Rick est-il une version "underground " de Merlin l'Enchanteur ?

 Merlin l’enchanteur, sans doute l’un des personnages les plus connus dans la littérature occidentale…

 Cependant, certaines interrogations demeurent tenaces : qui est-il ? Il semble qu’il s’agisse d’un personnage historiquequi ayant vécu au VIème siècle. Toutefois, jusqu’au XIIème siècle son histoire n’a été transmise que de manière orale.Pourtant, un jour, Geoffroy de Monmouth décide lui de consacrer trois textes : Prophitiae Merlini, Vita Merlini et HistoriaRegum Britanniae[1]. C’est par ces œuvres qu’il se manifeste en tant que célèbre conseiller du roi Arthur. Le personnagedemeure omniprésent dans les dessins animés, la littérature enfantine et adulte, les bds…[2]

 C’est en lisant le mémoire de Gaëlle Zussa que je me suis aperçue que le personnage de Rick Sanchez de la sérieRick et Morty correspondait étrangement à la personnalité et aux attributs de Merlin. Je dis « étrangement », car si monintuition s’avère exacte, le personnage de la série nous est présenté comme étant un savant fou complètement dépravé(Rick Sanchez) aimant un peu trop fort la bouteille. De surcroît, ce Merlin version moderne, embarque constamment sonpetit-fils (Morty) dans des aventures insolites sur d’autres planètes pleines de créatures monstrueuses. Cette série, censéeêtre une parodie de Retour vers le futur connaît rapidement un grand succès. De ce fait, les réalisateurs décident de sedétacher de l'aspect parodique et de développer leurs personnages à part entière.

 Afin d’étayer mon (hypo)-thèse( ?) je me baserai tout particulièrement sur la série Rick et Morty créée par DanHarmon et Justin Roiland. Désormais, le défi qui est le mien m’apparaît clairement : il s’agit dans ce travail de démontrerque Rick et Morty est une réécriture de Merlin l’Enchanteur dans un monde de Science-fiction.

 Le premier point de similitude entre Merlin l’Enchanteur et Rick Sanchez est sans aucun doute la misanthropie. Eneffet, Merlin semble fuir à tout prix la compagnie des hommes, préfère vivre en ermite dans la nature [3].  Rick Sanchez,lui, ne se réfugie pas dans la nature mais dans d’autres dimensions spatiales et extraterrestres. Chez les auteurs médiévauxtels que Geoffroy de Monmouth (Vita Merlini), Merlin se réfugie dans les bois suite en réaction à perte de trois de seshommes lors d’une bataille. Les bois sont alors synonymes de recueillement, une manière de fuir la réalité. De même,Rick Sanchez est représenté comme un personnage désabusé et profondément triste et asocial, il ressent un profondmalaise dans la société des hommes.

 En outre, les auteurs contemporains nous dépeignent Merlin comme détenteur d’un pouvoir bien particulier lié à saconnaissance des végétaux et de la nature en général. Rick Sanchez tire également son pouvoir de sa connaissance desplantes extraterrestres. Dans le premier épisode[4], Rick Sanchez voyage en compagnie de Morty sur une autre planèteafin de cueillir des fruits aux pouvoirs spécifiques. Le physique de Rick est aussi énigmatique que celui de Merlin. Eneffet, Gaelle Zussa relève que Merlin a un aspect d’«enfant vieillard[5]».

 En somme, nous pourrions considérer le personnage de Rick comme une version underground de Merlinl’Enchanteur et plus précisément, la version de Merlin l’Enchanteur en habit de prophète-magicien. En effet, selon AnneBerthelot, Merlin est perçu comme étant un prophète-magicien dans certains textes médiévaux. Il est capable de connaîtretous les secrets du passé, du présent et du futur[6]. En admettant que Merlin l’Enchanteur soit : « en un mot, le magicienpar excellence, qui, par nature ou du fait d’un savoir « pré-scientifique » acquis on ne sait trop comment, triomphe des loishumaines et physiques[7]. »  Rick est, également doué de ces pouvoirs même si, contrairement à Merlin, il doit recourir àl’utilisation de machines ultra-technologiques ; en effet, Rick est en quelque sorte un savant-fou, ayant construit desmachines à voyager dans plusieurs univers et multivers dans lesquels il est capable d’interagir afin de changer le cours deschoses.

