You have always admired Wally Darling. He was your boss, your mentor, and your friend. He was also the most brilliant scientist you have ever met. He had a vision of creating a new color, a color that would revolutionize the world of art and science. He had dedicated his life to this project, working tirelessly in the Rainbow Factory.

The Rainbow Factory was a secret facility hidden in yhe groaned, where people were captured and turned into rainbows. The rainbows were then used as raw materials for Wally's experiments. You knew it was wrong, you knew it was cruel, but you also knew it was necessary. Wally had explained to you that there was no other way to achieve his goal. He had tried everything else, but nothing worked. He needed the rainbows, he needed the colors.

You were his assistant, his right hand, his confidant. You helped him with his research, his calculations, his tests. You also helped him with his personal problems, his emotions, his pain. You respected him, you trusted him, you cared for him.

But you did not love him.

Not yet.

That changed on the day of the accident.

It was supposed to be a routine test. Wally had created a new color by mixing different types of rainbows, and he wanted to see how it would react with other substances. He had asked you to assist him in the lab, as usual.

You followed him to the lab, wearing your protective gear and carrying your equipment. You entered the lab and saw a large glass container filled with a swirling liquid that glowed with an indescribable hue. It was beautiful, mesmerizing, hypnotic.

Wally smiled at you and gestured to the container.

"Behold, my dear assistant," he said proudly. "This is my masterpiece. This is the new color."

You gasped in awe and admiration.

"It's amazing, Wally," you said sincerely. "How did you do it?"

He chuckled and winked at you.

"That's my little secret," he said playfully. "But I'll tell you this much: it took me years of hard work and countless failures to achieve this result. And it was all worth it."

He walked over to a control panel and pressed some buttons.

"Now, let's see how it behaves with other elements," he said excitedly. "I have prepared some samples of different materials here: metal, wood, plastic, paper, etc. I'm going to inject them into the container and observe the reactions."

He picked up a syringe filled with a metal solution and inserted it into a small hole in the container.

"Ready?" he asked you.

You nodded and moved closer to him.

"Ready," you said.

He pushed the plunger and released the metal solution into the container.

Nothing happened at first.

Then, suddenly, there was a loud bang.

The container exploded.

Glass shards flew everywhere.

The liquid splashed all over the lab.

You screamed and ducked behind a table.

Wally shouted and fell to the floor.

You looked up and saw him lying on his back, clutching his right arm.

His arm was gone.

Blood spurted from the stump where his arm used to be.

He looked at you with pain and fear in his eyes.

"Help me," he whispered.

You felt a surge of panic and adrenaline.

You ran to him and grabbed a towel from a nearby rack.

You wrapped it around his wound and applied pressure.

You tried to stop the bleeding.

You tried to save him.

You tried not to cry.

"Stay with me, Wally," you said urgently. "Stay with me."

He groaned and squeezed your hand.

"I'm sorry," he said weakly. "I'm so sorry."

You shook your head and fought back tears.

"Don't be sorry," you said softly. "It's not your fault."

"It is," he said bitterly. "It's all my fault."

He coughed and spat blood.

"I messed up," he said hoarsely. "I messed up everything."

"No, you didn't," you said firmly. "You're amazing, Wally. You're brilliant."

He smiled faintly and looked at you with gratitude and affection.

"You're amazing too," he said sincerely. "You're wonderful."

He paused and took a deep breath.

"You're beautiful," he said softly.

You felt a blush rise to your cheeks.

You felt a warmth in your chest.

You felt a flutter in your stomach.

You felt something you had never felt before.

You felt love.

You looked into his eyes and saw love.

You leaned down and kissed him.

He kissed you back.

You kissed him with passion and tenderness.

You kissed him with fear and hope.

You kissed him with everything you had.

You kissed him like it was the last time.

It wasn't.

Scenario

Child reader: *goes to Rf Wally’s office* “hey papa guess what!”

Rf Wally: *drinking coffee* “what is it?”

Child reader: “I pushed someone in the grinder!”

Rf Wally:*Spits out his coffee after hearing that* “What!?”

