she didn't like. She also talked about her childhood and what memories she still carried with her. He had learned a lot about her and without meaning to, it had brought her closer to him.
"This situation isn't easy for me either. I'm giving my all here, trying to stay strong and not let myself get dragged down. I'm trying to find my way in a home that's completely unfamiliar to me, while my husband travels around the world and leaves me here alone." She let it all out.
"Hey, hey!" Dean interrupted. "I'm not just 'traveling around'. I'm making money. For all of us!"
Now Dean felt attacked. Of course it wasn't nice that he traveled so often, but it was necessary. This was how he made a living and, apart from that, he loved his work. So he wouldn't justify it.
"Do I look like I care about your money? No. I never have. But I did care about you! After the whole mess, I just wanted to make it up to you."
"But you can't! You're not Helena!" Dean replied angrily.
"I know that too! And yet you finally decided to take me with you." she fired back, causing Dean to fold his arms over his chest.
"Yeah, I should have thought about that for a minute."
But as soon as those words left his mouth, he regretted them. He didn't mean that. He saw Y/N's eyes fill with tears again and wanted to kick himself. Without another word, Y/N stormed past him to the door.
"Y/N..." he called after her, but it was useless.
The woman had already disappeared from the room without stopping or turning back.
A/N: Yeah, I'm... gonna leave it at that. See you next week! 🫣 Let me know what you think. Feedback is very much appreciated! 💜

Hey Wayne! 😃
What a nice surprise to see your reblogs after work today! 💜 I'm so excited to see what you think!
And I love the historic details you put in! 😍
Thank you! Although I have to say that I used a lot of it from some spicy historical books I read back in the day. And I put a little bit of my own twist to it. 🤭
This was such a beautiful description too 🫶
I love that you pointed out that line. 🥰
Thanks so much for reading, my friend! 💜💜

Oh god. She was really doing it.
The long red and green veil was laying heavily over her head, hiding her face and entire body. Only the little lace details infront of her eyes allowed her to see somewhat of her surroundings, but still kept her facial features away from anyone around her. A tradition her family had kept going since she can remember. It was meant to imply the furture husband to see his future wife after the reveal late at night with new eyes before consummating the marriage. He should not see just a woman from then on, he should see his future.
The chairs on her left side in the small chapel were already full with her family and basically the entire clan living here in her home with them. Her father was the Lord, but over the years the clan became smaller and smaller. Not only to certain diseases, but also because a lot of them wanted to start a new life in America. The british empire started to gain power and for some it seemed as a threath. Still, she felt her heart swell a little with warmth upon seeing them all.
On the right side of the chapel were a lot of empty chairs. Only a few men were sitting there, waiting for the wedding to start. But their heads turned in Y/N's direction as soon as the music started to play. Everyone became quiet and looked over to her, but she tried to only focus her attention on her feet. With a deep breath in she turned her gaze to the man at the end of the aisle. Now, he was looking directly at her and a small smile graced his face. But that did not help.
The man she was about to marry was Dean Winchester, Earl of the Winchester Clan. Rich, a lot of money to his name. Famous for his stubborn and unyielding business acumen. And devilishly good looking. Tall, broad shoulders, a voice as deep as the ocean and eyes as green as a sea of jades.
Yeah, Y/N has been in love with him since the first time she had seen him. But unfortunatly to her, he only seemed to have eyes for her younger sister, Helena.
The first time Dean visited her fathers castle, Y/N had welcomed him in and offered food and drinks. With a warm smile that made her heart flutter he accepted it. Her father appeared only minutes later and the men started a friendly conversation, resulting in Dean offering her father that he could always ask for help if needed. Since Dean had bought the land next to theirs it was the right thing to do. Not knowing then that five years later, her father would take him up on that offer.
Just when Dean was about to leave again, Helena had come in from the outside. Some hay in her hair and on her dress, indicating that she came fresh from the staples. And that was the moment Y/N saw it. The change in Dean's face. His eyes had widened a little, his mouth a little slack. Helena had smiled at him and all of a sudden he was lost for words.
That's when Y/N's heart sank to the ground. From then on it seemed as if she became invisible. After that, everytime Dean came over, he tried to spent as much time with Helena as he could. Never alone of course, but to everyone around them it was obvious that he liked her a lot. And eventhough Helena was always friendly, Y/N knew that she did not like him the same way. Her heart was already taken. But her father did not care.
Now, five years later, her father struggled to keep making money. The harvests of his few tenants had not been productive. Also he was not the best businessman out there. So he had no choice but to ask Dean for help. However, he saw his chance and asked for Helena's hand in return for his help, to which her father happily agreed.
So now, Dean was thinking he was going to marry Helena when in truth it was Y/N. She stopped in her tracks. What was she doing here? How disappointed would he be upon realizing that he married the wrong woman? And how angry would he be? Not forgetting the consequences this would entail.
But she had loved this man for years, still did to this day and she was only mere steps away from become his wife. Something her heart was yearing for for so long. But could she be that selfish?
What was she supposed to do now?

The whole day went well. In fact, the whole of last week had gone pretty well. Dean hadn't known exactly what would happen if Y/N's family came to visit. Her father wasn't much different than before the wedding. But Helena...
He didn't know how he imagined they would meet, but he definitely didn't expect her to immediately seek his company. At first Dean had been unsure how to act. But then he fell back into old behavior patterns quite easily. And the more time he spent with the younger of the two sisters, the more it felt like back then. It took him back to the time when he had courted her.
But this time Helena seemed to be more open towards him, as if she was now more able to get involved with him and that did something to him. There were these moments over and over again, the smallest moments. They came soft and quietly, like a gentle touch, and whispered to him that it could always be like this. Then every time he looked over at Helena as she laughed and looked for him, he remembered what he had originally wanted. She had been the woman he had wanted to marry from the start. And the way it was right now, it could be like this forever.
Even though November was slowly coming to an end and it was noticeably cold, today the sun shone down from a bright blue sky and lit the way for them during their little ride. By now they were on the way back and Dean was telling a story from his childhood. The blonde woman at his side seemed to be listening attentively, eventhough she barely participated in the conversation.
And so a few minutes later he came to the end of his story and they rode on in silence. Even now she still didn't say much about herself. That made Dean a little suspicious, but he already knew that from her.
After they rode over the last hill, his castle came into view again and suddenly his heart felt a little heavy. Y/N’s face appeared in his mind’s eye and he frowned. How different sisters could be. His wife had told him a lot about herself. From the beginning he felt like she shared almost everything with him and secretly he had liked it. And once he had let her in, once he had overcome his anger after she fell sick, he started to like her.
The days they spent together were light and happy. They shared stories and made small memories. Her experience as a leader of the house was surprisingly giving him a big support. After her mother had sadly died, she had to step up and Dean realized at one point that they had a lot in common.
