1, 3, 6, 13, 14 for the friend group asks, for all 3 groups
Hi Cady! Thanks for the asks!
Ask list here
1. Who is the leader? Who is the one who everybody looks up to?
TE gang: I would think that Griffin is the most natural leader amongst them all, and the one that the group looks up to. Anitha is a close second in leadership qualities but she is not the person that everyone "looks up to".
HSS gang: For this, I am going with Maria. This girl can handle anything that is thrown at her, can multitask, keeps the stability in the group, and the person everyone looks up to.
CA gang: There is no person I would particularly define as a "leader" other than Ajay for the group. Skye comes as a close second.
3. Who's the mom friend? Who's the dad friend?
TE Gang: I would say both Griffin and Beckett take on the mom friend/dad friend roles. Because only they are the people who can stop the gang from doing something utterly crazy.
HSS Gang: Maria easily takes on the mom friend role, considering she takes on most of the organizing and in my HC, the one who makes the others study and the one who holds exam revision sessions. Caleb would be the dad friend, the one who makes things more easygoing, the more caring person in the friend group.
CA Gang: Ajay is easily the dad and Erin is the mom of the group, who control a drama queen and a short-tempered daughter.
6. Who is the funniest person in the group?
TE Gang: I don't know about funny, but Zeph is the guy that lightens the mood, plans pranks and makes things fun, accompanied by Shreya and Atlas.
HSS Gang: Myra does make jokes often, but most of the ones are the groan-worthy ones or puns. Every once in a while Ria would come up with funny jokes too (courtesy for learning from Scott).
CA Gang: Mila would easily take this spot, because she knows how to make fun, and even can manage to make Skye smile with her shenigans.
13. Who is the peace maker?
TE Gang: Aster would be the peacemaker, the one that grounds the friend group, and keep any fights from escalating beyond limit. She keeps the argument "friendly".
HSS Gang: Ria is the one who can stop Michael and Maria's constant bickering, but Emma is the true peacemaker of the group, even during the events of OG book 2.
CA Gang: Skye would be the ultimate peacemaker of the group, like how she dissolved the group conflict in bk 2 and got Rory and Carlos to work together for the election.
14. Who is the most explosive when it comes to arguing? Who is the one who has to diffuse them?
TE Gang: Atlas is more explosive when it comes to arguing, which instigates Anitha to get into counter argument mode. The other friends are all equally good at diffusing the arguments when the situation demands.
HSS Gang: I don't think there is anyone who is outrightly explosive when it comes to arguing.
CA Gang: Mila is more explosive when it comes to arguing, and most of the time, Skye can diffuse it, but occasionally Ajay is also good at it.

It's not so easy to fully leave being the WoL behind, even if one tries -- an Apprentice PoV story that may or may not be Snowverse canon officially. (~2.2k)
Warnings: blood/violence/injury (mildly graphic)
Note: PoV char is probably late teens or so, for gen. reference
You spent as much time at their cottage as not – perhaps more even, if you thought about it. It was one of several recent days that you'd been there so long that you simply stayed for the night.
They insisted that it wasn't imposing, that they already had a futon for guests prepared. It was honestly more comfortable than your bed back in the village.
You were still awake, but only barely. Full from dinner, burrowed in blankets, utterly cozy. Edel was still at work downstairs, if you had to guess. Oh, there was a chance he'd retired to his room down there – but you doubted it. His schedule had ever been a late one on the good days, when not reminded to rest.
G'raha was… in the attic, last you recalled. He'd gone up there not long ago, to that mysterious place that you'd been requested to avoid.
You trusted them for nothing upstairs to be anything dangerous, they weren't like that.
There were quiet footsteps out in the hall, moving to the cellar stairs. Ah, there he was – hopefully going to remind Edelweiss to sleep.
It occurred to you belatedly that you had not heard the squeaky attic steps before the movements you'd heard a moment ago. You sat up, looking at the capybara curled up near the edge of the futon, fully asleep.
There was a fourth person in the house.
No sooner did you fully process that realization than did you hear the chaos. Loud commotion, even through the cellar’s sound dampening – a crash, multiple voices yelling, a scream – you were on your feet in a moment. You nearly collided with G'raha in the hall, him sprinting to the stairs. You followed him, hurrying down into the cellar and turning into the workshop.
It… took a moment to process what you were looking at. Once your mind began to make sense of it, your body remained frozen – the only movement made to cover your mouth in horror.
G'raha had no such hesitation, getting to Edel’s side in an instant.
The sight was something from a nightmare. Edelweiss, kneeling on the floor and trembling, so covered with blood that it was difficult to tell if he was injured. A dead or dying body in front of him, its lifeblood spreading across the tile in a growing puddle. Edelweiss tightly clutching a small woodcarving knife, his blood-splattered face dead-eyed. The body sluggishly bleeding from a gash in its throat – gruesome yet perfectly aimed. For the first time, briefly, you understood what some of the other villagers perceived about Edelweiss.
If nothing else, he knew exactly how to kill.