 Néanmoins, Rick serait un "Merlin " ayant un regard désabusé, lucide voire cynique sur le monde contemporain...

Clin d'oeil parodique et désabusé?

 Dans l'épisode 9 de la saison 1, le robot à beurre s'adresse à Rick:

- Robot à beurre: "Quel est mon but?"

-Rick: "Passer le beurre"

- Robot à beurre: "Oh mon dieu"

- Rick:"Oui, bienvenu au club mec"

Le personnage principal, au lieu d'apprendre à son robot qu'une quête incroyable l'attend,  lui fait comprendre que son seulbut dans la vie doit être de servir les humains. Fatalement, la "quête du Graal " ou autrement dit "l'espoir d'une viemeilleure " pour ce robot n'est que peine perdue.

 En réalité, il apparaît que, même si l’on peut souligner quelques similitudes entre Merlin et Rick, nous devonségalement mettre en évidence un certain nombre de différences entre ces deux personnages. Premièrement, Merlin est leguide d'Arthur, il l'accompagne tout au long de sa quête. A contrario, Rick Sanchez a tendance à considérer son petit-fils,Morty et les autres personnages qui l'entourent comme ses larbins afin d'arriver à ses fins.

 Merlin, malgré ses pouvoirs de métamorphose décrits dans le roman de Barjavel, ne s’est jamais transformé encornichon afin de crier : « Je suis un Merlin cornichon ! » En effet, cela sonne fortement moins bien que : « I’m pickleRiiiick[8]» Nous  pouvons donc conclure que Merlin, bien que parfois misanthrope, ne semble pas un amoureux de labouteille (ni de substances illicites bien entendu) à l’inverse de son «jumeau » 2.0.

Eveet, merhaba merhaba ve merhaba sevgili arkadaşım. Şu an bu satırlara başladım, ne hakkında yazacağımı bilmiyorum o yüzden başlıkta da "Şimdilik başlıksız" yazıyor. Belki kalır, bilmiyorum bi sevdim gibi ama değişebilir. İyi olmak üzerine, depresif düşünceler üzerine, bazen evrene serzenişlerle ve farklı dışavurumlarla burada seninle çok konuştuk, seni de bu konuda fazlasıyla darladım gibi hissediyorum. O yüzden bugün biraz konu değiştirelim, biraz bu düşüncelerden, bu ülkeden, bu gezegenden uzaklaşalım istiyorum. Zihnimdeki uçsuz bucaksız uzaydaki Pandoria Galaksisinde, ufacık bir yıldız sisteminde misafir edeceğim seni bugün eğer sıkılıp erkenden gitmeyi seçmezsen.

Kalmayı seçtiğini görmek mutluluk vericii. Sen koltuğuna otur, geminin kumandası zaten yapay zekada. Ben de kahveleri hazırlayıp müziği koyayım, çok da acele etmeden, uzayın güzelliğini kaçırmadan devam edelim yolumuza. Yalnız dikkat et kahve biraz fazla sıcak, yakmasın.

Burayı inşa etmek epey zamanımı aldı, hala bitmiş değil aslında. Yer yer eklemeler yapıyorum, birkaç yaşam formu eklemeyi düşünüyorum şuradaki galaksiye. Şu sağdakinde yakında bir süpernova yaşanacak ama umarım sağlam kurtulurlar, oradakileri geliştirmeyi biraz unutmuş olabilirim çünkü, heheh. Neyse, geçelim hemen, ben şu gemiyi hızlandırayım..

İştee başyapıtım, Pandoria Galaksisi.. Her seferinde biraz daha aşık oluyorum bu manzaraya, kaostan doğan bu güzelliği şans eseri ortaya çıkardım. Normalde bu kadar canlı bir tonda olmayacaktı, kıvamını tutturayım derken fazla koydum malzemeyi.. İyi ki de öyle olmuş tabi, insanlardan sıkıldığımda burası bana çok güzel bir sığınak oluyor. Hadi gel yavaşça gezegene inelim.