Walden was checking his papers when he heard a slight creak of his door being opened, looking up from the papers he saw a small figure walking towards him with a smile on their face. The tiny figure walked around his desk to where he was sitting before tugging at his pants. "Papa! papa! guess what! guess what!" The child spoke with such excitement in their voice reminding him of someone he use to know, Walden hummed before taking a sip of his coffee "whats up kiddo?" he asked. The child slightly bounced in their place before cheerfully speaking "I pushed someone into the grinder!" Those few words were enough to cause the man to choke on his coffee -- clearing his throat he looked down at the kid. "Pardon? what? why? and how?!" The kid just smiled before telling their story, explaining how the employee was being rude and making fun of them, and how they got fed up with the person and thought that since the person wasn't important they could just turn them into new colors! Walden sighed before picking the kid up and placing them on his lap "any other parent would be traumatized, but I guess raising a kid in this place makes them a bit different, just ask me next time got it kid?" The child just giggled and nodded, grabbing a spare piece of paper and some crayons before drawing to their hearts content.

but then after you apologize, He's all stoic and cold again.

His language of love is acts of service or words of affection but that is rarer than often.

Sometimes you guys do have some serious/deep talks or (rarer) playful talks and actions.

Even though it is hard to see if Walden does really care for you or not, but he does really.

Do you see anyone talking to you now that you're with Walden? No? Talk to Walden!

Basically, threatens the other workers in the coldest and most stoic way to not talk or look at you in a foolish/lustful way.

When he has the time, Walden makes to visit you and ask how you're doing and stuff and....maybe give you a kiss on the cheek or a pat on the shoulder.

I don't see Walden the type to be affection but I'm not saying he never does it. It's just rare.

Overall, Walden is very protective, talkative around you, and VERY manipulative. You think you can handle?

Working in the factory was draining, physically and mentally, especially since you got promoted to head assistant, now you had almost twice the workload and twice the migraine having to deal with your boss.

You had been working in this factory practically all your life, working hard since day one, you of all people of course deserved this promotion, right? Right, that's what you'd think, but it felt like a punishment. Your boss constantly took his anger out on you, you didn't have a single moment away from him and his constant tasks he put on you.

And the constant time you had to spend with him all day everyday did not help your crippling crush on him, seriously, who couldn't crush over him??? He was muscular, his hair was beautiful, his voice was so deep and smooth and it made your knees want to buckle each time he spoke to you, and his hands oh my god don't get me started on his hands- "What?" A deep voice spoke up, you shook your head from your thoughts, turning red as you realized you were staring directly at your bosses chest "yes sir?" You asked, hoping he didn't notice "You were staring at me, what do you want." He asked, looking over his glasses as he sat at his desk in front of yours, having been reviewing papers for something important.

Your face seemed to turn more red by the second, he took his glasses off before pinching the bridge of his nose. "Are you gonna answer me or are you going to sit there with your mouth open?" He said, he was clearly tired, both of you having to stay late after sending everyone home. "I- well- no sir..I don't need anything my apologies." You answered, not wanting to embarrass yourself more.

After working in silence for a moment longer, a loud sound broke the silence, a loud bang coming from outside of the office. Both you and Wally lifted your heads immediately, looking to the door, he groaned before getting up "I'll be right back." He said before walking out of the office door, you got up following silently, curious as to what the sound was.

You watched him approach the door on the side of the reception room, covered in dust and the doors label scratched off. You watched him open the door and take a step in, assuming he was gonna walk in you started to follow after him, not realizing he had stopped moving already you stumbled into him. Moments later all you could hear was his breathing, you couldn't see anything, the darkness of what was now clearly a semi-long closet encasing both of you like a blanket. You didn't even notice how you were practically laying on his back, you just felt how warm he was, his heavy breathing, how firm and soft his back felt, then you noticed how you were practically pinning him to the floor.

Your face red as you tried your best to crawl off of him without elbowing him or making things worse, "I- Boss I'm so sorry!" You mumbled out, pressing on his lower back for leverage getting up before you heard a pop and the man under you groaning, you stilled, not knowing what to do or if you just broke your bosses back, you really didn't wanna get fired after all you've done for him. "Do that again" he said in a muffled voice, you almost didn't hear him, but you had to make sure you heard him right "what did you say?" He was quiet for a moment before lifting his face to grumble out "Do. That. Again." He said, face completely red.

You were in the closet, straddling the back of your bosses waist on your knees, and he was asking you to basically massage his back, could today get any better?