G'raha knelt down, prying the knife out of unmoving hands and turning Edel away from the body. G'raha shifted, uncaring of the mess under his knees.
“Ria, love – look at me. Look at me.” G'raha frantically tried to look him over. “Are you harmed?”
Ria?
…You supposed you'd always known his name was not Edelweiss. It was a miracle you hadn't heard it before then, really.
Ria(?) nodded silently, no urgency to the movement and no clarification given. G'raha swore and hovered his hands over Ria’s body, palms now brightly glowing.
“What happened?” G'raha's voice was so gentle, undemanding. “Do you know this person?”
Ria miserably shook his head. His mouth opened long before any strained words found their way out. It was nearly too quiet to hear.
“All they said… was ‘you know what you've done.’” Ria chuckled, a dry raspy thing. “That doesn't narrow it down at all.” His shaking worsened and voice became choked up. “Why now? We've been left alone this whole time.”
G'raha pulled Ria close. “It shall be alright. We can put up wards, whatever it takes. Mayhap it was just this one person, anyway – ‘tis not your fault.”
“Isn't it, though?! They came here to kill me for a reason, even if they didn't explain it.” Ria’s breath hitched and he tilted his head down. “If I didn't panic, maybe… I mean, I didn't have to kill just now, I should've been able to handle this just fine without…”. Ria looked at his bloody hands.
“Ria… one thing at a time, then. May we get you cleaned off? I can carry you, if need be.”
Ria nodded quickly, rapidly losing the fight against his body's wish to begin sobbing. You weren't sure that you should be seeing him like this.
G'raha seemingly had the same realization at the same time. He turned his head partway in your direction, speaking in a flat voice – not cruel, not harsh, but not particularly gentle either.
“Either assist or stop watching.”
You snapped out of your frozen state and stepped into the cellar, gingerly skirting around the pool of blood. You had no clue what to do with the corpse (oh gods), but you knew what to do with the rest. There was a small bucket of scrap sawdust and wood shavings for various uses, and you grabbed that to begin pouring over the blood. If you could do little else, you could at least soak it up and make it easier to sweep. You'd been taught this for other bodily messes – it surely must apply in this nightmare too.
You did what you could, managing to turn a wide spread of blood into a bucket of wet sawdust. The floor remained smeared with blood, but that was a separate matter.
Meanwhile, G'raha set about bringing Ria to bathe – he refused to unclasp his arms from around G'raha's shoulders, so he supported Ria’s legs and just lifted him in that position.
He tilted his head that you should follow, and you sighed in relief to not be alone with the body. The kitchen table became your waiting spot, as you heard running water and faint talking on the other side of the cottage.
When the front door suddenly opened, you scrambled up from the table and had a knife in hand before you could even think twice. In walked a motley group – a miqo'te woman, an elezen man, a lalafellin woman, and a hyuran man. (All with fairly light hair, too.)
“At ease, G'raha gave us a call. We've come to help with… all this.”
It was the Hyur that'd tried to reassure you, later introducing himself as Thancred.
Despite their claims, you did not put the knife down yet, and you followed them down the stairs to keep an eye out – all except the Lalafell, who went to the stove instead. “Never had the stomach for that sort of thing, really”, she'd said.
You watched them fuss and mutter over the corpse, digging through every pocket in its clothes. Or rather, Thancred did as such, while the Miqo'te stood a polite few steps away, offering her own observations. The Elezen nodded and scribbled down notes, giving commentary that was nearly incomprehensible to you.
They must've come to some sort of conclusion as to the identity and motive, because the conversation quickly shifted to solving a different issue – how were they to best discreetly dispose of a body? Such that it would never lead back to these two, anyway.
You decided you would rather not know and made your retreat, finally putting the knife back in its proper slot in the kitchen. The Lalafell appeared in front of you with fresh tea and you nearly jumped. “To calm your nerves”, she said. You sat down at the table again and sipped gratefully, Tataru being kind enough to give her name and also that of those remaining.
She patted your arm. “I'll look into whatever information they give me, and if that person wasn't alone, we'll be ready.”
Perhaps she thought that was more reassuring, but you hadn't even considered the possibility that there may be another attack. You shuddered and tried to nod.
You did not pay attention to anything that may have been happening behind you. No, you'd rather not see. It was enough to know that there was no longer a dead body within the house, that was all.
It occurred to you, briefly, that you'd surely seen and heard something you weren't meant to. Several things, really. You didn't think aught of consequence would happen to you – you hoped. You could keep a secret, if needed.
The sound of the bathroom door opening was heard moments later. You look up and there's – would he want you to use Edelweiss, still…? Regardless of the answer, he was there – damp but clean, wrapped in a soft robe. G'raha led him to the couch, where the other guests came to speak with him. (Some openly fretting, like Tataru, and some keeping a more polite distance.)
You… did not belong in this conversation, did you?
You did the only thing you could think of and slipped back downstairs alone. The body was, blessedly, gone as you'd expected. All that remained after your prior sawdust attempts was drying smears and splatters. Luck had smiled upon the nearby rug, at least, with it being just out of range.
