Generetion 2 Recap - Memorable Moments

It's time for another recap. It's a long post with lots of links, mainly for myself, so under the cut it goes...

The 2nd generation... Let's start with Gucci. I was sure he was going to be the heir. But he ended up being the most ignored and the most failed. He met his father for the first time on his last birthday before starting elementary school. He was also the most bland out of all children. It was as if he didn't exist beyond being born. The birthday he met his father and the day he played basketball at the park are the only remarkable moments of his childhood. And it got worse when he became a young adult, at least for a while. Then it got better but it also marked the end of his relationship with his estranged father. In the end he found happiness with Katherine and remained close to aunt Shirley having family visits regularly. I was glad that he seemed quite happy on that Sunday evening when the whole family was invited over by Roxie. His relationship with his siblings slowly grew into friendship since he was always around.

The middle kid Prada definitely didn't fit the middle kid stereotype at all. She was the most striking one: the only girl among the siblings; and the only blond in the family. She was lucky having Lucas as her birth father, with him being the most interactive and caring father of all. Despite being clumsy she was quite athletic and always seemed feisty and confident. Her childhood passed seemingly unaffected and she was really self-reliant. Things got slightly out-of-hand in her teenage years and the stress of being perfect all the time finally caught up with her. When the family visited the park one Sunday morning, she just sat in the sand pit with her little brother Fendi. It's like, only then, she realized how much she missed out in her childhood days. So, the dark thoughts started to form in her head. She made the first effort to reach out to her father, Lucas, on the day of the prom. And Lucas proved once more why he rocked!

Prada knew, though, that she didn't have much time with her father. That lead her to proactively reunite with him. That became the running theme in her college days. Another theme was her many superfluous affairs with boys. As a pleasant surprise, Lucas lived long enough to attend his first-born's graduation. By that time, Prada and Lucas was besties. With that she was able to have a closure on both her daddy and mommy issues. Prada left for Mermaidia after her dad's passing to clear her mind. Upon returning she found out that she was pregnant with Brendon's baby so he moved to town. After that, she remained in the background and did her own thing as Fendi was the heir and the main focus. Once her restrictions were removed, she was finally free to get married to and move in with Brendon.

And finally we move on with the heir, the most interesting and the truly perfect one, Fendi. Even though, I skipped his toddler days, Fendi easily completed his training and continued to be as efficient in his childhood days. In a house where children were ruthlessly forced to train & study, things were truly easier for Fendi. I can clearly say that he was the golden child. Not only was he allowed to play in a playground before his childhood ended, he was also acclaimed for his afterschool activities. Despite this, he was regularlarly sulking and his rebellious behaviour was mostly overlooked by Roxie for his academic results. Fendi was a big baby in so many ways. Despite being a brave sim with a touch of rebellious grumpiness, he was quite clueless about life and naive enough to fall for the first girl he met at college. They had a rocky relationship and I had to invervene at some point. Their marriage was surprisingly off to a good start, balanced with work and baby-making for a while. Honestly they had less fights than I would have expected from them. And they remained inseperable until death.

SPOTTED: Suri Cruise and Ex seen getting cozy at lunch together in West Hollywood!

Suri Cruise and _____ _____ were seen leaving Toast Café together on Friday, March 13th in West Hollywood. The two dated for almost a year before breaking it off for undisclosed reasons. The brunette kept it simple for the outing, teaming an oversized grey jacket and form-fitting black leggings, paired with Nike trainers and a Fendi bag to add a touch of glamour to her ensemble.

The two reuniting comes shortly after the announcement via Cruise’s instagram, which had been inactive since late December, that she had been admitted into rehab. In the post, the singer stated, “I was living in a really dark, sad world. I pushed away the people I loved when I needed them the most, and I was alone in the worst possible time.” Cruise then went on to speak about the depression she felt, and how she relapsed back into her Bulimia after seeing a hate page that targeted her appearance. “It really took a toll on me, that’s why I knew I had to take a step away from social media.” The former actress limited the comments on the post, but many of her celebrity friends commented in support of her statement. Sources say that Cruise plans to dive back into the singing career that had been put on hold and maybe even make a few acting cameos, despite saying in a series of tweets that she was quitting the field to focus only on her music career.

