I'm a resident evil enjoyer and I just realized that the guy who created the whole virus that the game is centered around did all of that (human testing. mass murder. bioterrorism.) bc he wanted to live forever. he also kidnapped children at one point (they didn't die). it feeeeelllss vaguely antisemetic (it's a Japanese game. I wouldn't be surprised) BUT ALSO he's old and British and an aristocrat and that's just like a hobby for old rich people so who knows