And they started to share the nights together. After they had sex the second time in the morning he got reminded on what he had liked about her the first night. Her scent was still so intoxicating. He had ordered her soap so that she would not run out of it for a while. Her body soft and warm and she still fitted right into his arms, over time he couldn't get enough of her. How confusing this all was. In his mind he had a clear vision, but his heart seemed to want something else.
When they arrived back in front of the castle, Helena's father was already coming towards them. Dean got off his horse, handed it over to Benny, who was already waiting, and then helped Helena dismount. They smiled at each other briefly before the young woman turned to her father.
"Pack your things, daughter. We will leave first thing in the morning."
"Really?" she asked, sounding a bit surprised.
Her father just nodded. Huh. The disappointment at this news didn't spread through Dean as much as he thought it would. Of course he thought it was a shame that she was leaving again, but somehow he had internally expected a stronger reaction on his part.
The second person who came out of the castle towards them was Ellen. With a quick step she stopped in front of Dean and told him what had happened just an hour before and that Y/N had almost been seriously injured. This news, on the other hand, triggered a lot of things in him. Ellen immediately showed him the place where the large stone figure was still lying on the ground. With a searching look, Dean looked up and immediately recognized the spot where the figure had been placed. Weird. Normally the anchor wouldn't just break like that. It was solid craftsmanship.
"Nothing happened to her, luckily." Ellen Dean answered a question he was about to ask. "But she's upstairs now. That... shook her up quite a bit."
Dean could well imagine that. Still, an inner feeling urged him to check on his wife and make sure she was okay. With a curt nod, he turned around and made his way into the inside of the castle when his eyes fell on Helena again, who smiled at him. This caused his steps to slow slightly for a moment before he hurried again.
Mixed feelings accompanied him up the stairs. Dean hadn't expected that seeing Helena again would upset him so much. It was as if he had been reminded of the shame of the false wedding and the woman he actually wanted. A woman who also seemed to be looking for his company. He ignored the small doubt that arose in his mind as to why she hadn't come to the wedding herself.
When he reached the bedroom door, he took a quick breath before opening the door and stepping inside. But as soon as he closed it behind him again, Y/N suddenly ended up in his arms. The slight impact meant that he had to briefly correct his stance. His arms automatically closed around Y/N and the calm that suddenly spread through him grounded him. But he only allowed this feeling for a moment.
He slowly peeled her out of his embrace and put a few steps distance between the two of them. He leaned down a little to look her in the eyes and examined her for a moment.
"Are you okay?" he asked and Y/N nodded her head.
Relief flooded through Dean and he closed his eyes briefly. But then he let go of Y/N and put more steps between the two of them as he ran his hand over his mouth in thought. Y/N was now his wife. The one he didn't actually want and yet she brought out more emotions in him than he would have liked.
"I think that was planned. I mean... something like that doesn't just fall off the wall, does it?" Y/N continued, bringing Dean's attention back to her.
"No, not really. At least it shouldn't." he replied.
"I think that...someone is still targeting me."
"Y/N..."
"Please Dean, just think about it. This... this can't be a coincidence!"
He was about to contradict her, but this time he couldn't. This action seemed strange even to him. But he still couldn't imagine who it could really be and why. So he just said nothing. He couldn't have guessed that he was only fueling Y/N's insecurity.
"Don't you think so?" So Y/N asked again.
"I... I'm not sure." was all he could say.
But he didn't need to say more, because Y/N could already feel the distance that was now spreading between them again. The brief moment in which she had finally felt close to him again, in which he might have believed her without a doubt, was gone and that scared her.
"Why are we drifting apart again, Dean?" So she asked with her heart pounding and received a surprised look from her husband. "What happened to us in the last week?"
Now Dean turned away from her. "It's not that easy, Y/N." and it wasn't.
But another thing became clear to him. He needed to sort out his feelings and he couldn't do that here. Not if he continued to share a room with Y/N. So he grabbed some clothes and his soap. Y/N raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"What...what are you doing?" she asked.
"I'm going to sleep in a different room tonight. Just for... tonight." Dean then told her.
"What?" Y/N was now starting to panic a little.
"I... need time to think. This is all... kind of confusing."
"You mean your feelings for Helena." she threw back at him and he heard her hurt.
"That too, yes," he admitted. "Look, I'm just trying to be honest here."
"But Dean... we're married now. Shouldn't we... talk about it?"
He couldn't leave her alone now. Again. Not after what had happened today. Shouldn't he be over Helena by now? Otherwise he wouldn't have finally gotten involved with Y/N. Or would he?
"I just need the distance now. Besides, Helena and your father are going home tomorrow morning. So..."
With this news, his behavior made sense, of course. But it still hurt Y/N again.
"Oh, I see. Because you can't bear the thought of her leaving... and then you'll be here alone with me again."
The words had a sharp undertone, but Dean immediately heard between the lines what she meant. "I didn't say that. Y/N..."
"I'm really sorry that it's such a pain to be married to me." she whispered now, tears beginning to gather in her eyes.
"No, it's not like that. But..." he broke off his sentence. He didn't want to see her so hurt, but he also knew that his words wouldn't make it any better.
"But what?" Y/N asked anyway.
"I... I always just wanted to marry Helena. Not you." he still said it now.
And the same old story again. She was the woman nobody wanted. Everyone always just wants Helena. And even though she was the big sister and had to take care of her, she had had enough now. Too much was too much.
"But she never wanted to marry you!" she angrily shouted at him. "The whole time you were courting her, she only put up with it because our father wanted it that way!"
"What?" Dean frowned and looked questioningly at Y/N.
"She never loved you. She didn't even like you. And on the night of the wedding, she ran off with the man she had really loved for years to get married to him instead of you."
"Wait a minute..." so that was the reason why Y/N stepped in for Helena? No, that couldn't be.
"His name is Peter and he worked for my father. She fell for him immediately. And when our father forced the wedding on her, she came to me and begged me to help her. That's why I stepped in for her and married you."
Telling him the whole truth was, surprisingly, a very liberating feeling. It was finally out. Finally he knew the real reason for all this. But she also knew that it would feel different for Dean to know that now.
"That... that can't be." he said to himself, although it sounded pretty logical all in all.
"She never wanted you, Dean." now Y/N's anger had faded and she felt slightly exhausted from the whole day. But she still wasn't quite done. "But... I do."
"That... I..." But Dean didn't seem to have heard her, as lost in thought as he seemed. "I can't do this right now. We... we'll see each other tomorrow."
And with these last words he turned to the door and opened it. He had just stepped into the hallway when Y/N gathered all her courage.
"I love you, Dean!" she called after him, but the door had already slammed shut again, leaving her alone in the room.
"Why can't you see that?"
The next morning, Dean said goodbye to Helena and her father. Sam and Benny stood by his side and all three watched as the carriage slowly drove away. A strange feeling had settled in Dean's stomach. He had been thinking about what Y/N had told him all night and yet he still couldn't quite believe it.
Could he really have been so wrong about Helena? All the conversations they had had, all the time they had spent together, was it really all just a lie? And yet... even if he didn't normally put much faith in his intuition, it told him that this could all be possible.
