On the Sabbath, God rested, not because he needed to but because his work was done. My work is rarely ever done. But I still like to take a few moments to create. Whether I draw, write, make jewelry or something else, taking that time to reflect gives my hands something to do while I pray and talk to God. Sometimes something beautiful is revealed, others not so much. Isn't that just how God works though? He doesn't expect perfection, only submission and EFFORT. Father, let me learn to see past the imperfections and just appreciate the effort!