Bu yıldız sistemine Sandrow adını vermişti yerlileri hemen hemen 350 yıl kadar önce. En azından bu gezegendekiler tabi heheh. Gelelim gezegenimizeee. Çok sevdiğim bir öyküsü var buranın. Bundan yaklaşık 2700-2800 yıl önce bu gezegen savaş yeriydi bildiğin. Mükemmel ötesi bir cehalet vardı gezegende. O kısım pek anlatılmaya değer bir şey değil, saçma taht savaşları işte, koltuk sevdalıları, yapacak bir şey yok.

Neyse neyse, bu savaş tabi iyice kontrolden çıkınca dedim ki buna bir müdahale etmek gerek. Ben oluşturmadım mı lan burayı oldum bi'. Gittim gezegene, dedim ki ya siz bu savaşı bitirirsiniz, ya da ben tüm silahlarınızı yok ederim, galaksiye karşı savunmasız kalırsınız. Yapman guzum, savaşman guzum dedim. Başta bi' sallamadılar tabi ama nükleer silahları bir anda kaybolunca biraz daha ılımlı hâl almaya başladılar. Tam olarak her şey o noktada değişti işte.

Çünkü zorunlu olarak yaptıkları dinleme, aynı yerde bulunma olayı onları karşı düşünceyi de anlama, dinleme yetisini kattı yavaş yavaş. Tabi epey uzun ve sancılı oldu bu süreç. 200-250 yıl falan neredeyse. Sonrasında o uzun soluklu barış dönemi başladı, o zamandan beri durumlar daha iyi gezegende. Şimdi birazdan halka karışırız, daha iyi anlarsın demek istediğimi.

Eee şöyle bir dolaş bakalım, biraz halka karış, dedikodularını dinle, bir şeyler alacak olursan benim hesabıma yazdır ben hallederim hehe. Merak etme, uzay gemisinin etki alanındasın, çeviri gibi derdin olmayacak, orası teknolojinin derdi. Ben tam burada bekliyorum, söz karışmayacağım gezintine, salça olmak da yok.

Eveet, gezip tozman bittiysee, ooo bakıyorum da Brelslerden de kapmışsın hemen görünce. Aramızda kalsın kahve yanında çok iyi gidiyor ama burada kahve içmek ölüm cezası sebebi. Sebebini yolda anlatırım. Atla atla gidelim hemen..

Aaay ay, öyle işte sevgili arkadaşım. Biraz farklı bir yer gör, kafamız dağılsın istedim. Umarım senin için keyifli bir yolculuk olmuştur. Brelsleri kahveyle denemeyi unutma, bir de buzdolabında tutma, çok kötü kokuyor öyle olunca, acı tecrübe edildi... The Toonami Trending Rundown for the month of August 2024. After over a decade on the lineup with 22 seasons and 500 episodes, we say goodbye to Naruto Shippuden as the show completes its long run on Toonami. Toonami viewers would also get to see the premiere of Rick and Morty: The Anime, a side story of the popular Rick and Morty television series that was directed by Takeshi Sano.

For the night of August 10, #Toonami trended in the USA on Twitter alongside Demon Slayer and a character trend from One Piece in Usopp. Demon Slayer also trended on Tumblr. On August 17, Toonami trended in the USA alongside Rick and Morty, Demon Slayer, and Naruto Shippuden. And on the nights of August 24 and 31, Toonami trended in the US alongside Demon Slayer and Shippuden. In addition, on August 31, Toonami trended on Tumblr alongside One Piece and #mha and #bnha.

As for Toonami Rewind, #Toonami would trend in the USA alongside Sailor Moon on the broadcasts of August 2 and 9.

August 24-25’s feature was a new Toonami ID titled “Engine Test.” You can check it out below.

And the August 31 edition of Toonami saw a game review of Hauntii by Moonloop Games. It received an 8/10 score.

