Stan’s eyes met the bright, shining blue eyes of his cabin mate. Woah. He couldn’t remember meeting anyone with such pretty and bright blue eyes. Stan’s lips curled into a small smile as he stepped into the shared space. Stan took the stranger’s- no, Bill’s- hand, shaking it. “I’m Stanley.” He commented, withdrawing his hand from Bill’s. “People call me Stan.” He replied, shrugging. “You’re welcome to call me either.” Stan mused, looking around the room.

Before Stan could ask any questions, a loud boisterous voice cut in throughout the cabin. Stan turned to look at the third male to join the cabin space. “That must be Richard.” He sighed. Of course he’d end up with at least one loud and obnoxious cabin mate. Bill, so far, didn’t seem like he’d be too much of a problem when it came to being loud. Richard though… Stan wasn’t sure how he’d be able to take that sort of loud crudeness.

“Excuse me, a what?” Stan replied, turning to look at him with his brow arched. Stan glanced at Bill with a ‘what in the fuck’ expression on his face. He stepped away from the other male and set his bag on one of the desks. “That was uh- quite the way to enter the room,” He pointed out, lips twitching as he leaned on one of the empty desks. “Do you always enter rooms with such rash and crude comments?” @scribedhorror @richietrashman

Just like the first instance of them walking into that place he would put himself in front of his friends. Bill could remember pulling Richie back and shoving him behind him as they went through the house of horrors trying to get out and find Eddie.

He hadn’t been able to protect Georgie or the kid--- or even Stan--- but he’d be damned if he wasn’t going to protect the friends he had left.

Summer Camp was definitely not somewhere that he ever thought that he’d end up spending his summer. He had seen a pamphlet for counselors needed on his college bulletin board and decided to try something different. That had led him to applying and (much to his surprise) becoming a counselor for a bunch of kids.

Stanley was staring at the rather large sign to the camp, lips twitching. It was a few days before the camp opened to the kids. This (according to the head of the camp) was to get the counselors to get to know one another. To get to know their cabin mates. The cabin he was assigned to was a cabin of three instead of one of the cabins for four. He was kind of glad for that.

Stan would rather have only two cabin mates incase they were just as loud and wild as the excited children would be. He could handle two easier than three. Plus he knew that he was likely to have moments because of his OCD and he hated the idea that things could turn sour for himself if they had issues with his issue.

The Uris male was thankful that he had found the cabin easily enough. He was tired by this point of carrying the bags he had with him. Stan stepped up the stairs and checked the door. Unlocked. Were they supposed to be unlocked or was one or both of his cabin mates already there? He pushed the door open slowly before sliding into the entryway. “Hello?” @scribedhorror @richietrashman

Bill’s brow furrowed as he lifted his gaze to meet Richie’s, head already shaking to refute that comment as soon as it was out of the other man’s mouth. “You didn’t ruin anything Richie. You were just saying what was true and I--- I’m so sorry for what I did to you. I regretted it as soon as it happened.” It was true. As soon as he had his memories back that moment had plagued him and he knew that he didn’t deserve Richie’s forgiveness let alone his friendship.

They hadn’t talked about it when they had met up again at the Jade or any of the days following because there were more pressing things to deal with. Now that it was all over, however, they could talk about it. “You were right and I was a fucking asshole and I can’t apologize enough. You deserve better.”

The reasons Stanley loves the Losers (Platonically and Romantically)

Bill: [Platonically]Stan absolutely loves the fierce love and loyalty (and protectiveness) that Bill has for every one of his friends. He’s willing to do anything to protect (and save) them even if he’s afraid. [Romantically] Bill. Has. So. Much. Love. To. Give. He just does. He puts so much into loving someone. @scribedhorror

Eddie: [Platonically] Stan loves how brave Eddie really is. How he’ll do anything to save his friends (including standing up to his mother). The fierceness that is his attitude makes Stan smile even if it isn’t always a physical smile. [Romantically] Fiercely is probably the best way to describe how Eddie loves. He’s just got so many levels of fierceness when it comes to various parts of him and loving someone is just another way. @inhaledlies

Richie: [Platonically] Despite Stan calling “Beep, Beep, Richie” as often as he does, he does find Richie funny at times (not that he’ll admit it out loud). Richie’s loyalty to his friends is another reason because even though Richie has a big (trash)mouth, he’s pretty good about keeping secrets. [Romantically] Passionately. Growing up in the '80s really skewered my view of myself and others. I was raised to be horrified by gays and trans. Then I found out what LGBT really means.

It's not nearly as horrific as it seemed during the AIDS pandemic. It's nowhere near as shameful as people said it was.

I'm not gay, or lesbian, or any binary thing; I'm just non-binary. I'm a non-binary person who is demisexual and has only ever been attracted to my wife.

Lately, I've been looking for terms. I've never known much about these things. My best friend (who is gay and cis) insisted I help he and his now-wife (amab fem-aligned) find her gender. He later found out I needed help, too.

So Richie helped us. He helped me find out I'm non-binary non-aligned. He helped his wife Ed found out he (Ed prefers he/him due to childhood issues) is genderfluid with mostly a fem-alignment, so he sometimes uses the term demigirl.

I'm still figuring this stuff out. Any feedback or advice is completely welcomed and very appreciated.