You once again pressed on his back "No not like that, harder" so once again, you pressed on his lower back with your palms, this time pressing your weight on him, and once again you heard a crackle then a pop and a sigh of relief coming from the man under you. "Okay now get off of me before I give you unpaid suspension for two months" he growled out, you scoffed, annoyed he didn't even thank you, I mean it was an accident at first but he could've been appreciative just a little. But you obliged and shuffled off of him, sitting on your knees in front of the door not being able to get up with him still on the floor in your way.

He stood up, standing above you now. His hand reached your head, palming your scalp "Move. I can't reach the doorknob behind your giant head" you groaned, trying to get up but failing so before thinking you grabbed onto his waist to use as leverage to get up.

Both of you stilled as you realized what you had done, "soooo......" you had started, a complete nervous wreck at this point "The doorknob right?" But you were met with silence, you couldn't see his face in the darkness of the closet and you were terrified he was furious with you now.

But what came next is something that you'd think would only happen in your wildest dreams, he slammed you against the closet door, smashing his lips onto yours in the process. Your eyes widened as both of his hands held your waist, pulling you closer to him, a muffled gasp escaped your mouth before you melted into his surprisingly gentle kiss. Closing your eyes you leaned into him, slipping your arms under his and pressing your hands on his back, pulling him closer to you.

Both of you making a mess of a closet as he slid you from the door to the wall, kissing your lips before pulling away, a string of drool connecting your lips to his before you felt it being wiped away. You opened your eyes realizing he had opened the closet door and was already heading for his office, you wanted to stop him, to ask him what this means for you two, but you didn't.

"I'll pick you up at 6 PM sharp tomorrow night, don't be late, now go home and get some rest. I'll finish up here" he said before entering his office, locking it behind him so you couldn't go in and continue to work.

Your heart fluttered and you touched your lips with the tips of your fingers, questioning if anything was actually real, what just happened? Did you just score a date with your boss?? Yes. Yes!!

You left the closet, closing the door behind you and heading to the elevator to leave before realizing you left your keys in his office, actually, all of your belongings in his office.

You speed walked to his office, knocking on the door in hopes he'd open it "Sir I left my keys in there can I please come get them?" Silence. You knocked some more "Sir please I can't get home" You heard him start whistling as if he couldn't hear you at all. "BOSS PLEASE I NEED MY KEYS" You frowned, knocking on the door more aggressively now. All you got was a slight laugh in response.

P.S.A 📢: Do not glamorize nor romantize yanderes!!! It is ok to fantasize about them, but putting them on a pedestal is the last thing you would want to do since they're so harmful. They are walking red flags for a reason.

A- is for... Affection: How does he go about affection and how intense does it get?

Walden isn't an affectionate person by any means. Kind of the opposite. But I can see that he probably wouldn't mind being on the receiving end of it unless he's busy. Then he'll be annoyed. But hey, at least he isn't the type to force you to be affectionate with him and vice versa.

B- is for... Blood: How much blood is he willing to spill for you?

He doesn't mind it and is willing to spill as much blood as he needs to get the desired results. So here is your healthy reminder. Walden works in a murder facility. Hell, he even runs it. So seeing blood and getting involved with it won't phase him. He's desensitized by it. But on another note, there is a likely chance that he might put the offender to good use. Perhaps by turning them into palatable colors or a stepping stone the further the field of science….

C- is for... Cruelty: How does he treat you once they're in his grasp and does he mock you about the predicament you're in?

Look. Walden is many things, but an asshole isn't one of them. Intentionally speaking that is. So he wouldn't make fun of your.. circumstances. He's at least one of the more aware Wallys. So he knows what he's doing is very wrong and he isn't ignorant on the fact that you are not happy in the slightest about being trapped by him and with him. And he doesn't want to make you feel any worse than what you're already feeling by adding lemons to open wounds by mocking you. As for you being in his hold, he'll be firmer with you. But other than that you won't be treated any different than when you were free.

D- is for... Darling: Other than kidnapping, what else would he do against your will other than the former?

Nothing else really, since Walden already has you. Which is already enough. He isn't forceful of you when it comes to personal boundaries. He at least respects you on that front.

E- is for... Exposed: How much will he show his heart to you, how vulnerable will he get with you?