GhKdjsfhds UH sure I’m not even sure how to go about organizing any of my thoughts so how about I just give you a whole bunch of random thoughts about the puzzle family + co  in jot note form (sorta)  and you can take from it what you will … disclaimer: Im sure some of these contradict canon and I’ll forget I even came up with them/said them in this and contradict myself but also I am just having fun here and don’t care sfdhkjfhskjglgf

Hershel has an unusually small appetite and prefers lighter dishes to anything heavy or too rich

Emmy and Desmond are both pretty artistic. Emmy mostly focuses on her photography but also enjoys drawing while Desmond actually enjoys painting (mostly water colour) although he’d loathe to let anyone but Raymond know about his hobby until he’s much older - Hershel on the other hand can’t draw For SHIT.

Desmond hair turns totally grey pretty much overnight when he hits his mid 60s while Hershel’s hair doesn’t turn white (slowly but surely) until he’s almost 80. It’s a sore spot.

Luke has his picture on walls of restaurants pretty much everywhere he goes from winning those “eat this giant meal and get it for free” competitions - he wins them on accident most of the time and has forgotten about a lot of them

The Puzzle family will spend at least one major holiday in Monte d’Or with Randall, Angela and Henry - it’s always a huge event and they all look forward to it

Emmy reunites with Layton and the rest of the puzzle family shortly after the events in Unwound Future having heard about the attack on London and realizing delaying seeing the Professor again might mean she just /never/ sees him again (considering his preoccupation for danger) - she just misses Luke leaving but does get to meet Flora and is a huge influence on her becoming more independent and standing up to the Professor

Desmond reunites with the Puzzle family partially on accident after Diabolical Box. He sort of planned to drop in on Hershel and give his little brother a heart attack but it ends up being less smooth and more awkward and difficult than expected… he drops in on occasion but doesn’t make a habit of sticking around too long until much later (influenced by rebuilding some kind of fragile relationship with Lucille and Roland)

Alfendi grew up in orphanages - he’s aware of his biological mother but has no relationship with her. He meets Layton and Flora as part of an investigation (no I haven’t put much thought into exactly what) - he and Flora strike up a funny friendship and when Layton hesitates to have Flora really join in on the investigation Alfendi and Flora do a mini-investigation of their own. They both end up proving to be formidable investigators, but mostly really befriend one another… which in turn strongly influences Hershel to ask Alfendi’s permission to foster and eventually adopt him

Flora does learn to cook later in life but excels more in baking - Katrielle helped her often in the kitchen growing up which is why she loves sweets so much

Flora has a growing interest in robotics that really kicks off when Gizmo (the robot dog from Curious Village) first breaks down when she’s home alone and she has to repair him - Desmond specifically encourages this and helps teach her, Hershel signs her up for a robotics camp upon her request realizing how much she enjoys it

Hershel thinks it’s HILARIOUS that Lucy calls Alfendi “Prof” and literally never stops giving him a hard time over it 

Flora and Alfendi learn to fence, Flora is the better of the two of them. Luke takes up karate inspired by Emmy’s fighting style (and is a terrible, terrible fencer. Just plain awful). Katrielle tried a variety of sports growing up (acrobatics, track and field teams, soccer, floor hockey, variety of dance classes etc.) but never really stuck to anything

Alfendi used to smoke but quit after Forbodium and was never able to get back into it

Emmy used to sneak Alfendi and Flora into horror movies against Hershel’s wishes before Flora was old enough to sneak Alfendi in herself

Flora hit a major growth spurt bout a year after UF and towers over Hershel (and most of the family) at 6”0 tall. Alfendi is a bastard and stole her thunder by matching her height by the time he was 15