You knew how to do this – you'd cleaned up spilled paint off the tile down here before, after all. Before long, it was as though nothing had ever happened.
Despite this, you could not quite help yourself from scrubbing anxiously against the grout lines in case any trace remained.
It was a good thing the pail of water you were using was out of reach, or you may have knocked it over when someone said your name.
You whipped your head around to see G'raha standing at the bottom of the stairs. He looked pained, somehow.
“You did not need to do this – ‘tis not your responsibility. But thank you all the same.” He walked over and knelt by you. “Forgive me. Our intent was not for you to feel unwelcome, especially after you witnessed such sights tonight. How are you faring?”
In lieu of an answer, you lurched forward and tightly hugged him, praying that it was not a grievous overstep.
Instead, G'raha laid a hand on your back, murmuring to you. “Forgive me. When we opened our home to you, we thought it would be somewhere safe.” He sighed, and then something harsher crept into his voice. “I'll make damn certain nothing like this happens ever again.”
You leaned back and subtly wiped at your eyes. “Does he like being called Ria?”
G'raha blinked at you for a moment. “Oh, er – that's… you shall have to ask him if you may use that one. Not tonight, though.”
You nodded. Not tonight indeed.
G'raha stood and offered you his hand. “Come with me, there is something you should see. You deserve that much, at least.”
You were not surprised when he led you to the attic door, even as your heart pounded to be standing there. G'raha unlatched the door and… then you were stepping into a space you'd been barred from since your first visit.
You immediately understood why. There was too much for your eyes to even focus on one thing at a time. There was some normalcy, that of a storied traveler. Vintage weapons, Limsa Lomisan banners, souvenirs from the East, all manner of art on the walls.
But it got progressively… stranger from there. Tiny models of machines that looked more advanced than anything you'd seen in your life, glowing panels that looked to be from some ancient ruins, a section of the floor covered in iridescent flowers, a bizarre black metal with purple glowing from its etchings, sets of ethereal wings framed on the wall, and a painting of an odd city that made your heart hurt to look at.
No normal person would likely own even a single one of these objects.
G'raha waited several minutes to let you take it all in and then cleared his throat. “Ria is…”
“He was the Warrior of Light, our Savior, wasn't he?”
G'raha winced. “...Yes. And he would prefer to leave that behind to live in peace, to not be called that, now that his body needs a gentler life.”
“I understand.” You looked around the space again. “If he's given his all to the star, why would someone try to kill him?”
An exhaustion settled over G'raha and he looked oddly world-weary for his age. “For every few dozen people we saved, one met their end on the battlefield at his or my own hands. For the loved ones of those people, we are likely murderers first and heroes second.” He sat down on the edge of an old storage chest. “I can escort you back to town in the morning, and then you need not return.”
You took a step back. “I – what?”
“Knowing what you do now, I would not blame you if you ended your apprenticeship and our friendship. Ria and I have both killed countless people, and death haunts us still. I cannot promise safety here, nor can I promise you'll never be subjected to that gruesome of a sight again.”
You shook your head. “No. To me, you are still just a craftsperson and his husband. You can't scare me away that easy.”
Despite your words, your hands still trembled with fading adrenaline. G'raha's eyes locked onto the motion.
“If you would prefer, you may stay in our bedroom tonight – we can provide a comfortable place for you to lie down, if you wish for the company.”
“That… sounds quite nice, actually. Thank you.”
It was hard to tell, but you got the sense that... G'raha was quite pleased you intended to continue spending time with them.
#snow-system#s'ria 🌸❄️#writings#dubiously canon#happy belated halloween#G'raha is quite nice to the apprentice. you can see it in the rest of the fic#so him essentially telling them to either help or go away is probably the least gentle he's ever been with them

A Pearl
Read for context: You Aren't Sorry
Warnings: Angst with a happy ending, slight public smut, infidelity, one-sided Maria Hill x Reader
Words: 1,432
Summary?: basically Maria and R being besties, and us getting back with a lil someone at the end.
A/N: a few people asked for a part 2 so here it is! I feel like we should've picked Maria.
Drink water, eat and sleep properly my angels! <3
Maria finds her way to your bedroom a few hours after you called her. “Oh Y/N..” she rushes over to your limp body, pulling you close to her. “Ria I– I broke up with Nat,” she looks down at you, “But I don't feel any better than before.” you let out a choked sob, burying your head into the crook of her neck.
She rubs your back, attempting to calm you down. “Shh.. it's okay Y/N.” you sniffle, shaking your head. “Maria I loved her.” she nods, her voice cracking as she spoke, “I know. I know you did.” tears roll down your cheeks, as you continously bring your hands up to wipe them away with your palms.
“She didn't deserve you Y/N.” she takes a hold of your hands, grasping them with her own. You look up at her with wide eyes, “What I'm trying to say, is that there are plenty of other people that'll love you like how you loved her.” the corners of your lips curl up-wards, a slight smile makes its way onto your face.