Naruto does have a finale and epilogue besides this final episode of Shippuden, that being The Last: Naruto the Movie which came out in Japan in 2014, that goes into more detail on how Naruto and Hinata hooked up and eventually got married. And there’s Boruto: Naruto the Movie released in 2015, which serves as the bridge to the Boruto anime series.

Unfortunately, as with the likes of Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale, Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul, and Dr. Stone: Ryusei, getting anime movies has been very difficult for Toonami to acquire nowadays, so fans will have to watch those parts of the story elsewhere. Alongside budgetary issues, anime movies are usually separately licensed from the shows themselves, and tend to have a bigger and/or different production committee from the anime. And not all companies are willing to give Toonami a discount for a broadcast deal, or even let them air it at all regardless of being essential to the storyline.

Speaking of Boruto, while Toonami aired the first 52 episodes in 2019, the show has been put into an indefinite hiatus (if not outright canceled) from the block due to low ratings (and likely a high asking licensing price from Viz and Shueisha, et. al). Despite that Studio Pierrot has made an additional 241 episodes of the series, its last airing on March 2023.

Given that Toonami has opted to rerun Naruto from the beginning again for Rewind, and given that’s it’s been six years since Boruto left, it’s likely that the Naruto franchise has premiered its last episode on Toonami. But as Jason DeMarco has regularly said: “never say never.” And perhaps one day, this franchise will make its return (outside of reruns). Nonetheless, it was a fun ride watching the Knuckleheaded Ninja of the Leaf Village grow up to become the 7th Hokage. Believe it!

“Existence is pain.”

Rick and Morty’s Mr. Meseeks were right—existence is, indeed, pain.

The problem with existing in this world is that it is inherently meaningless, and we are forced to persist in order to find a meaning for ourselves. It comes easily to others in the form of their passions, and relationships. To others, it is nothing but torture.

We were born into this world without our consent. That is to say, we never chose to be conceived and birthed, only to be subjected to the cruelty of the modern world. Of course, it would be justified to be depressed about the things we never chose for ourselves, but are forced to struggle with.

The human is naturally averse to harm. There is always an internal struggle when the moment to commit suicide comes; and self harm is a product of the need to deter pain that would otherwise be unbearable. At times—most times, in fact—I just want to tear myself apart.

Piece by piece, I want to disintegrate until all that’s left is a trace of my consciousness. What would the world look like without the pain of cognition? I know, however, that is impossible—at least with aversion to suffering, it is. All there is, is hope that better days will come, even if it is the most shameless and blatant of lies.

Which begs the question—why must we continue to exist when it only leads to pain?

Being a Meseeks is a far more desirable form of existence. Imagine being summoned into this world, meeting an organism that wants something, et voila! Their command is your purpose, and you stop existing the moment you fulfill the order—what bliss their lives must be. We, on the other hand, do not meet our creators before being born—we don’t come with instructions.

If all that we can do is persist despite all this needless suffering, the only real way to move forward is to scrape each and every tinge of joy that life offers, and desperately hold on to that fleeting feeling of euphoria. Otherwise, there is nothing else in this life. If there truly is a creator, the first thing I would do in the afterlife is to give them the middle finger—proverbial justice for all the pain I have had to live through.

Travelling into Trover

The Magic Circle is a concept articulated by Johan Huizinga in the naive and racist Homo Ludens, and later codified by Salen and Zimmerman in the even more naive and utterly wrongheaded Rules of Play: Game Design Fundamentals, which posits that the rules of a game create what is effectively a separate reality that exists within our own, one wherein the concerns and realities of our lives do not intrude, where the work envelops us in its entirety.

Like a lot of game theory that I've read, the Magic Circle is more of a wishful thought than something that is actually observable and true to the reality of the experience. Play does not exist as separate from reality, it is a product of it, just as we are. Game designers can't make a game wholly separate from the person they are, and the person they are cannot be separated from the circumstances that made them, and neither can players. You aren't entering another world when you read The Grasshopper Lies Heavy, you're just using an object to try to shut the world out. To put it simply, we've all got baggage, and we're carrying that shit everywhere with us, whether we want to admit it or not.

