Name: Blair

Race: Latino

Appearance: He has hazel eyes and dyed short purple hair (natural brunette).

Sexuality: Questioning

Age: 19

He has undiagnosed ADHD. He has a bad relationship with his family. Not that they were awful to him, but he definitely wouldn’t want to move back in with them. He moved to Griffin Rock because Sal was and he’s the only one that puts up with him he totally needed a change of pace! A new scene! Yeah…

How He reacts to people flirting with him: Genuine surprise. He plays it off nonchalantly and maybe gets his hopes too high. Will defiantly brag about it to others.

What he drinks in the morning: Energy drink! Red bull, monster, bang, rockstar, doesn’t matter as long as it’s an energy drink.

Human Salvage

Name: Saladin (He just goes by Sal though)

Race: White (Arab heritage)

Appearance: He has blue eyes and short fluffy dirty blond hair.

Sexuality: Omnisexual

Age: 19 (Older than Blair by a couple months)

He is autistic. He was originally going to go to college to major in environmental science, but dropped out when he got the opportunity to live at Griffin Rock and work with the doc and engineers there. What’s better than firsthand experience?

How he reacts to people flirting with him: He is very bashful! If he doesn’t reciprocate the feeling, he’ll politely explain he hopes they can still be good friends. If he does like them or doesn’t know if he may like them, he may take their playful flirting a bit too seriously and consider asking them on a date, just to see if there’s a spark. You never know if you don’t try! And he’s always willing to try something at least once.

What he drinks in the morning: It changes almost daily. Sometimes it’s water, sometimes its tea, sometimes juice or milk. He doesn’t really stick to one specific drink.

Blair and Sal met in high school and have been paling around ever since. Sal likes how Blair gets them into new scenarios he would’ve never thought of before and Blair appreciates Sal’s patience, even if he’s never told him that out loud.

Human Quickshadow

Name: She’s gone by many different names on many different missions for many different reasons. Let’s keep this simple, shall we? Just call her Quin.

Race: Mixed. Half white, half latina.

Appearance: She has blue eyes and a little shorter than shoulder length black hair.

Sexuality: Demiromantic + Demisexual

Age: 24

She is rather secretive but a trusted friend of the rescue team. Getting information out of her about herself is difficult because she always wants to know why you want that information about her and isn’t satisfied with the ‘getting to know you’ answer.

How she reacts to people flirting with her: Frankly, she’s annoyed. She has better things to do with her time.

What she drinks in the morning: Sometimes tea, sometimes nothing. She’s a very busy woman, you know.

Human High Tide

Name: Highins Tide (But call him Captain Tide)

Race: Hispanic

Appearance: His short hair has turned salt and pepper, he has a scratchy looking shadow of a beard but he shaves before it grows out. He has green eyes.

Sexuality: Gay

Age: 52

He’s loud and opinionated but has a good heart where it matters. He came to the waters of Griffin Rock on a visit, but decided to stay as it was much more entertaining there than it was back home. He loves the excitement and action! He has a beagle/jack russell terrier mix named Servo that gets into everything and the rescue team petsits frequently. Servo is trained, but listens to High Tide the best and to Code the second best.

How he reacts to people flirting with him: He’s very likely to laugh in your face but might thank you for flattering him. On the occasion, he may flirt back.

What he drinks in the morning: Coffee, black.

There has to be a balance, however! If these four are humans, then 4 characters that are human in the show now have to be bots.

Hayley —> Hailstorm. Vehicle form: Ambulance.

Priscilla —> Patchwork. Vehicle form: Delivery Van.

Milo —> Metro. Vehicle form: Blimp. (Milo canonically has an air balloon but this makes more sense for a transformation)

Frankie —> Phasewave. Vehicle form: All-Terrain Jeep.

Hailstorm and Patchwork take place of Salvage and Blurr with the whole being found in a spaceship and helping the cave people thing.

Kascade has complicated feelings about Hailstorm. Hailstorm pretends not to notice but is quietly flattered.

Patchwork and Phasewave are sparklings like Code. Patchwork and Code struggle to get along whereas Code and Phasewave get along like a forest fire.

Metro takes place of High Tide, but instead of being a sailor he is just an ‘Agent Of Chaos’ (but not actually an agent). He’s kind of a wildcard and ‘prepares’ the bots to expect the unexpected.

Which means Phasewave takes place of Quickshadow. She is not an agent, but has a bad habit of thinking she can cover more than she really should on her own.

