It baffles me that there are people who A. Think that there's a way Ben Solo can be brought back (the explanation I've seen is "anakin is the chosen one! Therefore it can happen!") and B. Think that's a good idea

He is dead, and SW is better for it, bringing him back is one of the worst possible things SW could do right now, every other dumb thing they've done would pale in comparison

Actually circling back to their "reason" for why Kyle can be rezed, if being related to the chosen one is grounds for resurrection, then why kylo, the fascist mass murderer? Why not Luke?

And as is typical, the entire disgusting reason for this is so he can be with Rey and then the Skywalker line can be continued...

Ok, I'm not even the biggest fan of Jade/Skywalker, but that relationship is in no way comparable to fucking reylo

JUST BECAUSE A SHIP INVOLVES A JEDI AND A "REDEEMED" DARKSIDER DOESN'T MEAN THEY'RE THE SAME!

And this is probably a more controversial opinion, but what exactly is so wrong with the Skywalker bloodline ending?

People are always bemoaning how it's gone in canon (and that this also means Palpatine-the dead guy whose plans failed-"won")

But really, I think the bloodline (in canon) was more trouble than it's worth

Luke, Leia, and Shmi were good eggs, and I know that's 3/5, but Vader and Kylo did so much damage, damage that their families spent the rest of their lives cleaning up after, damage that ruined so many people's lives and left unrelated people to clean up the mess

And furthermore, they're Jedi, Jedi don't have bio children, the bloodline shouldn't be continued, technically it shouldn't exist in the first place