“Thank you.. for being here for me Ria.” she smiles at you, “Always.” she says, planting a soft kiss to the side of your head. You close your eyes, feeling yourself drift off to the dream realm, sleep taking over you. “Can you stay..?” you ask, mumbling out, half-asleep.
“Of course.” she whispers, covering the both of you with a warm blanket. She gently lifts you off of her, slowly placing you on your pillow.
She wakes up a couple hours before you, and quietly makes her way out of your bedroom. Sighing as she closes your door, "She loves Natasha, not me."
The ex-assassin catches the brunette from the corner of her eyes, “Hill, what are you doing here?” Maria turns to face her. “Why is it any of your business?” Natasha frowns, glaring at her. “From what I remember Romanoff, you fucked up. Y/N loved you, you screwed up with her.”
Natasha opens her mouth to speak but, you open your door, “Ria what are you doing out of bed... Natasha.” the red-head glances at you, “Maria come back in the room.” you rub your eyes sleepily, ignoring your ex.
You pull her into your room, shutting the door behind you. “Why'd you leave?” you say, sitting on the edge of the bed. “I went to get water.” she lied. You believed her, “Oh! I had water in my room you could've just—” she sits down next to you, “I didn't know, I'm sorry.” you smile slightly, looking up at her.
“It's okay Ria.” you say, resting your head on her shoulder. She tenses up, hesitant to bring her hand up to your head. “You okay?” you move your head from her shoulder and look at her. “Of course I am, why– why wouldn't I be Y/N?” you furrow your brows in thought, “Okay..”
“You wanna do something?” you say, turning your gaze back to the woman. “Like what?” you shrug, “I don't know.” she looks down at you, “I could get breakfast for us and let you think while I'm gone..?” you smile, “Please?” she chuckles, kissing your forehead before leaving.
“What are your intentions with Y/N?” Natasha asks, the minute she steps into the kitchen. “Why do you care?” Maria walks behind the counter, getting out breakfast for you two. “I– I don't. I'm just asking.” the brunette glances at Natasha, “It doesn't matter if she doesn't see me like that.” Maria spoke up, causing the red-head to pause for a moment.
“She doesn't?” Maria grabs the bowls of food, “No.” she lets out an awkward laugh as she walks back into your room.
“Ria! You're back!” you smile, wrapping your arms around her. She laughs, “Y/N I'm gonna drop breakfast if you do that.” you break the hug, taking a bowl from her hand. “Right. Sorry-” she smiles, “It's okay.” the both of you sit down on your bed and eat breakfast.
You eat your food in silence till Maria speaks up, “Listen Y/N,” you look up at her, hm? “Do you still love her?” you sigh, setting the empty bowl on your nightstand. “Ye– yes. I do.” she hums in response, muttering a quiet “Okay.”
“Tony's throwing another party tomorrow, as usual,” she says, trying to break the awkward tension. “Would you, only if you want–” you smile, “Yes, I'll go to the party with you.” she blinks, exhaling shakily. “It's the least I could do Ria.”
You were dressed in a tight, but breathable black dress. The neck was a bit longer, showing off some cleavage. You did a quick twirl in front of the mirror, admiring yourself, before hearing a knock on the door. “Yeah, yeah I'm coming hold on!” you almost trip, struggling to put your heels on as you open the door.
“Ria! Hey.” you smile, wrapping your arms around her neck, pulling her into a hug. She returns the smile, hugging you tightly. “Hey– you look beautiful Y/N.” you feel a slight blush creep up, forming color on your cheeks. “Thank you.. so do you!”
She grins as she breaks, hooking her arm with yours. “Let's go?” you nod, stepping out of your room and making your way up to the party floor.
As soon as you enter the floor, you don't notice it but she does. Maria could practically feel the red-heads piercing gaze, right at you two. She clears her throat, looking back down at you, “Wanna go get a drink?” you nod, “Sure!”
The two of you make your to the bar, you grab another drink, sitting next to her as you sip from the glass. “Y/N I think that's enough for tonight.” she chuckles, whisking away your now, empty shot glass.
You whine, “Give ittt Ria!” she pushes the glass away from you, you huff, crossing your arms. “Fine. Hmm.. wanna go dance?” you ask her, batting your lashes. She sighs, giving into your act, “Okay fine.” you beam, pulling her to the dance floor
Natasha watches you two from across the room, seeing the way you smile at Maria like you used to smile at her. She misses it. She misses you.
You were dancing with the brunette, pressing your bodies together, swaying your hips to the music. She presses light kisses to your neck, sparking an anger within her.
A bit after, you left the dance floor and made your way back to the bar. “Y/N.” you blink, turning around to look at the familiar voice. “Natasha.” she takes a step closer to you. “I know what you're gonna say but, I'm sorry for everything that I did to you.” you sigh, clenching your jaw. “Okay..”
“I'm so, so sorry detka I wish I treated you better when we were together,” she takes a hold of your hands, you freeze, watching tears form in the corner of her eyes. “Nat I–”
“If you ever take me back I promise that I'l be better, that I'l change, please Y/N.” she blinks back a few tears, holding onto your hands tightly. You chew on the inner part of your cheek, “Okay.” her eyes light up, “Really?” you nod hesitantly. “Let's take this out of the party though.”