She honestly looked like a absolute trainwreck. Even more then she usually does, her plating was covered in scratches and her faceplates looked pale. Usually during a possession there's energon everywhere, primus almighty maybe the bot in question dies but in this case (yes i'm going the comedic route) the supposed 'demon' is this comedically weak one who just started her job and wanted to possess something easy. Like Quickshadow obviously. Heatwave came to her apartment to check up on her because she usually sends him a meme every evening at like 2 am and that hasn't happened in two weeks. When he enters, she's laying on her couch looking black-out drunk looking up at the ceiling. She is muttering demonic enchantments in what can only be described as very bad latin. Her cats were on top of her, Dough trying to smack the demon out of her system with his paw, to no avail.

P! Hotshot and P! Wedge: *kissing passionately in the recently locked trash compactor room* R! Heatwave, on the other side of the door. Horrified while holding a box full of junk to put into the trash compactor: “GUYS WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WE HAVE CLASS, GUYS ARE YOU KISSING?!!? EWWWWWWWW-” *audible gagging* P! Hotshot, panicking: “UH RECRUIT UH WE WERE UH-” P! Wedge: “Dark energon!!”  The gagging noises continue from the other side of the door. It’s clear that R! Heatwave approves of the relationship but he never liked the idea of kissing. Thinks it’s gross

~ Quickshadow might not understand the situation with this human and Quickie, but now was not the time for speculation.

Without a word, She was Quick to slide over to Quickie and shift her coolant Fans on the outside of her arm gauntlets before Faning the femmes Overheating frame enough that it wouldn't burn her if she touched her.

Once the frame was cool enough, Quickshadow slipped her arms underneath Quickie and carried her, using her own ventilation on reverse to make her own frame like a living refrigerator.

Quickshadow didn't particularly care for doing this method, but Quickie needed immediately help. She glanced over to the worried girl before speaking in a calm tone, as a cool mist came out of mouth with each word. ~

"Dont worry, She's going to be alright."

Ava couldn't help but sigh in disappointment as Quickie laid on the floor completely out of it, "mom, I told you if we went to that gas station you would've gotten a chance to cool down.." She is this close to overheating and passing out and her cooling fans didn't seem to want to cooperate this time round. This was her idea afterall, mother-daughter roadtrip around the US she said, it would be a great bonding experience she said. She just.. wasn't prepared for the sudden blast of heat that made it so her hud visor was basically *screaming* at her to cool down somewhere shady. But she refused this simply because she wanted to make her daughter happy, that were having so much fun. And then this happened... Ava squinted, "Hey ma?" "Y-yeah?"

"You told me your the only aston bentlely right?" "Mhm?"

"THEN WHO IS THAT??"

OHOHO It's my turn! A bit focused on the recruits because you handled the professnors.

Also recruit preceptor hcs too :) *cracks knuckles and starts doing pushups*

1. Recruit! Grimlock once played a game of house with Recruit! Heatwave. Recruit! Heatwave didn't have a single clue what he was doing as he was pretending he was the 'carrier' for the game. Recruit! Blades joked that he'll never be a good carrier. Recruit! Bee agreed with him. Cue Hotshot walking into Recruit! Heatwave's dorm room. Recruit! Heatwave was trying to sparkbond with his 'sparkling' (aka a stuffed animal), and couldn't do it because obviously he's too young, after Recruit! Blades and Recruit! Bumblebee were concerned that Recruit! Heatwave was 'going too far over a joke' and went to P! Hotshot's office to get some help because R! Heatwave refused to leave his dormroom.

2. Recruit! Preceptor is a science nerd. Ask him anything about how rocks are formed, or dinosaur fossils. He'll be all over it. He kinda has know-it-all energy, but he doesn't really mean to. Him and Recruit! Bee are best friends.

3. Medix has 'you were brave' cat stickers in a drawer in the medbay. No I am not elaborating.

4. Recruit! Blades is never seen without either Recruit! Bee or Recruit! Preceptor, sometimes there all together. They are a very close friendgroup and like to stay together at all times. Recruit! Heatwave likes to joke that there the 'comedy trio'.

5. The laundry room is Recruit! Heatwave's (although terribly obvious), hiding place. Remember he went in here when he was feral during the whole incident with Prof! Hotshot. He likes to hide in there when he needs a break from socializing and sometimes to escape getting in-trouble.

6. Recruit! Blades once said that he wouldn't confess to Recruit! Bee until 'he saw a cyberpig fly' to Recruit! Heatwave. Recruit! Heatwave proceeded to record a video of himself of him throwing a earth piglet (gently) into a pile of hay. when Recruit! Blades said that he meant a cyber pig, from cybertron.. Recruit! Heatwave walked past hero hall holding a literal cyberpig. prof! Hotshot chased him down when Recruit! Heatwave refused to drop the pig. Later recruit! Heatwave get bit by the same pig and cried. That was the day he learned about karma.