It is no secret to anyone who knows about Walden that this man has a family road trip full of baggage. With that baggage comes very tall and sturdy walls that box his heart. So to say the very least, he's not going to open up to you. It takes time for Walden to let down those walls. Even if you are within his grasp by force, his heart is still boxed up just by lesser but still very strong walls. But don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to break down those walls because as far as him abducting you goes all you will have is time to burn on your hands.

F- is for... Fight: What will he do if you fought back against him?

Walden won't be amused to put it lightly. He'll be irated. Since he doesn't tolerate disobedience in the slightest, especially the rebellious type. But he'll give you some lead way since again he's very much aware that what he's doing is messed up and you are with it your right to fight back. But once he's tired and reaches a certain point, that's when punishments come into play....

G- is for... Game: Is this a game to him? Does he enjoy watching you try and escape him?

No. I've already discussed in previous points that Walden doesn't fuck around, especially after a certain point when his tolerance has run thin. So you trying to escape does not bring him any pleasure. Besides, it's not like you can escape him anyway. Your chances of escape are very low since he has all your needed necessities under lock and key and the Factory is built like a fortress. So really it isn't fun for either of you.

H- is for... Hell: What was you worst moment with him?

The first major punishment you've received from him. Like I said before, once Walden is tired enough and he has no more grace to give he's going to stomp out that defiance right out of you. However, I'm not going to go into too much detail about how he did it since that is reserved for a later point and a potential later fic. Just know one word. Green.

I- is for... Ideals: What future does he want for the both of you.

Walden wants to be your spouse and you his once you're well adjusted and is more willing to sign a marriage certificate. Children are a gray area, especially with his past experiences of being a parent. But he hopes that one day it's as much of a possibility that won't fail just like the last ones. But for now, he's satisfied with having you with him. Besides, he knows that those ideals are very far-fetched in the future.

J- is for... Jealousy: Does he get jealous easily? If so how does he cope?

Listen. Walden isn't a jealous man. A controlling one yes. But a jealous one, no. He knows that he has a lot of traits that many people can appreciate and like. He's handsome, wealthy, and quite brilliant. The only way I can see him getting jealous is by being confronted by someone who is your type while he isn't, that's when he gets jealous. How he deals with that jealousy is usually the default answer. Which isolates you from that person if he hasn't taken you or if that doesn't work force the person that got him jealous in the first place into the large pile of bodies that rots underneath the Factory's working cogs.

K- is for... Kisses: How would he act around you?

Walden won't act to different from how he acted before the abduction. This only difference is that he's oddly more strict with you now that you're under his thumb care. Yet oddly enough, if you haven't been taken by him yet is still under his control he's somewhat more open and almost expressive with you. It's kinda strange and confusing.

L- is for... Love letters: How did he approach you? How did he go about wooing you?

The likely chance is that he met you when you were one of his workers since that's the default answer. But Walden was always cold and professional with you, that was until you began to melt his walls. Which caused him to warm up to you a bit more and cruise off a smoother and slightly more casual dynamic together. As far as wooing go. Once most of that professionalism is chucked into the grinder, he begins to show his interest in subtle ways. In only ways, he knew that you would understand. Like slipping you things he knows you'll enjoy, checking up on you a bit more than usual, etc.

M- is for... Mask: Is his true colors different from the one he shows to others?

Kind of, but not really in a way. His colors are just a bit brighter with you since he's more open with you. This very slightly contrasts with his dullness. But at the end of the day, he's still the cold but blunt Walden with you, he's just brighter with you because he's warmer to you.

N- is for... Naughty: What punishment would he dish out to you when you're acting out of line?

It depends on what offense you've committed. If it's something minor, then the penalty will be minor. Then again I did say that Walden will give you some leniency for a time. So even then he won't punish you often during that time. However, I also said before, that Walden won't take defiance well once he hits the wall. So after a certain point, he combats your defiance with more serious punishments other than taking away the things that keep you occupied. That punishment is, Biochemical warfare to be exact. Since he's a scientist and he's in charge of a secret government facility, finding something nasty to not only keep you more compliant but also knock you back into line won't be to hard. But on the fly chance you did something you can't come back from; like escaping and managing to avoid him for a long time, this can lead to a BAD ENDING all around.

O- if for.. Oppression: How many rights would he take from you?