After he had enough time last night to think about everything, he remembered that he knew this Peter. He had seen him several times when he was visiting them and he had not missed the look he had given Helena. But he didn't get a chance to think about it any further, because suddenly Sam's hand landed on his shoulder.
"So, where is Y/N?" his brother asked. "Didn't she want to say goodby to her family?"
"I don't know." Dean answered. "I haven't seen her this morning."
Sam and Benny exchanged a meaningful look, but Dean didn't notice. He was still too lost in thought.
"Okay." Sam said and turned his brother around who looked at him questioningly now. "I think we need to talk."
Y/N heard the carriage drive away, but didn't want to get up. She had barely slept all night and didn't want to say goodbye to her father and sister. And from the looks of things, they didn't mind either.
After a few more quiet moments, she finally stood up. She put on her dress and made her hair, but she again felt sick to her stomache. Something that has occurred every morning all week. She thought that once her family was gone, she would feel better. But after what happened with Dean, the feeling would probably last a little longer.
Even if she didn't want to, she had to show her face at some point. So she went out into the hallway and immediately ran into Millie, who was about to knock on her door. Her friend was slightly startled, but then seemed relieved when she saw that Y/N was okay.
"They're gone." Millie said.
"I know." Y/N answered.
An understanding silence spread between the two women, because they didn't need to say anything more.
"How about breakfast? You didn't eat anything last night, Y/N."
"I know, but I just can't eat anything at the moment."
"Are you still feeling sick? It's been like this for almost a week now." Millie asked worried.
"Yes, but it's probably just an upset stomach because of the whole situation here. It will definitely pass." she tried to calm her friend down and it seemed to work.
"Okay, but let me get you at least a cup of tea, okay?"
"Yes, please." Y/N smiled. "Go ahead. I'll be right there."
Millie nodded, smiling as well, and made her way back downstairs. As soon as her friend disappeared from her field of vision, Y/N took a quick breath and gathered her nerves before she too wanted to set off.
"Y/N?" she heard a familiar voice behind her. When she turned around, she realized that it was Alex.
"Alex, hey." She said friendly.
"Is Dean with you?" he asked and looked around.
"No, he is not." she actually did not want to think about him before she stood infront of him, but something in Alex's voice seemed off. "Why? Did something happen?"
"Sam and I were just up on the tower and we found something. We wanted to show him."
Now her interest was aroused and she took a few steps towards Alex. "What exactly did you find?"
"From the looks of things, the figure did not fall down on its own, but someone helped it." explained Alex.
This surprised Y/N, but in the end this statement only confirmed her own suspicions. So someone was after her after all. She had to see it with her own eyes.
"I knew it! I would also like to see it and talk to Sam about it."
"Oh, yeah. Sure!" Alex nodded obviously slightly taken aback. "I'll take you up to Sam and then I'll find Dean. That's no problem."
"Then let's go!" said Y/N and Alex cleared the way for her to go ahead.
He pointed her in the direction and waited until she had passed him so that he could walk behind her and Y/N couldn't see the large kitchen knife that was in the back of his belt.
With a whiskey in hand, Dean, Sam and Benny sat in front of the fireplace in the dining hall. Dean was still kinda confused on what Sam was on about, but he welcomed the amber liquid anyways. Sam turned around to see if they were alone in the room, before he started to talk.
"Okay, Dean. What is wrong with you?" he asked quite bluntly.
"What?"
"You seemed so happy in the last month with Y/N. And then her family comes to visit and you change that suddenly."
"It's not that easy, Sam." Dean grumbled and put his glass down in the ground infront of him.
"Yeah, no. I get it. You wanted to marry Helena. I know. But you ended up with Y/N and the two of you seemed to match really well."
"She's one of a kind, brother." Benny agreed with Sam.
"Yeah, yeah, but I catched feelings for Helena!" Dean exclaimed. "That nobody wants to understand this!"
"So that's the reason why you treat Y/N so badly?" Sam asked straight forward.
"I... I treat her badly? Are you serious?" Now Dean got angry.
"You ignored her and just did not care about her. You focused solely on Helena." Benny explained.
"We... we were reconnecting." Now Dean stood up again. "I don't even know why I have to explain myself to you."
"I'm only asking you because I want to understand what's wrong with you, Dean." Sam also stood up now. "Because the Dean I know would never treat a woman like that."
Dean huffed. "I brought Y/N here with me, didn't I? She's here now and I didn't break the deal with her father. So don't tell me I'm treating her badly."
"She has feelings for you, Dean," Sam replied.
"Oh, what nonsense." Dean waved it off and half turned his back on the two men. But the memory of how he had imagined last night that Y/N had called after him that she loved him came right back to him.
"Anyone can see that." Now Benny stood up too.
"But I have much more in common with Helena than with Y/N."
"Really? Like what?" Sam challenged.
"Sam, c'mon."
"No, Dean. I would really love to hear that."
"Well..." Dean gave in. "First of all, the thing about children. I definitely want to have children, in the near future, and Helena wants that too."
"No, brother." Benny now intervened. "That was Y/N. Y/N said that, not Helena. We were all standing at the stables and watching the horses. That was... on the first or second day after they arrived."
Now Dean frowned slightly and thought about it. But it didn't take long for Dean to remember. "Oh. Yes. Okay, you're right, Benny. But... that's not the only thing."
"And what else do you have in common?"
And then Dean started to list. He remembered all the conversations he had had with Helena and the points in which they were so similar. Whether it was about the future of his business, protecting his clan against the redcoats. A possible future in America or their favorite pie.
"And for our honeymoon we wanted to travel across the sea to France. So that Helena could see the stars on the high seas at night," he almost enthused.
"But Dean..." now Sam looked confused. "Everything you just said, every single point, was not said by Helena, but by Y/N."
"No, no, no." Dean shook his head in disbelief. "It was Helena."
"No, it was not! Helena only wants to travel in the near future. She wants to enjoy life and spent a lot of money... basically." Summarized Sam Helena's words in his own way. "She never said anything else."
"You're wrong, Sam."
"No, I am not! I was there too when you talked about these things!"
But Dean didn't want to believe it. He folded his arms in front of his chest and shook his head. None of this was true. He couldn't be so wrong, he hadn't imagined it. Helena had said that, not Y/N.
But Sam didn't want to give up so quickly. "Did you hear that she ran away on the night of the wedding to marry another man?"
"How...?" Dean's eyes widened in surprise.
"Millie heard Helena tell Y/N. Unfortunately, the guy was already married. He even has a son!"
Y/N hadn't told him that last night. Dean let his arms fall again. Something wasn't right here.
"And something else..." now Sam came up to Dean and looked him straight in the eyes. "The thing about seeing stars on the open sea... that was Y/N's wish. Because her mum..."
"...had told her about it so often when she was little." Dean finished the sentence in a whisper and looked at Sam in surprise.