Hershel and Flora are both autistic

Flora still visits St. Mystere on occasion - more so when Bruno passes to keep an eye on the residents of her hometown. Her and Lady Dahlia have a complicated but still loving relationship

Luke writes a LOT of letters when he first moves to America to keep up with his friends in England (and all over) - this dwindles down over time but he sends monthly letters to Hershel, Flora, Arianna and Crow until he eventually moves back

Alfendi used to dye his hair black as a teenager but had terrible upkeep and lots of roots showing so he grew out of it in a year or so

Alfendi suffers from chronic migraines and pain exacerbated by Forbodium, which is why he really hates leaving the house/office unless absolutely necessary (he also just isn’t a people person) 

The amount of people the Layton’s refer to as their aunt/uncle is confusing as hell. Lots of the Professor’s old friends get aunt/uncle status (for example Uncle Randall, Uncle Henry, Aunt Angela, Uncle Desmond, Aunt Emmy, Uncle Wright, Aunt Maya, Uncle Andrew, etc.) - specifically confusing around Luke who’s referred to as both brother and uncle

Raymond and Alfendi are actually very close

Luke moves back to London to officially work as Layton’s assistant after he graduates high school in America but also travels independently more often

Raymond has been Desmond’s primary caretaker since his pre-teens. He’s the closest thing he has to a father-figure but they’d never call it that, but it certainly a strong familial love and loyalty - and Des did end up adopting Raymond’s last name “Sycamore” and keeps it post canon when he officially hangs up his persona Descole for good

Flora works a variety of odd jobs before she follows through on her passion of robotics and electronic design

Hershel and Alfendi both have terrible fashion sense

Hershel eventually does tell all of his children (and Desmond, Emmy, Randall) about Claire. It doesn’t get much easier to talk about, but he’s always relieved when he says it

Hershel still has some kind of relationship with Dimitri and Clive. It’s… complicated. Real complicated. But present.

Emmy doesn’t have a relationship with Bronev after the events of AL - she does try but ends up needing to cut it off for her own sake

Luke writes stories inspired by his and the Professor’s adventures - but he tries to keep it a secret while he’s writing, too self-conscious to think of letting anyone let alone Layton read them just quite yet

Desmond actually really likes working with children, finds their presence refreshingly honest (even when they’re little shits) - and really only remembers this when he’s surrounded by Layton’s children in the future

Flora calls Hershel “Dad” or “Professor”, Luke alternates between “Professor” “Hershel” (occasionally “Dad”), Alfendi calls him “Father” or “Hershel” (occasionally “Dad” as well) while Katrielle almost exclusively calls him “Papa” 

Hershel actually once genuinely almost forgot his name was Hershel because of how many people in his day to day just call him “Professor” or “Layton” and its a little jarring hearing his first name sometimes 

Flora was homeschooled while Alfendi and Katrielle attended classes at public school - Alfendi and Katrielle were both notorious trouble makers but for very different reasons

All of the Puzzle kids (Luke, Flora, Alfendi and Katrielle) are trans and are like the perfect sliding scale of The Type of Name You Choose For Yourself When You’re Trans from exceedingly normal to obscure

Luke’s full name is Lucas but literally no one calls him that 

Alfendi’s two personalities go by “Al” and “Fendi” (the latter being the post-Forbodium personality) respectively, but will respond to “Alfendi” regardless of who’s fronting 

Hershel, Emmy and Katrielle have lovely singing voices. Alfendi cannot sing at all.

Luke and Flora both learn to drive while Alfendi and Katrielle never do - Luke learns to ride motorcycles but will still scream the whole time if Emmy takes the wheel of ANY vehicle

Luke in all sincerity owns hiking heels and its the worst thing he owns probably

Devon Edwenna Aoki is sitting on set, chatting on her cell phone and smiling. Nestled in a Mylar cocoon, she resembles a pop mini-Venus performing for an off-set Warhol "A lot of people say I always look like I'm wearing a frown, but its not a frown- it's just really the way my mouth is," explains this 18-year-old Japanese/German/English wunderkind. "Some mean journalist lady once said that my teeth must be really horrible because I never smile, but most of the time I'm just following designer's runway directions." Devon's mood rivals the brightly coloured sequins on the Chanel dress she is now modelling for today's photo shoot And her teeth are impeccable. When I jokingly inquire if she will be doing the Chanel show at the Paris couture next week, the girl who Karl Lagerfeld has pronounced the great beauty of the new century scoffs at my silliness "Uhhh, yeeeeeahh, I think I might be doing Chanel. Sure!"

