So I wasn’t actually sure I’d ever write for him (the whole him being a real person thing always gives me pause) but my heart and soul said Rick Smolan. He would love taking you on all his adventures, he’d love going on hikes and there would be picture after picture of you in different beautiful places. You guys would sit around the campfire and play your guitar and come up with ridiculous would you rather scenarios and he’d love making love to you under all the stars.

 Picture this: 18 year old college freshman me alone in her dorm watching the first season of Girls after being told she would enjoy it (That show is the definition of a hate watch btw)

Seeing the first episode with this guy just walking around shirtless and immediately googling him

And having a hard time deciding whether I thought he was hot or not

Seven years later- joke’s on you girl.

This is your life now

9) Clyde Logan

This movie was 30 minutes longer than it needed to be

Like it could have ended after the climax and I would have liked it 20% more

That being said, he big in this movie

And he’s got scruff

And an accent

  And sort of a mediocre wardrobe that I fuck with

  So it makes the list

Also gave us that interview where he admits to liking cocktails more than beer

8) Last Season of Girls- Adam Sackler

If you thought he was big before, get ready to lose your fucking mind

He is so thick in this season

And god bless him for it

I gave up watching this show after two seasons

But I definitely looked up every sex scene he had

And he’s got some great ones toward the end

Also this might be my ideal slightly redeemed!Ben aesthetic

I have not seen this movie 

But I stand by this pic

He’s just the right amount of scruffy here

And he looks like he would bring his own grocery bags to places

6) Midnight Special!Adam (Paul Sevier)

I should see this movie. It has my other weird bae Michael Shannon in it

Every interview I’ve seen where Adam gets to talk about a dog are the only interview times where he seems to demonstrate actual joy

And the story of how he got Moose is v. cute

His dogs wears booties when it’s cold

And probably has a Christmas stocking

4) SNL Adam

When Adam hosted SNL, it really solidified my gigantic lady boner

His episode had everything

A decently funny monologue with Leslie ogling him (same)

Him singing

Him making out with half the female cast (same)

The porn doctor sketch where he had a shitty barbed wire tattoo

The Starkiller base sketch

This episode  is sacred to me

Bonus shout out to this week’s cut sketch

I also really like his hair at this length although in terms of Ben/Kylo characterization- this is Ben Organa Senator Hair, not Ben Solo smuggler hair

3) Dad!Adam (Dadam?)

This Noah Goddamn Baumbach movie hasn’t even come out yet

And I’m already shook

His clothes are on the cusp of being actually good but they are a bit too nerdy for him and it shows

And we get to see our Professor Ren fantasies come to life

As he wears a cardigan

And is sweet towards a small boy

2) The Force Awakens- Kylo Ren

Picture this: 22 year old me seeing TFA at the midnight premiere

And being a casual SW fan who mostly wants to avoid Star Wars spoilers

And who is slightly inebriated

So when Adam takes off his goddamn helmet, I think I audibly said “oh shit”

Because he looked so pristine

And immediately went home and looked up Reylo fanfiction

All the while, thinking that they might be cousins

But I watch Game of Thrones

I was on board with it even if they were

And then writing a fic that became much more popular than I ever expected

Because the interrogation scene did things to me

1) The Last Jedi- Ben Solo

This is peak lady boner right here

Long-ish emo hair

Puppy dog eyes

A scar that I thought was going to be much bigger post-TFA but Rian wanted to keep him pretty

I literally started drinking a cocktail when he showed up shirtless and it was transcendent

But it isn’t just that

He was so S O F T

And all the headcanons of Dom!Kylo who has fucked his way through the entire galaxy are gone 

And now we have Ben Solo- the boy who will probably faint when Rey kisses him in IX

Ben Solo who was ready to murder the man who ruined his family’s life because a girl touched his hand

1) How many complete fics/one shots do you have that you have not published (yet)? Surprisingly I only have one fic in my completed - unpublished folder. I’m usually a huge hoarder. Oh wait...  The mafia madness. Yeah. So, six and counting? 

2) How many WIPS do you have right now? 6-ish I think. All but two eternity projects. 

3) Do you take writing requests or write original ideas, or both? I’ve only done requests twice, but I’m not opposed to opening them up again at some point. But mostly things that come from my own mind or a prompt challenge.

4) If you do take requests, how many do you currently have? None.

5) How many fandoms do you write for? 3; ADCU, PPCU and TF. I do stray sometimes though

6) Are there any fandoms you wrote for in the past that you no longer write for? So… do old HP fics count? 😅

7) Do you write for ships, reader inserts or other? Mostly reader insert fics, I haven’t tried ship and I currently have one OC story in my wip pile

8) Niche fandoms/characters you write for? For ADCU, Rick Smolan is someone I’d count as a niche character.

9) Do you read fics as well as write them? Omg yessss! I love to read 💕

10) What is your favorite genre to write for? Angst with a happy ending. I’m an emotional and melancholy bean.

11) What is your favorite trope (to read/write)? Just one bed and friends to lovers. Oh and protective SO’s.

12) What do you do to get motivated to write? Hmm. I don’t know actually. I sit down and try to put the words swirling in my brain into paper?

13) Is there a trope/genre you like to read, but not write? So I love A/B/O. But I can’t seem to be able to put it to words. But I will devour those fics when I see them.

14) Any characters/fandoms you want to write for that are never requested? I don’t really get requests so I’m not sure. If I’m in the mood for a certain character, I go for it. Or at least I try.

15) How long have you been writing fan fiction? In here almost two years now. Privately for over half my life.

16) Did you read fan fiction before you started writing? Yes! I’ve read longer than I have written for sure. “

17) Do you only post on Tumblr, or any other sites as well? I have an AO3 account.

18) What do you personally consider the word counts of "Drabble", "One shots" and "fics"? Is there a difference between fics and one shots/drabbles? I think no matter the word count these are all fics.

19) Which do you prefer to write more? HC, drabbles, oneshots/fics, multi chapter stories, other? One shots maybe. I think that’s where my strength lies.

20) Are there any stories you have discontinued? If so, why? Yeah. There are a few fics in my abandoned folder… the reasons very but mostly it’s because I find myself in a corner I can’t move away from.

21) What is one of your main "pet-peeves" as a writer on Tumblr? Definitely the nasty and ungrateful anons that lurk around. And people trying to put others down while lifting someone else up.

22) Do you write a particular time of day? No. I’m a mum of two so my writing happens between short breaks from the two gremlins. Or late at night. Or during a short break at work. Or on a train ride home. Whenever I can squeeze a little time in.

23) Do you listen to music, ambiance/noise, etc to write or do you need silence? I can’t write if music has lyrics in them, so I do prefer silence. But I’m also one of those people who jump between YouTube cooking videos and writing and listening to audiobooks and scrolling this site 😅

24) Do you outline your fics at all before writing?Sometimes but mostly I wing it.

25) Do you post your writing as soon as you finish it, or do you schedule it to come out at a specific time/day? I’m a terrible hoarder so I will hold on to a finished fic until something pries it from my cold, cold hands. So they gather dust in my folders but when I do get around to posting it’s out the door almost immediately once it’s done.
