i keep coming back to 'i was a functioning alcoholic til nobody noticed my new aesthetic' because i do distinctly remember conversations about how taylor seemed to be drinking a lot more and getting drunk at like every awards show she went to. and those conversations were coming from a place of concern and of hoping that she was alright and that this wasn't a problem.
so to then say 'ugh i can't believe no one noticed this problem i had' when i know that people definitely did, and on the same album say that fans who are genuinely concerned about a new relationship that you are in are just 'bitching and moaning'? what do you want from them? you're talking about so many people who do at least believe that they are coming from a place of care and concern, and you are totally dismissing them on both ends of a scale!
not to mention that her implying that since nobody (???) was noticing her ~aesthetic~ drinking problem she just stopped having it is a bit of a kick in the teeth to people who do have drinking problems and can't just stop having them, since that's not how it fucking works.

everyone is posting their spotify wrapped, however anzu does not have a spotify. given anzu mostly listens to music on the mp3player, the numbers on yt music wrapped also werent that accurate.
so how about you take this wrap (anzu is still mostly listening to just len-high prison songs on repeat theres no way these didnt get most listened to from anzu. all of them not just fallin down..)

Fun fact! The time between BOOK and the unannounced 24th studio album (3 years, 13 days & counting) is the longest distance between two *studio* releases in the history of TMBG!
Before it, in second place, is The Escape Team/MMR to Book, at 2 years, 11 months, 2 days, and Factory Showroom to Long Tall Weekend, at 2 years, 9 months, and 11 days.

Being a stan sounds so exhausting. Like being compelled to defend the honour of a billionaire who doesn't know you exist every time they say or do dumb shit sounds like the most miserable existence.

this is assuming you manually edit song info in your music library. if you don't, the last option is for you.

I think it's actually a shame that many of the Homestuck albums were taken down for purchase from Bandcamp. Some were bundled in with other ones, sure, but multiple Homestuck albums were just locked away without a possibility purchase. Albums like The Wanderers, Sburb, Prospit and Derse, Song of Skaia; all of these amazing works have been put behind a wall and cannot be purchased anymore, and these albums are some of the best works in the Homestuck discography. Hell, Sburb by Tyler Dever is one of my favorite albums, period. I was lucky in that I bought most of the lost albums before they were hidden in Bandcamp, but I imagine most people have never heard of these albums, let alone hear them.
Sure there's other apps you can listen to these on but it's not the same as purchasing and owning them yourself. It's not the same as being able to show support for these artists through buying these albums and putting money where your taste is. Some artists have put their Homestuck stuff on Spotify or soundcloud, but for the most part these albums have been relegated to the confines of either other albums (robbing them of how they were originally meant to be heard together without making a playlist of them) or are lost to hard drives and libraries of those who bought them when they were around, and I find that to be a shame.

this is going to bother me. i haven’t seen a single other person suggest that this was taylor shade. fellas is it a “response” to somebody else to release a deluxe version of your album. i don’t think the timing is relevant, it was 2 or 3 days after the album dropped, i think she was planning to drop it then the whole time

Okay so in mash they often play Japanese covers of American songs right? This was a super common thing in Japan at the same, genres like enka and kayōkyoku were mixing traditional Japanese music with Jazz, Latin and Country music, often covering songs in a mix of Japanese and English or Spanish (occasionally there is a bit of German).
Except China was doing the same thing with shídàiqǔ music (Jyut Jyu Si Doi Kuk in Cantonese, apparently). Obviously China was considered the enemy but we know that half the unit doesn't care about Cold War politics and they often deal with the black market.
What I am suggesting is that they should have gotten some Chinese records to listen to. And because continuity is often ignored on the show anyway it should have been specifically this cover from the opera Carmen.
