alas, after spending almost the whole month in mexico, we were finally heading back to the US today. but of course, in between all the bus rides and plane flights, i spent the whole time buried into my phone grinding out more master scores, including Master FC #4 on Roki!!! (somehow got past that one big trill)

and then, since project sekai just so happens to be an Online-Only rhythm game, i had to switch to something else once i boarded the plane to pass the time... and that something else is ARCAEA

i wasn't expecting too much (even though i got this sick EX+ on ReviXy), but then after giving it a few shots... i got my VERY FIRST 9 PM!!! CHRONOSTASIS FTR-9 MAX-42!!!!!

Oh if it wasn't the universe challenging Hari "Chronostasis" Kurono's patience today. First he had to deal with Kai's bullshit, Rappa's shenanigans, and everyone around him seems to love failing their tasks and doubles his works... It was honestly so draining for him.

He sat on the bed he shared with you, whilst you were occupied by your phone. He can feel his head heat up with irritation as the buttons on your phone loudly reverberated on a patterned rhythm and he can only assume you were texting someone. Hari could feel his temple pulsed with a migraine and he couldn't do anything about it. He tossed his mask to the side with a sigh, when you suddenly exclaimed like a loud fuse that irritated him.

"Oh my God, stop!" It initially shocked Hari, knowing he did nothing wrong to make you this irritated at him, but he was having none of it.

"What?! I didn't to shit—" Hari retorts, raising his voice higher than yours as he held his arms defensively in the air while you glared at him.

"Stop being so goddamn hot and cute at the same time! You're making me want to kiss you in your stupid handsome face because I love you so fricking much!" You pouted at him, arms crossed. "Give me a kiss you dummy!"

He simply sighs once more, pulling you by your collar and pressed his lips against you with firm dominance, before pulling away with a smile he struggled to hide. "... I hate you."

"I know. I love you, too~"

I. It’s Groundhog Spinto

What it does: Something has gone wrong during battle or not according to plan. You can simply retry the event this time with more success. The Deja vu effect of it will have your enemies frazzled and disoriented, easy targets.

Meaning of name: Groundhog Day - movie starring Bill Murray where he relives the same day over and over againSpinto - Literally “pushed”

II. Syncopated Crack

What it does: You can flicker your enemy in and out of Time’s existance but you can’t completely erase them. However what you can do is between flickers shove a blade/weapon or your hand inside them. When they flicker back into existance the internal damage has been done.

Meaning of name: Syncopate - displace the beats or accents in (music or a rhythm) so that strong beats become weak and vice versaCrack - reference to Doctor Who’s cracks in time

III. Skipping Moto

What it does: With a powerful hit you can scatter up to 3 opponents through time while it’s your round. ‘Punch’ them into the far future or the past, with this motion you’re able to follow them, and strike at them again. This move is powerful, even the act of sending through time give them damage, and you can always hop back to your time.

Meaning of name: Skip - an act of passing over part of a sequencemoto - Motion

Solo Fraymotifs for a Thief of Time (Most other classes could use these aswell)

I. Double Tap

What it does: After an attack the player immediately gets another extra attack thus striking two times in a row.

Meaning of name:  Tap-dance with rapid movements and rhythms

II. Restez Chronostasis

What it does: Freezes time for the enemy for two rounds, every hit dealt to the target also heals 10% of the player’s health.

Meaning of name: Chronostasis-time illusion, ‘stopped-clock illusion' our eyes perceive something staying longer in one place than it actually does e.g. clock hand. Restez-remain/staying on one note for a longer time.

III. Rippling Allegretto

What it does: A wave of attacks made by future versions of the time player. Every attack deals 10% more damage than the last one.

Meaning of name: Ripple-a series of waves; Allegretto-moderately fast
