Everything seemed fine at first when he's a child, even if the two head druids (is that what they're called? Idk, I'm talking about Jenna and Zaneri) treated him kind of weird. Then, at some point, his magic powers awakened, and boy does he wish they hadn't.

The awakening of ones magic powers were supposed to be a happy occasion for those it happened to. The fact that this was the turning point in Mels life where everything went from bad to abysmal just seemed to be the universes version of a bad joke.

It happened when he was climbing one of the towers in Istar. He wanted to see what his home looked like from above after finally escaping the judgemental eyes of his peers and "caretakers" for once (Did he have parents? If he did, he doesn't know, everyone refuses to tell him about them). He made it up pretty far, but his foothold slipped and he fell. Time seemed to slow as the ground rose up to meet him, wanting to swallow him up whole. Before the earth got it's wish though, his body acted without his knowledge. His fall slowed, though not to a halt, and he hit the ground hard. But he lived.

He groaned as he sat up and immediately wished the ground had taken him after all when several dozen druids were staring at him, many appearing enraged. That is, more enraged than normal when they were forced to look at him.

As he looked himself over, he discovered why they were staring at him with those looks. He was covered in scratches and there was a pretty mean gash on his leg. What alarmed him though is the fact that his body was covered not just in blood, but also in some kind of black substance, swirling on his skin and almost wafting off his body.

He paniked, tried to shake it off, but to no avail. It stuck to him.

He heard screaming and yelling through a fuzz and then he was dragged off by a few older druids. The next clear memory was of him being thrown on the ground before Jenna and Zaneri, who looked at him with the usual disdain in their eyes.

"The demon has shown his true colors! I say we kill him already as we should have done long ago!" Someone yelled.

"It's him or us!"

"KILL! KILL! KILL!"

Everyone present chanted for his death.

Meliodas' heartbeat quickened, his mind was racing. Would they finally kill him?

Was this the end of his short, miserable life?

He couldn't breathe.

"Help...", he whispered with the small voice of a scared child.

'Help won't come, Child', a deep gravely voice, deep as if the ocean itself was speaking to him from it's deepest darkest depths, told him.

A tear fell from the childs eyes as he responded, "I know."

also there are some scattered mumblings on loop in this AU under the cut if anyone's interested (spoilers for all of ISAT, including 2hats!)

TLDR - The Universe keeps fucking with Loop and they are not really happy about it, regardless of timing.

While I haven't decided anything 100% concrete for Loop, the idea of a reverse isekaied Loop in general is interesting to me, so I'll be exploring that a bit here. Especially in terms of timing on when Loop gets taken out of their timeline. At least in terms of immediate outlook within this AU. So, for now, have a couple of those thoughts!

The two main points in time I am currently considering are the following:

1. From when they gave up their original wish and made a new one.

In this instance, I feel like their arc would play a bit similar to in game

Seeing this new world as different & peaceful

Since they don’t have to deal with the loops anymore, just watch whatever happens.

Be a lil silly for funsies! The chaos that can ensue with a star being existing within a modern world! 

Even though it hurts to see Siffrin’s team hanging around, they really don’t have anywhere to go at the moment (hard to hide a star being in this type of world)

To a slow realization of how unfair this whole situation is. In comparison to all of the horrors they went through, this Siffrin has it so easy.

This Siffrin gets to live an idyllic life, free from the world calamity of being frozen & the literal time loop.

This Siffrin gets to freely hang around their family team, with no foreseeable "end" to being with them in sight.

This Siffrin had their original wish, the wish Loop wanted granted, handed to them on a silver platter. 

This Siffrin, nor anyone in this world, would ever be able to come close to understanding what Loop went through; Loop would never truly be seen in this world, not fully anyway.

What does The Universe have against them, to put them into this world and make them witness all of this?

It should have been them, with this carefree type of life, given all they went through.

2. AFTER the fight with Siffrin.

This leans a bit more lighthearted than the last, since Loop would have gone through all the development from the game via convos + the talk at the very end with Siffrin, and has a bit more peace about their whole deal.

Perhaps they would still see the same conclusions as above, since healing from the horrors would not happen all at once, if ever, with additional flavor

Underlying bitterness in why the script is still going. 

Why is The Universe asking for them to continue into a new world and role?

Haven’t they had enough, once making them witness another Siffrin’s loops and perfect ending, and now a completely idyllic Siffrin’s life from the get go?

However, there is also a bit of hope in the entire situation. Since if The Universe keeps deciding to fuck with them (as in, sending them to different world lines) there is still, technically, the chance of going backward as well.

To their original timeline and to their family.

Once could have been a one-off, but twice?