You pull her into the empty hallways, she slams her lips against yours, you let out soft moans as she brings her hands up to your thighs and wraps them around her waist. “Natasha..” you breathed out in between heated kisses.
She pushes you against the wall, making you gasp at the impact. “Did you dress up like this for me baby?” she says, slightly spreading out your legs. She brings a free hand between your thighs, moving your panties to the side to show off your glistening slit.
Your dress runs up to your hips, you let out a moan when you feel her press her thumb against your clit. “Fuck.. kotenok you're so wet.” she pumps in two fingers inside your aching cunt, making you moan uncontrollably. “Shh.. detka be quiet.” you can practically hear the smirk she was giving when she says that.
She thrusts her fingers deep inside your pussy, you bite down hard on your lower lip, suppressing a loud moan. “N-Nat it's too much I–” she grunts, curling her fingers and stretching you out. “Fuck!” she smirks, “Can't be quiet for daddy hm?” she says, pulling her fingers out.
You whimper at her leaving you empty. She picks you up off of the wall and leads you inside her room, closing her door shut.

Now I did mention i would make a lengthy introduction with my pc's but im again too busy for that so here's just some info that's interesting enough:
Rini gets really engrossed in whatever he's doing whether it's chores, school works or even doing a job, he gets really focused and isn't verbal unless spoken to.
And because he gets so engrossed, he also easily gets too dedicated on it- too much that he'd rather end up killing himself if he doesn't finish or see it through. Which is something his twin Ria worries on a daily basis.
Here's an example: 'Ria stood at the doorway, eyes narrowed at the sight of her little brother hunched away at his desk, the sound of papers flipping and pencil scratching were somehow loud in the quiet hallways of the orphanage. Dawn is drawing near and yet there he is, still writing away in his little project that shouldn't have taken so much of his time and rest.'
So guess her reaction when she found out he became an initiate at the temple. As much as she lets her little brother go and do his own thing, she sometimes can't help the urge to make him stay inside where he's safe. Even if it's the orphanage, she'd much rather be the one to carry his part of the debt just to keep him safe.
Rini wasn't really too into being a member of the temple, at first he only joined because he heard there would be an allowance and also because he was debating on getting a chastity cage after that encounter with that bastard when he left the orphanage (the tutorial person)
But after a year of being in the temple greatly changed his perception of it. Ria joked to him once about how he should back out so that they can continue their dream of leaving this city- until she noticed the brief panic flickering in his eyes and having no response to her joke, they both knew then and there that Rini is in too deep of being a member of the temple.
Ria gains a bit of control whenever she scolds or discipline Rini, but that rarely happens between them as they both trust the other's actions and decisions with no doubt.
That is until Rini fucked up and banished away Ria's first parasitic child of Ivory Wraith. Was it an accident? No. Did Rini knew it was hers? Yes and no. Did Rini do it without remorse? Yes because at that time he's already a monk and is aware of the monsters that lurk around town.
So what happened?
Well: 'Not even a minute after he left the library he was roughly pulled by the collar and his back collided with the lockers. The loud bang left the students around them speechless, the halls now awfully quite. Rini let out a hiss between clenched teeth as he bleary opened his eyes to see that fucker who did this- but his mouth was left wide open at seeing the same face he always see in the mirror. His sister hold his collar in a tight fist, the dark look in her eyes made his knees trembled and the hair on his skin rising. She's mad. But for what? Rini tried to talk, but his nerves failed him as his mouth couldn't seem to say the words that was on the tip of his tongue. She's mad and dangerous. A predator eyeing up its prey that's backed in a corner, waiting and watching what its next action will be. A foreign yet familiar feeling was in his veins, the same heavy lump on his throat was back and for once since their childhood, Rini truly felt afraid of his sister right now.'
And then it proceed to a beating that left Rini with a broken nose and in tears. Ria cut classes and was gone for the whole day until she came back and apologized for hurting her little brother.
Ria does the more promiscuous jobs instead of Rini. Her main income comes from dates with Avery and mostly selling the produce Rini gives to her from the farm along with selling antiques to Winter.
Rini always tries to pay for her debts but is always denied or the debts were already paid. It always leads him to feeling useless and a visit to the confessional afterwards.
During their stay in the youth ward, there were a lack of clothes between the orphans that the twins would share each others clothes. And it made Rini more comfortable and accustomed to wearing feminine clothing that he would sometimes wear skirts or dresses whenever he feels like it, or his usual clothes being sent to the tailor for fixing up (that lead to a funny and embarrassing encounter with Sydney as he's buying a new set of uniform while wearing his sister's uniform).
Bailey is wary around Ria, and just as they agreed on, would send the person who pays to fuck with Rini to her room. It only lasts a few seconds before the same person is staggering out of her room.
Robin became their first friend after a month being in the orphanage, the older orphans dubbed them as the three R's (Ria, Rini and Robin) due to the three of them always being see together, Rini always in the middle clinging on to Ria and Robin's sleeves or hand.