Your financial freedom and will also dictate your social interacts, once you've earned your socializing privilege when you gain enough of his trust. Other than those two, nothing else.

P- is for... Patience: How much lead way does he give you.

More than what you'd expect from him given his short temper. But that's only for a limited amount of time. Because after the adjustment period, Walden's patience will be reduced by half from when he's taken you. That's if you've been defiant with him that is.

Q- is for... Quit: If you die, leave, or successfully escaped; What is he to do if that happens?

When Walden gets you, do understand he is hanging by a last strand. So if he were to lose you by any means, he's going to snap. And depending on if you are indeed still around and are not boxed up underground when Walden gets to you it won't be nice.

R- is for... Regret: Does he feel remorse for what he's done and would he ever set you free?

I would say yes, but then I thought about it… Yeah, no he's not sorry for what he's done. This Wally has already lost so much, so the minute the opportunity of him being selfish for change he'll take it. Because he's never felt feelings like this before of such magnitude; even with the little past experiences he's had, and once it fully sets in and he likes it… He's decided that he's not going to lose it. So even though he's very aware that what he's doing is messed up, he's gotten to the point were he doesn't care therefore he isn't sorry about what he did. As for setting you free, I've already established that he doesn't want to lose you at all. That includes from his grasp too. But what he would do however is once he trusts you and you're well adjusted in your new life, he'll give you some of your mobility back. But you'll still be on a leash though.

S- Is for... Stigma: What brought about this side from him? Was it his childhood, curiosity, or?

Walden's childhood did play a key part in his development as Yandere, as most of his traumatic and sad past has. But I'm going to say the leading causes of this were his damaged psyche and his track record of losing people he held near and dear to him.

T- is for... Tears: How would he feel about you screaming, crying, and/ or isolating yourself from him?

I don't think Walden would comfort you if you shout and weep about your predicament. He understands that what he's done isn't right in the slightest and is a pretty messed up thing to do. Walden also understands that he isn't the best person when it comes to comforting someone, and that's in a general sense once you take his yandere-ness out of the equation. On top of that, he's very much aware that he's the last person you would want to see during this time never mind seek comfort from. Even as a stoic person and he ultimately isn't remorseful for what he did, that doesn't stop him from feeling some level of sadness upon seeing you very upset. He also can't deny that a subconscious part of himself does not like the thought of causing you any distress and loathes it. So he does the best thing he can do. Leave you to your own devices ( albeit, still under his sharp eye though.. ) to process everything by yourself. Also as far as isolation goes, he wouldn't do anything about it. Sure he'll be annoyed and agitated by this choice sometimes, but he's not going to do anything. Since he knows that you'll come around eventually. Especially when it comes down to your needs being met.

U- is for... Unique: What makes him different from the standard Yandere?

Not much to be honest. The only thing I can think about is that there is a higher chance that Walden won't kidnap you because he has control over most of your assets. By that point he won't see the need to keep you under lock and key. So as long as he has a lot of control over you where you won't get froggy and leap away from him, than he won't fully commit to the kidnapping bit.

V- is for... Vice: What weaknesses you can use to your advantage to escape him?

Walden has very few weaknesses you can exploit to get away from. Especially since he's very powerful. The one weakness I can see you can use to get away from him is a child(ren). But that could work only if you coin it against him first and you know exactly how to do it.

W- is for... Wits end: Would he ever hurt you?

Besides, when it comes down to some of his forms of discipline, Walden won't intentionally. But the only exception to this is when he snaps and falls a BAD ( well really worse ) path, and then his intentions will shift to hurting you.

X- is for... Xoanon: Does he revere you, does he worship the ground you walk on? To what length would he go to win you over?

Walden isn't one of the Wallys that would worship you. But if there is any accomplishment(s) you are proud of, he'll celebrate it with you. Also, there are no lengths he wouldn't go to have you. It's no different from what he does for his job to get whatever results he wants. The only difference is the reasonings behind them. So if he has to pay for a certain thing that you always wanted he will gift it to you; no matter how expensive it is, he will do just that. He has to get rid of a pesky co-worker that won't just leave you be, then they will be given the sudden demotion to test subject. Really the lengths he would go to for you aren't super far off from what he typically does for work, it's just more personal if that makes sense.

Y- is for... Yearning: How long would he ache for you before he snaps?

