Hi, I am the the one who requested the fem human reader infused with Airachinid's corpse, can I request a part 2 of it with a bit more angst like when reader with tears asks arcee if she still loves her even in this state, and also Airachinid's personality having an affect on reader when going after a group of vehicons? I just want more angst.
A/N: I was looking forward to writing this. This has so much angst potential and Idk if I can ever fully achieve it, but I'm gonna try. Part one here. I'll do part three with the whole vehicon thing, or something similar at least, Idk when, but eventually
After you passed out at the warehouse and were brought back to the autobot base, it took days for you to wake up again. During the time you were unconscious Arcee had a lot of time to think. She tried to stay by your side, but she just felt sick. She couldn't look at you and even being in the same space with you was incredibly hard. There was this stench of decay in the air every time she got close to you. She wasn't sure if it was real, or she was just imagining it. She'd smelled a similar stench a couple of times before, when she'd come by roadkill on her patrols. Were you just slowly decaying in there? Was Airachnid's body going to become your tomb?
Arcee couldn't stand it. The person she loved the most and the one she hated the most, had been ripped apart and put together to make this… thing. She wasn't sure if she could ever get past this. Even if you retained your sanity, even if you managed to come to terms with your new reality, could she do the same? Could she still love you?
When you woke up, you felt odd. The memory of what had happened just a few days before hadn't come back to you yet. It felt like you were majorly hungover, or like you'd been run over by a truck, or both. It took a moment for you to come back to reality. When you opened your eyes, it was like a screen turning on. That triggered the influx of feelings and memories from before. You tried to move, but your body still wasn't responding properly. You managed to get off the table you were on, but you fell on the floor face first.
"Someone help me" you begged, but your voice was still hoarse and barely any sound came out.
You were terrified. It was real. You had been made into this… abomination. You might have been in Airachnid's body, but you didn't feel in control of it. You tried to push yourself up with your arms, and you could just barely manage it. You felt so weak. Your body felt incredibly heavy and moving it was difficult, but you managed to push yourself up enough to sit up and lean your back against the nearby wall. You recognized the base, but you couldn't see anyone.
You were looking around with wild eyes and trying to get someone to hear you.
"Help" you croaked.
You could hear hurried footsteps coming from the corridor and soon Arcee and Ratchet came around the corner.
Arcee froze as soon as she saw you. You were awake and you looked so scared. It was odd to see that kind of expression on Airachnid's face. Ratchet on the other hand hurried to your side and and scanned your vital signs.
You didn't even glance at Ratchet, all you could see was the disgusted expression on Arcee's face. The same hatred you'd seen her look at Airachnid with, was also still there. Why was she looking at you like that? You weren't her, you weren't Airachnid, so why was she looking at you like that? Did she hate you now?
"Cee" you managed to force her name out of your mouth.
"Don't call me that. Not with that voice. It sounds like… her" Arcee said, turning her gaze away from you.
She couldn't look at you anymore, she just couldn't.
"Arcee, please. Help me get them back on the table" Ratchet requested.
"I'm sorry, I-I can't" Arcee said and staggered away, before running deeper into the base, away from you.
Ratchet somehow managed to get you back onto the table, and hooked you up into some kind of IV line. You assumed it was energon or something of the sort. It made you feel better, a bit stronger even, but Ratchet insisted you not move yet.
You could see it in his optics too. The disgust, it was there, even though he was doing a much better job at hiding it than Arcee. What had you been made into? Those monsters had made you into this… abomination. They had torn you apart and put you into the corpse of the one single being in the universe Arcee hated more than anyone or anything else. Now she couldn't even bear to look at you, and that was more painful than any ache in your new body ever could be.
Arcee didn't know what to do. What could she say to you when she couldn't even look at you? She was just sitting on top of the base, like the two of you used to. She was looking up at the starry sky, wondering just what kind of sick twist the universe had thrown at her. She hadn't believed in happy endings in a long time before she met you, but now that faith was gone again. The universe was cruel, she'd always known that, but this was something else. This was something even worse.