Rini doesn't like Kylar and it only became worse after he found out Ria is going out with him. It took a lot of bonding before Kylar was in his good graces, but he would always give Kylar a piece of condom whenever he can- either as an advice or a warning not to take things to far with his sister. (Which Kylar then throws it in the trash afterwards)
Ria banned him from going to the lake, the forest, and the sewers. Especially the lake during a blood moon. And Rini doesn't mind and follows it - after that one time he was searching for wolfshrooms in the forest and faced Black Wolf, he immediately decided to never go back unless his sister is with him or he's hanging out with any of his classmates in the lake.
Sometimes Ria feels a sense of aching and a need to protect towards her little brother. She thinks it's merely her motherly instincts kicking in but when she listens to his laughs she can't help but feel like she heard it before. In some stone walls with deserted halls, that laugh being the only thing she hears. Ria shrugs it off, yet she can always hear it in the bottom of the lake. It without a doubt always manage to fool her into thinking it's Rini laughing.
Rini also feels that sense of aching, instead of a laugh he feels lost whenever he wanders in the cloister. Despite the fact he already walked past this halls multiple times, he can't help the feeling of unfamiliarity as he lets his hand feel the walls in his fingertips. Like seeing something old turn into something new, not knowing how to feel at the changes that has happened. But that can't be. This is the first time he has seen and been in the temple, so why does the hallway feel so wrong and different from what he remembered?
Ria and Rini managed to remain kind in this fucked up town, however there is a fine line in between that is tested whenever they see the other getting hurt in anyway. The last time it happened was when a delinquent pushed Rini off the stairs that his left arm with a broken bone and leaving him incapable for long weeks. Unfortunately Ria witnessed it happened with her own eyes. The day after the delinquent came to class with their left arm and face completely beaten up. The students know better than to mess with Rini (Whitney however didn't got the memo)
And that's all im sharing now! there's plenty more lore i have with this two that it's not healthy anymore-

Fragile Lines [Chapter Four] Mind Over Matter [Ignacio “Nacho” Varga]
Summary: In the aftermath of the Kettleman incident, Ria spends the afternoon with her closest friend, unaware that someone is lurking nearby.
Warning(s): recalling the past, implied break-in, worries.
No Minors Allowed!!
Ria bounced her foot like a bobfloat on the water as she waited outside the changing room in Chico's. She was somewhat impatient, wanting to spend her empty afternoon at home, rather than clothes shopping. Checking the time on her phone, she huffed in annoyance.
"Are you changed yet?"
"For fuck's sake Auntie. I just put my pants back on," thirty-three-year-old Everly stated with a laugh. "You act so much like her, I swear. It's like the both of you expect the clothes to just poof onto my body from the hanger."
Ria snorted and turned up her eyes.
"Or perhaps you are just slow."
The door opened and Everly sauntered out, pulling her red hair into a messy bun; the clothes she tried on were folded over her left arm.
"Where else do you have to be? You promised to help me find an outfit for my date tonight."
"I thought you meant at your house where the other 200 outfits you own are shoved in that huge walk-in closet you refuse to admit is another room," Ria retorted, standing.
Despite her desire to go home and lounge in bed with her pajamas on, Ria loved to spend time with Everly, her coworker in the maternity ward. She was a cheerful woman with a bright smile and a face showered with freckles. Children loved her and it was easy to see why; she was the most sociable person Ria had ever met.
"There is that McGill charm I know and love," Everly teased with a laugh.
Ria grinned and led her to the front desk, standing to the side as she handed her purchase to the cashier.
"Our family just oozes charm."
"Especially Jimmy. He's so damn adorable, like Kevin Costner adorable," the redhead declared.
If she had a nickel for every time a person told her this.
"I've honestly thought about breaking a crime just to have him as my DA," Everly added.
"He'd appreciate the business," Ria mentioned.
Too bad for Everly he had his eyes set on Kim Wexler, a gorgeous blonde with a bouncing ponytail and skills to rival his own. He just needed to reel her in before someone else did.
Leaving the store, the two walked across the lot and down to Starbucks for a coffee – for Ria, a hot chocolate. The line was backed up, but neither of them cared.
"Speaking of business," Everly brought up. "Whatever happened to that one case he was working on; the Kettlemans? I heard on the news that they returned home."
"They weren't exactly his clients, but he called me two days after they went missing and told me that they were just camping," Ria answered.
She opted to mention the phone call she received from Jimmy at the hospital, about them, she later learned. Ria all but broke down his door the morning she heard the news. She knew there was more to the story, but all he told her was that he believed someone was stalking them; according to the news, a suspicious van was sighted outside their house before they went missing, confirming his claim. But then the next day, the family suddenly reappeared.
"Everyone was making such a big deal about it. One rich family goes missing and the entire city is in an uproar," Everly pointed out.
It was a strange ordeal indeed. Ria wondered however if Jimmy had taken her advice. Their disappearance ironically took place right after he called her; it was one detail he left out when explaining it to her.