7. Scorch ends up meeting Recruit! Heatwave, the convo goes as follows;

Scorch: "So your a rescue recruit huh?" (Mind you Recruit! Heatwave just saved his aft.) Recruit! Heatwave: "Yeah! I just saved you obviously. Who do you think I was, some kid with insomnia and a need for validation?" Scorch: "yeah actually." Recruit! Heatwave: "OH YEAH. WANNA GO?!" Scorch: "oh oh you wanna fight now tiny? Sure."

Prof! Hotshot walked through a groundbridge to see Recruit! Heatwave fighting one of his old cube team buddies, Scorch. Recruit! Heatwave is losing miserably and looks like a wet cat.

8. Recruit! Heatwave does not have self-esteem for the life of him, at all, hell, Recruit! Preceptor doesn't have it either. Recruit! Heatwave originally got transferred to the rescue bots academy from a warrior training school, keen on teaching the younglings on how to become the perfect soldier. So trust me when I say that Recruit! Heatwave had a 'there was no you did ok and it doesn't have to be perfect' mindset for awhile. Recruit! Preceptor got transferred from a very prestige, very high-class private school. He had a bad mindset that every test was a trial to see if you would be able to graduate or even have a weekend off.

9. Recruit! Boulder's dormroom is literally half chia pets and plants, and half his room. Basically a mini garden. R! Heatwave is sometimes bribed to water them when they have to go on a fieldtrip, R!Boulder is happy to collect more chia pets and R! Heatwave is just confused on how R! Boulder's room isn't a greenhouse by this point.

10. In term of ages, R! Heatwave is the youngest. R! Blades is second youngest along with R! Bee, R! Chase is second eldest, followed by R! Preceptor and R! Grimlock. And R! Boulder is eldest.

AW HECK-- *Puts on a tracksuit and gets jogging on a walking machine*

This is Hotshot's first time ever as a Mentor to the Recruits, until now he had been working in managing the Academy along with being a Rescue Bot. The rest of the team (Wedge, Whirl, Hoist, and Medix) already have experience in teaching.

Not all of them spend the most time teaching: Whirl is the most active with her lessons; then goes Hotshot; Hoist is a nice middle piece, probably thrives in theoretical lessons rather than hands-on rescue sims; Wedge is there an acceptable amount, kind of a chill but tries to be a serious teacher; then Medix is a very busy bot, but you bet his lessons are HEAVY, but he's more than happy to answer and explain literally anything.

Brushfire, Slash, and other special-occasions characters take the same role as the surprise mentors similar to Bumbeblee and Preceptor's first appearances, Brushfire, for example, is especially eager to make the kids have hands-on learning and enjoys their presence, she's however happy that she doesn't do that every day, it's just not her style.

Wedge has a deep appreciation for Cybertronian history, as a side interest of some sort. He takes the occasional opportunity to share intriguing anecdotes and stories from the past. He believes that understanding the legacy of the Cybertronians-Human relationships can inspire their recruits and instill a sense of pride in their roles as Rescue Bots.

Whirl and Hoist both have a keen eye for recognizing the emotional well-being of their recruits. They notice when someone is struggling or feeling overwhelmed and offer a listening ear or comforting words of encouragement. Their nurturing and empathetic nature create a sense of trust and make their classroom feel like a second home; Whirl is good at noticing sudden changes in her recruits and Hoist can teach them navigate their emotions since he's very emotionally driven.

Hotshot takes a liking to praising his recruits; he understands the significance of both recognizing and celebrating the achievements of their recruits. He may organize silly ceremonies or events to acknowledge milestones, promote being the best version of themselves, and boost the recruits' confidence and self-esteem.

Medix believes in making his teaching methods fit the individual needs of each recruit. They take the time to understand the strengths, abilities, and weaknesses of his students and adapt his lessons accordingly, ensuring that everyone receives the necessary guidance and accommodations to thrive.

Wedge and Whirl get the most paperwork being the two older mentors, they once pulled 48 hours straight of work just so they would have it all finished all at once; it was not a good idea, they both fell asleep in the recruits' room conversation pit and had to be woken up by very worried students wondering why two of their mentors are just sprawled on the sofa, knocked out cold, best assured they never tried that again.

Heatwave always gets in trouble for Defiance of Authority; Blades usually gets in trouble for using his phone at prohibited times or in restricted areas; Boulder gets in trouble for his Persistent Tardiness, he takes too much time talking to his plants and time flies off his hands; Chase doesn't get in trouble, he's a golden student... unless? Vandalism.

Hotshot tries to hide it, but he has developed a nurturing care for the recruits, it's his rookie teacher's experience playing with his feelings, give him some time to settle and he'll be fine,,, hopefully--

Hotshot thinks about it and he just stares at R! Heatwave, who just shrugs and walks away.
