Alright, your turn! If YOUR OCs starred in a movie, who would you pick to play them?
(I know you have a ton of OCs, feel free to just do the ones you can come up with a good answer for - I struggled to pick people for this and I have like half the OCs you do lol)
Alright so some of these people aren't actors or anything but they're definitely who I imagine the characters looking like-
Siv: Romy Flores, 100%. She's got the face, the nose, the "don't give a fuck" attitude. All she'd really need is gray contact lenses and either a haircut or a short wig.
Hailey: Lynk Lee isn't 100% perfect for Hailey, since Hailey has a more stocky, muscular build, but in the hypothetical movie, if she were to do some weight training, she could definitely do Hailey justice. Also, she'd need green/blue contacts for Hailey's post-death heterochromatic eyes.
Jay: Elliot Fletcher is the closest I can get to how I imagine Jay looking, though I would hypothetically want to cast someone who was both transmasc and physically disabled, since Jay is both.
Cassandra: Halle is absolutely perfect for Cassandra- though if she were to play the role, she'd need violet contacts for Cassandra's magic-corrupted eyes.
Arya: Cayley Spivey, 100%! This, but with elf ears and a shaggy mullet! (fun fact: Spivey was the fancast for Siv's original design)
Esme: Ava Max is my current fancast for her. She's got the bleach blonde hair, the "party girl" vibe and the angular yet cutesy face.
Gina: Ilianna Ayala Garcia would make a pretty good Gina, imo, though she's a little older than the actual Gina was when she died, what movie doesn't have a 20-something playing a teen?
Ember: Marina Summers, a queen who starred in S1 of Drag Race Philippines, is absolutely perfect for Ember!
Cat: Even though she doesn't necessarily look entirely like Cat, I've never been able to imagine anyone but Anna Cathcart as her. I think its just the vibes lol.
Kyle: This random-ass hockey player from Minnesota, Ryan Johnson, has been my faceclaim for Kyle since I first created the character.
Max: Heng Sokvisal makes a pretty good Max, just slap on a pair of glasses and we're good to go!
Khalil: Shameik Moore makes the perfect Khalil imo. No comments, just vibes. (though since Khalil works as a makeup artist I'd definitely give him some gold eyeliner or something)
Reggie: Winnie Harlow's pretty much perfect for Reggie, though she'd need blue contacts because Reggie has xer dad's eyes.
Ameerah: Amandla Stenberg makes an absolutely amazing Ameerah, I'd definitely want her to have the light blonde hair like in the picture, and she'd need pink contacts to match Ameerah's description.
Rania: Denise Bidot, 10000000%. She's been my faceclaim for her for like, FOREVER.
Director Hawke: Julianne Moore, specifically in her "President Coin" look. Director Hawke was loosely based on President Coin, so I've always imagined her looking somewhat like her.
Meredith: Rachel Zegler, but with glasses and lighter brown hair.
Onnie: Same as Siv lol it's her multiversal variant
Jessi: Same as Esme, multiversal variant
Pippa: Veondre Mitchell is the perfect Pippa! She was actually the one who I initially based Pippa's appearance off of.
Hyun-Ki: Park Sung-Hoon is a pretty good Hyun-Ki. From his dramatic looks to his honestly kinda gorgeous voice. I don't doubt he'd make a great Hyun-Ki
Thalia: Teyonah Parris is Thalia, there's no doubt about it. Ever since I watched Wandavision and saw her as Monica Rambeau, I knew that she'd be perfect to play Thalia in her hypothetical movie.
Reyna: K-Pop soloist AleXa is a pretty good fancast for her, though she'd need some pretty good SFX makeup or CGI due to Reyna being a near-human felid species.
Athena: Alaqua Cox (AKA Echo from Hawkeye) is how I imagine Athena looks, but with a white streak in the front of her hair (and a lot more seductive of an aesthetic)
Laila: Youtuber Beth Crowley is my faceclaim for Laila, though as Laila I'd want her to either don a short bob or a short wig, and amber contacts.
Marie: Mayu Maeshima is a great faceclaim for Marie, though she'd need SFX makeup for Marie's Romulan features and her Borg implants.
Qiara: Due to Qiara's nature as a being of pure energy, she doesn't necessarily take the same form at all times. However, the one she frequents the most could very well be portrayed by Chiquis Rivera.
Liah: Raquel Rodriguez would make a great Liah, she has the right height and build for her, she would just need SFX makeup for Liah's Cardassian features, and hazel contacts.
Samira: Desiree Akhavan would make a pretty good Samira. She definitely fits how I imagine Samira to look, and she's got the right vibe to play her as well.
Sohelia: Golshifteh Farahani is a pretty good faceclaim for Sohelia, though she'd need some light makeup to make her skin more ashy, due to Sohelia being half-vampire.
Vanessa: Storm Reid is absolutely perfect for Vanessa, though for most of the movie she'd be replaced with either a puppet or CGI double for her monster form.
Dolores: Diane Guerrero is perfect for Dolores. She'd just need some minor makeup in order to look more like a vampire, i.e. ashy skin, red eyes, fangs, etc.