Perhaps three world jumps might be the minimum to go back, following standard wishing rituals?

More hope in this one from the get-go, with that thought in mind.

Another one I was considering was RIGHT BEFORE the fight with Siffrin, perhaps even mid-fight. However, I don't think that makes much sense for this particular AU ASAFASFASDAS. Can you imagine if Loop just spawned into this world, doesn't realize this is a completely different Siffrin, and attacks on sight?????

Honestly the idea of a reverse-isekaied Loop into different AU's in general is neat, would love to see other people's takes on it!!  Especially cuz of the various reactions/conclusions Loop could have/make based on the scenario/circumstances would be interesting, if that makes sense. At least I think there is something in that thought? I dunno!

I feel like I am missing some characterization bits in here, but that was the main gist of it for now since I cannot remember LMAO.

AU: Where Sukuna Wins

Imagine an alternate universe in which Sukuna triumphs, dominates over Japan, and endures a lonely existence for many centuries, while allowing some humans to live.

They hold a grudge against him, of course, and want to kill him. They train at Jujutsu High and have some great fighters that occasionally provide Sukuna with some entertainment. 

They are so desperate for salvation, they can only find solace in prophecies about a figure with powerful blue eyes that will defeat the king of curses and rescue Japan.

And do you know what Sukuna does in response to that? One might expect him to go full Pharoah mode and kill newborns, but NO!!

HE DOES THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE !!

Whenever he ravages a village and devours the women and children, he ALWAYS spares the blue-eyed infants.

All the curses know better than to kill an infant with blue eyes. The last time a curse did that, Sukuna made sure to make an example of it.

Killing a member of the Gojo clan is also off limits, as well as anything that could delay the reincarnation of this certain person.

These humans are not the only ones waiting for salvation.

Sukuna is also WAITING...for his wretched existence to end at the hands of this person.

The ONLY one worthy of having the honor to do so.

Oneshot Mini-Ramble Three

ANYWAY. Day 3, doing another middle one: Shadow Dragon Au

Well first off, this is a reverse robins AU! Bruce gets baby- around 3 or 4- Damian due to said baby taking after him draconically. The Al Ghuls are more serpentine dragons, more eastern-style mixed with sea serpent. And it's just not healthy for Damian to live there in the desert, so he's brought to his father instead.

There's of course adjustments, and then in the middle of all this? Finds the neighbor's toddler digging through the trash with another blonde toddler. Apparently someone left a cursed item or three be easily accessible and yeah, there's two more hatchlings in Gotham.

Now Damian? Relationship with his siblings is quite different because older sibling? Bad. Younger siblings? Why that's a small creature that looks up to him, that sees him as a role model. And dragons? They hoard.

So is it really that big of a surprise when more hatchlings follow?

Azutara AU - Katara is in the EK with Aang, Sokka and Toph when she decides to step out for a while and go on a walk. While out, a strong storm hits and Katara is forced to find shelter in some abandoned barn or something. As she’s waiting for the storm to pass, she realizes there’s someone else in the barn: an injured blue dragon with familiar golden eyes.

Dude I think your oc is giving me brainrot because I had a dream where Artic was in a cave and the Once-ler was all curled up looking sad and scared so Artic went up to him and cuddled him. (The reason why he was scared was because he was cursed to turn into a shadow creature. So as he was transforming Artic was just holding him. Also Artic sounded british?? I have no idea what your HC voice for her is but she sounded like Rose Tyler from Doctor who in my dream.)

OUGHGHGHHH I'm having so many thoughts about this-

Right off the bat the concept of a cursed shadowy Onceler reminds me of these posts!!

And caves!! In the valley!! I had already been thinking about em bc of the concept art, something about the valley at night just says "there's a cave behind that waterfall" to me lol

The Onceler running away, maybe because he didn't want Artic to get hurt, maybe because he feared what would happen if she saw him like this.

Maybe, just for a moment, he flinches as Artic reaches for him. Because no matter how badly he wants comfort, he can't help but worry if this curse is contagious or if he'll grow spikes or something.

But once she holds his face in her hands and pulls him in for a hug, the poor man just clings to her the entire time. The steady sound of her heartbeat giving him something to focus on…

There’s this scene of her just. Holding the Onceler so so gently asking if it hurts and it breaks my HEART. THEY'RE SO IN LOVE YOUR HONOR

Artic getting up to take off her wings and set them aside, and he panics a little like "Don't- Don't go" but she reassures him that she's not going anywhere.

I still love you, yknow. No matter what happens, no matter how you look by the end of this... You're still the boy I fell in love with.