"Cee" she heard a voice from behind her.
"I asked you not to call me that" Arcee said, not turning around. She still couldn't look at what you'd become.
"Why? I'm still me, even if I sound and look a bit different"
"A bit? That would be the understatement of the year" Arcee scoffed.
"Could you at least look at me? Cee please?" you asked, your voice breaking just a little bit.
"I-I can't!" Arcee exclaimed. "I can't look at you, I don't want to talk to you, I don't want to be in the same room as you… Just stay out of my sight"
"How-how can you say that? Don't you love me? Cee?"
"I told you to stop calling me that!" Arcee sprung up and yelled straight in your face.
She finally turned to look at you and all you saw in her optics was disgust, sadness and anger. There was no trace of the love she had once looked at you with. You staggered back in shock, looking at her with disbelief.
"It's still me, Cee. I'm still the same person" you pleaded with tears in your eyes, clawing at your chest, leaving behind scratches.
"No! You're not!" Arcee yelled. "My (Name) is dead, you're just some fake, masquerading as them. You can't be them, I don't accept it!"
"Why are-why are you saying that? I'm right here!" you yelled back. "Don't you want me anymore?"
Arcee wanted to scream and yell, but she decided to just walk past you and back into the elevator to get back into base. She glanced back one more time, and she could see you fall onto your hands and knees, your whole body trembling as you started sobbing.
She didn't want you. She didn't love you, in fact it seemed she hated you. You were afraid she would never look at you the same way she once did. You were so terrified of losing her completely. Why was this happening?

Can I request scenerio Arcee with a fem human S/O that was experimented on as a prototype of how Silas would be infused with the corpse of breakdown but the S/O was infused with the corpse of Airachnid. How would Arcee feel knowing that her S/O was now going to spend the rest of her life in the body of her worst enemy to survive?
A/N: This is going to be all angst babyyyyy. I kinda wanna do a part two where Airachnid’s personality starts to affect the reader or something, more angst in any case
Warnings: Body horror?
Arcee hadn’t heard from you for months, and now Airachnid was back. Could the day get any worse? Arcee was feeling frustrated about you seemingly disappearing from the face of the earth, and angry about Airachnid resurfacing. Little did she know those two things were very much connected.
When you came to, you felt incredibly out of it. It was like your brain wasn’t connected to your body at all. You weren’t sure if you were even moving your arm when you tried to bring your hand to touch your face. After a moment of trying, you came to the conclusion it was in fact not moving. It felt like the distance between your brain and the hand you wanted to move was too far to reach.
“What the hell?” you muttered.
The voice that came out didn’t sound like your own. It was a garbled mess and sounded somewhat glitchy, which didn’t make any sense.
“I see you’re awake” an unfamiliar voice said. “Your voice and motor skills will come back to you… hopefully”
While you couldn’t really move, you could still feel that you were restrained. You finally tried to open your eyes, and it was like a TV screen turning on. You couldn’t see clearly right away, but you could tell you were laying on the floor or a table of some sort. There was a lamp above you, slowly swaying back and forth. You turned your head and saw a man standing next to you, he looked like he was oddly small. What the hell was going on?”
“Sir, they’re awake” the man said to someone else in the room, and you heard someone walking towards you.
“Would you look at that, the experiment seems to be a success” he said.
You recognized his voice, it was that M.E.C.H freak Silas.
“What did you do to me?” you asked.
Your voice was still pretty garbled, but better than moments before, so he could make out what you were saying.
“See for yourself”
The table you were on, started to move into an upright position. You could see a wall of screens in front of you, there were some sorts of schematics displayed on them. Your vision finally focused properly, and you could see what was on the screens.
You felt like you were going to pass out, but something wouldn’t let you. It was like you got to the edge, but something was preventing you from falling into the void. You started to struggle, and some sort of machine started to beep rapidly. You had to get away from them, you had to get back to the autobots, surely they could help you. How long had you been gone? Those sick bastards hadn’t done this in days, it was probably more like weeks, even months.
