If 42 y/n did lose their powers temporarily after the captain died, then I can see that originally (how the canon is supposed to be played out), after Jefferson’s death, 42 Miles would be bitten by his spider while y/n goes M.I.A. I’m not sure what would happen after, maybe like, y/n meets 42 venom takes over her body, does some evil things, 42 Miles has to defeat venom (not knowing y/n is under there), kills venom which then ends up killing the reader and has them dying in Mike’s arms. Now with the whole canon being messed up, that ain’t happening, or at least in the same way it was intended

Is 42 Y/n a part of the spider society? Is she part of the 1610 Miles rescue team? I imagine that she got recruited to the spider society just after she left because that was her cannon event. Anyways you're really good at writing stuff that makes me feel like I got punched in the gut emotionality, can't wait for the next part.

If 42 yn is still alive and kickin and after the spit is defeated and miles saves his dad and the multiverse doesn’t collapse, imagine all the mess y/n has to fix in her dimension, cause her city looks ROUGH. Especially with the sinister six cartel or whatever it’s called roaming around. Ig if yn meets the other spiders and become friends they can help her out

now I’m even more tempted to go this route because imagining her dipping after his dad dies and coming back later on to find her dimension looking like it’s been THROUGH IT is so funny to me

Ngl, I can kinda see that after Captain Morales dies and y/n running away, her having some sort of existential crisis and doubting their abilities so much, 42 y/n suddenly lost grip in their superpowers (so they can’t stick to anything and all that), so they sort of run away to a safer place

this would absolutely happen what with mentality having a lot to do with being able to control them, I can’t imagine feeling like a failure of a superhero would help y/n in that case </3
