Brandy nodded slightly, not feeling particularly proud of himself today but more importantly not disagreeable.

"Not that I have an extensive dating history, but I think you'd be surprised at other people's tolerance threshold for that sort of thing, sweet Ria..."

With plump lips, Brandy gently took the bit of churro from her fingers to his mouth like a handsome and well-mannered steed, chewing without so much as a squishing sound.

"Truly, your patience with me is... Well, it's a gift, my darling. You'd be considered BLESSED in any creed, I should think..." After checking his face for cinnamon-sugar and finding none (well, not none, because CHURROS, but too insignificant an amount to fuss over), Brandy leaned over and kissed the songstress on her cheek and continued to hold it there for at least a good five seconds long.

After chewing the overly chewy, raspberry jelly filled dough, she wiped cinnamon sugar from her mouth and shook her head. "You did great. I'm proud of you." Ria said to him with kind eyes, hand lifting up to brush a little bit through his hair.

"Of course I put up with you, that's what girlfriends are meant to do." she would have her bright eyes gaze at him, dark hair gently falling in her face but she ripped off a small piece of the churro in her hand and placed it up to his lips. "Eat, we can eat this and get something bigger on the way back to my place."

Like pizza... or chicken fingers. Or hell, maybe they could even go on a bigger date to just continue their time together. Ahh, love.

The Fall of Radiance

Summery: The Fall of Radiant Garden, from the perspective of Ria the Songstress.

Ria was making her way home from school. She walked alongside her cousin. He was talking about this one student who seemed to have viewed him as some kind of rival. Well, Isa did get what he wanted. Wonder if he knew that her cousin wasn’t all that interested in working under Ansem.

The streets were as lively as ever. Yet, at the same time something felt amiss. She wasn’t sure what it was. Just that something terrible was just about to happen, as unlikely as that sounded.

“Were you planning of meeting that Xehanort guy tonight?” He asked her. She stopped in her tracks. What was this feeling. It was as if some invisable hand grabbed at her heart. “Yes. At least that is what I’m hoping.” Her cousin stopped too before turning to her. “You hope.” Ria nodded, “Sometimes something would come up. I think Ansem would give him some kind of task at the last moment sometimes. He doesn’t really talk about it.”

He nodded, “So, what do you think of him? That Xehanort?” He asked. “He seems nice. Kinda sucks he lost his memories.” She let out a sigh, “I do wonder though, what happened.”

“You okay?” He asked. He noticed she seemed a bit off. “It’s nothing. Just, a weird feeling I guess.” Ria said before she kept on walking. Soon enough there were screams. These... dark creatures running around the streets  attacking people. Without another word the two of them ran. The two of them would eventually become separated.

Ria would see Xehanort. Walking calmly among the panicked crowds. His expression seemed blank. Ria would run on to him. Calling his name. “Hey! Xehanort! We have to leave! The town is dangerous.” When she became close enough he lifted his... sword? Some weird shaped blade. He’d thrust it towards her chest.

Without anticipating the attack Ria is stunned. She couldn’t avoid it. It hurt. It hurt a lot. With that pain was a weird feeling. A painful feeling spreading though her body. The pain turning to some kind of numbness. Is she going to die?

Xehanort pulled the blade from her chest. Some kind of dark smoke seeping from the wound. At least it looks like some kind of smoke. Xehanort looked annoyed. “Ah, the one who wanted to fix me. Not the only one.” He muttered as she fell. Landing on her back was staring up at the sky. Storm clouds hung overhead. It would begin to rain.

Then everything went dark. A shining light floating upward. It was warm. But soon enough it was gone.

Ria woke up in an unfamiliar place. The room was completely white. Where was she? She sat up and looked around. There were some odd creatures around her. But unlike those dark creatures all of these didn’t seem hostile. In fact they all seem as confused as she is.

Something was feeling wrong. Looking at her hands she noticed something seemed off. Her skin seemed to have no color. She managed to get up on her feet. She felt unsteady. She noticed a mirror not too far off.