By some miracle, you managed to get out of the restraints, but you fell down immediately, your legs wouldn’t hold you. Were they even your legs? Or were they hers? You could hear the crackling of those big taser-like devices the M.E.C.H members used.
"You shouldn’t strain yourself, your body is still adjusting" Silas said, standing next to you.
You could barely hold yourself up with your arms, so escape didn’t seem likely. However, staying there wasn’t an option either, who knows what kind of experiments they had planned for you. You probably only had one chance, if you managed to catch these bastards by surprise and your body would cooperate, you might have a chance to get away.
Suddenly there was a commotion outside.
“The autobots are here, we need to retreat!” someone yelled.
Arcee had come for you, you knew she wouldn’t abandon you. Now all you had to do was make sure Silas and his henchmen couldn’t take you with them. You swiped them away with your hand as quickly as you could, while the commotion outside had caught them by surprise.
“I’m in here” you tried to yell.
Your voice didn’t sound like your own at all. You could speak more clearly now, but the autobots wouldn’t be able to tell who you were by your voice. Would they be able to tell at all? You were in Airachnid’s body now. You had somehow been put together like some sort of Frankenstein’s monster. Would Arcee even know it was you? Would she believe you if you told her, or would she just think it was another one of Airachnid’s tricks? Would you even get a chance to explain?
The people who’d done this to you were all leaving through the door behind you, but you were too weak to stop any of them. You were half laying on the ground, barely able to hold your upper body in an upright position.
When Arcee busted into the warehouse, she was ready to put an end to the life of that spidery con. So when she found her nemesis, and the first word out of her mouth was “Cee!” she was understandably confused.
“Don’t call me that” Arcee hissed at the con in front of her.
“I don’t know what they did to me, but I’m not Airachnid. Cee please, it’s me (Name)”
“Shut your mouth decepticon. You don’t get to say their name, and for the last time, stop calling me that” Arcee said as she pointed her blaster straight at your chest.
“Please, I’m begging you. Remember the first time you told me you loved me? We were on top of the base that one chilly night, looking at the stars and I tripped and almost fell off. You grabbed me and stopped me from falling. You saved my life that time. Airachnid wouldn’t know something like that”
Arcee’s blaster started to shudder, and she lowered it slowly. She didn’t understand what was going on. Whoever it was in front of him, they didn’t seem like Airachnid. They didn’t give off the malice and bloodlust that was always present when she was around. It couldn’t be you either, right?
You were almost sure you had convinced her of your identity, and you could leave the strength leaving your body. You collapsed, and the last thing you saw before it all went dark, was Arcee’s confused face.
Arcee decided it would be best to have Ratchet take a look at you at the warehouse rather than bringing you to the base, in case this was some sort of scam. Ratchet scanned you and immediately told everyone else to leave, he needed to talk to Arcee alone. He had an odd look on his face, but mainly it came off as disgust.
“It is Airachnid, isn’t it?” Arcee asked gravely.
“Not exactly” Ratchet said, not looking at Arcee.
“It is Airachnid’s body, yes, but she appears to be dead. (Name) seems to be in control of this… amalgamation”
“Ratchet, could you explain what’s going on? What do you mean by amalgamation?” Arcee asked, starting to sound impatient.
Ratchet was a medic, he had seen all kinds of horrific things, but this might just be the worst. He didn’t really have a choice. He had to open up the chest panels of this thing now in front of him. He had to make sure that whatever the situation was, you would remain alive, if it could be called living. It might have been a mercy to let you drift away.
If cybertronians could throw up, Arcee was sure this was the situation where it would’ve happened. When Ratchet popped open the chest panels, Arcee staggered back a few steps. Almost falling down from the shock. You were in there, a part of you was at least. She felt sick.
“What…?” Arcee whispered.
“I don’t fully understand what’s going on, but it seems they’ve somehow fused (Name)’s consciousness with Airachnid’s body by connecting their brain with-”
“Stop, I don’t want to know!” Arcee exclaimed.