Which hasn't stopped us chasing the idea of the Magic Circle. The dream of a game we play becoming a world we inhabit has forever been intoxicating, from when tabletop wargame Chainmail transformed into role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, to the modern rhetoric of The Metaverse, there's an argument to be made that all of this speaks for us attempting to wish the Magic Circle into existence: to create a space we can truly escape into, where the failings of the physical no longer apply. And no vision is more intoxicating than VR.

The eternal non-starter, the future that is always coming but always failing to arrive, VR, in our modern conception of it, is something I have almost entirely experienced vicariously. I am poor, I have always been poor, and I have never been in a position where I am capable of dropping the absurd amounts of money these things routinely ask for in exchange for what is - still! - largely a method to play Beam Saber, VR Chat, and Half-Life Alyx. Like the Metaverse that attaches itself to VR for a shred of credibility, VR continues to insist that it is The Future from atop a house built on sand, sinking down below more and more with each year that passes where Half-Life: Alyx is still the only game that truly gets people talking about VR.

But perhaps this is unfair. I don't own one, after all: this is all the speculation of an outsider. So, let's pick another VR game, more of a median example of this sub-medium. Consider this mu report from observations of an expedition, undertaken by a braver explorer than I, into the Magic Circle as conceived by Justin Roiland: Trover Saves the Universe.

I'll give TStU this much: I actually like the idea of the central gameplay loop. It's a fairly rare example of "second-person" gameplay, wherein you control a character controlling Trover, and teleport to various points in the levels, from which you can observe Trover as he does the sub-Lego Game third person platforming action that this game is made up of. It felt, weirdly, like a more player-authored version of the fixed camera angles of Resident Evil et al, a language of cinematography that we unfortunately lost when it become expected that the player would take full control of the camera. I'd like to see another game explore this concept more, and more purposefully.

That's the end of my praise. You hardly need me to tell you this, but yes, Trover Saves the Universe is fucking terrible, in the same way Rick and Morty is, in the same way every Justin Roiland production is (though, subtracting Dan Harmon from the equation does remove the part of Rick and Morty that I find worst of all, that being its cloying and manipulative sentimental streak that never reads as sincere). It is a 4-hour session of the worst improv comedy class imaginable, tolerable only to baked teenage boys and those who share their disposition, made worse by adopting the exact same tenor, writing, and observations that every hack comedian who thinks they have a Wry Eye on Video Game Cliches deploys. All this game has as a selling point is Justin, and all Justin has is sub-Cake Is A Lie 2009 webcomic jokes processed through a work determined to explain every single joke at length, whilst engaging in gross-out humor that always finds a way to make fat women the butt of the joke, with increasing viciousness that is genuinely sickening.

Every moment of Trover Saves the Universe was excruciating. Sometimes it was excruciatingly annoying, sometimes it was excruciatingly dull, and sometimes was excruciatingly offensive, but it was always excruciating. If I was playing it, I would have turned it off and refunded it within minutes. If I was watching it, I would have found something else to watch within seconds.

But I didn't. I watched this for nearly 4 hours. I saw the whole thing, beginning to end. I sat there for every moment of the playthrough because I was with friends, and they were making me smile and laugh, because for whatever stupid absurd faux camaraderie it was, I wanted to be there for my friend until they ran over the finish line and could free themselves from this self-inflicted torment. Is that dumb? It sure sounds dumb, to read it written out like that. But it's true. And I'd do it again! But only if, like this time, I am allowed to break the Magic Circle, and bring with me myself, and everyone I carry with me, in my head and in my heart.

The Magic Circle does not posit the non-existence of the people I care about within it, but it does argue that they are ultimately supplicant to the rules the circle creates, that the game provides a wholly separate context for them to exist in. But if that was true, they wouldn't have made me laugh the way they did. They wouldn't have made me smile and roll my eyes and groan the way I did. Because they - and that - are the product of this world, not Trover's world.