A fairly long time. Since it would take a while for you to get close to Walden and it would take even longer for him to fall in love with you. I'll give it.. 4 years to be generous.

Z-is for... Zenith: Would he break you?

No. Well, kind of? He would.. crack you if that makes sense. Enough to keep you compliant yet still somewhat yourself.

Hello there lovely! This took forever and I am so sorry for that <3 I've just been quite the busy bee lately. So here's your man, I hope you enjoy.

Late Nights into Early Mornings: Warnings: None, just some nice fluff with trauma magnet RF!Wally

Darkness flitted into the room, the lamp on your nightstand could only do so much to fight off the tendrils of darkness from the room, and your eyes flickered to the clock next to the lamp. It was very late, later than he said it would be when he finished up. 3 am. You have to give him credit, if it weren’t for you seeking out his warmth in your sleep you would have never known, but now that you do you can’t simply leave things be. No, you're his wife and so the duty of dragging him to bed is yours.

A groan escaped your lips and you heaved yourself up from the lying position, one hand going to rub the sleep out of your eyes. Lifting the blankets that provided mouth watering warmth and comfort, your feet made contact with the floor. Which was freezing, making you shiver at the intense temperature difference. You could almost curse him for not being truthful tonight, you were exhausted and now here you were at 3 in the morning trekking to retrieve your husband. 

Your soft padding footsteps echoed throughout the hallway, your arms tucked to your chest to contain some of the heat from your bed. It was dark, the white glow of the moon shining through the large windows was your only source of light. Another thing you would have to scold him about, but not tonight. Or rather this morning, way later in the morning maybe. 

Eventually your sleep muddled brain reawakened itself to see that you were finally at his office door, lights shined through the crack between the door and its frame and you felt yourself deadpan. You could also hear the shuffling of papers and his breathing, and you sighed.

Not bothering to knock at this point, you shouldered the door open and looked at the culprit of this light night escapade. “Walden.” You sighed, voice thick with sleep and brilliant eyes muddled. 

The 6,11 man you called your husband jumped like a startled cat, wide eyes looking at your half lidded one with well hidden sheepishness “My love.” His own voice was affected by sleep as well, or the lack of it. 

“What do you think you're doing?” Your deadpan made itself well known as you started in open disapprovement. “You said you would wrap all this up 4 hours ago for god's sake.” Your hand reached up to lightly pinch at your nose bridge in exasperation.

Silence was all that answered you, he knew that nothing he could say would excuse this at all. 

“Mm.” you hummed, hand falling away and resting at your side. “Well, let’s go then.”

He nodded and stood from his chair, the grating sound of the chair dragging on the floor made you wince. But you held out your hand, and soon the warmth of his skin slid against your own as he gripped your hand in his vice grip. 

“I’m sorry.” He eventually stated as you two walked the halls to go back to your shared room. Your eyes flickered to look at him in your peripheral and you repressed a sigh. “It’s…alright.” You mumbled, leaning on his arm as you two walked side by side and hand in hand. “You can’t keep doing this though. You’ll crash sooner rather than later.” 

He knew you were right, I mean c’mon you are barely ever wrong when it comes to his limits. You knew him so well, it was a surprise you didn’t scold him like a child. “I know…” he trailed off, bringing your intertwined hands to his lips and pressed a soft kiss to your knuckles.

It made you giggle, free hand going to cover your mouth as you smiled “I know you know, but you never listen. You’re too stubborn for your own good.”  

He conceded to that, nodding “You know me so well, my love.” He hummed in his baritone voice, opening the door for you before entering himself and closing it with a click.

“Ooh Mr. Darling, what am I too do with you.” You giggled and shook your head, teasing.

“I don’t know Mr./Mrs. Darling, what are you going to do with me?” He tilted his head, long blue hair cascading down his shoulders as he took off his lab coat and threw his shirt over his head. 

You sat down on the bed, snuggling back into your pillows as your husband got ready for bed. Shortly after he joined you, arms snaking around your waist and pulling you into his chest. His warmth spread over you like the softess blanket and sighed happily.

“This is much better.” You muttered, head going to rest on his chest and arms wrapping around his neck.

He hummed lowly in agreement, one clawed hand going to massage your scalp and play with your hair, his robotic hand rubbing soothing circles on your back. 