Before Devon arrives for the shoot that day, there is an air of apprehension in the studio. Rumours have circulated that she, like Naomi Campbell, is a spoiled diva, prone to snapping at photographers or blowing off shoots altogether. Does she have a list of photographers she refuses to work with a la Faye Dunaway's model character in "Puzzle of a Downfall Child"? Would there be a frazzled, cell phone-ducking personal assistant in tow? I quiver with anticipation. When the five-foot-six beauty makes her rather punctual entrance in a pale blue wrap-dress from Fendi (one of her favourite labels) and tall heels, the effect is half-Amazonian, half-kewpie doll. Instinctively, she reacts to the room's nervous silence by circling the studio, pausing in front of a hammock that the stylist has filled with accessories from Chanel and O&G. She smiles approvingly. I approach her cautiously, as one would a fawn, and ask her what she's been up to. "I'm in the process of moving to New York from London, reorganizing and throwing away old junk: she tells me matter-of-factly before showing the makeup artist the problem areas on her face even though her skin appears to be impossibly flawless. As we begin the interview, I feel as if I've been reunited with a high-school pal. The disparaging rumours, like so many in the fashion world, appear to be unfounded. Devon is sweet and personable, possessing a breezy charm that immediately puts everyone at ease "I'm happy to be working for a lot of reasons, but one of the most important things for me is that new models who aren't so stereotypical are being used more and more now: she enthuses. "I'm very different, I don't fit into a genre. I have a quirky, strange look. I honestly believe that beauty is everywhere and you can't classify it or impose boundaries." When Devon stomps down a runway, childishly swinging her arms while wearing her famous Lolita-like pout, her impetuous demeanour rarely seems calculated. Like Alek Wek, Devon often transforms the mood of a fashion show, unwittingly adding a dash of irony by injecting a dissonant element, thrusting the whole event into quotation marks. This effect can also be attributed to her presence as an Asian-American woman in fashion On this subject, Devon is passionate. "I think it's really important to have Asian girls on the catwalk- it changes the face of fashion, diversifies it, stretches the boundaries and creates more possibilities for what can be beautiful. It's amazing to see a black girl on the cover of American Vogue, and it will be just as amazing to see an Asian girl on the cover!" When I express how nice it would be to see Devon Aoki on the cover of American Vogue she playfully tries to downplay her enthusiasm. "Yeah, that would be amazing too: she grins.

Devon speaks with unequivocal praise for her father, Rocky Aoki, the Japanese entrepreneur who moved to America after WWII and started the famed restaurant chain, Benihana. "My dad was the first huge Japanese success in America," she says, beaming. "When he first came over to America he had it really tough This was right after Pearl Harbor and the war, so you can just imagine! He had to deal with losing everything after the bombing in Japan and coming to America and being completely ostracized because of his colour, his race. Being a Japanese man in America was incredibly difficult because people often end up generalizing and blaming you for things that you're not responsible for. But my father never let it bother him. He has such an amazing story to tell" Rocky also owned a nightclub in New York called Genesis and it was there that he met Devon's mother, an American from a blue-collar background whose family emigrated from Britain and Germany. After Devon was born in New York, her family moved to Malibu, California, where she spent most of her childhood. Being in touch with her heritage is important to her and she has visited both Kyoto and Osaka in Japan many times. "1 try to embrace my culture and all the traditions of my family," she says. "It's very important for me as a person to learn about where my family comes from." Not surprisingly, another topic Devon is fond of is clothing "One of my little secrets is that I go on eBay - it's so addictive! I just bought a great gunnysack and some cool 70s stuff:' And what does she think of the recent fad of recycling clothing i.e. Imitation of Christ et al ? "If you apply it to environmentalism, I think it's a good thing. On the other hand, you can't really beat a Chanel dress or a great Fendi handbag" Her passion for fashion has led her to design her own line, Devon Jeans, which should be in stores in the not-so-distant future. "I want to do couture jeans with a great fit that also have crazy embroidery, different kinds of embellishment. We're incorporating the whole Oriental thing with kimonos and things like that too." So between dominating the runways of Paris, London, New York, and Milan, appearing in oodles of ad campaigns and editorial spreads, and now launching her own fashion line, it seems the super-mini-model has the fashion world in the grip of Devon-Mania So what is her prediction for the future of Asian people in fashion? "1 think, little by little, Asians are taking over the world." And she's not kidding.