Proponents of the Magic Circle will push back against the interpretation I've made of it, here, but I do think this kind of preclusive argument is where the fantasy The Magic Circle leads you: if the world is truly entirely separate, maintained until it is fractured by the breaking of it's rules, then the participants must also agree to cease the continuity of their lives, to suspend them, for the sake of the game. And I wouldn't want to do that, even if that were possible. None of Trover's jokes were funny, but I laughed anyway because my friends brought their worlds into this one.

VR is not the future that exists in the present, it's not the gateway to tomorrow. It's just a way to experience play, to engage with rules and visuals entwined together, like the unique gameplay loop of this game (which works perfectly well without VR but it is undoubtedly informed by VR). No matter what way we interface with them, nothing we can do will make Games into something that will let us escape reality. They are not other worlds, they are not places to become wholly different people separate from ourselves, they are not the means by which we can seal ourselves off from the stings of reality, as much as we might wish them to be. And that's for the best. Because if Trover Saves the Universe was a Magic Circle where I left everything behind at its door before entering, I would not be able to survive it. I did so because I brought people into it with me, people who I care immensely about, people that TStU, in however a slight and silly manner it may have been, let me see in new lights and appreciate in new ways. It wasn't a doorway to another dimension. It was a funhouse mirror. And when I laugh at a funhouse mirror, I'm not laughing at the material of the mirror itself. I'm laughing at the reflection of me and my friends in it, provided by the mirror's context.

Trover's Universe may not have all the pains the world inflicts on us in it, but it does not have anything inside it that I love. My universe does. And because of that, I'll never, ever let it go.

Déjà, bienvenue sur ce compte, sur ce blog, qui a une vocation de parler des cartoons que j'ai vus. Je me suis dit que ce serait pas mal de poser quelques bases avant de commencer, pour qu'on soit sur la même longueur d'ondes. 🫶🏻

Afin d'être le plus exhaustif possible, tout en restaut chalereux et cordial (au possible), je vais le faire sous la forme d'une mini FAQ.

Pourquoi parler des contenus que tu juges problématiques malgré tout ?

Selon moi ne pas en parler est inutile. Soit les contenus en question sont extrêmement connus (Rick et morty, Bojak Horseman, ...) et dans ce cas, je ne leur offre aucune visibilité supplémentaire (ou si peu), soit on parle de contenus extrêmement peur connus ou de niche, et dans ce cas, il est difficile de trouver des informations dessus.

De fait, je considère que c'est mieux d'en parler, afin que l'information soit disponible quelque part.

Cela ne signifie évidemment pas que je suis en accord ou que je soutien nécessairement les personnes qui ont créé cette série, les studios qui sont derrière ou que sais-je.

D'ailleurs, je ne suis pas nécessairement au courant de tous les problèmes liés à toutes les personnes ou entités à l'origine des cartoons dont je parle ici. (D'autant plus quand on sait que certains sont clairement méconnus !)

Tu a dit que tu précisais quand les séries dont tu parles comportent du contenu ou des choses problématiques, mais tu n'a pas évoqué (tous) les problèmes liés à une œuvre en particulier, pourquoi ?

Alors, malgré toute ma bonne volonté, je ne suis malheureusement pas omniscient, pas forcément au courant de tous les tropes problématiques, de tous les dogwhistle, de tous les problèmes, de tous les clichés ...

De fait oui, il peut carrément arriver que je passe à coté de quelque chose de problématique (y compris pour des oppressions qui me concernent, ou pour lesquelles je suis le mieux renseigné !) d'autant plus que je regarde généralement les séries d'un œil seulement.

Ajoutez à cela le fait que j'ai manifestement des capacités de compréhensions assez ... spéciales.

Il n'est pas du tout rare que je passe totalement à coté de sous textes évidents dans des œuvres, ou que je les comprenne / interprète super mal.

Tout ça pour dire :

Est-ce que je compte parler des contenus qui ne sont pas nécessairement accessibles ? (Pas de VF / pas de sous-titres disponibles / pas d'audio description...)

