Very pretty figeater beetle I saw at school today!! I've seen them around campus quite a bit but this is the first time I've gotten to take a picture of it after it landed :>

Bonus baby western fence lizard I saw outside our house! There's a ton of these little guys who live in our front yard ^^

You were the daughter of Shang Tsung, but you looked a lot like your mother, that's why many won't think you're his child. In the early stages of your childhood, you can vaguely remember living in a traveling cart with your father. You can still remember not having enough food and toys like the other kids. Friends were out of the picture. You never stayed long enough in a village to find someone to play with.

But everything changed one night. Your father became a popular sorcerer in a few days. Your little brain couldn't comprehend these big changes happening. More and more people came to him, until he manages to work for the royal family.

The older you got the more distant and colder your father became. You only see him when he teaches you the basics about magic. But at least you befriended a few people there.

The one you're closest to is Syzoth. At first he was really reserved and quiet, but slowly started opening up to you. You later learnt he was Zaterrian. You were fascinated by his shapeshifting. The more he spends time with you the more he feels comfortable in his reptile form. It wasn't a surprise when you both started developing feelings for each other. Syzoth would often end up in his Zaterrian form cuddling with you. How could he not? Your body warms him up so well.

"Let me see" You told him with concern in your voice. He lets out a hiss when you grabbed his scaly arm. There was a freshly cut wound on him.

"It's nothing." He tries to assure you, but you weren't buying. You walked up to one of your cabinets and took a green potion out. You open the bottle and pour a few drops on the cut, before smearing it everywhere. Slowly his skin starts to regenerate. Syzoth watches in awe as his wound disappears. "Thank you" he marvels. You just nodded and assured him. Syzoth thanks the elder gods for letting him know such a wonderful person.

Lizards tail fall off as a way of self protection from predators as it gives them the chance to cause distraction to get away. So I wonder if syzoth ever had his tail just fall off or not...

Enemy : *approaches.*

Syzoth : *gets scared and drops his tail as he runs away.*
