Taking to her Instagram stories, Riddhima dropped pictures featuring Ranbir and other family members. The first picture is from Alia-Ranbir's wedding functions where the Barfi actor was seen holding a photo frame of his father Rishi Kapoor. Ranbir was seen wearing a red kurta pyjama.

Sharing the picture, she wrote, "Happy happiest birthday baby bro", with pink heart emojis. The other picture features the married couple Ranbir-Alia along with Soni Razdan, Mahesh Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Bharat Sahni and Ridhhima.

"We love you so much," she captioned the photo. Ranbir turned 40 today. Samara, who is the daughter of Ranbir’s sister Ridhhima Kapoor Sahni, took to social media on Wednesday, to share pictures from Ranbir and Alia’s wedding with a sweet message for her Alia mami. Samara has a popular Instagram account, which is managed by her mom Riddhima. On the account, the 11-year-old shared two pictures in a post on Wednesday evening. The first picture showed Alia and Ranbir posing at the wedding while the second one had the bride and the groom with the rest of the Kapoor family, including Samara. She captioned the post, “Welcome to the family Alia mami @aliaabhatt I love you so much.”

The adorable post saw Ranbir’s mother actor Neetu Kapoor comment, “Awww this is the sweetest.” She added several heart emojis after the comment. Riddhima also dropped several heart emojis in the comment section. Samara is the daughter of Riddhima and her husband, businessman Bharat Sahni. She was born in 2011.

Alia and Ranbir tied the knot on April 14 at his Bandra home Vastu in a small, intimate ceremony. The wedding was held on the balcony of the house, which Alia described as their ‘favourite spot’. The ceremonies were attended by only close friends and family of the couple amid secrecy.

Ranbir and Alia began dating after they started working on Ayan Mukerji’s Bramhastra in 2017. The film also marks the first time they will be seen together on screen. The much-delayed film is finally set to hit the screens this year on September 9. It also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy.

Alia Bhatt tied the knot with Ranbir Kapoor on Thursday - 14th April 2022 in Mumbai at Ranbir's Pali Hill residence which was the Vastu-based venue for the wedding. The wedding was attended by Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shaheen Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Rahul Bhatt,, Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Kareena Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar. Akash Ambani, Sweta Bachchan, and many other big names of the film industry, as well as celebrities, also joined the ceremony amidst the wedding dance.

The couple held their pre-wedding Bollywood Sangeet ceremonies on Wednesday. Ranbir hosted the Mehendi ceremony and Haldi ceremonies at Pali Hill home. The rituals were attended by Karan Johar, Karisma Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and Karan Johar. They complement each other very well and are amazing together.

Alia Bhatt's veil grabbed everyone’s attention as it was made by a well-known fashion designer. It had a message on it that stated the date of the wedding, "The fourteenth April 2022."

Uncut diamond earrings and a necklace were worn by Alia. Both her hands were covered in bangles, and Mehendi. Alia's mangalsutra had black beads and a golden chain. A teardrop-shaped diamond pendant was also included with the infinity symbol. 

Ranbir Kapoor wore an embroider-white silk sherwani made with uncut diamond buttons and silk organza, as well as a silk sofa and scarf.

This is one of the most awaited weddings of the year and the couple looked beautiful with everyone enjoying the wedding dance, Bollywood sangeet, delicious food, and the religious wedding ceremony. We wish all the blessings and congratulations to the newlywed.
