half the fun of listening to classical vocal are those desperate intakes of breath that singers do in between phrases . like is this woman orgasming or in excruciating agony? it should ideally sound like both

Ph. by James Ratelet
The painting by Daniele Ricciarelli (Daniele da Volterra, Italian 1509-1566) 義大利文藝復興時期風格主義(Mannerist)的畫家、雕塑家。
David and Goliath 達味與哥肋雅 /牧羊人以石子擊敗巨人 - 以弱擊強 recto of painting by Daniele da Volterra (recto du tableau à double face de Daniele da Volterra)
這幅畫可供兩面觀賞, 收藏於巴黎羅浮宮。描述的是達味(David)用彈弓和石塊擊倒培肋舍特人(Philistines)巨人哥肋雅(Goliath),並拔刀正要割下其頭顱的情景。─ 取材自聖經 Drawn from the Bible 《撒慕爾紀上》 1 Samuel:Chapter 17 (1~58).
And I like verses 31 to 51 the most, they are very classic and I feel excited and honored for them. 我最喜歡31~51節,非常經典,為他們感到興奮和榮光。 📯 🗡️ 👍 Lan~*

ended up looking up some italian and chinese pastries for a fic i'm writing and now i'm even more disappointed that the writers are making tom and sabine stick to the stock french bakery fare. let them sell some chinese almond biscuits or ricciarelli alongside the croissants, dammit! let them show their heritage a bit in a way that's not just "dur hur chinese people are magic"!
“dur hur chinese people are magic” sums it up tragically well. I feel like foods are such an easy way to show connection to one’s culture but the crew can’t be assed to do simple internet searches to include them. Both sides of Marinette’s family are tied to the food industry and u expect me to believe they only care about french pastries?

I got B. Dylan Hollis’ (the chaotic baking guy) cookbook, Baking Yesteryear, for my birthday in July and I have been meaning to make a recipe from it ever since. However, I can’t decide what to make first. So, I’m gonna let you decide. I chose all-cookie recipes bc I’m pretty good at cookies, they are easily shareable, and I don’t need to buy any special pans for them.
