Town Tune: “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher”

About the town name: Since my island is based on Bokura No Kiseki, I treat it as kind of an AU in which Veronica is sent to an isolated island after her time at the Rakedonia Monestary instead of Rheinsburg castle and is slightly older than the age at which she is killed by the invasion in the manga (spoilers to those who haven’t read the manga but honestly that’s a chapter one revelation that all the past lives were killed and that’s how they came to be reincarnated in the first place). Veronica of course named the island after her country as a tie to her homeland despite her isolation.

The flag (which is currently Zelos Wilder from Symphonia) and town tune have absolutely zero to do with the manga and are just because I like them, although I do eventually plan to look through the manga and see if there is any actual Zerestrian or Moswick crests I can use.

The town itself definitely has a more Asian flavor than the manga because of the preferred aesthetic. Medieval Europe is nice but Asia is cooler, I love the zen fences and Asian design elements. There is also a dash of modern convenience in there because of the items available to me, some of them suit my aesthetic tastes. I have no control over what the villagers start with in the houses anyway, so they will definitely have some modern elements.