RAAAAAAAUGH

I can only imagine what the transformation must feel like. The crickle crackle of bones beneath dark fur. The inexplicable feeling of light fading inside him. Forever standing in the shade, just cold enough to prickle at your skin. Left cold and hollow save for bright yellow eyes, longing for the sunlight.

Maybe his freckles turned white or glow in the dark, something something not all the light is gone, not all hope is lost because someone was there for him.

Maybe he can't be in the sunlight for very long, which is devastating for the guy, but Artic makes a little umbrella contraption for him ouo

And that could be one of the reasons he went to a cave! The light was giving him a really bad headache and he needed to get somewhere darker

And she makes him specialized gloves to help him play the guitar with those hand paws!

Yet, for some reason, this malicious spirit cannot snuff out the life of such a pure innocent creature, taking him back to his den. I think Meliodas would be absolutely ecstatic to take part in the fight festival, which makes it a shame that Elizabeth and King (and Diane probably too) think it's a terrible, since he's the prince and all. And unlike the case with canon Elizabeth, who I think mostly just stayed in the capital, Meliodas in this au was eager to travel and did, with the Troublesome Trio, and I can definitely picture him having participated in the fight festival before, or if he was too young to (we don't know if there's a cut off age for participants, but in canon, Meliodas was thought to be a child and he was still allowed to participate).

If he was too young, he still would've watched, probably. In canon, we hear Howzer say that he had wanted to participate in the fight festival for years, but never could, because of work, so in this au, I think he might've been Meliodas' escort, maybe even along with the other two. Gilthunder might've entered solely to show off a little to Meliodas.

Back to present day though, I think Meliodas would've gotten stuck with gathering ingredients or something, anyway away from the arena. I think Diane would enter with the others to get her hammer back instead of staying behind with Meliodas, but since he can't stay behind alone, I think King would stay and keep an eye on him, since Ban can't exactly be trusted to be responsible (plus, he would never pass up a chance to fight with Elizabeth, who is his captain in this au), and the reason why Diane stayed behind was to spend time with Elizabeth. (This is me after writing a whole bunch more and then realizing that Diane still kinda needs to get shrunken down, so let's say Diane also went with them since she can't attend the Fight Festival in her big form anyway, but separates herself from King and Meliodas and encounters the Chicken Matango like that.)

So King and Meliodas go into the forest to gather ingredients. Meliodas obv still wants to participate in the fight festival. At first, he tries sneaking off without King noticing, which doesn't work due to King keeping a very close eye on him, despite appearing to be half asleep. And for the next part, we could go the canon route of Meliodas manipulating King into entering the fight festival anyway for Diane, or another idea would be Meliodas trying to sneak attack King from behind, failing, and King tying him up and hiding him as a result, while he goes off to check on the others at the festival. It doesn't really matter too much where he hides him, because he would find a way to get free anyway. He wouldn't be able to untie himself completely, but he would be able to walk around.

After getting out, he would be found either by Gowther and the demonified Dale (since they were in Vaizel too at the time), or by Veronica and Griamor. If he met Gowther and Dale first, I think Dale would lash out and try to hit him, only to be stopped by Gowther, who calms him down. Meliodas would then make up some fake story about like bandits or something kidnapping him and tying him up, but he escaped. Gowther would untie him then and offer to have Meliodas travel with them, but I think Meliodas would decline in favor of going to the festival anyway, but he would disguise himself first so that no one, including the Sins would regonize him.

If he met Veronica and Griamor first, Veronica would immediately assume that the Sins had tied him up and left him (which to be fair isn't entirely untrue in this situation) and drag him back with her with the help of Griamor and his wall, after untying him. Meliodas doesn't want to, obviously, and I think he would be able to break Griamors wall with a bit of panic-induced demon strength, followed by him running to the Sins for help. Or maybe he dodges Griamor and just runs with the two going after him, either way, they end up chasing after him. If he couldn't break it though, then it would probably go something like Veronica and Griamor staying in the next town over and Elizabeth and the Sins getting him back (after Elizabeth gave King quite the scolding about leaving Meliodas alone).

Meanwhile, King had checked with the other sins and is now in the way back, not without a quiet earful from Elizabeth, who knows Meliodas more than well and what kind of trouble he often gets into. Luckily, he finds him just as Griamor is about to trap him again, and Meliodas and King both fall to the ground. Meliodas is crying because his sister and one of his life long friends are trying to capture him and he doesn't notice King at all and just keeps trying to climb over him to escape. Fortunately, King is keeping a cool head and hits Veronica and Griamor back without seriously injuring them, gathers Meliodas onto Chastifol, perhaps using its Guardian form to get a good grip on him and calm him down, and hurries to get away and to safety.

