One night, before going to bed
I set up my sweet tooth to be fed
I thought, “what do I want?”
Tried my hand at fondant—
But I think I made Oobleck instead.
#i used powdered sugar and marshmallow fluff#unfortunately we had only a small amount of powdered sugar#and i slightly overshot the amount of marshmallow fluff i needed#resulting in an incredibly sticky non-newtonian goo#that stuck to itself when i hit it hard#letting me remove it from one hand at a time#but meanwhile attached itself worse than ever to the hand i was holding the glob in#no putting it down did not help#i eventually fixed the problem with cocoa powder but wow#that was… a time#btw the reference here is to#bartholemew and the oobleck#which is a childrens book by#doctor seuss#involving a form of precipitation that sticks irrevocably to everything#and causes a lot of trouble#i am exaggerating the severity of this incident#but poetic license#catwings chatter#limerick#apparently that’s a thing i do on tumblr now#if you read all these tags God bless you#happy new year and good night#or whatever time of day it is for you#💚
