The people who defend Dean's death via rusty nail on a run of the mill vamp hunt always quote him saying he's going to die on a hunt as their defense of why they they're pro rusty nail death, but they conveniently seem to forget that he also explicitly fantasised about retiring and going to the beach and putting his toes in the sand. because its something he acknowledges that he deserves
