So back when I was only reading two webcomics actively I noticed that they both had violetbloods that were just Terrible. And then I looked at my own webcomic and noticed that I also have a violetblood who is just Terrible. Something must be in the water.

And then I thought "what if I were to lock them all in a room" and then I did. Tintoa is also there by virtue of being a violetblood.

Tintoa is trying to get someone to come get her out of there. Roonei feels for her but refuses to go in there. Eldred told her that she's an "indicator species", whatever the fuck that means in this context.

Both Cronus and Reptir believe that they have won this social interaction through clever subterfuge.

No clue what Annomi and Vitien are talking about. Maybe they'll kill each other.

I swear if and when I post Fragments there's gonna be people who unironically completely believe everything Reptir says. They're gonna believe that Tintoa is lying or hallucinating and that Carcer cannot live independently due to his disability. The latter is an insult to my writing ability, because I have an actual character who CAN'T live independently due to his disability and you bet your ass I do NOT infantilize her the way Reptir does Carcer. The former is just a really, really fucked up thing to say about a victim of gaslighting.

Some Priepe fun facts to celebrate them more. And also because I like talking about my characters.

Tintoa was initially meant to be a relatively minor character. She got a more prominent role solely because I like her.

In fact, I didn't mean for ANY violetblood to become prominent. I don't find them especially interesting as a class. But Tintoa wormed her way into my heart (class joke. Ba dum tshhh), Reptir kind of demanded space in the narrative by being heinous, and Stormfin captivated me in ways I wasn't expecting when I started writing her.

Stormfin's title, before it was Cabalist, was Corporal.

Tintoa's classpect has been one of the most consistent of all the classpects in fragments. I briefly toyed with it being Thief of Heart, but very quickly settled on Seer of Heart and it hasn't changed since.

The Priepes are the only lineage in Fragments that all use the same strife specibus (Scythekind). However, for most of the comic, Tintoa rarely uses Scythekind, preferring her signature Paddlekind.

Stormfin's faction in the War of the Kyriarchs was initially called the New Guard, which was then thrown out for being a little too Scythe (ironic, right?).

Tintoa will regularly send Eldred pictures of bugs she found in the bog. This is one of the fastest ways to get him to outwardly express an emotion. He particularly likes slugs.

Every single Priepe is a lesbian, which statistically has got to be unlikely but I don't care.

Reptir is the reason that Tintoa no longer admires Stormfin, which would be funny if it didn't make me sad.

Their freckles aren't actually freckles. They're bioluminescent markings that are most commonly seen in amphibious seadwellers.

I will not return to Gaza and my destroyed home anytime soon, as I do not own a car and have no one to take me. Therefore, my children and I will remain in the abandoned school, bidding farewell to everyone and watching their joy as they return.

How will I return with my belongings?

My home was completely destroyed, and I have no means of transportation. If I must return on foot, how can I leave behind my children's blankets, sleeping mats, and everything we own?

Frustration consumes me.

I don’t know what I will do on the day of return. It is exhausting and deeply worrying for me and my children.

My campaign is completely halted.

I am considering closing it, but I hope to reach 80,000 to manage my affairs. I want to travel, as I no longer have a home to return to, nor an education to secure my children’s future.
