Since your into static dress you definitely need to explore the bands bury your idols if I die first Seeyouspacecowboy and wristmeetrazor. They are a huge part of revivalcore aka bands that should like older post hardcore and metalcore bands. Personally this sub genre has been so much fun to explore. I mean with bands like this actively touring and putting out music it feels like the 2000’s all over again and considering I was too young for the first go round this makes me so happy.

YES I'm not sure if ur the same anon who sent me song recs before but all of those bands were in there and I rlly liked the sound of em - it's a nice combo of the music I grew up with (lmao i say this as if I'm not a teenager still 💀 but my dad played a lot of dad rock/metal) and the music I listen to now (2000's emo stuff) so I'm def investigating them further :33

FYI if you want to find amazing bands that sound like they came from 2004 check out revivalcore on Reddit. I swear I’ve found so many cool bands for my collection including new favorite divinity falls. So definitely give that a look.
