Please pray for my family. Two days ago we lost my great uncle and yesterday we lost my Aunt’s second husband.

My great uncle passed away in public beside his wife. She’s understandably distraught. My younger aunt and her family are taking his daughter home to help.

My older Aunt’s husband was supposed to have several more weeks, if not months, and passed suddenly yesterday right before my mom came to visit. My Aunt is… she’s not taking it well. She’s lost two husbands in less than 10 years and her coping method is to run away. My mom stayed with her last night,

Please pray for my family, my Aunt and Great Aunt in particular, that they may find comfort and consolation in this time of grief and still find joy this holiday season with the family we still have.

And pray for the repose of the soul for both my Great Uncle Charlie and for Allen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Life lately

Having to chase down the other drivers insurance company, because they are dragging their feet. They still haven’t come out and looked at the damage. Car is rusting now. Accident was on 11/18

My psychiatrist keeps canceling my appointments, so I had a beg for them to refill my meds while I find another one. Working with my therapist to find someone whose not affiliated with Talkiatry.

Found out on Monday that my almost 10 year old beagle may have the beginning stages of kidney disease. Not to mention the back issues he already has. My other dogs and one of my cats have heart murmurs that I’m getting looked at next month.

Im working both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I’ve never worked Christmas Day, so it’s a weird feeling. Thankfully I’m making decent money and work is feeding me.

Missing my family. Probably wouldn’t be so much if I had been able to visit for thanksgiving.

So yeah, I think my panic attack was justified. I’ve been carrying a lot for a while.

I have noticed something while watching the latest update of this year's Halloween event... Spoilers below!

In this part, where Skully expresses his dislike for evil ghosts and says they should be banished, all the NRC guys go "😡😡", giving him a death glare, basically calling him and his views brutish and undignified, and give him a lecture about how ghosts visiting on Halloween should be treated with hospitality etc. All this without asking him why he thinks the way he does, of course.

Then, I remembered Endless Halloween/Spectral Soirée...

And then there are dozens of angst concepts to think about...... lots of plots to put him in where it's a Victorian Era and he's an eccentric gentleman!!!! Even silly and lighthearted concepts where you fact-check your history assignments with the local Ramshackle haunt. I thought HALLOWEENIE and Thing would be the only Skully fics I write for him, but I was not expecting to fall for his loserboy puppyboy cutie sweetheart charms... I need to feed the Skully tapeworm, so there's bound to be more Skully stuff in the foreseeable future. :D