“And you tried to skip out on this.” You pressed a soft kiss to his chest, right above where his heart was hammering away. 

He purred quietly, a soothing sound that lulled you even closer to sleep.

“Just go to sleep, my darling.” He mumbled in your ear before giving it a small kiss. “You can scold me in the morning, way later in the morning.”

You giggled, eyes drooping and voice nothing but a whisper. “Ok…”

Being in the arms of the man who stole your heart worked wonders on allowing you to sleep again.

Y/n turned to face him, trying to give him reassuring look.

"They aren't that distracting, I can multi task just just fine.”

"You don't look half bad in that labcoat, better than your boss over there." Opposite mumbled.

"Oh thank you-" Y/n heard him and tried be polite.

"I wasn't complimenting you, geez no need to smile."

"Hmm sure."

His face was slightly flushed as he acted all defensively while they just calmly stared at him.

"I think you would look even better without it~" Lovesick joined the conversation, the tone in his voice was very flirty.

"To bad, the labcoats are mandatory." Y/n laughed, seeing no harm in comment.

They where about to say something else but another one of the bunch was already trying to get their attention.

"Get your grabby hands away from that-"

Rainbow was restraining Opposite from mixing different vials with colors together. Wasting the substances as he had no clue on how the techniques they normally used here.

"My sincere apologies but it seems like three members of our group have disappeared...." Royal said apologetically.

Mob had sneaked away to rob the factory cafeteria snacks. His presence intimidating the poor staff.

Actor went out of his way to give out authographs of himself. Also trying to demand- convince everyone to watch his show.

Original had accidentally gotten separated from the group and gotten lost. He was crying somewhere in random hallway.

"We have a sick patiënt here, we might need to head to the infirmary." Priest added, as he pointed at Lovesick who had black substance leaking from his mouth and eyes, leaving stains everywhere.

So all in all things wheren't going that smoothly.

Rainbow looked like he was about to snap, Y/n took his hand leading him away to empty room.

"I shall ban all of them permanently from setting foot again on my property."

"Boss, you are clearly stressed out, let me handle this."

He looked at them, the cold look in his eyes became a bit softer, a bit more caring.

"No, you shouldn't concern yourself with them. Those idiots are my responsibility, not yours."

"But I want to help you, now sit and relax. Imma bring those puppets in line."

He felt his lips slighty curl up into a amused smile.

He had seen them tackle down escaping test subjects and using the grinder to drain color from bodies. Now he thought about it, this might actually be to easy for them.

"You get twenty minutes to get them all in my office."

"I’ll do it in fifteen if you take me out on to a nice restaurant of my choice and you'll be paying for everything."

Rainbow knew they would purposely pick a really fancy and pricy place to drain his funds. He stared at his watch, contemplating. Y/n waited for his anwser, looking at him challenging him to agree or they would call him a scared chicken to his face.

"You get ten minutes, or else we are splitting the costs."

"Deal!"

"Ah free food~ Nothing I love more in this world." Y/n smiled, letting out a exaggerated sigh.

"I can't believe they charge such a ridiculous amount of money for a simple salad." Rainbow grumpily remarked as he stared at the menu card.

The assistant stared at their boss, happy he took the time to dress up for the occasion, it almost felt like a date.

"If you wanted to hold my hand you could've just asked." They giggled, feigning innocence as his prosthetic was placed on top of their hand (having moved it themselves as he wasn't paying attention).

"I don't recall leaving my hand in that position... someone is in a cheeky mood I see." He said, now putting pressure onto the weight of his arm, trapping their hand under his one.

"Hey! I still need that arm to eat."

"That's to bad, afterall I just wanted to hold your hand so badly." He said mockingly.

Y/n tried to get free but their attempts where in vain, now they couldn't properly eat as they had terrible coordination skills with their other hand.

Rainbow smiled maliciously as he held up a spoonfull of food for them. He used his own free hand to hold it out for them to eat from.

"You seem to be struggling, let me help you."

"I don't want to be spoonfed, I'm not a kid (you wheren't Ophelia 🥰) !"

"Should've thought about that earlier, I don't intend on letting go of your arm now. So accept my offer here or starve."

"Can you at least give me something tasty, I don't want your salad. Unlike you I'm not on a diet."

Rainbow shoved the spoonful of his healthy nutritious meal into Y/n's mouth, deaf to their protests and complaints.