Off-White

The brand Off-White, originally called Pyrex was made by Virgil Abloh back in the year 2012 where multiple brands tried to overtake each other. Virgil came from the designer/luxury brand Fendi where him and Kanye West met while interning. They then became close, with Kanye and Virgil working together during fashion shows and designing pieces of clothes for Kanye’s Yeezy line as well as Virgil’s Pyrex. He was studying to become a producer for artist like rappers Kanye West and Kid Cudi, but due to the success of the Pyrex Vision brand, he had a new vision instead of music. He found success with his Pyrex flannel, that was from cheap Ralph Lauren outlet flannels with just the Pyrex name printed on the back and front. Virgil bought these flannels for cheap at the outlets and just cut the tag out and printed his brand Pyrex on it, which to most designers before was a bad thing due to nobody ever seeing this happen. Well as the years continued Virgil inspired other brands like A$AP Bari’s Vlone, and Neek Lurk’s Anti Social Social Club to use Gildan and other plan blank brands, with just their name on it. This also saves money and time for the brand owners, instead of just producing the shirt themselves, they just have to print the name on the shirt. Of course though, theses people all got backlash from the fashion community, calling each of them unoriginal and not creative for doing this, but still people continued to support the brand even after the negativity. The main reason people continued to support the brand, is because celebrities, like Virgil’s friend Kanye West wore the brand these people made. This kept Off-White popularity or hype, high because of the influencers wearing the brand. Virgil has also had a lot of brands asking to collaborate, such as Louis Vuitton, Nike, Murakami, Rimowa, and much more, which also gave the brand more popularity and hype. The most well-known collaboration and most selling was the Nike x Off-White Ten Collection, which Virgil remade the most iconic Nikes into a more designer shoe. This was one of the best collection, because this also gave Louis Vuitton the idea to hire Virgil for their upcoming collections. Sadly although, since Virgil signed to Louis Vuitton, he is supposed to end the Nike and Off-White collection, with rumors of the last shoes and clothing lines with Nike and Off-White ending in late January. The Off-White brand has even overcame the Yeezy line and shoes with people wanting Off-White more than the Yeezy and Adidas line or collection. Virgil has also made some of the best moments in fashion, with Virgil previewing his Louis Vuitton collection at the Paris Fashion show and had a moment with Kanye West where they reunited after a few years and looked back on their time with the Fendi internship. Virgil also retook a picture of him and other designers like Kanye West and Just Don, which people compared to their earlier picture of them back in 2009. People said he had made the biggest streetwear and High-end brand of the year in 2017 where he also produce the music video for Lil Uzi Vert’s Xo Tour Lif3 which gave Virgil more followers and increased his brands sales. 

The brand has also stopped printing on Gildan and other blank shirts, where now they make their own clothes and designs. Personally I like Off-White because of it’s back-story with Virgil’s come up and I suggest people support the brand because if also supports equality and non-violence organizations, which has messages like Princess on men’s shirts or Feminist with the iconic quotations on handbags or skirts. The brand’s iconic quotations show unique messages and support groups, especially with the Nike collection with Air on the side of most of the shoes or on most of the shirts the words teenager or feminist on the shirt. I would highly recommend this brand to people that love streetwear and high-end designer clothes.