I don't have faceclaims for Eric, Jacob, Antonio, Cory, Soraya, Aldrich, Matt, or Victorie yet.

Kiwa Express Opens at Ayala Malls Manila Bay Offering Authentic and Affordable Korean Cuisine
The all new Kiwa Express opened its doors last February 4, 2023 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay offering exceptional Korean dining options at an affordable price point. Branching out from the renowned Kiwa Korean Grill in Solaire Resort & Casino, this new quick-service casual Korean restaurant is an offshoot of the original fine-dining location and promises to bring premium Korean menu offerings not yet offered by other Korean restaurants.
It was a fun and spicy affair last Saturday as Kiwa Express held their Grand Opening together with the restaurant owners and friends from the media. The Hungry Kat was invited to join this lovely event and I was quite excited to be dining at Kiwa again, especially since I also loved dining at Kiwa Korean Grill (Read: Elegant Korean Grill Dining at Kiwa in Solaire Resort & Casino). Everyone was treated to delicious and authentic Korean cuisine, which meant that most of the dishes came out hot and spicy!
Dr. David Shim, CEO and owner of Kiwa Express, personally led the ribbon-cutting ceremonies to officially open Kiwa Express. Together with Dr. Shim was France Eusebio, General Manager of Ayala Malls Group; Reyna Aguilar, Operations Manager of Kiwa Express; and Veronica Valdez, Operations Manager of Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Dr. Shim believes Korean food will continue to be popular among Filipinos. “I observe food being served to the general public is too much of fast food and instant food. It is too salty, sweet, deep fried and harmful to your health. Korean food offers a healthy alternative as it uses generous portions of vegetables. Kiwa Korean food, in particular, is not instant nor ready-made food, and always delivered via on-site preparation and cooking. I hope to provide healthier alternative for Filipino people for better well-being."
You can find Kiwa Express at the third floor of the huge and sprawling Ayala Malls Manila Bay, near the Korean Town and Japan Town area. KIWA actually means roof tiles in Korean, and this highlights the aesthetic harmony of traditional and modern elements inside the restaurant.
Guests were able to wear these traditional hanbok for photos so we could really feel the Korean vibe. They also had a live band outside playing popular Korean and Filipino tunes.
Kiwa Express had a full house that afternoon and everyone was excited to try their Korean specialties. The restaurant can seat around 30 to 40 guests so you can bring along your friends and families.
They also have a semi-open kitchen so you can take a peek at how they prepare their dishes. They have an extensive lineup of popular and very interesting Korean dishes so take a look at the menu and order what you like. Some of the recommended menu items are also displayed on their screens.
Dr. Shim explains his reasons for opening Kiwa Express. “I’ve been operating Kiwa Restaurant in Solaire since 2015 and there has been this growing demand from Filipino regulars wanting easier access to my authentic Korean food.” “Authentic” is an important aspect of the Kiwa Express experience for Dr. Shim. “It is true-to-heart Korean food. Not fusion. Not localized. And we offer high-caliber and quality Korean cuisine at a very affordable price...the quality is identical to the food that they would sample from Kiwa in Solaire.”
Each guest is given a complimentary banchan appetizer set including kimchi, roasted potatoes and pickled vegetables. Try some of their Flavored Sodas like the Rose Monin (P130) and the Lychee Monin (P130). Better yet, go for some Korean beers and soju to complete your dining experience.
The Kiwa Express menu features items hand-picked by Dr. Shim from the Kiwa Korean Grill and classified as Kiwa signature dishes and chef’s special recommendations. We started with some Japchae (P320) which is a Korean noodle dish made with pan fried glass noodles, beef and assorted vegetables.
The Kimchi Jeon (P280) or kimchi seafood pancake comes with a crunchy texture mixed together with onions and vegetables. It’s a bit spicy but is a good way to start your Korean adventure. Portion sizes in Kiwa Express are priced according to individual servings.
There are also family-sized options for diners who come in big groups like the Tteokbokki (P350). These are stir fried spicy Korean rice cakes cooked in a hot and flavorful broth. This order can be shared by three to four persons.
My favorite dish that afternoon was the Galbitang (P499) which is the Korean version of bulalo. This comes with beef short ribs that are stewed slowly in aromatics resulting in a clean, delicate broth that is a feast to the senses. Dr. Shim highly recommends this and he guarantees that it will make you very happy. In fact, I was more than happy eating and slurping this bowl, especially with the very tender beef chunks which are cut to bite-sized portions before placing the bowl on your table. The hearty, nourishing beef stew is a great gateway to the world of Korean food.
Another recommended dish for the spicy food lovers is the Sundubu Jigae (P399). This is a very spicy soup cooked with crabs, shrimps, and soft tofu.
One of my favorite dishes to eat and prepare at home is the ramyeon, which was popularized here in Manila after the movie Parasite came out, so I made sure to order my own bowl of Haemukl Ramyeon (P349). These are instant noodles served with seafood including shrimp and mussels. It’s a very comforting dish to eat any time of the day.
Kiwa Express surprisingly also serves Saeu Twigim (P390) or more commonly called shrimp tempura. These crunchy deep-fried shrimps may not exactly be Korean but I’m not complaining. Each order comes with 8 pieces of shrimp tempura so that’s really getting your money’s worth.