I paced nervously in the waiting room, trying to avoid eye contact with Lily Joyful, Wally Darling's daughter. She was sitting on a couch, wearing a pink dress and holding a stuffed bunny. She had a worried look on her face. She was waiting for her mother, Julie Joyful, who was the head of the medical team in the factory. Julie Joyful was in surgery, helping Wally Darling, her husband and my boss, get a robot arm to replace the one he lost in a freak accident.

The waiting room was small and sterile, with white walls and fluorescent lights. There were a few magazines on a coffee table, but they were all outdated and boring. The only sound was the ticking of the clock and the occasional beep of the intercom. I felt trapped and restless, like a caged animal.

Lily Joyful looked like a miniature version of her mother, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a pink dress with white lace and ribbons, and holding a stuffed bunny with floppy ears and a bow tie. She looked like a doll, but not a happy one. She looked like she had been crying, and her eyes were red and puffy. She kept glancing at the door of the operating room, hoping to see her mother come out with good news.

I felt a pang of guilt as I remembered the kiss we shared moments after the glass shattered and sliced through his arm. His arm was severed by a large piece of glass, and he collapsed on the floor, bleeding profusely. I screamed and ran to his side, trying to stop the bleeding with the rag. He looked at me with pain and love in his eyes, and I kissed him and he kissed back, feeling a surge of passion and longing. I had always admired him as my boss, the head scientist of the factory, but I never thought he would feel the same way about me.

He had been working on a secret project for months, something that he said would change the world for the better. He never told me what it was, only that it was important and dangerous. He said he needed my help to finish it, but he also warned me not to tell anyone about it, not even Julie Joyful. He said she wouldn't understand or approve of his work. He said she was too jealous and insecure to trust him.

She didn't trust me either.

She was always cold and distant to me, treating me like an intruder or a threat. She never smiled or thanked me for my work. She never asked me how I was or what I liked. She only gave me orders or criticisms. She didn't care about me at all.

She didn't care about Wally either.

She didn't appreciate his genius or his kindness. She didn't love him as much as he deserved. She only loved herself and her work.

She only loved Lily.

Lily was her pride and joy, her precious daughter. She spoiled her with gifts and attention, but she also controlled her with rules and expectations. She wanted Lily to be perfect, just like her.

But Lily wasn't perfect.

She had a secret too.

A secret that would shock everyone.

A secret that would change everything.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek as I sat down on a chair in the corner of the waiting room.

The clock ticked slowly.

I waited for Wally Darling, my boss and my lover.

-🌈When Walden first met you, he didn't think much of you except that you were his assistant, at first he just thought that you were shy and intoverted, but than he started to notice how you strangely talked to others just fine. -🌈Walden started to notice every little thing you did with others and not him, the way you actually talked to others and not just nod and leave, the way you laughed when others talked, the way you smiled at others, he watched all of it, and it slowly started to annoy him. -🌈After noticing all of the little things he tried to talk with you more but you always seemed to push him away when it wasn't work related, that was what started to annoy him more, he's trying his best to make you comfortable with him, but why won't you accept it?

You always dreaded going to Walden's office, you don't mean to ignore him, it's just you couldn't trust someone who owned this place. Therefore you try to keep your distance from him.

You knocked on the door before opening it and walking in, keeping your head slightly slanted down, enough to be able to see where you were going but still not being able to look at his eyes, but even then you could feel his eyes staring at you, watching your every movement. Quickly placing the papers on his desk you nodded in respect before making your way to the door.

"Stay"

You didn't want to, by gods you didn't want to but he was your boss and it was work hours, you turned around and waited for him to talk "why do you treat me so different? You don't even look at me, at first I thought you where shy but you act so different in front of others, why?" every bone in your body told you to run, but you knew you couldn't even if you tried.

You knew what he was capable of, that's why he own's this business.

ANNOUNCEMENT!!

as I have recently checked, I have now reached twenty followers. That means fanfic posting time! It is around 11k words, and 11 chapters. It is titled True Colors and is an RFXYN fiction! It is nowhere else! I will post the first chapter as soon as I can. The chapter updates WILL be erratic and random but will (kind of) be every two-three weeks. It is still in editing so there will be errors! I am welcome to constructive criticism! Also this is a finished fic, its just in editing
