Digimon for Beybladers

I used a quiz i found (https://www.quotev.com/quiz/15588026/What-Digimon-is-your-partner) to see which Digimon Gingka, Kyoya, Kenta, Tsubasa, and Ryuga would get. The test only gives you one digimon regardless of level, but I tried to add some of the evolutions according to vibes. I skipped a couple of levels for some of them, cause most of them get the Starfragments, which I feel like would be a warp-digivolution?

In Summary: Gingka got Bulucomon, Kyoya got Bancholeomon, Kenta got Labramon, Tsubasa got Aegiomon, and Ryuga got Impmon X. Below the cut I have visuals of all of these, plus their evolution lines and my own thoughts on the digimon, plus what I would have picked for them if I actually chose the digimon instead of leaving it up to the test. This is all super rushed and doesn't look super pretty haha.

Here's Gingka:

I Like the aesthetics of this one, but I don't know anything about these digimon. I think the colors and over-all shapes match Ginkga, but I think I would have chosen either Pegasusmon or some other star/storm themed Digimon.

Kyoya:

I thought it was super funny I got a Leomon for Kyoya, and even funnier I got the extra rare never-beaten-in-a-battle Unbreakable-Spirit Leomon. I didn't like any of the evolution lines that I could find for BanchoLeomon, but I feel like Kyoya would be the guy with a Mega Digimon. I would have to look at other Leomons, or even Wind-Type Digimon, but I actually really like this pairing! the only con In my opinion is the lack of evolutions that fit.

Kenta:

Ooooh i hated this one :) Labramon is fine for Kenta, I guess, but the main evolution line for Labramon is Dobermon to Cerberusmon, and those are not Kenta's type of Digimon. So I was able to find Seasarmon, and I guess when Kenta gets Ryuga's star fragment Labramon would leap to Ancientsphinxmon. I definitely don't think Labramon fits Kenta, but I would have to find either a centaur, an Archer, or some other fiery/claw digimon for him.

Tsubasa:

THIS ONE IS SO FUNNY. Like, what do you mean Mr. I-Adopted-Yu-and-am-headcanoned-as-an-older-brother Tsubasa got a whole child as a digimon? and when that child "grows up" it becomes Horned Tsubasa? Makes Tsubasa's arc of being possessed by Darkness really interesting (which is why the Dark one is here haha)(also these are so blurry but it's hard to find good digimon pics that aren't fanart) I really love the look of this team, but I feel very weird about having a whole child as a Digimon. Maybe something similar to Hawkmon for Tsubasa? I don't know.

And Finally, Ryuga:

Idk why his background is brighter than the rest. But I got Impmon X, which is really interesting! So I gave him Baalmon X just because in my mind I connect Impmon-Wizardmon-Baalmon in an evolution line, and Ryuga already has a super unique bey. If I had chosen his Digimon instead of leaving it to a personality quiz, I definitely would have given Ryuga something more Dragon-y.

I don't have a huge list of digimon off the top of my head, but I think I might definitely go through and find better suited Digimon for my bladers haha.

The difference between Raine's rhapsody and Eda's requiem.

When Raine plays the song it's a rhapsody - an outpouring of emotion through song, based in fantasia and romantic ideology.

When Eda joins in it becomes a requiem - a song of remembrance for the dead.

In Raine's rhaspody they play a love song for a love that they knows is till alive inside of them, Eda's is a requiem because it's a memory of a love lost because Raine broke up with her - she doesn't know that they are still in love with her and the song is honouring current love not past love.

Thats why though it's the same song it is called Raine's rhapsody when they play and when Eda plays it is a requiem - because it's the characters views of what the song is.

Again, they are perfect!

When Lawrence says the first part, the man looks at him shocked, almost like he had seen a ghost.

He sighs a bit, trying to calm himself, trying to think of this as a joke.

The man gets surprised by Lawrence suddenly taking his hand to shake it, as he was probably not expecting so. But, after understanding what just happened, he laughs a bit, shaking the other man's hand as well.

~ଘ•ᴗ•) > "A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Cotas! My name is Pietro Cortesi, a surgeon!...And ah! You are too kind! Thank you!"

He says, smilling a bit upon hearing the compliment.

A tall man approaches Lawrence from behind, touching his shoulder gently, with a quite worried look in his face.

~ଘ´•_•`) > "Hi, hello!...Uhm, sorry to be any bother and i know we have never met before, but-...Uhm, could you...Accompany me to the kitchen?...I know it sounds weird but i heard some stuff has been happening in here, and i don't want to go alone-..."

He says, stumbling in his own words and holding his hands together nervously.

The gambler, who was distracted with his own thoughts, flinched at the touch before turning around. He stood there confused as to why this person wouldn't ask one of the multiple puppets Phineas insisted on having around . . . Maybe they were too unsettling. Whatever it was didn't matter, he mentally slapped himself back into reality to answer.

"Oh, Sure! I don't blame you for needing to walk in company...The mannor isn't at its best safe point at the moment-" he nervously added. "Come with me, sir!~" [Keeping this silly fella to myself/j]

Okay so Uhura’s song slapped, our little songbird flew in this episode.

I’m Ready has a bopping beat and is a smashing song but, and no shame to Jess Bush, her voice didn’t fit the vibe of the song.

Jim and Una dancing was so funny, the funny little beans. (Waiting for when we are getting a Jim trauma dump episode, maybe after he and Carol split?)

I love that Spock is favourable with the Klingons because of ability to down bloodwine.

Overall loved this episode, it was cringe but fun. Excited what the season 2 finale will be.