And suddenly everything was there again. The memories, of the conversations. The real memories. Dean saw them one after the other in his mind's eye and he had to sit down. He had heard every word Y/N had ever said. No matter when it was, no matter how often he had visited, she was always there. And something else was there again too.
His memories of the first meeting with Y/N. Her warm gaze and friendly smile. Her shimmering eyes that made his heart beat a little faster. How could he have forgotten that? How could Helena have blinded him that much? It was Y/N. From the beginning, it had always been just Y/N.
When Y/N got to the top of the tower, it didn't take her long to realize that Sam wasn't there. Alex had already closed the door behind her and she turned to him questioningly. She was about to ask him where Sam was, but the look on Alex's face made her stop.
"You're really making it too easy." Alex said and then carefully pulled out the knife.
Y/N's eyes widened in shock and she took a few steps back. She raised her hands defensively.
"What... what are you doing, Alex?" but the young man wasn't listening to her.
"I was actually hoping that my little gift would make you run away, but somehow it didn't work. On the contrary, it brought you and Dean even closer together."
What? Y/N couldn't believe her ears. Alex. It was Alex who was behind all this. That couldn't be true.
"Although..." he pointed at her with the knife and took a few steps back and forth. "At first, things didn't look so bad for me when you were lying in the stable in the cold. I didn't tell anyone that I saw you there because I thought you would freeze to death that night anyway. Then I wouldn't have had to get my hands dirty."
Y/N still remembered that. She had seen Alex walking through the stable when she was hiding there from Dean and had been relieved that Alex hadn't seen her. How foolish of her.
"But then Benny had to find you the next morning. He was in the stable before me, even though I was awake so early. That annoyed me even more because I couldn't be sure that you had actually died already."
The coldness with which Alex spoke made Y/N freeze. She had gotten to know the young man as so friendly and nice that she couldn't imagine that he actually had such an evil side to him. That he was actually capable of something like murder, but apparently she hadn't known him well enough. Because he had cleverly hidden this side from her. And he had kept this side secret not only from her, but also from everyone else.
"So I had to think of something else. But you know what? It wasn't easy because suddenly Dean wouldn't let you out of his sight. You were terribly stuck together."
Y/N carefully looked over her shoulder, but she couldn't see anyone in front of the castle. What should she do now? She had to stay calm and hope that Alex made a mistake. Calling for help was not an option. That might cause Alex to react frantically and she would put herself in danger.
"So I had to wait for a suitable opportunity again. Unfortunately, it seemed to take longer than I thought. After a month, I already felt like I had to come up with something more drastic. Separate you somehow or something. But then your family came to visit and luck was on my side again."
"The statue..." Y/N realized.
"Exactly!" Alex smiled, but not for long. "It took forever to cut the damn thing off without anyone noticing. And when you were finally in the right place, I dropped it. But of course Ellen, our head mom, had to notice and save you."
The contempt with which he uttered the last sentence was written all over his face. He came another step closer and Y/N's heart began to race in her chest. She kept her eyes on the knife.
"So I had to get creative again and look where we are now, just one day later."
"You... you don't have to do this." she stuttered, still keeping her eyes on Alex.
"Aahh, see? You're wrong there." Alex shifted his stance slightly to the side. "That's all I have to do."
And then he leapt forward and swung the knife.
"Dean! Sam!" Millie shouted as she came running into the dining hall.
Sam was up on his feet first. "Millie? What's wrong?"
"It's Alex! The one who is after Y/N! It's Alex!" She came to a halt right infront of Sam.
"What?" All three men said, but not just them.
Ellen stood in the doorway with two other maids and Cassie behind them. All women looked shocked and for a second nobody said a word. But then Sam came back to his sense.
"Wait, how do you know?" He asked.
"I was just upstairs looking for Y/N. She's not feeling well in the last days and I met her in the hallway. We talked and then I went ahead to go down first. But just when I rounded the corner, I heared Alex's voice and I stopped in my tracks." Now she was looking at Sam. "He had said to her that he just had been up on the tower with you."
Dean didn't need to hear anything more. With a determined look on his face, he jumped up and immediately made his way upstairs. Sam and Benny also started running when Millie called for Sam again.
"He had a big kitchen knife with him!"
Now Sam's expression darkened. He turned around once more to take a loaded shotgun from the cupboard next to the stairs and then continued upstairs.
At the last second, Y/N managed to dodge it with a jump, but that brought her to the edge of the tower wall. Alex, on the other hand, almost fell to the ground, but was just able to catch himself. But now pure anger was visible on his face.
"Why are you doing this?" Y/N asked and got back on her feet.
Now Alex looked at her a little astonished. "You really still don't know that?"
Y/N kept her back to the wall and Alex came to a stop just a few steps away from her. The door was now behind him again. The woman infront of him only shook her head no.
Alex huffed. "Well, for Cassie, of course!" he said, looking like it was the most logical answer in the world.
What he didn't notice was the door behind him opening quietly and carefully. Y/N, however, saw it all too well and hoped he wouldn't notice.
"So... did she put you up to it?"
"What? No! Oh god, no. She has no idea about it."
Now the barrel of a gun was visible and then Y/N saw two green eyes directed at her. She would recognize these eyes anywhere and her heart leapt with hope. Still, she had to tear her gaze away from the door and force herself not to look there anymore.
"But I... thought you would love her?"
"I do! That's why I'm doing this!" Alex exclaimed.
"That... does not make sense... don't you think?" tried Y/N to distract him.
"Of course it does!" But when Alex looked at her face he realized that she really didn't understand what he meant and so he started to explain it to her.
"I love Cassie and I want her to be happy. Unfortunately, she doesn't love me, which I can't change. But she loves Dean and she said herself that she can only be happy with him."
Okay, that wasn't anything new for Y/N, but somehow she had a bad feeling about what he was getting at.
"But as long as you're here, she won't be able to be happy with Dean and that's why I have to kill you. So that Cassie can finally take this chance and be happy."
Meanwhile, Dean had stepped through the door and had the shotgun aimed at Alex's head. Behind him, Y/N noticed that Sam and Benny were also there and seemed to be getting ready.
"But if you kill me, Dean will marry Helena. Because that's who he originally wanted to marry, not me."
Now Alex thought for a moment, but quickly recovered. "If it really comes to that, I'll think of something. But now shut up and let me finally kill you!"
The young man was just about to jump forward again when he heard Dean's voice behind him.
"I'd think about that again, son of a bitch!"
Alex looked back in shock, but didn't even have time to take another step. The shot from the gun could be heard across the entire castle. It hit Alex right between the eyes, causing him to stumble backwards a few steps and then fall over the tower wall.
Dean didn't waste another second, dropped the gun to the ground and ran straight to Y/N. He took her face in his hands and saw tears forming in her eyes.
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"
"No, he did not hurt me. I'm fine, Dean."
But then Y/N broke down. She began to sob wildly, letting her tears flow freely and clinging to Dean. He immediately took her in his arms and held her tightly while giving her a kiss on her hairline.
"It's over." Dean reassured her. "It's finally all over."
