im gonna go on a rant about the reversed endings because bsbdksjf theyre amazing

1. i have to start with lucios reversed ending because his route is my favorite djbdjdj. to be completely honest i feel very cool playing this route ok. like wow. mc beat the shit out of the devil. they became the devil. they have almost total control of the mortal realm without even needing to be there.

the throne room(?) shakes when they speak? wonderful. the font of the text changed? unreasonably awesome. they presumably have little goat horns and hooves and shit like devil!nadia?? fucking adorable. i love them they’re perfect

2. i love love love how it’s written. lucio being pissed at the devil for ruining everything??? lucio splitting away from the group?? the mc chasing after them???? lucio explaining that they’re going to fight the devil and mc going with them because bitch if we’re going to die we’re doing it together??!?! holy shit!!!

mc and lucio fighting the devil until they’re both on the brink of collapse, both refusing to give up, and mc pleading with the major arcana for anything to help them win and insisting that they don’t care what happens to them as long as they can win this fight!?!!

and holy SHIT the scene with mc dying is heavenly. lucio’s desperation and panic because oh god you’re dying AGAIN and he has no idea how to fix it and begging mc to come back before i guess making them into the devil?? fucking sign me up i would get wrecked by major arcana any day of the week for that scene istg

the delightfully ominous little monologue mc goes on before they wake up and lucios relief!! the implied angst of asra and nadia and the other major arcana being borderline powerless against mc!!!! hahdjdhhddjjejvvv!!!!!!!! amazing i love it i love it i love it so much

3. im just gonna say it. mc and lucio are both hot in this ending. im not going to elaborate on that either you get it or you don’t

(there is more i love about his reversed ending im just incapable of finding the words for it, but other people definitely have way better takes!! im not here to have a good helpful opinion on this im just rambling about something i really like)

1. i love the conflicting feelings in this ending. like,, is it awesome that we get to be together seemingly forever and have no worries or troubles and just camp out in the middle of nowhere in a magic alternate universe thing? hell yeah that sounds like so much fun

but also. we’re stuck here. forever. alone. everyone we knew and loved is gone and we don’t even know it because we can’t remember any of them or anything at all of our lives before getting here

as far as we know, it’s always been like this.

that’s more than a little bit terrifying, i think

2. the implied angst that the others outside of this weird ass realm know that we’re gone and probably not coming back

maybe they’re trying in vain to find a way to pull us out, or maybe they’ve given up and lost hope

what’s happening on the other side??? what’s going on up there??? guess we’ll never know because it looks like we just obliviously sealed off the last means of contact we had with them

and the fact that faust KNOWS something is up but can’t do anything about it

anyway it’s like 10pm and my brain just died so im gonna go implode now