Oui. Un peu pour la même raison que pour les contenus problématiques, parce que l'information n'est pas forcément facilement trouvable ou accessible.

Certes, certaines plateformes ont commencé à avertir pour les flash lumineux, mais pas toutes, et pas pour tous les contenus. (Et ce n'est qu'un exemple) Donc en évoquant directement ces points dans mes posts, je rends l'information plus accessible.

J'ai repéré des choses dans la construction de ton blog / dans la manière d'écrire / ... qui nuit à l'accessibilité, est-ce que et comment le faire remonter ?

Effectivement, même si l'accessibilité est une de mes priorités, je reste humain, il m'arrive donc d'oublier certaines choses, de faire des erreurs, de mal appliquer certains conseils pour rendre mon contenu le plus accessible possible.

Sachez que je fais vraiment tout ce qui est en mon possible pour rendre mon contenu le plus accessible possible, avec mes moyens, et mes connaissances.

Donc oui, n'hésitez pas à faire vos remarques concernant les problèmes d'accessibilité en commentaire, ou par message privé, de préférence (si vous pouvez) avec un max de détails / éventuellement des ressources sur comment faire différemment, et je ferai en sorte de changer tout ça au plus vite.

Comment savoir si tu a vu et compte parler d'un programme ou contenu ?

J'ai justement fait un post pour lister tous les contenus que je compte poster, (et ceux déjà postés, avec des liens), le tout dans l'ordre alphabétique.

Accessoirement, ce même post contiendra une liste des contenus que j'ai envie de voir, mais que je n'ai pas encore vus, et une liste des contenus que je ne veux certainement pas voir.

Est-ce qu'on peut te faire des propositions de contenus à voir ?

Au contraire bien sûr ! Je suis toujours à la recherche de nouvelles choses à voir, donc toutes les propositions sont les bienvenues.

Cependant, merci de bien vérifier qu'il ne s'agit pas de contenus que j'ai déjà vu, ou pire, que je ne veux pas voir pour X ou Y raison. D'autant plus que pour certains de ces contenus, je ne veux pas les voir ... justement parce qu'on m'en parle en continu !

J'ai envie de trouver des cartoons concernant un thème précis, comme la queerness ou le handicap. Est-ce que c'est possible de les trouver plus facilement ?

Oui ! J'ai justement une catégorie listant les différents thèmes présents dans les œuvres que je présente.

Je compte par ailleurs faire un post spécifique pour lister les contenus correspondants à certaines thématiques ou problématiques précises. (Didactique, philosophie, queerness, handicap ...)

Tu a écrit qu'un contenu en particulier est disponible sur une plateforme, mais quand je le cherche, je ne le trouve pas ?

Alors plusieurs possibilités ->

Il est possible que tu ne sois dans un pays qui n'est pas la France, donc que les différentes plateformes ne soient pas les mêmes. Par exemple, les œuvres diffusées sur HULU aux USA sont disponibles sur Disney+ en France. Pense donc à checker les plateformes du pays dans lequel tu te situe, pour voir les équivalences.

Il est également possible que l’œuvre ne soit tout simplement plus sur ladite plateforme. Je ne peux malheureusement pas me renseigner en temps réel sur toutes les séries que je regarde et / ou apprécie (et les autres donc ...) de fait, il se peut que cette information ne soit pas nécessairement à jour.

Évidemment, si jamais vous remarquez un problème du genre, n'hésitez pas à faire remonter, afin que je puisse modifier le post, et faire en sorte que les informations sont accurate.

N'hésitez pas non plus à signaler sur quelle plateforme vous avez trouvé la série, si elle est disponible à plusieurs endroits, en mentionnant bien votre pays. Je pourrais ajouter l'information.

Tu a écrit que ces deux séries sont liées / similaires, mais je ne comprends pas le rapport entre les deux ?

Quand je dis que deux séries sont liées ou similaires, cela peut-être pour plusieurs raisons dont les suivantes ->

Elles ont été créés par la ou les mêmes personnes / par la même équipe. C'est par exemple le cas pour Rick et Morty - Solar opposites, pour Bojak Horseman - Truca et Bertie, pour Bob's burger - Le grand nord.