Meanwhile at the fight festival, the finale has been reached and it's Elizabeth vs Diane when Vaizel gets attacked with Guilas explosions. The one aimed at the ring is deflected by Elizabeth shooting it with her own attack before the people around them can be hurt. I don't know if Elizabeth would pull the same move as Meliodas did in canon with his whole "the Seven Deadly Sins are taking over Vaizel" spiel, but she comes up with something to get the people out of there.

Right after, they all split up to defend the town and Elizabeth goes to search for Meliodas, whom he finds with King. Meliodas has had a moment to calm down and wipe his tears away when they stop. King tells Elizabeth what happened with Veronica and decide to go back to the Boar Hat and gather the others, but are met with Guila before they can move. Jericho is already fighting Ban elsewhere.

Elizabeth engages Guila first, tasking King with protecting Meliodas. After she's defeated, King takes her on instead while telling Meliodas to run, which, for once, he does. He's good in a fight and he knows it, but without a weapon against an opponent like Guila, he knows he can't win.

While he runs, Helbram arrives and takes over fighting King, Guila and Jericho meet up to chase after Meliodas while carrying Elizabeth (Hendrickson wanted her as well, for what they don't know, but Hendrickson needs her blood to open the coffin of darkness, not Meliodas') and Veronica and Griamor also catch up with him. Hendrickson had told Guila and Jericho that Meliodas would pose a risk to their plan and that he is to be neutralized. He also told Veronica that Meliodas had "turned to the dark side" or that the Sins have manipulated him into doing it or something and that the only way for him to be cured is the goddess amber he gave her. Veronica didn't believe her brother to have turned evil, but took the amber anyway just in case.

So Guila and Jericho attack Meliodas, are stopped by Griamor, Elizabeth falling to the ground next to them outside of the bubble, and Veronica tries, unsuccessfully, to convince Meliodas to come back with her. Veronica figures that Hendrickson was, unfortunately, right and he really was corrupted by the Sins, so she uses the goddess amber on him. He gets sucked in just in time for Elizabeth, who was unconscious to see it happening.

Now, what happens next in canon is Meliodas going berserk. In this au, Elizabeth takes over his role (more or less), but I don't know if she even can go berserk like canon Mel did, since that was in direct response to being sucked into the goddess amber and freeing himself by using his demonic powers, which ended up being more than he could control. Meliodas is still at least part demon in this au, but he probably doesn't have the power to break out of the goddess amber, so I guess Elizabeth would have to break him out after Diane comes to the rescue?

I'm honestly not sure how to proceed. Sure, we could have Meliodas going berserk again, but I don't want the Sins to know too much about him already. Although, I guess one could make the guess that it's not demon powers, but actually Meliodas' original magic ability.

Okay, so, I just re-read some of the older posts of this au, because I finally found them again (I used two different tags for this au and was wondering why tf there were only so few^^") and yeah, Meliodas can totally break Griamors wall with a bit of effort and honestly, I do believe that he could also break out of the goddess amber on his own and go berserk. Maybe not as extreme as in canon, but it could happen, especially with him not knowing what's happening and paniking, leading to his demon powers overflowing.

And Elizabeth couldn't defeat the holy knights on her own, because not only does she not have a weapon, but also because she's been weakened 10 years ago. Her weakning could have been Merlin stealing her power, but I have an alternative: Meliodas got gravely hurt and his demon magic went out of control, in order to heal him and stop his magic from causing even more destruction, Elizabeth had to sacrifice a good portion of her goddess magic, making her significantly weaker and she's been unable to gain her power back for all those years, maybe because she even planted some inside Meliodas to help him control his demon magic.

Anyway, so Meliodas goes berserk with Elizabeth unable to stop him, Hendrickson almost kidnaps them both, but is ultimately stopped by Diane coming to the rescue.

Meliodas is questioned afterwards, but he pretends to know about as much as they do, which is nothing (except for Elizabeth, who isn't exactly eager to reveal anything), so for the moment, they guess that it must've been an effect of the goddess amber. Meliodas knows it isn't true, since he's always had this kind of power, but he'd rather not tell them. The Sins likely know he knows more, but they don't want to pressure him, especially since he only just started opening up to them a little bit.

“Mahal, Thorin! Took a mud bath there, did ya?” The bald dwarf teased.

Thorin! His name was Thorin. Bilbo liked it. It was a name that carried weight and seemed to suit his dwarf well. Thorin rolled his eyes in response.

“It’s like this land was trying to kill me.”

“What else is new?” The red head laughed, making everyone burst into loud guffaws.

Thorin smirked, clearly in good spirits even reaching for the bead no longer attached to his braid. Bilbo gripped it tightly beneath his shirt.