It took a little longer until everyone was back down from the tower. Especially since Y/N didn't want to let go of Dean. He took her down to the kitchen, where Ellen had already prepared a hot cup of tea for her. He slowly released her from his arms so she could sit on a chair. Y/N had calmed down a bit, but her tears hadn't all dried up yet. Ellen touched her lightly on the shoulder and pushed the cup a little closer to her.
"Drink this. It calms the nerves." which in turn meant that Ellen had put a sip of whiskey in the tea. "I'll leave you alone then." and with a gentle smile she disappeared.
"Dean..." Y/N begann, but she did not come very far.
"I'm sorry!" He blurted out. "I'm sorry about everything!"
Y/N had expected everything, but not that. And so she stayed quiet for a moment because she didn't know what to answer or how to react. But she didn't have to wait long for an explanation, because Dean looked at her determinedly and continued.
"I should have believed you. All of this... is so damned my fault. It's only because of me that you got into this situation." He ran his hand through his hair. "Just because I was such an idiot..."
"Dean..." she tried again, but even on the second attempt she didn't get very far.
"I love you." now Y/N was stunned and her eyes widened in utter surprise. "I love you since the first time I Iaid eyes on you."
Again, Y/N felt emotions rising within her and she looked closely at Dean. But she could see nothing but honesty and sincerity in his eyes and so she just let him continue talking.
"But I was just too blind to see it. It took me so long to really see it and so much had to happen for me to finally see it clearly. Sam and Benny also had to talk to me so that I could see my mistakes. But now I know, I know for sure."
Y/N was holding her breath, the tea long forgotten.
"When I look at you, I see the future and I guess I always have. I think I was just too cowardly to admit it to myself. But now I never want to give it up again. I want to spend my life with you, until the end of our days."
And Dean was completely serious. Deep down he knew that was exactly what he was feeling. He was wearing his heart on his sleeve, but the longer Y/N remained silent, the more he became afraid that it might already be too late. But then his wife started sobbing again before she spoke.
"I would be careful with what you say because if you really mean it... then I swear you will never get rid of me." and then she smiled at Dean, while relief and happiness flooded through him at these words.
"I couldn't imagine anything better."
A/N: Aaaand we're done! I'm happy and sad at the same time. 🥹🥹🥹 But I was thinking... since we had so many up's and down's, who would want an epiloge? 🫣 Feedback is very much appreciated! 💜

"Dean, what are you doing?"
"Oh, c'mon. Noones's here." he whispered into Y/N's ear while he pressed himself against her back.
"But we're in the kitchen."
Y/N could feel how Dean was reaching for the hem of her dress to pull it up and she wiggled a little out of his grip to turn around. He sported a big smirk on his face before he kissed her and pressed against her again. His cock was now fully awake and she felt herself getting wet just from thinking about it.
For a moment she gave in to him and noone was here. They were alone and Y/N had to say that she was really tempted. She would almost do anything for this man she loved and sometimes it was almost to much since he started to be so open towards her.
It had been two weeks since the night they shared the bed with eachother again and Y/N still could not believe the outcome of it.
From the next morning, Dean was changed. As if the icy wall he had built between them had collapsed and disappeared. He didn't even want to let her get up, exchanged caresses straight away and almost never left her side all day. And Y/N had soaked up all the attention he gave her like a sponge. Not knowing when it would end again.
But it didn't. With each new day it continued and he seemed to really see her now and really want to get to know her. The sexual attraction that already existed between them definitely helped and Y/N felt like she was getting better at it. And even if she seemed to be doing something wrong, that didn't stop Dean from continuing. He simply showed her how to do it properly without making her feel ashamed of her ignorance. He was a really good teacher.
"Alright." Dean grabbed her hand and brought her out of the kitchen down a small hallway to a larder.
He let her go in first and then closed the door behind him. Y/N had to giggle. She would never have dreamed that they would both get this far. The affection and tenderness he gave her made her heart almost burst with happiness. Finally it felt like they were real lovers.
Within a few seconds his hands were back on her and he pressed himself against Y/N again. He sought hers with his lips and kissed her hungrily. It didn't take Y/N long to throw all her concerns overboard. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and ran her hands through his hair.
"What if someone comes in?" She uttered between kisses.
Dean's hands made their way from her ass to her thighs. "Then maybe we should hurry up." He replied with his smirk and picked Y/N up to place her on a small table.
A startled sound escaped Y/N, but she quickly caught herself. She pulled her dress up and spread her legs while Dean pushed up his kilt. A moment later he sank his cock into Y/N's warm and wet heat until their hips pressed together. They both moaned in satisfaction and Dean wasted no time. His thrusts were quick and passionate.
Every time Y/N was surprised at how good it felt to feel Dean inside her. She loved this connection that they made each time again almost as much as she loved her husband. In these moments she felt closest to him, as if they were inseparable and she was sure that she could no longer do without him.
It didn't take long for the orgasm to build in both of them. Meanwhile, the table Y/N was sitting on was rhythmically hitting the wall, adding to the background noise. And then they both came loud and hard. If anyone was near the kitchen now, they would definitely have heard them. But now it didn't matter, because while Y/N slowly came down from her high, she enjoyed the warm feeling that his semen caused in her. It would still leak out of her in half an hour.
Later that afternoon, Dean and Y/N came back from the stables holding hands. They laughed and talked and it was obvious to everyone else they met that they were now happy. They showed their affection for each other quite openly, but no one seemed to mind. At least no one except Cassie.
A little further away, the young woman stood with Alex and looked over. But when Dean put his arm around Y/N's shoulder, pulled her close and gave her a kiss on the temple, she turned around, rolling her eyes. She placed the basket with the herbs she had collected from the garden on the floor.
“Can’t they do this behind closed doors?” she said annoyed.
"They've broken the ice between them. That's good." Alex replied.
Cassie just huffed. That just wasn't fair. She had liked Dean for so long and had never hidden it. At first Dean hadn't seemed reluctant, but he hadn't really taken it into account either. So Cassie stuck with it. But her hopes were quickly dashed when she heard that he had found great interest in another woman.
"She's not supposed to be here!" Cassie crossed her arms over her chest. "She's the wrong bride! And yet she gets Dean!"
Alex looked from Cassie back to Y/N and Dean, who were disappearing into the castle.
"They seem happy. And isn't that the most important thing?"
"I wanted to be happy too!" Cassie exclaimed. "Most of all, I wanted to be happy with Dean!"
Anger had built up inside Cassie. Y/N was at Dean's side in her place. She should be the lady of this clan now. Rule at his side and become the mistress of the house. Instead, Dean barely glanced at her.
"But as long as she's here, I won't be able to be happy." She looked at the ground and kicked a small stone away from her with her foot. “It’s such a shame that the thing with the package didn’t drive Y/N away.”
Alex looked at her a little shocked, but didn't say anything. Cassie released her arms again and turned her back to the castle.
"It's such a shame that I don't know who was behind it."
"Why...why that?" Alex asked cautiously.
