Claro que hablamos del amor. Y lo celebramos. Nos acordamos de vosotras casi todo el rato, después del almuerzo y al salir de la ducha. Cuando estamos un poco cansados pero estamos bien. Entendemos, los hombres, el amor como un ejército de pequeños violines desafinados. Nos creemos bellos y poderosos y sin remordimientos. Pero hoy es un día perfecto para compensar tanta pereza. Entre celebrar y no celebrar, nosotros elegimos siempre brindar juntos.

Creemos en el amor cuando vemos lo pequeña que es vuestra ropa doblada sobre el colchón. Cuando nos damos cuenta del poco espacio que ocupamos si nos abrazamos fuerte. Creemos en las mañanas compartidas, en las ganas intactas y en cenar hamburguesas con champán. En un selfie juntos pero muy de vez en cuando.

Creemos en el amor cuando nos damos cuenta de que nos queréis por el hombre que no somos. Cuando escribimos vuestro nombre en el aliento de un cristal y también en ese momento en el que se os dobla la tripa al sentaros sobre la cama. Nos sabemos de memoria el lugar de vuestros lunares, de verdad que sí.

Creemos en el amor cuando nos damos cuenta de que nos encantaría ver vuestros ojos en los ojos de (quién sabe) algún bebé. Cuando nos separamos en la cama para poder dormir pero no demasiado porque es mejor no dejar de frotarnos un pelín las piernas. Y cuando descubrimos que queremos cuidar el uno del otro. Te protegeré de la melancolía, lo prometo.

Creemos en el amor cuando nos vamos por las ramas pero no nos dejáis que lleguemos demasiado lejos. Creemos en ese momento en que el ambiente huele a alcohol y jacintos a la vez, cuando nuestros ombligos rozan vuestras vértebras. También cuando fingís que os gusta tanto Statham como a nosotros.

Creemos en el amor, por supuesto que sí. En que no hay amores grandes ni pequeños, no hay mordiscos en los labios a veces y otras veces cosquillas en los pies. Porque sólo sabemos querer de una forma: de verdad. Y la verdad vale para todos los amores, cuando queremos a mujeres y cuando queremos a hombres. Cambia la piel en cualquiera de estas palabras: funcionará igual.

Pero es que creemos que el amor son sólo unas pocas palabras exactas.

Why Timothée Chalamet is the only one who could go to the Oscars in a tracksuit-tuxedo

I like this analysis from GQ Spain—because of course Timmy's outfit was going to be worthy of analysis today lol. Excuse the raw translation 😊:

Timothée Chalamet has appeared at the 2020 Oscars in what can be described as a Prada tracksuit-tuxedo—or the most sophisticated tracksuit ever—and a vintage Cartier brooch. The Italian designer showed up at the party in a tracksuit and heels, and went remarkably unnoticed.

Both then and now—as the cries of the most purists have shown when they see Chalamet—, feels inconceivable to go to a red carpet of such prestige dressed in a sporty look, even if it is a deluxe edition. Timothée Chalamet has gradually redefined a new masculinity and a new aesthetic for the generations to come.  Timothée Chalamet would never be the most elegant man if we applied orthodox criteria, but he is always one of the most anticipated. Timothée Chalmet, with this Nylon piece, is today the exception that by age, style and charisma confirms the rule that the red carpet of these Oscars has returned to the most classic elegance ever seen—tuxedos with simple buttons (…) triumphed.