It doesn't matter now. Everyone is safe.
Ria took a deep breath; the issue was dropped for now. She approached the counter when it was her turn and ordered her warm beverage and then waited for the redhead to do the same. Everly curled up her nose as she sauntered toward her, drink and bag in hand.
"Who drinks hot chocolate in June? In New Mexico? Serial killers, that's who."
Ria snorted and turned up her eyes.
"It's a year-round beverage so you can kiss my ass. I don't judge you when you come running like a basic bitch when pumpkin spice is on the menu."
"Touche," the redhead replied, grinning.
The two walked back to Evelyn's Taurus and then left the plaza turning right on Wyoming Boulevard toward Central Avenue. Ria stared out the window watching the scenery go by as she the lyrics to 'Blurry' following along with the radio. Her apartment was only 16 minutes away, but she was more than eager to get home.
Passing 'Chocolate Cartel' on Juan Tabo Bulavard, Evelyn turned down the radio.
"Do you see that van a car back?"
Ria raised a curious brow and glanced over her shoulder through the back window. It was a good distance back, but there was a van with faded red and orange body paint; it seemed familiar but she didn't know how.
"What about it?"
"I think it might be following us. It left the plaza when we did and turned with us on Wyoming," Evelyn explained.
Ria snorted and rested her back in the seat.
"Scorned lover perhaps?"
"As if," the redhead stated with a grin. "I'm a wonderful lover and every man or woman I've broken up with walked away on mutual terms."
Ria laughed. The humorous part about this was she knew Evelyn was telling the truth. She didn't have it in her to hurt a person but she also would end a sour relationship in a heartbeat if she wasn't happy.
"So then it's a coincidence."
"Or perhaps they are after you. Jimmy could have made someone mad and now they are stalking you," Evelyn mentioned.
She didn't even consider this as an option. However, the strange events that transpired between them 2 nights ago came to mind and Ria frowned. Her brother said the family was in danger, but she never thought to ask how he knew. Perhaps the person who threatened them told him and she insisted that he call the police.
They'd never know it was me who told him to do it.
And Jimmy would never give out her name if threatened. Or would he?
Peeking back around the seat to the back window she watched the van continue to follow them. When they turned right on Central Boulevard, the van thankfully continued straight on Southern. Ria sighed in relief. She narrowed her eyes and turned them to Evelyn.
"You had me worried. I thought someone was about to follow me home."
The redhead laughed.
"It's probably nothing."
Ria hoped so.
--
The sound of glass breaking woke Ria, urging her to open her tired eyes and glance frantically around the room. The walls were painted in flashing hues of white and black almost like someone turned a strobe light on. Her heart pounded in her chest as she tried to make heads and tails of the situation. What was going on? It wasn't until she noticed that she had fallen asleep while watching the 1999 version of 'House on Haunted Hill' did she put two and two together.
For fuck's sake.
Ria took an uneasy breath and sat up. The scene in question was the one where Stephen Price played by Geoffrey Rush was locked in the Saturation Chamber. For a moment she knew what it was like to be in his shoes. Locating her DVD remote, she paused the movie and got out of bed, walking into the kitchen for a drink.
I need to stop watching horror movies before bed.
Drinking from a water bottle she had in her fridge, Ria glanced through the transom window into the living room at the neon sun and moon clock on the far wall; it was 3 in the morning. She groaned knowing that she should be in bed and sauntered back toward her bedroom until she noticed a picture frame on the floor beside her dining room table. The glass was broken into pieces and the picture was sticking out.
How did that happen?
The nail was still in the wall, but it wasn't uncommon for pictures to just fall without warning. It must have been the sound that woke her. With a groan, Ria went back into her kitchen and retrieved a broom and dustpan; her bare feet smacked across the dark hardwood floor as she hurried from one area to the next. Picking up the broken frame she stared at the picture; an image of her and Jimmy in 1997 when he passed the bar and became a lawyer.
Ria and Benjamin drove down from Cicero to celebrate with him. She remembered that day; it was a better time.
Look at me. Slap silly happy.
She sat the frame down on the table with a sad sigh and began to sweep up the mess. Her thoughts were so occupied with the past that she didn't even hear the faint click of the latch as the front door closed the remainder of the way, or notice the shadow that passed by her living room window.

Might as well post my current Elder Scrolls character here. Her name is Elaenys Warhaft, adopted daughter and ward of Talin Warhaft, as well as fiancé to the late Ria Silmane.
The plan is to play through all the mainline Elder Scrolls games with her (while also trying to think of headcanons/lore that could justify her being the main character in each game)

Childhood asks for Mila and Ria: 1, 6, 8, 16
Ask list here
1. What was your muse's personality like as a kid? How has it changed since then?
Ria, as a kid was more reserved, quiet and not really socially engaging owing to everyone just pitying her, and she didn't really have a lot of friends to explore what she really likes. Things started changing for her after she moved to Berry High, when she started having real friends and she was more comfortable, open and does not hesitate to speak her mind.