"Because then I could tell the person that they need to think of something more violent. And it looks like I'm not the only one who doesn't actually want Y/N here. We could... maybe work together. "
"Are you serious?" Alex's eyes widened.
"Why not?" she grinned.
Silence spread between the two of them. Alex knew Cassie could be stubborn. And even though she was so focused on Dean, he still liked her. Only she didn't seem to see it.
"Don't you think... that maybe it would be better to finally let go of Dean? There are... so many other men out there."
"Weren't you listening to me, Alex?" Cassie asked angrily. "I want Dean! I can only be happy with him! But as long as Y/N is here, it won't happen."
Just as Y/N was about to walk up the stairs with Dean, she heard a quiet sob. Not quite sure whether she had just misheard, she stopped and listened again. Dean also stopped and looked at her questioningly. But before Y/N could say anything, she could hear it again and Dean noticed it too.
They both took a few steps around the stairs and saw where the noise was coming from. Millie was sitting in the alcove under the stairs and she was crying. She had hidden herself well, but she had not been able to make herself completely invisible. She wiped the tears from her face and tried to calm herself down when she saw Y/N and Dean.
"So... I..." Dean stammered somewhat awkwardly and pointed slightly wildly at the stairs. "I'm... going... upstairs."
Y/N had to smile. It was really sweet to see this slightly shy side of Dean. She watched him as he walked quickly upstairs. Once he was out of earshot, she turned her attention fully to her friend.
"Millie! What happened?" Y/N asked, sitting down next to her friend.
"Oh... it's... it's nothing." Millie stuttered, trying not to cry again.
"You can tell that someone else, Millie, but not me." Y/N looked at her seriously and Millie started sobbing again.
"I think... I ruined everything." Millie wiped the new tears from her cheeks.
Y/N really couldn't see her friend like that. She took her in her arms and hugged her. Millie was only too happy to return the hug and noticed how it helped her to calm down again. After a few minutes the friends broke apart and looked at each other.
"So. Now tell me what happened." Y/N asked, but somehow Millie still didn't seem to want to talk about it. But then Y/N had an idea. "Does it...maybe have something to do with Sam?"
Millie's eyes filled with tears again as she nodded slowly. Now Y/N was a bit surprised.
"But I thought you liked each other. Did something happen?"
"He... he told me that... he had feelings... for me." Millie replied quietly.
"But that's good! Finally you know that he feels the same way about you too."
"And... and he asked me, if I want to... marry him next summer."
"Oh my god!" Y/N was surprised and she smiled at her friend happily. "That is awesome!"
She had known that Millie really liked Sam by now. She had a full on crush on the tall but younger Winchester. And from what she observed, he like her too. They were together as much as they could and everytime the women were alone Y/N always wanted to know every new detail in hopes Millie would find love too. And now it looked like her friend would finally get it, but she did not seem happy about it.
"I said 'no'." She revealed.
"What? Why?" Now Y/N was stunned.
Millie seemed reluctant to answer that question and Y/N did not want to push her. But she felt that it layed heavy on her heart and she waited patiently for her to be ready to talk about it.
"If I would say 'yes' and marry Sam... then we would be equal. It would elevate my position. I would no longer be a maid and..."
"Hold on a minute." Y/N sais confused, but Millie kept talking.
"... that is not right. I am your maid and what would the others of this clan say if I married Sam. That doesn't work."
"Are you serious right now? Millie..."
Y/N wasn’t expecting that. And she didn't think her friend would see it that way. Yes, she was her maid, but Y/N had never seen her like that. Millie was her friend and she had never treated her differently.
"We have been friends since we were six and I have never made a distinction between us. Yes, you are my maid, but I have never seen you as such. You have always been more than that to me."
For her Millie has always been like a sister. Especially after she no longer got along very well with her own sister Helena over time. When her mother Claire died, Millie always supported her. The tragic event had torn a big hole in her heart and Millie had helped to heal it, because she could not expect support from either Helena or her father. Claire had been the heart of her clan, everyone liked and respected her. But after her death, something was always missing. Y/N didn’t like thinking back to that time.
"Y/N..."
"So forget what the others say! You have a right to your happiness too. And you love Sam, don't you?"
Millie didn't answer immediately, but a moment later she nodded in the affirmative.
"Then go for it! You're one of the most important people in my life and I want you to be happy! Apart from that..." now Y/N grinned. "You weren't particularly subtle about hiding your affection for each other. Everyone could see it." she winked.
"And...and you really wouldn't mind?" Millie asked again, a little unsure.
"Of course not! It would be an honor to have you as a sister-in-law." and now Y/N got a little emotional.
Millie also smiled warmly and her tears were forgotten for the moment. But her smile disappeared shortly afterwards.
"But I really think I screwed up with Sam. I... I wasn't exactly nice and..."
"Oh, I don't think so." Y/N interrupted, nudging her friend lightly with her shoulder. "He's completely infatuated with you. I know that from Dean. He teased his brother about it when we got married."
"Really?" Millie asked surprised and Y/N nodded.
"Just explain it to him. He'll understand."
When Y/N opened the bedroom door and spotted Dean sitting at the table reading a letter, she had to grin. She closed the door behind her and walked towards her husband. He had already looked up after hearing the door open and stood up when Y/N came over to him.
"You need to talk to Sam tomorrow. We might have a wedding in the summer next year." she grinned as Dean's eyes widened slightly.
"So did he talk to Millie? She didn't seem very... happy."
"Yeah, it's a little complicated. But not so complicated that it can't be saved."
Y/N came to a stop in front of Dean and was about to hug him when he took two steps back, putting some distance between the two of them again. This confused her and Y/N frowned.
"Is... everything ok?"
"I don't know." At this statement, Y/N opened her mouth, but before she could say anything, Dean handed her the letter. "It's from your father. He and Helena are coming to visit us tomorrow."
A/N: So. Now we know that Cassie ist NOT our mystery person. But who is it then? 🤔 And what will happen with Helena and her father visiting them? See you next week! Let me know what you think. Feedback is very much appreciated! 💜

Something had changed. Within a few hours, Dean became more distant again. At first Y/N thought it was just because of the letter. They had both lost sight of the fact that they would definitely see Y/N's family again at some point. But when Y/N's shock wore off, she wanted to see if Dean felt the same way. However, he had withdrawn from her again. When she asked if everything was okay, he only answered briefly and then left their bedroom. That had left Y/N with an uneasy feeling.
It was late at night when Dean returned. Without a word, he got into bed with her, but turned his back to her. This brought tears to Y/N’s eyes. They had only just found each other. The affection they had built was still fragile. They were just beginning. Their relationship, if you could call it that, wasn't yet solid. Yes, Y/N loved Dean. But did he now feel the same way? She didn't know.
Still, the next morning came quicker than Y/N had hoped. With each passing hour she became more afraid. What would happen if Dean saw Helena again? Would his feelings for her flare up again? His anger about the wrong wedding too? Would he realize that he was just passing his time with Y/N? Made the best of an unchangeable situation? Would he reject her again?