‘There was a lot of silly fabulosity on set’

Dascha Polanco and Daphne Rubin-Vega hadn’t seen each other in more than a year — after spending months at the hip filming “In the Heights,” the movie adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony Award-winning musical, now in theaters. So, they were a bit giddy when they reunited last week to pose for photos at the East Village salon Treehouse Social Club.

“I gave her a lot of piggyback rides,” Polanco told The Post of their time shooting on location in Manhattan two years ago. (The movie was supposed to come out last summer, but was delayed a year due to the pandemic.) The petite Rubin-Vega confirmed their antics. “There was a lot of silly fabulosity on set,” she added with a laugh.

“In the Heights” centers around a tight-knit Latino community in Washington Heights, and Polanco and Rubin-Vega — along with “Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s” Stephanie Beatriz — play its scene-stealing salon ladies. These fabulously turned-out women, in their skin-tight pants and knotted turbans and gloriously long nails, know everything about everyone on their block and have opinions about them all, too. They are the neighborhood’s gossipy, meddlesome tias, as well as its glue and conscience. Rubin-Vega is Daniela, the dynamo salon-owner; Polanco, Cuca, one of her employees and BFFs.

Polanco, 38, and Rubin-Vega, 51, immediately grasped the importance of the salon ladies in the film — as well as in Latin culture. Both women immigrated to the US from Latin America when they were children, and both have powerful memories related to their textured manes. 

Polanco massaged her Dominican mother’s hair with oil in their home in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Her mom was a licensed cosmetologist, and though she never practiced professionally, she imparted her knowledge and expertise to her daughter.

“She taught me so much as far as the respect that you should have for your hair,” Polanco said. “Hair for her meant strength, meant identity, meant bonding, meant power.”

“It’s close to your head, which is close to God,” the Panamanian-born Rubin-Vega said, recalling how she used to wrap her locks in Bustelo coffee cans to smooth them out. “It really is the container of sacred things,” added the actress, who grew up in Greenwich Village with her Afro-Latina mother and Jewish stepfather.

Polanco and Rubin-Vega had never met before being asked to improvise together during a callback audition for “In the Heights” in 2019. Polanco, who had just finished filming the final season of “Orange Is the New Black,” hadn’t been in a musical before, while Rubin-Vega is a Tony Award winner for her role as the original Mimi in “Rent.” But the connection was instant.

REUNITED! Big Fendi Talks To ivcki Mianj About Colorism In The Rap Game & How Her Career Played A Part, Explains He Was ‘Salty & Bitter’ During Their Feud

Nicki Minaj and her former manager Big Fendi have mended fences and hash out their issues in a new podcast. Find out what happened between Nicki & Fendi, plus what he said about her setting the bar for brown skinned female rappers inside…

  Nicki Minaj and her former manager Big Fendi have been feuding since they fell out over a decade ago. But, they've let bygones be bygones.

A little backstory...

Fendi discovered Nicki during the MySpace days (in '06) and he’s the one who gave her the rap name she uses today, changing her rap persona from Nicki Maraj to Nicki Minaj. They fell out and the QUEEN rapper went on to be managed by Deb Antney’s Mizay Entertainment and Fendi went on to manage Nicki's rap enemy, Lil Kim. Before their fallout, Nicki wasn’t feeling how Fendi was marketing her and that’s what ultimately led to them cutting ties.

Last year, the “Barbie Tingz” rapper brought Fendi on Queen Radio where they sort of worked out their issues over the air. Now, they really delve into their issues on the first episode of Big Fendi's new podcast.

Nicki and Fendi haven’t seen each other since 2008 at a Lil Wayne after tour party in North Carolina. They’ve since mended fences and are now at a place where they can talk about the past and explain to each other why they did the things they did back in the day. Listen, they really were going at it where Nicki was yelling out “F*ck Fendi” and Fendi feeling like he wanted to roll up on her at events he knew she would be attending/performing.