Slowly she make her way towards it. Walking unsteadily. When she reached it she’d see her reflection. An odd outfit. Pants that were mostly purple that faded to pink. Some kid of black shirt that didn’t seem to cover much of her colorless skin.

Then there was her face. It looked normal aside from the lack of color and the glowing yellow eyes. It was weird seeing her emotionless face staring back at her. She noticed some of these creatures looked a bit like her. As if she were one of them. Seeing an unadended hat she’d put it on before turning back to the mirror and seeing she was no different.

Soon enough she’d see a few men walk into the room. Both wore black coats. One looked like Xehanort.. the other... Braig? “It’s going smoothly.” Xehanort commented as the two of them talked past. “It is a good start. We already have eight.” Then they were gone.

A Bad Turn - Part II - Ria’s Bad Turn

“Please just stop my mind.”

After a decade of being a nobody Ria has a hard time being a normal human again. More of having a fully functional mind than being able to feel.

Not only that but she also developed a form of PTSD. Partly due to the fall, and being attacked by Xehanort who he liked at the time. But also with the abuse she faced as being a dancer. Then her eventual defeat to the keyblade wielder.

She turned to drink as a way to not think of things she feels best left forgotten. Since she is wasted most of the time she wouldn’t become a singer. Instead her mother still is the one singing at the bar her father owns. In fact Ria wouldn’t return home but to get an apartment.

Any money she’d get is either from whatever she can steal from people, or from pole dancing. She is annoyed to see Xemnas end up doing the same thing. But she doesn’t bother with him and he doesn’t bother with her.

During off like she’d also take to skateboarding. She’d try any kind of thrill-seeking activity. Anything that is exciting she’ll try.

With the option for drugs she doesn’t really bother. Though she did try cocaine once.

Xemnas actually doesn’t even recognize Ria.

Ria: Before the Fall

Before the fall of Radiant Garden Ria had been attending college. Mostly classes which would hold her to take over the family business. But also various music and vocal classes to help improve her singing. When she was in school she’d been a member of a school chorus.

She’d try to tutor her cousin when his school work. But the tutor sessions ended up being him helping her with her school work. Though they do manage to help each other on subjects the other doesn’t understand.

Outside of singing Ria does have a general knowledge on other instruments. Out of all of them she does best with the piano.

During this time she didn’t really work at a performer at the bar. Instead that roll went to her mother. Like Ria later would wear sparkling dresses. But usually those dresses were usually red.

She’d see Xehanort a few times she happens to be near the castle. If able to she’d try to spend a bit of time with him.

During this time she was usually in a school uniform. Which includes a blue skirt and blazer with a white button shirt.

Ria the Dancer

During the fall of Radiant Garden Ria would lose her heart. She’d would also become a nobody.

She wasn’t quite strong enough to keep a human form but among other dancers she did stand out. Not like anyone would have noticed.

The human like features she manage to keep was her face though all but her mouth would have been covered anyway.

The other way she stands out is the color of her clothing were more purple toned than pink.

She sometimes can he heard singing. But it is more like humming than actually singing. She isn’t completely able to speak. She could be heard singing songs with simple lyrics sometimes. Or she tries to sing, but the words are more gibberish while some words can be clearly heard. Her favorite song to sing is Heartbeat, Heartbreak.

She managed to train a few other nobodies to play instruments so she could put on performances for fellow lessers. Those that she trained would later become her band after they regain their original forms later on.

The one playing guitar is another dancer. An assassin on base. A dragoon on drums.

Rarely she is able to shift to a human form. But since she’d still be dressed as a dancer that shift can be hard to notice. The shift doesn’t really last long either.

She would become a close friend with a sorcerer.

She can be seen drawing occasionally.

She’ll sometimes drink coffee. But more often she is making it for other people. More often she is the one to deliver coffee to members of the Organization.

Had been seen staring at either Demyx or Xemnas on occasion. While she’d avoid Vexen, which causes other dancers to avoid him at well as a lot of them who sees her as a leader figure.