Y/N stood at the window and looked out at the street. At some point Ellen joined her. The women didn't speak to each other, but Y/N knew that Ellen understood what was going on with her. At some point they heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs and both turned around. When Dean saw the two women, his pace slowed.
"Can you... see them yet?"
"No. Everything is still quiet." Ellen answered him.
Dean just nodded and then wanted to go outside, but Y/N couldn't just let him go.
"Dean!"
The man stopped, his eyes a little wide, but when he saw Y/N approaching him, his gaze seemed to soften a little. Or Y/N was just imagining it. She stopped a few steps in front of him, unsure if he would even allow physical contact. But since Dean's hand didn't reach out to her, she preferred to play it safe. She smiled timidly at him, but all the words that had been on the tip of her tongue were gone. After a moment, Dean cleared his throat slightly and folded his arms behind him.
"I..." Y/N began, but again she faltered in her words. "You... you came to bed late." That wasn't what she wanted to say.
"Yes, I... Benny needed my help with Rika. She had her foal."
"What? Really?" Now Y/N was really surprised, because this pregnancy had not been an easy one.
"She had a healthy daughter."
Y/N was really happy about that and her face seemed to show it, because Dean was now grinning warmly. And somehow this news managed to make both of them take a step towards each other.
"Why didn't you tell me that when you came up?"
"I didn't want to wake you. You slept so peacefully."
He couldn't see through the darkness that that wasn't true. And yet it touched Y/N's heart and they exchanged an intense look. Then Dean lifted his hand, almost as if he wanted to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, but he didn't get around to it.
"They're here!" Ellen announced, still standing at the window and letting the ominous news sink in.
Three hours later, Y/N wanted nothing more than to be somewhere else. It was unbelievable how quickly you could slip back into old roles.
As soon as Helena stepped out of the carriage, she attracted everyone's attention. She was friendly to everyone, greeted everyone warmly and her laughter could be heard almost everywhere. She was an apparition, as always. And Y/N disappeared into the background again. As always. She had now forgotten what it was like to be invisible and remembering it again brought back her insecurities and made her afraid to stand by Dean's side.
But even if she had taken her place next to her husband, she was no longer sure whether he would have even noticed. Helena had Dean completely occupied and he seemed to enjoy the attention she was giving him. In the meantime he had shown her his property and finished the tour at the stable. There they stood at the fence and talked. Y/N stood nearby and tried to look over at the two of them inconspicuously.
"So this is your sister Helena." Benny suddenly stood next to her and looked suspiciously at Dean and the blonde woman.
Y/N was slightly startled. "Yes. Yes, she is."
"The woman Dean actually wanted to marry."
"Exactly..."
"How many years younger than you?"
"Four."
"Hmm..."
Silence fell between the two friends as they continued to look at the fence. But Y/N had to avert her gaze at some point. Her uneasy feeling hadn't gone away and it hurt a little to see the two of them together.
"As good a businessman as he is..." Benny said after a few minutes. "...he sometimes has so little idea about women."
"What do you mean?" Y/N asked in surprise.
"She's too obvious." Now Benny also turned away and looked at Y/N. "The exuberant way. That exuberant laugh. And if Dean doesn't pay attention to her for a moment, her mask falls a little. But only until Dean looks at her again."
Now Y/N looked at Benny in surprise and he grinned. "Your sister isn't quite as inconspicuous as she thinks." he winked.
"Benny? I really like you." and suddenly she didn't feel quite so invisible next to her sister.
The blonde man laughed and crossed his arms infront of his chest. "Well, thank you."
"How is the foal doing?" Y/N now wanted to know.
"She's doing really great. We only need a name for her.
"Y/N?" called Millie as she was coming over to her and Benny. "Y/N!"
She looked a little worried as she came to a stop in front of Y/N and Benny. "Your father is looking for you. He wants to talk to you."
She felt uneasy and wanted to look over at Dean, but she didn't. At the moment he only had eyes for Helena again and probably wouldn't even notice what was happening and how Y/N was doing. Of course that didn't make it any better.
So she simply went back into the castle and immediately found her father standing next to the stairs. She wasn't exactly looking forward to a conversation, but she wouldn't be able to change it. As soon as he saw her, he reached out to lightly grab Y/N by the upper arm and pull her closer to him.
"So? How's it going?" he also asked directly.
"What...what do you mean?"
"Well, with Dean! Are you keeping him happy? You're not embarrassing me, are you?"
Y/N couldn’t answer that straight away. That he even had the nerve to ask that? Had he forgotten that they were all in this situation because of Helena?
"I mean, of course he won't be happy. After all, you're not the woman he actually wanted. But that doesn't mean you have to make things worse."
"I'm sorry, what?" she blurted out.
The door opened and Helena came in. Speaking of the devil. She had a big smile on her face and looked around with her arms outstretched.
"It's really so beautiful here. I never imagined it would be like that."
"It is, isn't it?" Her father chimed in. "Where did you leave Dean?"
"Oh, he's still outside with... with..." Helena thought about it, but quickly gave up. "...with whoever is in charge of the stable. Something with one of the horses."
Benny. She meant Benny. Her sister could be so ignorant sometimes. And then Y/N remembered Benny’s words.
"Helena?" she jumped right in. "Can we talk? Alone?"
Then Helena just nodded and Y/N led her into one of the unused side rooms that were usually only used for celebrations. She closed the door behind her and took a deep breath. Helena seemed to have no idea what was going on or what her sister might want from her.
"What are you doing?" Y/N asked after a couple of seconds.
"What?" Helena looked at her rather confused.
"Well, let me rephrase. Why are you even here?" Y/N asked again, a little more upset.
"What's the point of this question? I'm your sister!"
Helena said it like it was the most logical thing in the world. As if it explains her behavior. But Y/N knew she was trying to distract. However, she wouldn't succeed.
"And where is Peter?" Now Helena's face hardened a little. "Shouldn't you be with him? Or shouldn't he at least be here with you?"
"The thing with Peter and me... didn't work out." Helena answered briefly, but Y/N could see the emotions in her eyes.
"What do you mean, it didn't work out? You ran away! He was obliged to marry you!"
After all, Helena had already been promised. So Peter had to answer for this act. Regardless of whether it was Helena's idea or not. She had been on her way to another man. Not only did her reputation suffer, but also that of her family. Her feelings had determined her fate and now she had to come to terms with them.
"But he couldn't do that because he was already married!" the younger woman blurted out.
This was news that even Y/N hadn't expected. Helena had fallen for a fraud.
"He's been married for almost six years. He also has a child..." Helena looked down and played with her fingers a little nervously. "...But they probably didn't get along anymore. So...he left her. And then he sought refuge with us."
Y/N could still remember that. He had joined the clan four years ago and had arrived desperately asking for work.
"You can't imagine what happened when she suddenly burst through the door into the pastor's house with the little boy on her hand..."