After years of feuding, Fendi said he knew they had to squash their beef if he was going to continue to prosper in life.

Nicki asked him if he was dissing her because he was hurt and he admitted that he did. He said he felt like he put so much energy into something and didn’t receive anything in return.

“I felt like part of it was like, I felt like I started something…,” Fendi started. Then, Nicki chimed in “and you didn’t reap the benefits of it."

“Absolutely,” he responded. “And that goes for anything. In a relationship or whatever it might be, if you start something and you don’t reap the benefit from it you are going to feel like ‘Hey!’ But, at the end of the day, I feel like you did not give me my credit.”

Fendi admitted he was “salty and bitter” because he wasn’t receiving the proper credit he felt he deserved, along with the money. Nicki assured him she always showed him respect, but he seemingly felt a way when she would say Lil Wayne discovered her off of “The Come Up” DVD when he, in fact, discovered her.

“Everyone wants the stamp of ‘I did this for Nicki Minaj. At the end of the day, I did this for Nicki Minaj.’ But along the way my biggest push was you [Fendi] and The Come Up DVD,” Nicki shared.

The “Chun-Li” rapper said she didn’t get big and then said “f*ck Fendi.” It was “f*ck Fendi” before she started to pop.

”So it wasn’t like as soon as I made it I dropped you. I would never do that,” she said.

It’s all good in the hood now. For the record, she said she loves him and appreciates all the time and energy he put into kickstarting her career.

Now that they’ve made up, they can talk about what first brought them together: the music. Right now, the 37-year-old is working on new music, but she’s struggling to find a balance between writing metaphorical bars or creating trendy raps to ride the current wave of music right now.

“Sometimes I feel like I’m in a dilemma," she explained. "Do I dumb it down to go with what’s happening now? And that’s why it be hard for me because I hate putting out something that everybody else is doing and looking like I am on the bandwagon. I always like to try and switch it up. But at the same time, if you want to make it in ‘the game’ you kind of have to follow ways and trends.”

As for the album she’s working on right now, she said she’s finding a great balance.

Fendi then said he feels like Nicki played a part in how brown skinned female rappers were made to feel in the industry.

“I think brown skin rapper chicks - no disrespect - since you came in the game, it kind of made it hard for them,” Fendi said. “I think brown skin chicks gotta work a little harder. You set a bar for brown skin chicks. Cause a lot of chicks at that time were like ‘oh wow, Nicki poppin’ right now, I gotta at least catch up to look like her somewhat.”

The Pinkprint rapper acknowledged colorism in the game and even racism still being an existing factor in our world.  But she doesn't believe that's why she herself, who is a lightskinned rapper who fits the "industry exotic" image, is successful. She said:

“Well, I will say dark skin and brown skin women have to work extra harder in any field. Just like how I feel being black, a black woman, I feel like if a white woman and me were going for the same job at Wall Street I feel like I wouldn’t get the job off the rip just because of me being black. Unless I was double and triple times smarter than her or double and triple times better than her. So yes, I do agree with that.”

Hmm.

On Wednesday, the Kylie Cosmetics founder, 22, and the “Highest in the Room” rapper, 27, spent the day at the theme park in Orlando, Florida ahead of their daughter Stormi’s 2nd birthday on Feb. 1.

Jenner posted moments from the outing, sharing a slideshow of photos on Instagram.

The moms stood side by side while leaning against their daughters’ respective Fendi strollers. Palmer is mom to 3-year-old daughter Ayla.

The slideshow also included a sweet photo of Stormi, who matched her mom in a purple tie dye sweatsuit.

The proud mama celebrated Stormi’s first year of life with an extravagant amusement park-themed party dubbed “StormiWorld” — a nod to Scott’s Astroworld.

The celebration had everything from a live “Baby Shark” performance to carnival rides to Louis Vuitton-inspired fries. “I had to go all out for my baby,” Jenner admitted on Instagram at the time, sharing a sweet mother-daughter photo from the bash.