Another of our favorites that afternoon was the Dakgang Jeong (P350) with its double deep fried chicken cuts cooked with sweet sauce. It’s much much better than the Korean fried chicken offered at fast food outlets.
For those who want a complete meal, order the Bibimbap (P349) which is a Korean fried rice topped with pan fried vegetables, beef and fried egg in a hot pot. Mix all the ingredients together and you have a rice dish that you can eat on its own.
There’s also the Pork Donkatsu (P350) which comes with deep fried pork cutlets served with coleslaw and danmuji. You can also opt for the Fish Donkatsu (P290) instead of you prefer seafood.
To cap off all those amazing Korean dishes, we also got a taste of some Korean desserts. The Bingsu is a Korean style halo halo with shaved ice combined with several ingredients. The Mango Bingsu (P150-S/P300-L) comes with generous slices of mangoes topped with Vanilla ice cream while the Pat Bingsu (P150-S/P300-L) has red beans, cereals and mochi.
Kiwa Express in Ayala Malls Manila Bay is the first of many branches already in the works. I’m happy that they have made their Kiwa Korean Grill offerings more affordable and accessible to mall goers. I’ll definitely be going back here for more of the Galbitang.

It was his way of thanking the public for all of the affection they had shown him throughout his career as one of the most prolific and highly regarded composers and singers Mexico has ever produced.Jiminez, Jos A.Jimnez, Jos Alberto Gimnez, Jos Alfredo, Jos Alfredo Gimnez, Jos Alfredo J., Jose Alfredo Jimemez, Jose Alfredo Jimenes, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Jos Alfredo Jimnez Sandoval, Jose Alfredo Jiminez, Jos Antonio, Jos Antonio Jimnez, Jose Gimenez, Jose Jimenez, Jose Jimenez, Sr., Jos-Alfredo Jimenez, Luis A. One of his last appearances on Mexican television occurred in 1973, just months prior to his death, where he introduced his last song, "Gracias", accompanied by his wife, singer Alicia Juarez. He was only forty-seven years old when he died in Mexico City, of complications resulting from cirrhosis of the liver. Like many of his contemporary stars, such as Jorge Negrete, Pedro Infante, and Javier Solís, Jiménez died young. The country artist Luke Tan recorded a disc of his favorite Jiménez songs in Spanish, including some English translations. In addition, Joaquín Sabina paid homage to Jiménez with his song, "Por el Bulevar de los Sueños Rotos" ("On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams"). In addition to his own recordings, many of his songs have been recorded by renowned artists from around the Spanish-speaking world, most notably by the following artists: Selena, which she sang “Cuando Nadie Te Quiera”, Miguel Aceves Mejía, Enrique Bunbury, Antonio Aguilar, Tania Libertad, Luis Aguilar, Lola Beltrán, Vikki Carr, Gualberto Castro, Rocío Dúrcal, Alejandro Fernández, Pedro Fernández, Vicente Fernández, Los Relámpagos Del Norte con Cornelio Reyna y Ramón Ayala, Los Tigres del Norte, Manolo García, Little Joe Hernández & The Latinaires, Julio Iglesias, Pedro Infante, the Mexican rock group Maná, Luis Miguel, Jorge Negrete, Sunny Ozuna & The Sunliners, María Dolores Pradera, Javier Solís, and Chavela Vargas. Among the most famous are "Yo", "Me equivoqué contigo", " Ella", "Paloma querida","Que se me acabe la Vida ", "Tú y la mentira", "Media vuelta", " El Rey", "Sin sangre en las venas", "El jinete", "Si nos dejan", "Amanecí en tus brazos", "Llegando a ti", "Tu recuerdo y yo", El hijo del pueblo", "Cuando el destino", "El caballo blanco", "Llegó borracho el Borracho" and "Que te vaya bonito", as well as "Camino de Guanajuato", where he sang about his home state of Guanajuato. The first ever songs of José Alfredo Jiménez to be recorded.Īfter this promising beginning, he composed more than 1,000 songs. He recorded "Ella, "Yo", "Serenata huasteca" and "Tu Recuerdo y yo". Don Miguel was impressed and promised to support him and record his songs. A few days later, José Alfredo arrived to the radio and started singing a capella his songs “Ella” and some more. Miguel asked him to look for him at the Radio Station XEW, where he had an audition called Amanecer Ranchero, together with the Mariachi Vargas and Rubén Fuentes. Would you like to hear some? Maybe you like them”. I`m waiter because of necessity, but I compose songs. The clerk came to him and asked: “Don Miguel. One day in 1948, Miguel Aceves Mejía and some friends arrived for dinner to a restaurant called La Sirena, in Santa Maria de la Rivera. He was discovered in 1948 by the singer Miguel Aceves Mejía and according to him he did not play an instrument and did not even know the Spanish word for " waltz" or what " keys" his songs were in. Jiménez was born in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Gobernadora entregó mastógrafos a hospitales de Iguala, Taxco, Tlapa y Renacimiento
ACAPULCO, Gro.