What kind of person could do this? What kind of monster did one have to be to do something like this to another person? Arcee didn’t really care much for the fact that Airachnid was dead, but even she didn’t deserve this.
“Are they alive?” Arcee asked coldly.
“You could say that. In any case, we must take them back to the base, so I can assess the situation properly”
She couldn’t even bring herself to help carry you through the ground bridge. Arcee couldn’t touch you, she could barely even look at you. How could she move past this? Would she even be able to? Just thinking about touching you while you were like that made a shiver go down her spine. She couldn’t stand the thought of losing you, but was this really a better option? Was it really better to doom you to such a horrible existence? You would be forced to live in a foreign body. You weren’t human anymore, but you weren’t a cybertronian either, you never would be. Like Ratchet said, you were an amalgamation, a nightmarish one at that. Arcee didn’t know what to think. She didn’t know what to do. She just felt sick. No matter how much she loved you, could she live with how you were now? Would death be a mercy for you?

Reader in Airachnid's body, part 3
A/N: I was feeling motivated, so I decided to just continue this right away. I started writing this almost immediately after the last part. The first part can be found here and the second part here
Before you'd met the autobots, you had just been a normal human. A normal human, with a relatively normal life. When you met Arcee, your life had been turned upside down, you'd been pulled into the midst of a war you didn't really understand, and you'd fallen in love, hard. Things had been good for a couple of years, but then those M.E.C.H people got their hands on you and your world was flipped yet again. This time in the worst way possible, in a way you could never have even imagined.
It had been two weeks since you woke up in the base and since your talk that night, Arcee hadn't talked to you. You would have gladly taken her yelling at you at this point, anything but this silent treatment. The others weren't much better, Ratchet and Optimus were the only ones that could hold a conversation with you for more than a minute. You didn't want to force it, maybe if you just gave them time, they would realize you were still you.
The dark thoughts started to creep in anyway. There was this quiet voice at the back of your mind. It was always there, waiting for a chance to whisper in your ear.
"They're never going to trust you again" it whispered.
You tried to ignore it, but after weeks and weeks of trying to hold onto hope, it started to sound like it was making sense. Arcee still hadn't talked to you, and the others never looked you in the eye during the rare times they did talk to you. It just kept getting worse.
You started noticing things. The way they had to stop themselves mid-transformation to not let their blasters come out when you approached them too quickly. The way Bulkhead and Wheeljack shared a glance every time you entered the room, as if to tell each other to not react in an adverse way. The way Optimus' optics were full of pity, but at the same time his guard was all the way up. The way no one ever quite met your gaze again. The way Bumblebee would position himself between you and the kids, even if he didn't realize it.
"It's unfair, isn't it? They shouldn't treat you like that" the voice whispered.
Yeah, it was unfair, wasn't it. You hadn't done anything wrong. This had been done to you. It wasn't your fault you'd been made into this thing. They just couldn't get over the fact that you looked like Airachnid now. Didn't they understand? You were still you.
Arcee didn't know what to do. You weren't you anymore, not really. You didn't look like you, you didn't sound like you, and you didn't act like you either, not really. She could always hear that dreary, cold, heavy sound your now metallic heels made, before you even entered the room. It was like the sound was echoing through the whole base, every time you walked around. For a while after you woke up, your movements were awkward and janky. However, as the weeks went by, you started moving more like her. The way you walked, the way you moved your hands when you talked, that specific way you cocked your head to the side when you glared at the kids when they were being rowdy. That glare was uncomfortably similar to one she'd been subjected to so many times before.
Arcee knew it was impossible. No one could go through something like that and come out the other side unchanged. This was more than that, however, you weren't just not yourself, you were becoming more like her every passing day. More and more like Airachnid and less like the person she loved.
The voice was always there. Soothing you, holding you through the nights you now had to spend alone in some secluded corner of the base. It was so sweet, it just wanted the best for you. You didn't need the autobots' approval. If you were going to be abandoned by them, you might as well leave before they could kick you out.