Elles font partie d'un univers étendu (sans nécessairement être créés par la même personne, même si c'est souvent le cas). C'est le cas pour Family Guy - Américan dad - The Cleveland show, ou encore Brickelbery - Paradise police département - Farzar.

Elles ont un style d'animation qui est extrêmement proche, que je trouve très similaire. C'est par exemple le cas pour South Park, et Bad exorcist ! Ces deux séries ont l'air aussi ... expérimentales.

L'une est le spin-off ou une inspiration de l'autre, que ce soit de près ou de loin. C'est par exemple le cas de Big mouth - Human ressources, ou Rick et morty - Bushworld adventures.

Le style ou le type de narration est / me semble similaire pour toutes ces séries. C'est par exemple le cas de Big mouth - Midnight gospel - The second best hospital in the Galaxy, qui ont une narration didactique, abordant 1 thème / épisode.

Évidemment, je peux comprendre que ce soit une manière de faire qui semble étrange, contestable, ou tout ce qu'on veut. Je suis très évidemment ouvert à la critique sur ce point **sous réserve de bienveillance**.

Tu a donné un titre pour une série, mais je la connais sous un tout autre nom, est-ce que c'est normal ?

En effet, certaines séries ont plusieurs noms ou appellations officielles, sans que personne ne sache réellement qu'elle est la bonne.

Je pense par exemple à Family Guy, que beaucoup de gens connaissent également sous le nom Les Griffin. (C'est d'ailleurs au point où la série tourne ce fait en dérision !)

Afin d'éviter ce problème, tous les noms possibles et que je connais sont mentionnés, afin de faciliter les recherches. Évidemment, si vous connaissez la série sous un autre nom, n'hésitez pas à le communiquer, pour que je puisse l'indiquer.

Je précise que je vais également faire tout mon possible pour mentionner le nom original des séries, afin de faciliter leur identification sur les plateformes. Attention cependant : nom original =/= nom anglais / Américain.

Moi, ce que je déteste absolument, c'est les comédies musicales, les séries dans lesquelles on chante énormément. Est-ce que c'est possible de savoir ?

Évidemment ! Je sais que c'est un reproche qui revient souvent, beaucoup de personnes n'aiment pas ce genre de contenu / de narration.

C'est donc là raison pour la présence de chansons et la forme de comédie musicale seront signalés dans les différents thèmes présents dans la série.

Je précise à toutes fins utiles que je suis évidemment pas responsable de la présence de chansons dans une série. De fait, même si je comprends que cela vous déplaise, ça ne sert à rien de venir s'en plaindre auprès de moi, comme si j'étais le directeur artistique.

Comment ca se passe si je ne suis pas d'accord avec les hypothèses, théories, ect ... que tu a sur un personnage, par exemple concernant son handicap / son identité, ou son appartenance à une communauté ?

Premièrement, je tiens à dire que tous les propos et hypothèses concernant les éléments cités juste au dessus sont hypothétiques, mais en plus dans un but de réflexion et / ou humoristique, de fait, qu'on soit d'accord ou non : La courtoisie, ainsi que la politesse sont de mises !

Ensuite, on peut effectivement ne pas être d'accord sur le fait que tel ou tel personnage soit comme je le présente (Par exemple : le fait que les membres de la famille Belcher soient tous TSA, le fait que Pamela Bouvier soit non binaire ...), cependant, je m'attends quand même à avoir des éléments plus concrets que "ce n'est pas dit dans la série", ou "non mais les enfants Belcher sont mineurs, donc on ne peut pas dire" (WTF).

De plus, il s'agit effectivement, comme beaucoup de gens aiment le souligner, de personnages fictifs ! Ce sont des personnages qui n'existent pas. Donc effectivement, on ne peut faire que des hypothèses, basées sur ce qu'on voit et ce qui est dit dans l’œuvre. Cependant, cela ne veut pas dire que les théories sont nécessairement fausses ou basées sur du vent.
