Anyways I agree. I feel like it makes sense that even though skylor was abused she still loved her father. Thats unfortunately why a lot of abused kids stay with there parents to try to make it work. But I also wish skylor had more agency in choosing to go against her father other than “boy told me to”.

Speaking of which I do wish we saw more of skylors social life outside of whatever *he* shows us. It genuinely makes alot of sense for skylor to have some connection to the other ninja in some way. The only indicator of ppl she hangs out with is chamillie and that’s it. I want to see her have a group of friends that are completely detached from the ninja. Like regulars at her restaurant.

Love seeing "x reader" stuff that seems like its gonna be gender neutral righhhhht until the last part. Like thanks really love that now i feel dysphoric cause i was picturing myself and then you made it female. Like i get your audience is primarily women but like way to exclude people. If youre gonna make "x reader" stuff shouldnt it be gender neutral so anyone can relate to it or put themself in that place? And to avoid exactly what happened to me? Like if youre not gonna make it gender neutral honestly whatever make the content youre gonna i cant stop you but dont goade people in with a false sense of security at the beginning to just pull the rug out from under their feet. Like at least make it obvious.

1. The sadness of things :

Contains dark themes of love, loss and a looott of very hard hitting therapy facts. One of the most complex and piece of literature I have come across. I recommend this to everyone and not just fanfic readers as this can be very well a standalone piece of literature.

Sunshyngal was, is and continues to be one of my most favorite mutual and writer. Here is a list of her work links. If she reads this , Shynie I miss you so much 🫂💋🤺

2. The 10 series: READ THE WARNINGS before reading the series!!! Easily one of the most uncomfortable I've ever been while reading. Though I'm not a horror / thriller fan at all but this series made me hug my mom. Which is an indication of the amount of brilliance in it's writing. If you like this genre, do check out other works of the author as well!

3. The love after : Deals with themes of loss and love. Very talented writer , and a rare fiction series where the characters being werewolves has an actual meaning in the writing and it is an important, complex theme throughout the story. This made me change my views on mourning a relationship.

4. Four seven eight: An actual movie script imo, JK and OC are so so cute in this series! But I love this because all the easy tropes for separating couples, all the juicy types of " misunderstandings " are Righhhhht there and still JK and OC behave like ADULTS and navigate through the world with clarity and maturity. I'm especially in love with the kiddo in the series as well 💕💕💕

5. Mutual Help: Icon. Cultural reset. 10/10 Netflix series material. Would watch TF out of it if it's done right. Golden was released right during this was being written ( and still is ) and I genuinely thought the songs are based on this JK 🤺🤺. This is the most closest to what JK actually is like, I think.