"If they get in your way, I'll help you" the voice promised.
"Thank you" you answered out loud.
"No need to thank me, I'm here for you, always" the voice said sweetly.
"You're the only one who cares about me. Arcee certainly doesn't" you sighed.
"We don't need her, you should just get rid of her" the voice suggested.
Suddenly, the garage door to your room flew up and Arcee marched in, looking furious.
"Who were you talking to?" she hissed.
"What do you care?" you rolled your eyes.
"I don't, but you've been acting strange. More like… her"
"So you speak to me for the first time in weeks, and it's to complain? Typical" you scoffed, crossing your arms over your chest.
Arcee was taken aback by how much you sounded like Airachnid. When you first woke up, you hadn't sounded like yourself, but you hadn't sounded like her either, but now? It was like you were slowly becoming her… or maybe you already had. She wished with all her being that this hadn't happened to you. She wished you had gotten to live a normal, human life. She wished you hadn't become this thing. You really were gone, and there was nothing she could do to get you back, and it filled her with grief. Arcee finally met your gaze and looked at you, really looked at you and what she saw, broke her spark.
"I'm so tired of you looking at me like that!" you exclaimed and gave her a shove.
Arcee was too shocked to stop what happened next. You pinned her against the wall by her throat, and before she knew it, your blaster was under her chin.
"What are you-" Arcee started.
"I don't understand why you keep looking at me like that. I'm still me" you hissed as you pressed the blaster against the underside of her chin.
Arcee didn't understand how you could still keep insisting that. Didn't you see what you were doing? Didn't you realize how you were acting? Or were you truly so convinced that you were still yourself that you couldn't see how much you had changed? Was this who you'd always been, deep down inside?
"No, you're not! Don't you see what you're doing?!" she yelled.
"What could you possibly mean by that? I'm the same as I've always been" you smirked deviously.
There it was, that sickly sweet tone Arcee despised so much. You really were gone.

{Some thoughts about RiAB. And beware, it doesn’t feel like my best work, though that’s probably because it’s 1:23am right now and I’m tired as dirt. Yuck. Still, good luck and remember to rest up!}
For RiAB:
Honestly? Arcee has nobody to blame but herself.
I loved the wording at the end of part 3, because it feels like Arcee is seeing this from her point of view, and it shows how skewed it is.
She immediately jumps on the argument that Reader isn’t the same as they were, which isn’t that big of a surprise to anyone with deductive reasoning. And all it takes is for her to have one rant to the team, aloud, for doubt to start to creep in and for people to reevaluate the past weeks.
We’ve tried everything? Maybe, but did you tell them that? Did you talk to them properly?
They aren’t acting the same? Have we treated them the same? Have we tried to show, if not understanding, then compassion?
Which…could’ve solved the problem they created. Compassion.
But…it’s also dangerous a double edged sword. Compassion.
Because for the same reason it could’ve saved Reader, it’s the same reason they’re falling.
As much as it hurts, as much as they want to drop everything and just run…it’s the same reason they didn’t leave weeks ago.
What would they think?
What would she think?
It’s that fatal weakness.
compassion
But no matter, give her enough time. Give her enough control.
And from your misguided and abused compassion, she’ll weave at web of armour so strong.
Nothing will ever harm us again.
Ohohoooh, yes I definitely love all of that :D I already have plans for like either one long part next, or two shorter ones, and some stuff past that too. I feel like this is gonna end up being a pretty long fic series at least for me, but I'm all for it lol. Thank you for your thoughts again! Compassion can be very dangerous when misused. I'm probably going to steal that "Nothing will ever harm us again" line, thank you very much. I so love reading these asks, and I feel so happy that you take the time to write them, thank you :D

{This isn’t a request, worry not, I just got carried away with what was originally a compliment to your writing. Truely, my deepest apologies for how long this got, I got inspiration like, halfway through and couldn’t stop typing.}
Damn. That writing with Amalgamated Reader and Arachnid is crazy. And, to tell the truth…I don’t see how a happy ending is possible. No, correction, it IS impossible.