"Helena!" Y/N interrupted her sister a little harshly. "Did you even know him?"
"He really loved me!" she replied just as harshly. "And I loved him too!"
Y/N was at a loss for words. For once she believed her sister. Even if her actions were pretty stupid. The heart was easily deceived, but that didn't make the feelings any less real. Y/N in particular understood this all too well. Still, it wasn't entirely clear to her why Helena was here now.
"Okay, but... at the risk of repeating myself... why are you here now?"
"Father didn't want to leave me alone and thought it would be better if I came here too."
Which in turn meant that he was afraid she would do something stupid or run away again. Y/N could understand that too, but it still didn't explain her behavior.
"I understand that... but it doesn't explain your behavior towards Dean. In case you've forgotten... I'm married to him now."
Now Helena grinned. "Oh, sis. Are you jealous?"
"What? No, I..."
"You don't have to be. He's just... showing me everything here."
Something about the way she said it didn’t sit well with Y/N. "If it's really just that, then why don't you leave his side anymore?"
Helena didn't answer immediately, as if she were struggling with herself. But then she sighed briefly and took a few steps towards Y/N. As if she wanted to tell her a secret.
"You know, I'm really grateful to you for helping me and stepping in for me. You not only helped me, but also our father. But... well... after things with Peter ended so unexpectedly... I've been thinking about a lot of things."
Y/N frowned. A foreboding feeling rose within her and she knew she wouldn't like what came next.
"Maybe I was too blind, too narrow-minded. I never gave Dean a real chance, you know? Because I was always focused on Peter. But now... I just think that maybe it's for the best to take this burden off of your shoulders again."
"What?" Shock spread through the older woman.
"After all, Dean only wanted me from the start. And you said it yourself: YOU are not the right bride! So maybe it would make sense for everything to finally take its right course."
"You... you can't be serious!" Y/N felt a chill run down her spine and fear spread through her.
"Yes, of course! And as you can see, Dean still doesn't mind me either. I think that would be best for all of us."
The next three days passed almost like a blur. Every day was almost the same and Y/N felt with every passing hour that Dean was moving further and further away from her. He hardly looked at her anymore because Helena continued to demand attention from him and didn't seem to want to let up. When they were in the same room or in the shared bedroom in the evening, Dean hardly spoke to her anymore. He rejected every attempt on her part to get closer. He didn't seem to notice that he was hurting her again with his behavior, which reminded her so much of their early days.
So Y/N also withdrew more and more. She tried to avoid her family as much as possible. She couldn't stand her father's lectures or Helena's attempt to win Dean back. Millie had said that she should fight for Dean and she had tried. But Dean had put up the wall between them again and behaved almost as if Y/N didn't exist. At least that's how it seemed to her.
On top of all that, the feeling that she was being followed had become stronger again. She had to suppress the urge to constantly look over her shoulder, even though she always got goosebumps when she was alone somewhere. The climax was not long in coming.
Y/N had watched Dean and Helena disappear on a ride when she had walked a few steps along the castle wall so as not to lose sight of them. A torture that she had consciously inflicted on herself, but she had not been able to help it.
She did not know how long she had watched the two of them, but suddenly she heard Ellen calling her name loudly. She looked over at the older woman, who was gesticulating wildly and running towards her. So Y/N looked up and saw that one of the large stone figures that were attached to the edge of the tower above her had fallen directly on her. Y/N was only just able to jump to the side and remained unharmed.
After that, she couldn't take it anymore. It was just too much. She started to cry and her whole body was shaking. Someone really had it in for her and Dean didn't care. Ellen tried to calm her down, helped Y/N up and took her inside to the kitchen. There she sat the young woman down at the table and filled her a cup of wine.
But Y/N could hardly calm down for a long time. She didn't want to be alone again. Not after Dean had let her get so close to him. And then there was the attempt on her life. All of this couldn't be true.
"Take a sip, Y/N. It calms your nerves." Ellen tried again.
"But I don't want to drink anything," Y/N blurted out. "I want this to all end. I want Dean to finally open his eyes and come back to me."
An understanding look graced Ellen's face and she hugged Y/N lightly. It wasn't easy for her to watch all of this either. And she would have to talk to Sam and Benny as soon as possible if they hadn't heard about the incident already.
"I miss my mum so much," Y/N whispered, but Ellen had understood her. "She would have known exactly what to do now."
And that was true. Y/N hadn't had it easy from the start after Helena was born. She had shed a lot of tears in her whole life and even though her mother had loved them both equally, she had always taken a little more care of Y/N.
"And what would she have done to cheer you up?" Ellen wanted to know.
Y/N laughed quietly. "She would have made me some warm milk and told me that everything would be fine. Before she told me some funny story from her childhood."
"Well, I can also help you with some warm milk." Ellen winked and went over to the stove. "She sounds very nice."
"She was wonderful." Y/N answered and her tears began to dry up. "Everyone liked her."
"May I ask how she died?" Ellen asked carefully as she filled a pot with milk, put it on the stove and lit the fire.
Y/N did not answer immediately. "She was ill. No one could say exactly what was wrong with her, but within a year she lost a lot of weight. She became weaker and weaker until at some point she could no longer even stand up." Sadness overcame her again and she looked down. "The morning she died, the first snow of the year fell..."
So it wasn't long until the anniversary of her mother's death. Ellen didn't know what to say. Silence spread between the two women as they waited for the milk to warm up. After it had reached the right temperature, Ellen added a little cinnamon and handed Y/N a cup, for which she thanked her.
"I know I'm not your mother and I don't want to replace her. But I definitely know one thing." Now Y/N looked at the woman across from her. "You have to talk to Dean. And you can't let him fob you off. Make him listen to you. For both of your sakes."
And Y/N knew that Ellen was right. She had to at least try it again. After all, something had changed between them. He had also felt attracted to her. She was sure of that. So she made her way upstairs shortly afterwards. When Dean came back from riding, he always went to their bedroom first to change. So she would wait for him there and confront him.
But when she got upstairs and walked straight to the door, she saw Alex who had already opened it and was carefully looking inside. That was strange, because he would normally never just open the door like that. Especially not when neither of them was inside.
"Alex?" asked Y/N and saw the young man slightly startled. "What are you doing?"
"Oh! Y/N!" he quickly closed the door again and scratched the back of his head slightly nervously. "I... I'm looking for Dean. But when I knocked, no one answered. So I just wanted to see if he was sleeping. I couldn't find him anywhere."
That made more sense. Especially since they had a situation like that just a few weeks ago. Dean hadn't been very happy about being rudely roused from a nap.
"He's not here. He went horseback riding with Helena."
"Oh. Okay. Then I'll just wait for him outside. Sorry again."
"It's fine, Alex." Y/N assured him and watched the young man go down the stairs.
After he disappeared from Y/N's sight, the young woman took another deep breath. She had a plan and this time Dean wouldn't get away from her so easily.
A/N: Our girl is going to fight for Dean again. Let's just hope he'll realize that it will be his second chance to her heart. 🫣