Mila was a fire brand as a kid. She wouldn't hesitate to punch someone on the nose if they were bothering her or her friends (To hell with consequences). She is still like that but she picks her battles much more wisely than when she was a kid.
6. Did your muse have a best friend? Friends? Who did they hang out with as a kid? Are they still friends?
In middle school, Ria had a friend, Megan. Ria thought she was one of the people whom she could be herself, until she found out that Megan was only close to her as she was cancer girl and broke off ties with her. After that, when Ria moved away to Cedar Cove, she never bothered to find out what happened to Megan.
Mila did have a couple of friends in primary and middle school, but Rory had been her best friend since she was 5, and their friendship continues till date. A lot of her other middle school friends went either to Hearst or Statton, but Mila still maintains contact with them and they still meet from time to time.
8. What did your muse do in their free time? How did they entertain themself as a kid?
Since Ria was confined to indoors most of the time, she found her solace in music and the piano. Also, she loved to read a lot, and she was reading pretty advanced books for her age as well. Other than that, she liked being around animals too. The hospital she used to go to would have a separate ward for emotional support animals, and that's where her love for hamsters come.
Mila's favorite pass time as a kid would be to go to Rory's house and play pretend, or to bake with him and Mrs Silva. Also, she liked to binge watch all the disney movies, or if it was a nice day outside, she would play basketball with Carlos.
16. If your muse could say one thing to their childhood self, what would they say? Would your muse want to meet their childhood self in the first place?
Ria would really not like to think back on what happened in her past, but if she had the chance to meet her childhood self, She would give her a huge hug, and tell her that everything was going to be alright, just hang in there.
Mila honestly would not know what to say to her childhood self if she met her. In fact, her child self would say that you are so embarrassing to be around and would walk away from her.

[ad_1] Manu Bhaker with Jaspal Rana (PC: Manu Bhaker/X) The 100-day break prescribed by Dronacharya Jaspal Rana for Manu Bhaker, Paris Olympics star, is over. It will be back to the grind from this week in Dehradun at his own ranges. “A long break was needed, and, at the same time, I had asked Manu to keep working on her fitness,” Rana told RevSportz on Wednesday. “She has been doing the fitness routines and we are looking forward to starting from scratch all over again.” To be away from the shooting ranges for over three months was something Manu enjoyed. She was able to take her Masters exams in Public Administration from Chandigarh, and is looking forward to returning to shooting. “I am happy she could pursue her dream of higher education,” said Rana. “It is important to pursue your dreams. Now begins the grind all over again. Manu has to forget she won two medals in Paris and finished fourth in the sports-pistol event. All that is past, looking ahead, she has to again train the same hard way, and there will be no short cuts.” He has been in constant touch with his favourite ward, even as he mentors a few more shooters in the trap discipline, including Ria Rajeshwari Kumari and Kynan Chenai. Rana is also helping out a few more juniors, but the focus will be back on Manu. “The first thing will be to get her shooting muscle memory back and then build on it,” he said. “The initial plan was she shoots at least 100 rounds each week even during the break period, but that did not happen regularly. She did come to the Siri Fort ranges in New Delhi last month and is eager to come back.” Probed further on why Manu will get so special treatment after such highs this year, Rana was frank. “What she did and achieved is past,” he said. “Reputation alone will not take you forward. Hard work has to go in again, and there is no hurry at all. We are not targeting that she shoots in competitions before 2025, so she will have ample time to train and work on her technique.” For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Manu Bhaker talking with Jaspal Rana (PC: Manu Bhaker/X) The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) will be holding the Nationals in New Delhi at the Karni Singh ranges in December. Manu will not be part of that. As in the past, when Manu reached out to Rana in May 2023 so that he could again train her, the two will look to put in hard hours in Dehradun. “The kind of form Manu was in during this summer and the Olympic selection trials, she needs to get there again,” said Rana. “The approach has to be systematic, with consistent hard work and focus. The way she shot in Bhopal in the final trial and sealed her participation in three events at the Paris Olympics, that was good. At the same time, some of the other shooters had not peaked in Bhopal.” He felt that when Manu returns to competition, few other shooters would be in a good rhythm. “If she starts shooting competitions in 2025 and is again part of the regular trials conducted by the federation, she will get into her rhythm,” he said. “People are talking of the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles for Manu. No, she first has to peak for the Asian Games in Nagoya in 2026. That will again be through trials and competitions to judge which shooters are in top form. There are absolutely no short cuts ahead, I am clear about that. Yes, it is exciting Manu will be back at the ranges, because she loves the sport.” Is there a possibility that more shooters will be wanting to have a go at Manu in competitions and trials? “Of course, there are plenty of pistol shooters who are already training,” said Rana. “They will want to do well, so my plan is that Manu is ready to face stiff competition from January 2025. I repeat, no short cuts.” Also Read: Jeddah to host 2025 IPL mega auction on November 24 and 25 The post Coach Jaspal Rana says no short cuts as Manu Bhaker resumes training appeared first on Sports News Portal | Latest Sports Articles | Revsports.