The way nobody will ever quite look you in the eye again.
The way you walk into the room, how their arms tense and the sound of gears whirring as they force their weapons to stop mid-shift.
The double takes, unconscious grimaces and quick apologies that they can never fully control.
How chatter stops when they hear you approaching.
The clicking of metal heels that herald your arrival, triggering reflexes that they stifle as best they can.
You feel your body and soul rotting away, withering and dying in that cold cybertronian casket, screaming for help or a way to cease the pain in your heart and the poison in your gut.
…Then you hear a whisper.
A soothing sound. So gentle and sweet, how she understands you, how she knows the pain you feel so deeply. And how she wants to help you through it.
Her touch is so soft, holding you and guiding you like you’re taking your first steps. Teaching you how to walk without using the walls.
How to ignore the stares.
How to shut out the whispers from the outside would.
How you aren’t so alone anymore.
How she’s there to caress you, hold you close and tell you she cares.
Because she has no choice.
All she needs, is for you to let her help. Because you’re in this together now.
So…
Let.Me. In.
A bit of a spoiler I guess, but I don't see a happy ending for it either tbh. I'm pretty sure this is gonna be all angst and no comfort. Also this made me so freaking happy to read and I'm definitely going to use some of this. If that's okay with you of course? Not like word for word, but the vibe is exactly what I want to go for. Again, thank you so much for sending me this, it's so good :D

Thinking back on the Riab au I can see Reader loosing faith in arcee and the autobots after they unintentionally make them feel alone and distance that in their anger they join the decepticons out of spite and anger and spite, and also later on presenting Megatron with the insecticon hive as proof of their loyalty, and they would psychologically torment Arcee, saying things like "You could not save Tailgate, you could not save Cliffjumper, and you could not save me.".
Ohohohoo I definitely like that last line :D I was pretty sure I wasn't going to make the reader join the cons, but you're making me reconsider that. Even if I don't make them join the decepticons, I'm definitely gonna have to remember that last line, because damn it's good lol :D

Now I am thinking of RIAB reader having the mindset to protect earth from the decepticons in her own brutal way and without the approval of the autobots and arcee, she might even declare she will leave the autobots to do what they can't do.
I do also like this tbh. I think the reader will probably end up at least leaving the autobots, even if they don't end up going against the con. I'm like 99% sure the reader is not joining the cons no matter what happens, but I'm not sure how this is gonna end yet, even though I do have a lot of ideas. Thank you for your ideas as well, I really appreciate you taking the time to share them with me :D

Found the RiAB (Reader in Arachnid’s Body) posts and am very intrigued. From how the Acree and the autobots seem to not recognize how the treatment could affect the reader, to how it led into Arachnid being able to control the reader easily through comfort. I wonder if, if the amalgamation of Reader and Arachnid were able to be alone and Reader became more stable, would Reader influence Arachnid like Arachnid influenced Reader? (albeit less intentionally). They’ve got to share now, after all.
It must be rough for her as well, waking up from death to find herself within enemy territory, forced together with something organic that’s piloting her body. At least the situation at hand was able to be used to her advantage. That’s me assuming she’s a conscious in the body, though, and not some phantom of metal-muscle memory.
I’m most interested in what development of this hybrid would be like. Being able to know someone else’s thoughts directly is a level of closeness a human would normally never experience. Would Arachnid be able to experience a dream?
Sorry if I’m rambling a bit, I like the story you’re writing!
Thank you very much, I love hearing you guys' thoughts on what I write, and it inspires me a lot. I might write the next part from Airachnid's perspective, at least partly, with her becoming more conscious and aware. These are interesting thoughts, and I think I could definitely explore at least some of them. I especially like the dream one, so I think I'll do something with that. Also, ramble all you want, I always love hearing you guys' ideas and different takes on my stories :D (I'm also gonna add a "riab au" tag to all the posts in this series, as well as all the asks I get about it, so they're hopefully easier to find)
